Radiant Village Gates The village of Radiant is surrounded by towering stone walls, about twenty feet in height. The only gate is made of sturdy wood, looking as though someone tied large tree trunks together to make it. This is the only defensive structure the villagers had time to erect. In this time of unrest, the gate is closed except to those who are coming and going to fight for the settlers right to claim this valley. Two lookouts are always sitting atop the wall, simple crossbows in their laps, watching the nearby trees - only ten feet away from the outside of the wall. They are eternally hoping that only friends will emerge from those trees, so that they can call down to the noncombatants to open the gates for them. For the most part, they sit, and watch, praying they will never have to use the weapons they hold.

"And so it begins."
Aiolos waited at the gates, his C flute in hand and his newly acquired leather gear worn. He never was a man of war, but hey, now he is. He played the flute softly, waiting for the others to arrive. It was some Russian-style tune, it was slow, and Aiolos kept it that way. He looked at the huge gate in front of him, it's amazing villagers could do something like this... He kept playing, the tune getting faster, conveying his excitements and fears in his music. The notes quickened, and so did the wind around him.

Mozz let his finger flow through his raven hair as he walked through the gates, already getting a bit jumpy, he looked around for his companions.
"Ah Aiolos. are you ready?"

"I don't think you can truly be ready for something like this." Aiolos replied, finishing his solo.

That was some rough nail filing going on. With her hand cuffed to her and right leg tossed over the left. Looked domineering and imposing almost.
Especially sitting atop a strangely glowy tiger that seemed a might bit pissed. Understandable with it's current situation of being a mount.
"So like...when we gonna go...?" She sounded almost bored.

"I believe it is time," Came the mocking voice of Shade, he seemed to materialize out of nowhere as his cloak turned off. Giant Exodus rifle in hand, he was death incarnate from afar, and it was time to play god.

"Goody."
Aiolos twirled his flute around his fingers. He went up to the gate and leaned on it casually, concealing a shaking hand.
"I still got the logging camp, right?"

"Great."
Slip of the hand to hide away the nail file. Quick blow across the nails and she leaned back on her mount. The small growl of annoyance went completely ignored. Even more so when she kind of swatted it's rump and muttered something like 'Giddy-up'.
Really now, she was bored, time to go. And in fashion true to herself she started off for the forest that had been her entrance.
Waiting sucked man, let's get a go.

Shade saw the female leave, she might make great bait if he needed any. Not to mention she seemed pretty gun-ho being the first one to leave, so why not follow? The sniper quickly followed after, not yet turning on his cloak once more.

Jacknife jogged up to the group. "Sorry I'm a bit late. I had to change into my gear and some of this stuff takes a while to get on." He said as he stopped next to Mozz. "None of you would happen to have anything to camofladge skin would you? I seem to have lost my paint." It would make it easier to hide if his face was the color of the woods, but he could make do without it. He was well trained.

“’fraid not, but we have some moving to do! Lets go, our enemy won’t wait for us to be ready.” Mozz spoke, his face turning in Jackknife’s direction. He was antsy, real antsy, something about a real battle made him more nervous then 1 on 5’s versus a super villain and some henchmen. “Lets get going!”

"Right then, I got your back covered." Jacknife replied to Mozz. He turned to the rest of the people gathered around the gates. "Dont die alright guys. I want this village to be here when I get back, eh?" He said with a wink before turning and following Mozz out of the village. A two person strike team huh? Sounded like a plan to him.

It was about time Kalis showed up.
He looked not much different than before. A longer green coat, a large sword sheathed and slung over his right shoulder, and he hat something resembling gauntlets and greaves on instead of hiking boots and leather gloves. The main difference was a dark bandana and a dark wide rim hat now hid his bright white hair.
"Looks like everyone's started without me."

He'd wasted enough time, stretching, and clearing his head of bloody images, Kalis put a leg over his dirt bike, turning the thing on, and pulling the tinted goggles up over his eyes.
Taking his time and being quieter for now, he headed into the forest.

Aiolos left towrds the forest, he prefered to distance himself from everyone else, looks like he waited long enough.
He went through the gate, and into the fire.
