The soft sound of flapping wings stirred the air as a adult male griffin sailed across the city. His dark feathers blew against the wind, their dazzling gold markings decorating his body. The kimera's chains clanged as he flew gracefully. Tynan's sharp eyes scanned the city below, the white cresent moon running over his left eye. Occasionally he would flap his powerful wings before gliding through the air once more.
The beast's mind was racing as he soared, anger fuming his thoughts. "How dare that human come so close to me?" he thought to himself, "And to try to release me of my chains? I don't care what her intentions were, I shall not forgive her for trying to releave me of my burden. It is my burden to bare. She cannot understand, no human can..." He pause as he thought over how foolish the human species was and if his thoughts were true. "Perhaps one day," he thought, "I will go back and tell her, but that does not mean I will forgive her."
Tynan continued to fly above, his gold eyes flashing. He watched carefully at the ground below, for he did not want to enter the territory of a blood thirst pack who would pick a fight with him.

Eywen slowly uncurls from her protective ball. The sun was out. It was time to hunt.
She carefully crept out of his safe area that she had spent the night in, sniffing the air for danger. This old city was dangerous. Infested with dogs and bigger creatures then her. That was how her old pack, mother and father and sisters and brothers included, had been killed.
She needed to find a new pack before others thought her insane or rabid for being alone. She had heard of other packs outside of this city and had been traveling for days. However, since she was so small it was taking longer then she would like and could already feel her ribs poking out of her skin.
Eywen shook herself out of her thinking stupor and started to scent for rats, hoping that she will eat enough to give her enough energy to travel for that day.
((and good night!))

Tenkin opened her eyes, she was hungry again...
Right then she was in her pack(in the makings)'s teritorory.
First she wentover to thr watering hole and drank deeply, then she turned twords the hunting area to look for what could be breackfast.
A pigon flew by and landed on a low lying branch... that was her chance. She snuck past thr sleeping adults and pounced at it.
She was satisfied with her catch... a pigion that had probably just learned how to fly.
She tore off large chunks and swaloed them as quickly as she could so she wouldn't wake up the adult.
With nothing put the slightest amount of blood there and the fullest belly she had had in a while, Tenkin curled back into a ball and slept.

Tynan's sharp eyes pick up on the movements of two small creatures from far below. One seemed to have just begun hunting while the other was just enjoying one. Tynan observed that around the feasting one were signs that indicated others. Tynan's sharp eyes also told him that these two creatures were the same species and could have possibly been in the same pack...He was not certain. Either way, they were young, but may raise an alarm to the adults if they spotted him. To avoid this, he flew downward until he was flying between the buildings. He continued spiraling downwards on soft wings until his feet softly landed onto the abandoned streets. He wondered if he had gotten away safely, or if he had been spotted. Tynan's ears and eyes were on high alert.

Eywen only heard the soft sound of wind on wings only because she had been in the optimum spot to hear everything around her. She followed the sound and odd smell wildly curious to actually see another creature for the last week since her clan had been killed.
She want...no needed to find this other creature if only to reaffirm to herself that she wasn't going crazy in this so empty city that she wanted so desperately to leave.

The debris and dust around Tynan was blown away by Tynan's powerful wings after he had landed. Other than that Tynan's eyes spotted no motion. He seemed safe for the moment. In his mind and with what he had saw in the sky, Tynan made a mental map in his head. The pack had been westward so Tynan began moving eastward. There had also been that other small creature more northward from him, but if this kimera found him he wouldn't be too worried.

Eywen had finally tracked down the kimera that she had heard. She had it in her sights and was a bit disappointed that he (that she now noticed) was not her species but he had wings and that was close enough.
She wiggled her own wings in frustration since they weren't ready for flight yet.
She started to move towards the other kimera needing some companionship hoping against hope that he wouldn't fly away taking away her possibility of finding a companion maybe.

Tynan suddenly heard the soft footsteps of another from behind. He was suddenly worried if it was a member from that pack and he quickly whipped his head around in surprise. He raised his wings intiminatingly at first. Then he saw it was just the young kimera who he had seen northward before. He lowered his wings and let out a soft sigh. Before looking the creature over. He had see alnulfs before, but this individual he was unfamiliar with.

Eywen couldn't contain herself once she spotted the other kimera. She had to be sure that he was actually there and not an illusion.
With her eyes wide, she very carefully trotted up to him trying not to be threatening, circling, seeing every inch of him. After circling him once she sat down in front of him.
"My name is Eywen." Until she found another pack she was temporarily in his even if he was the only one until she found a better one.

Tynan was not sure what to think of this young kimera. "I'm Tynan," he said simply. With his sharp eyes he looked her over again. He now noticed how thin she was. Perhaps she was a loner. He felt bad for her, being all alone at such a young age...

Eywen waited for him to say anything but became distracted by the sound of a rat scuttling nearby. She quickly went in pursuit of it still a little hungry.
After quickly killing it she brought it back to the other kimera, putting it in front of him as an offering.

Tynan watched as she moved away only to come back and give her precious kill to him. He blinked for a moment, trying to work out in his head what exactly this meant. "She really got attached quickly, didn't she?" he thought to himself, "And all she knows is my name." This poor kimera. Tynan almost felt his heart soften. He knew exactly how this little kimera felt, because he had been in a very simular situation before. Suddenly a flock of pigeons flew over head. He grinned and said, "I'll be right back." With that he shot streight upwards with such great power that he seemed to move like a shooting star. As he flew through the thick flock he snatched two birds in his talons. They all scattered, but on his downward flight Tynan was able to snag one more. He fluttered back down and landed right in from of Eywen. He placed his kill in front of Eywen and said, "Now, let us feast together."

Ewyen watched as he launched himself into the air after the flock of pigeons making a note of how he flew for when she flies eventually. She was very impressed with how many that he caught and was glad that she found him. He can teach her how to hunt better.
Pulling herself out of her thoughts once he landed in front of her she nodded at him and waited until he started feasting before she started on her own. She's going to like being with him maybe she won't need to find another pack with his help.

It was probaly good that they now had food in front of them, for Tynan was getting somewhat hungray. He began picking at his rat, but secretly he had his eye on the little kimera before him. He was concerned with how thin she was.

Eywen tried not to show how hungry she was. She'd had a few days to get used to an empty belly. After filling up on her first pigeon she stretched her entire body already feeling the energy from the meal going through her body.
