7/3/05 ~ I visited Miss Koyuki's lab and she showed me the glass pod where my little girl is developing
9/2/05 ~ A second visit to Miss Koyuki, and I was able to bring little Serif home!
11/11/05 ~ Serif passes a pleasant afternoon in the park, being a little terror.

9/3/06 ~ I returned to the lab with Serif, and ran into a young fellow named Isi.
9/20/06 ~ The family goes on a trip to the museum. Something is amiss when we return, however.
11/18/06 ~ Bhel joins the family!

6/2/07 ~ I take the whole bunch to the fair. Chaos ensues.
8/15/07 ~ A second, more successful excursion to the fair.

Appearance: Kumoru is a little on the tall side of average height. His slender build, long black hair, and delicate features make it quite easy to mistake him for a woman. His complexion is somewhat light, since he prefers to stay indoors, and eyes are a bright, almost unnatural shade of blue. And, being a mage, he can almost always be found wearing mage robes and reading glasses.
And a lil' bit of history: Kumoru was a promising student at the Mage Tower where he was raised. He had a natural strength in spellcasting, even if he was lacking in stamina, and he also possessed a powerful curiosity and interest in learning. His teachers were satisfied, at first, when they saw that Kumoru was quite content to study on his own, not needing their help. But Kumoru's interest lay in magic that dealt with death and souls - a dangerous sort of magic that had led other promising young mages down paths of evil. For a time, they were content, if not comfortable, with simply watching over his shoulder so that they could steer him away from his chosen path if it should prove to be turning his heart to evil. But the elder mages soon realized that it was unlikely that they could ever make Kumoru focus on something else for any reason. Out of fear (but also to preserve the Tower's reputation), they sent Kumoru away, but told him that it was nothing more than an opportunity to study outside the boundaries of the Tower. So Kumoru left to live and work on his own, though it's quite possible that the Tower mages are still secretly trying to keep an eye on him.
