Important Dates
._09/10/06._ Kumoru and Serif go to Project [x], and find out somewhat by mistake about Lab 305. The necromancer's curiosity is piqued by the idea of soul-capturing bottles.
._09/14/06._ Kumoru returns to Lab 305, and ends up with a soul bottle of his own. Oh yeah, and an essence, too.
._10/17/06._ Unbeknownst to the mage, the soul bottle makes its capture - of the souls of yoghurt cultures, of all things.
._11/18/06._ Thinking that the bottle has captured Arlyn's soul, Kumoru makes a frantic call to the Lab in order to learn how to open the soul bottle.
._11/21/06._ So the soul wasn't Arlyn's....
._11/22/06._ Kumoru encounters Rivener and Aphismet while picking up pizza for the kids.
._02/02/07._ Upon returning from France, Kumoru finds that his new soul bottle has arrived.
._02/06/07._ Remembering the owl ghost bound by magic to his home, Kumoru climbs onto his roof in order to capture and use its soul.
._02/07/07._ The mage takes his newly-filled bottle to back to the Lab so that the Raevan can... grow. Or whatever.
._03/16/07._ Kumoru and Donat encounter Alex and her dragon Lorenzo while out and about.
._07/02/07._ Lucretia emerges! Kumoru drags Arlyn along to go pick her up from the Lab. Or what's left of it?
._07/18/07._ While out and about, Kumoru and Lucretia encounter Isi again, along with his Raevan. Another Raevan appears with his (her?) owner, as well.
._08/15/07._ Kumoru, Lucretia, and Arlyn go out to the coffee shop and run into an old pirate friend.
._09/10/07._ Lucretia meets Rivener. It does not end well.
._10/31.07._ After being forced to buy a costume for the Lab Halloween party, Lucretia actually attends and.. finds out that it is not quite as bad as she thought it would be.

The Parent  Name: Asahi Kumoru Age: 21 Date of Birth: 9/3 Occupation: necromancer unaffiliated magic-user Likes: magic, reading, unstructured schedules, white rice, peace and quiet Dislikes: being told what to do all the time, loud noise, bitter foods, windy days Good at: most magic, reading, writing, singing, maintaining his appearance Bad at: keeping his house organized, getting rid of possessions, gardening Appearance: Kumoru is a little on the tall side of average height. His slender build, long black hair, and delicate features make it quite easy to mistake him for a woman. His complexion is somewhat light, since he prefers to stay indoors, and eyes are a bright, almost unnatural shade of blue. And, being a mage, he can almost always be found wearing mage robes and reading glasses. And a lil' bit of history: Kumoru was a promising student at the Mage Tower where he was raised. He had a natural strength in spellcasting, even if he was lacking in stamina, and he also possessed a powerful curiosity and interest in learning. His teachers were satisfied, at first, when they saw that Kumoru was quite content to study on his own, not needing their help. But Kumoru's interest lay in magic that dealt with death and souls - a dangerous sort of magic that had led other promising young mages down paths of evil. For a time, they were content, if not comfortable, with simply watching over his shoulder so that they could steer him away from his chosen path if it should prove to be turning his heart to evil. But the elder mages soon realized that it was unlikely that they could ever make Kumoru focus on something else for any reason. Out of fear (but also to preserve the Tower's reputation), they sent Kumoru away, but told him that it was nothing more than an opportunity to study outside the boundaries of the Tower. So Kumoru left to live and work on his own, though it's quite possible that the Tower mages are still secretly trying to keep an eye on him.

._Family Members biggrin Jilan ~ My bookworm of an older brother. He and Daddy are very close. He is a nice boy, but I do not know him well yet. whee Xiao Huo ~ I think Jilan kind of adopted him like a little brother? This little guy confuses the heck out of me, but he seems to think I'm some sort of magical goddess or something. I can live with this. 3nodding Bhel ~ So much more awesome now that he's not a drooling baby. He and I love going to play laser tag! biggrin Donat ~ Kind of boring, but he's a good kid. biggrin Arlyn ~ Strange and kind of dangerous, but he and I get along well enough. rolleyes Serif ~ Loud and annoying. I don't really know her.

._Essence and Soul Fel Essence Ice Rose
"Glimmering in white, blue and purple sheen, the Ice Rose stood in radiant splendour. However, do not misunderstood, this isn't any rose carved out from ice. It's actually a real living rose growing out from ice!! Oh~ the mysteries of these fel essence! How can anything, much less a plant grow on a piece of ice? And the most amazing thing is that the rose doesn't wither and die, Kyou's theory is that the icy nature is what's keeping this rose immortal."As a result of the nature of her essence, Lucretia feeds upon things essential to plants - sunlight, water, and carbon dioxide. She absorbs enough CO2 and light passively that she does not tend to feel the need to actively seek out these things, but still considers dry ice to be a wonderfully tasty treat. More often when she is hungry, Lucretia consumes water ice, though perhaps if hard-pressed for nourishment, she would not turn down liquid water. Lucretia's essence gives her the ability to manipulate temperature, through direct contact or very close proximity. Her skin is always uncomfortably cold to the touch for humans, and it tends to get even colder when she is particularly upset, angry, or excited. At the moment, she does not have a whole lot of conscious control over her own temperature, but the Raevan does have the ability to freeze water into ice more or less at will. Soul Lucretia also possesses the soul of a barn owl ghost. This gives her a somewhat predatory attitude, leading her to disregard the feelings of those who might be getting in between her and what she wants. The Raevan also enjoys hunting small things, deriving great thrill from the chase, and takes perhaps a bit more pleasure in killing than most humans would find normal. So far, however, she has not actually taken a life without at least what she deems to be a good reason, and thoughts of doing brutal violence for no apparent reason rather unsettle the girl. When Kumoru captured what would become Lucretia's soul, the ghost of the barn owl was snared in a spell that bound it to his will. This spell has persisted in Lucretia. As a result, she feels strongly compelled to ensure her father's happiness and satisfy his desires, and has a bit of a sense of what he wants even when he does not actually voice it. They are by no means psychically linked, though - Kumoru has no such sense of Lucretia, and she can by no means read his mind - and when they are separate, it takes much longer for the Raevan to learn what the necromancer wants. Kumoru is aware that his spell is still in place, and has started to use it to his advantage. At the moment, if he insists on his desires and demands of Lucretia, she has no power to resist him. The Raevan is only beginning to suspect that she is being actively manipulated, and for the most part just sees her actions as a strong desire to please her father because she loves him so much.

._Quests Current Title : What is that sound? Description : There had been a constant disturbance in your neighborhood at night. You realized that the stray cats that usually roam the back alleys are no longer there. A strange loud noise can be heard every night, sometimes waking people from their slumber. Terrified, people don't know what to do about it. Why don't you do some investigation of your own and find out what is behind the mystery noise? Requirements : Must be done with at least one other Raevan.

[.01] Brief meeting with a staff member (PRP) to pick up your newborn Frei.
[.02] General RP with staff and owners, the Raevan must take part in at least ONE open RP event.
[.03] Sufficient emotional and mental growth on your Raevan. Drama is encouraged!
[.04] Perform a check-up (PRP) with Dr.Tsu.
[.05] Perform a growth quest. Growth quest can be thought up on your own, but you will need to have Kyou's approval before you do anything about it. Or you could let Kyou think up of one for you.

- Name newborn Raevan, wait for cert.
- Fulfill RP requirements.
- Wait for artwork to be done before you perform the requirements for the next stage.
