The journal before you is almost completely covered in glossy, black feathers.
They seem to shimmer in the breeze that plays over and through them.
Walking closer, you find that there really is a breeze...where could that be from?

The Summer Masquerade has ended, and the suspect for the capture of the little gypsy girl was revealed. You leave to go back home, slightly tired from the festivities, when you hear very light footsteps behind you. You turn around, only to see the Herald respopnsible for the kidnapping standing behind you with his hands in his pockets, staring at you expectantly.

Personality: Kemuri is not a shy Herald. He is outgoing and he almost never is nervous. He's very sweet and he's no Player with girls. He's a total Flirt but he is dedicated to ONE girl! He's a 'Heart-Throb' as described at the Summer Masquerade. He doesn't ever use his soft smile and body for anything that will get him in trouble. He only smiles at the LADIES too. Sorry all you Homosexual Heralds out there. Well, no one REALLY knows if he's straight or not. He goes after anything cute.
Looks: Kemuri has Navy blue hair. over an inch long. he has large, navy blue and somewhat black-ish wings. he wears long sleeved shirts normally. he dresses in dark colours. darks blues and dark reds. his eyes are red and quite bright, actually...
Likes: Kemuri really likes pretty girls. (i wonder why he followed me...) he also likes shiny stuff. maybe some habit he picked up from the sacrificed crow/raven. he loves just smelling flowers, watching the water flow in the river or just stare at the clouds under some bit of a tree. he loves nature, in a sense.
Dislikes: Dry Elbows... are a pain to him. He doesn't really like short sleeved shirts. only unless it is really warm. he eats fairly little and is a bit picky. it's alright though. all he doesn't like are sweet foods and spicy foods. ( he won't eat my candy ). he doesn't like it when it rains. his feathers get feel funny until it's sunny again.
Habits: Kemuri doesn't treat Lily like a girl much. one of his worst habits is just walking in with only but a towel around his waist and walking into the shower and taking a shower when Lily is brushing her teeth or doing something in the washroom. fixing hair, putting lotion on, or even washing her glasses frame. he really doesn't treat her like a girl. he just barges in and goes to take a shower. lily gets irritated at it. and flushes so only hot water comes out. Kemuri doesn't notice the really hot water until afterwards, his arms and legs are somewhat redish and sting when you touch them...
he also has a habit of sleeping with the blanket on even in killer heat. so Lily has to turn on a fan blowing towards him a little so he won't get too warm. then in the morning, he is freezing cold so he wraps his wings around himself. it's a good way of hiding when lily's parents come into her room to check up on her. they think it's a new chair Lily bought at Ikea. they never want to sit on the 'feather chair' though... Kemuri can stay still for a long time. so it's good that way for him to hide like that.
he has a habit of sulking whenever he loses to lily in Mario Party or any other 2 - 4 player video game. he sulks beside his bed next to his lamp. lily has to clean up the game and stuff. but it's alright. then she goes to her computer and plays computer games until Kemuri comes out of sulker mode. which happens to be until he's hungry. then he goes to get something to eat. and stops sulking. then challenges Lily to more video games. if he loses, he sulks again. until he wants to sleep. then when he wakes up, he normally wakes up Lily because he has to crawl over her bed to get down the stairs, while he can perfectly float down with his wings.
He also has a habit of sleeping without a shirt on. he says 'it hurts my wings' and stuff. so sometimes, he only sleeps in his boxers and some sleeping pants or just boxers. Lily gets really irritated in the morning when he does that, because it's not plesant to see Kemuri with tattered hair, a blanket that's been kicked away, and only boxers on Kemuri, as the firt thing you see when you open your eyes. it's scary...
Powers/Abilities:

History: Many of you may already know about the Fortune Teller. Well, one day, she came across a dying Herald. She sacrificed her familiar (a crow/raven) to keep him alive, hoping he would one day be able to help/aid her. She fed the Herald spirits to accelerate his growth to adult as soon as possible... but something went wrong. He resisted, and ultimately left her. The Fortune Teller still cares for him.

Living Quarters
Since Lily and her sister have lived in the Attic for a long time. since they moved in. but her sister moved to the guest room on the second floor. lily's family didn't find a place to put the extra bed, so they just left it in her room. Now, Kemuri sleeps in the Purple bed next to Lily's, the Pink bed. no one knows about Kemuri sleeping in her room. he normally climbs the window to get in... he normally drops a feather or two somewhere on the floor under the window. Lily's not pretty, so Kemuri sleeps facing his lamp. Kemuri normally sleeps at 11pm - 12:34am til about noon-ish. he likes to sleep in.
Lily has a lot of plush toys. but it was upsetting Kemuri and making him sit in the corner of the top level where the beds are. Lily put them away, except for her kitty pillow and large teddy plush. she could have at least one plush in the room she and Kemuri shared now. when she was playing video games, kemuri watched as she fought evil monsters and he would get so excited about the winning of the game or get upset that she or himself lost. Lily loved to keep flowers, so she kept a lot in the room. Kemuri wasn't bothered by it. he liked flowers. he couldn't go downstairs, because Lily's parents would see him coming from the top level where Lily was, and freak out. so Lily made 3 box lunches every day, for the 3 meals. anything let over would be for the next meal with what was packed or not eaten. Lily made this every day. Kemuri didn't complain. he was lucky to get human food and not just spirits....
the room is equiped with:

