ANDESINE Negaverse LieutenantMOOD: “Time to make a good first impression.” ACTION: Introducing herself! As she got closer to her fellow lieutenant, Andesine slowed her pace. Oh……someone else had come for him, too……and that person was a General. So, he probably had things handled without any extra hands on deck—but there was safety in numbers still, right? Especially when there were so many of those alien-loving sellouts from the White Moon and their uninvited extraterrestrial friends around. Chaos had to stick together.
Clearly, either the General (Rakovanite) or the Dark Mirror senshi who’d followed him (Narcissus) believed the same thing (or both of them did), since they were here, helping the poor boy (Diasporite) instead of wandering off to God-knows-where like the other, outrageously tall Dark Mirror who Andesine had spotted (Murikabushi). Honestly, the nerve of some people. Going off on their own while their Chaos coworkers were in the thick of it with alien freaks! Have fun getting eaten by dragons or kidnapped by ghosts, Danger-Prone Daphne! Don’t let the door hit you while you Exit, Stage Left!
“Sirs,” Andesine said crisply, giving the General a salute and nodding at his Dark Mirror friend to show respect. “Lieutenant Andesine, under General Ashanite. I noticed a fellow officer in distress and came to help however I can.” Looking at the boy, she tried to give him the kindest smile she could manage. “How are you doing?”

Pendour Transcendent Knight of Neptune
MOOD: Slightly Less Calm ACTION: Trying to deescalate the Lourdes situation. It was the sounds of threats and insults that pulled Pendour's attention away from the stars, and her friends, and towards the rest of the group and the situation they'd found themselves in. One of the knights, one she recognized from her tea party, was yelling and raising a weapon against the Velencyans. A few people were coming in to stop her, a Mars knight and a senshi in red, but they were being confrontational about it in their own way. She didn't want the Vanguard to feel threatened, but on the other hand, the thought of internal conflict among her allies made her heart hurt worse. "That, um. That looks bad," she told Encke, and Basi, and Viatrix, and then she was walking away from her little bubble of close friends, and towards the little bubble of Velencyans and anger. "Don't," she said, her eyes wide, pleading, as she looked between the two knights, the one senshi, the Velencyans with their weapons. Fae-Fae and one of the others seemed to be kissing and ignoring everything else, so maybe the situation wasn't completely unsalvageable. " Please. Not here, where all of us are in danger, maybe." Not anywhere else, either, but she could try to talk about that afterwards. "Just, take a breath, okay? Here." She put her ocarina to her lips and played a few bars. That always seemed to help. Quote: Magic - When Pendour plays her ocarina, the negative emotions of those within five feet of her fade and are replaced with a feeling of blissful, almost sedative relaxation. The strong willed can shake the effects with intense concentration, but it serves as an effective distraction. She can channel this magic for one minute. Quote: Anyone in the Vanguard huddle can choose to be affected-

Ida Transcended Eternal Senshi of Orchids
MOOD: Uneasy ACTION: Taking stock of the situation, deeming it managed by the order there, and deciding to take a closer look at the ruins to find some answers.
The amber light had come out of no where, really. Ida had been investigating one of the blighted sparks in the park when it had flashed over her, blinding her for a few precious moments until it cleared. She'd been sure someone had attacked her, adrenaline spiking in her disorientation, but when she had straightened... she wasn't in the park any more.
This new place was strange... the sky a shimmering opalescence, and the land definitely not Destiny City any more. And where she hadn't felt any power signatures within striking distance, now they flooded her senses from all directions. Order, mostly, but she caught bits of noxious aura from those aligned with chaos. Turning, she took quick stock of her surroundings, assuring herself no one was actually attacking her... even if raised voices hinted that maybe someone else was not so lucky.
There were... a lot of people she didn't know here. Surprising, but maybe not if she really thought about it. She'd been standing back so much recently. Of those she did know... She could just make out the red headscarf of Kerberos and the blonde hair of Erytheia. A tall figure was possibly Murikabushi... Encke was a comforting sight as well. Well, that was atleast three third ranked figures she trusted. Contrasting that was the collection of agents and corrupt senshi... and the knot of very tall, pastel colored figures she'd seen at the Vanguard ambush.
So. Whatever it was, had taken all of them. From experience, and the way no one seemed to be claiming responsibility, that meant they were all equally in danger. Nothing pulled you half way across the universe to have a sit down and some tea. Turning slowly, the eternal assessed the surroundings, looking for clues about the purpose behind them being here. They didn't seem trapped... but not exactly welcomed either. The buildings were as ruined as anything else she'd seen on other worlds, and strangely? Blocked off. The rubble wasn't scattered randomly, that was easy enough to see, but who or what had moved it, there was no way to tell.
As Ida stepped towards the buildings, leaving the chattering and shouting behind her, she thought she saw... something, move in the shadows, just out of sight. And there were noises too... things not coming from the people behind her. The fine hair along her arms rose as she struggled to push down the creeping feeling in her stomach. All her nerves on edge, Ida moved closer, all her sense open and on high alert.

MURIKABUSHI Dark Mirror Court, Senshi of Hunger (Basic)MOOD: “!!!!”ACTION: “Oh hey, someone I know!! …You coming with or not, person I just met?” As had been the case with Morpheus (and to a lesser extent Remarque), maybe not all the other Dark Mirror Senshi were exactly fun to meet. Granted, the situation sucked and Reiki could acknowledge that he was hardly being his best self, but his point remained valid. Logos still hadn’t done anything wrong, but honestly, how many of their Court had actually come here? For all they knew, it might’ve only been the two of them, with a whole metric ******** of other people from other factions.
“Listen, sis,” he told her, trying to be a little bit gentler, “the way I see it? There are a bunch of people here who have big teams with them, and only two of us. There might not be any other Dark Mirrors here, either. So, we either need to get a move on, find some allies before this turns into the Hunger Games or something, or possibly both, if we can……”
As he felt a bright, powerful aura coming near them, he trailed off and perked up. Not toward them, properly—she seemed to be heading toward the citadel itself, like Murikabushi had planned to do—but……still, she was near enough to them. Following the feeling, he looked around until his eyes landed on a familiar, petite figure in a purple hood, with glowing purple tattoos all up and down her arm.
“Speaking of allies,” he whispered to Logos, “that Eternal over there? I know her. She’s good people. Not hostile to us.” A quality he valued so much more after meeting Sailor Untitled Goose Game and getting attacked, then stalked to the ER, all because he’d wanted to help someone. “She’s powerful, too. Sticking with her would be safe, and give us a lot of backup against any Negaverse ******** who came to play.”
Turning back in Ida’s direction, he waved to her and called out, “Hey! Ida!” Only after taking a few steps toward the Eternal senshi did he glance back to Logos. “You coming or not? And if not, well…nice meeting you, look for me in the gayborhood when we get back home. Or don’t if you want; I’m not your boss.”

Illyria Order Guardian Cat
MOOD: Annoyed but intrigued ACTION: Sitting where she landed on a debris pile. Grooming and catching sounds of movement?
Well, this was one place that Illyria hadn't sought out a geocache from. Then again as the tiny feline looked around from the debris pile that she had landed on, it didn't seem as if geocaches were located here. Tutting softly about ill-timed departures without explicit consent given the tiny Mauvian made due with her situation and began to wash her paws. Her violet orbs took in the cornucopia of powered individuals and sighed. The plan had been seek out another hidden geocache and then find a place to settle down for a relaxing cat nap. But did the universe listen to what Illyria wanted?
The succinct answer to that question was a resounding no. Tucking her tail underneath her body had no effect on her displeasure but it hid the sign that she was agitated. The amount of individuals present was a little alarming but Illyria didn't feel like getting her paws (or even her body) trodden on if she were to leave her perch. Besides this debris pile looked just a little more interesting than the people. Her ears twitched back and forth as if catching sounds that no one else might have picked up on. Spinning around the feline glanced into the darkness beyond the pile of debris before staring intently. Was that movement? No, maybe a trick of the light. Illyria wasn't sure but she wanted to find out. But at the same time it wasn't wise to scamper off on her own.