a book shelf (full of graphic novels)

down the stairs, is sort of a half level. the only thing there is a washroom. they had to add it in because there were only 3 washrooms in their house, one in lily's parent's room, one in the guest room, and one on ground floor. the one on ground floor does not have a shower. only the ones in the rooms have one. lily's room couldn't fit a washroom in because they didn't have the right sized support beams. so they made a half level with a shower and a lot of support beams... they had a lot of extra and it was not refundable. so they used it anyways to make more support... Kemuri goes there to shower and brush his teeth and stuff. Lily does too.

Mom- lily's mom. otherwise known as 'mom' or 'momee'. she is nice. she cleans, cooks and reads often. she hass short black hair and brown eyes. she has frameless glasses with the sides in black. she is about 155 centimeters tall and her age is unknown to the world. Lily knows it but she doesn't tell...

Nikolas and Nikki- These two twins are about 4 years old. They live next door to Lily's Family. Nikolas is a boy and Nikki is a girl. they look almost identical except that Nikki's hair is long and Nikolas' hair is short. Lily is often asked to look after these two. they do have an older brother the same age as Lily. His name is Aaron. Lily calls both twins 'nik' for short...
Aaron- He is the same age as Lily. Sometimes, his parents call Lily to Baby sit the Twins, and sometimes pay a bit more because Aaron was in the house when she was babysitting. Lily sometimes feels that she is babysitting 3 people, instead of only the twins. He's troublesome and emotionless almost all the time. he sits there watching some sad anime people put fansubs on most of the time Lily is there. he puts them on DVD and watches them on the tv. he doesn't help cooking, cleaning, or watching the twins when she has to cook or wash the dishes. he watches the anime when Lily is there because his parents don't let him watch it because the twins are too young and they will get nightmares.

Outfits (( who said i had only polo shirts, dark colouredpants, socks, and undergarments?! D< )) Lily's Clothe Mound:
-Tank Tops
- This tank top has a thin shoulder strap. it is meant for summer wear. it has been stitched around under the breasts. it is slightly loose for Lily. she normally never wears this shirt. she wore it many times though because it is really warm in the summertime. under the row of stitches around it, it sort of looks like a skirt under it. it has small shiny beads sewed on it to form a flower near the right side of the shirt.
- Lily has another tank top which has a thick shoulder strap. it has a picture on the front of it. the picture is of a pair of cherries with sequins sewed on it randomly. there are words on it that say
- Lily has this pink top that is sorta like a halter top. it's a warm shirt mainly for early spring or late fall. it looks like a plain pink halter top but it got sewed together at the strap in front. so it s a halter top with the front as a cross. she likes to wear grey aetting armsocks with this top.
-Polos
- This might be Lily's signature shirt style... an oddly coloured polo shirt with darkly coloured pants. she has only about 8 different coloured polos. she has one of each of these colours, yellow, blue, silver, pink. she has different coloured ones too. she has one which is orange,pink and red mixed in stripes. she has 1 plainly coloured polo. it's light green with a white collar. she has 2 other ones which aren't plainly coloured or stripes. they are polka dotted near the bottom. one is white with pink dots and the other is white with light green dots.
-Pants
- Lily has pants too. not only shirts and a tank top. these are almost all black... she has some dark green pants. almost all her pants are made of jean material but aren't tight. she despises tight jeans. she has some dark blue jeans too. but not as much as black ones.
-Accessories
- Lily has grey netting armsocks as listed before. they have a hole for the thumb to go through and one for the pinky to go through. they can be pulled all the way up to her elbows or higher. they aren't hard on the skin and are quite warm in the winter. Lily likes to wear these with the pink halter top mentioned before.
- Lily has a few pairs of earrings. they are all just studs because she has sensitive ears. she has about... 2 pairs maybe... some loners... they have a greenish cooured stone on them with a gold coloured outside shaped as a star. she never loses these ones.

Kemuri's Clothe Mound Pile.
-Shirts
- Kemuri has a long sleeved red shirt. This long sleeved red shirt is the shirt he had worn for quite some time. he wore this shirt when he had followed Lily back to her house. this classic long sleeved red shirt has weird markings around the bottom of the shirt and around the bottom of the sleeves. this shirt is not a bright colour, it's a fairly deep red. this is the only shirt that he has at the moment. he wears this shirt everyday and yet, there is not one stain on it.
-Pants
- This herald owns black pants. these pants are long and are made of a cottony material. they are very comfortable. it fits Kemuri perfectly and since he stopped growing taller for now, his pants can last him quite some time before he has to throw them out or give them to charity. they have places for a belt to go around his waist in case he needs to wear a belt or hook something on such as keys or a keyring for fun or something.