TerebellumDeep Space Senshi of ResonanceMOOD: P A N I C R A G E ACTION: Calling her magic and backing away in A G O N Y as it backfires Terebellum's tail collided with something, shocking her and the thing it collided with. She turned, hand coming to sweep her tail under her skirts like an unruly child. An apology died in on her lips as she stared down at the agent on the floor below her. He blubbered something at her and she sneered. Look at the poor little thing, dripping Chaos. She could end it now, she could---
A larger aura flared almost immediately, its owner glaring at her while chastising his comrade. Then another, and a traitorous chaos senshi. It was the fifth addition to the group that made Tere's blood boil. The Chaos auras were already setting her on edge, but now they weren't even paying attention to her!
"You.... abominations!" she snarled, quickly crouching down to press a hand to the floor. "Resonance Amplification!" Terebellum felt the magic surge down her arm, a little too wild, a little too uncontrolled. No matter. She'd trap these people in the ground and end their miserable existences.
Except, the ground didn't start to do warp and vibrate. No. She couldn't hear the resonance here. It was too muddled it was too loud it was-- The magic rebounded off the ground and slammed back into her hand. Pure white agony shot through her arm and she recoiled with a shout. She hit the ground and scrambled backwards, craddling her now vibrating arm against her chest.
To borrow an Earth term: ******** ******** ******** ******** ******** class="quote">Quote: Terebellum attempted to use her magic, but it rebounded on her whoops

While the rest of the group seemed mainly focused inward, Ida's senses kept picking up little hints that they were not alone. A clattering here, a clicking there. Flitting shadows occasionally became solid, discernable figures that quickly vanished behind rubble and buildings. Meanwhile, Erytheia would quickly notice something familiar about the architecture here: while much larger in scale, the design motifs were a perfect match for the artifact that had been found on his Wonder. Overall, it looked like little sense would be made of the situation anytime soon. If anything, the level of understanding in the group was about to dramatically decrease. Pendour's soothing ocarina tune came to an end, but the music didn't stop. Instead, it started coming from a different source, and a different direction, carrying a different mood. It was jovial, joyful, full of pomp and circumstance, not unlike something one might hear at a parade. And it was coming closer. Seconds after Terebellum's magic threw her to the ground, an ancient, tattered, molding carpet unrolled out of the darkness from the direction of the cheerful tune, its edge licking at the tips of Murikabushi's shoes. While it had lost most of its color long ago, it would do for a red carpet. A set of buzzy, ancient, makeshift lights suddenly sprang to life in the distance it led to. In the courtyard ahead, it was possible to make out tables. Chairs. Makeshift decorations made from who-knows-what. There was a sign hung between pillars made out of a rusty piece of scrap metal, with the word "WELCOME!!!" scrawled into it. It was a party. They were all being invited to it, and not just by the environment -- now the group could make out figures excitedly waving them in. Quote: What a glorious day! After a brief conversation in the datastream, we have concluded that these organics' appearance heralds the passing of the trials! It has been decided that they must be greeted appropriately as honored guests, and given a proper welcome to Astraya! It is now possible for NPCs to appear in this thread. There will be a branch-off to a second thread soon as well.

Naeria Vanguard Cadet
MOOD: Calm and loving and sleepy ACTION: Leaning on AndreiyaNaeria didn't have a full concept of what was going on. It was getting very loud very quickly, so loud that her head was starting to spin. Kurma was gone. She didn't have to protect him, or worry about that right now, but in exchange, the humans were closing in again, getting angry again. What was it with the humans, anyway? Why did they always get so angry? Why was that woman yelling and waving her staff and doing something that looked like magic just because Tenoch had waved his hand in her direction? Naeria didn't know. She just knew that she was going to do what she always tended to do when she was nervous, and her best friend was around. She walked over to stand next to Andreiya, shoulder to shoulder. They'd kept each other alive before. They could do it again. That was when something shifted in her head. She felt fuzzy, first. Warm. Then, she felt sleepy. She leaned over onto Andreyia's shoulder, her eyes fluttering shut just as some lights flicked on in the distance.

XamiraOrder Guardian CatMOOD: Pumped ACTION:Looking for aid Xamira looked around her. She was in an unknown place. Being who she was she was slightly used to things like this. She had moved to Destiny City because she heard this was the hotspot of all things related to chaos. That was the main reason she was here. She patted around the area she was in and tried to look around. She also kept an eye on the others who was stuck here with her. After she saw all that she needed to see she then took her attention to the others with her. She saw senshi's and negas and oh my another guardian cat. She padded over to the other cat making sure not to get trampled by the humans that were about. "Um Hi"

AshOrder Guardian CatMOOD: Excited and Curious ACTION: Going to greet their hosts Ash had been meaning to go meet the other cat... she'd wanted to see who else was here, who they were, and maybe make a friend. She'd had the best intentions of doing that, before the music started up.
Grey ears perking from her blue hair, she stretched up on her toes to see what was happening. A carpet unrolled towards them and then lights sudden glowed and... was that figures? There were people besides themselves here? Thoroughly distracted, the mauvian's course was rerouted and she padded past the others, stepping right onto that old, worn out carpet with hardly a qualm. She'd so rarely gotten to visit another world, and this whole thing was very exciting.
"Hello!" She called as she lifted an arm to wave. "Did you folks bring us here? There was a strange light, and then we were just alone here and some guy went off to figure out what was going on."

Lysvi Velencian Cadet
MOOD: I love you man -- also maybe the party will deescalate things? ACTION: Brotherly love for YddagenThey did not like the way that squire was raising her voice. "We should definitely back up," was their conclusion, which was a perfectly reasonable one until the squire lashed out. If soaking them was lashing out anyway, they guessed. They didn't know what to do with the water flying through the air at all of them, and it wasn't like they could have really reacted before it landed on their body making them a little wetter than they would have preferred. It wasn't like they had a towel in space... But their thoughts of concern were gone in short order when they turned their head to look back at their brother once more. So this wasn't an ideal situation, but in all honesty, Lysvi could not think of anyone else that they would want standing by their side when they were stuck in a place that they didn't know. Their heart warmed. They studied Yddagen, expression softening as they offered, "You know, I really love you, Bro." Bro was an affectionate term on Earth in some contexts, they had learned. This was one of them. As their ears filled with soothing music, they added, "Together, we got this, right? And it seems like the humans are getting themselves under control, so we can probably stay calm..." Why was there a party, though? Their gaze shifted toward the party, slow and careful, brows lifting in curiosity. "Were we expected? They are waving us over -- maybe they understand what an awesome brother you are." Why did they feel so serene? Maybe the fighting would stop at least--

LourdesVenus SquireMOOD: ACTION: Interacting with Pendour and Kerberos Hang on... hang on... hang on, wait. Two of them were... were kissing? They should have felt distraught! Alone. Utterly unloved by everyone. They shuldn't be... wait did another say I really love you, bro? That wasn't... that wasn't right at all. That wasn't what her magic did. Or at least she'd never seen it do that before. And she'd wasted all her magic on that one attack. If she could call it that. Lourdes flashed an angry snarl at the smaller senshi who had allied himself with the aliens. "That's fine with me, Twinkle Toes. You align yourself with them, you're as good as a traitor to me." Words she knew she shouldn't be saying. Words born of anger and, more importantly, fear. Words she couldn't control and knew she would regret later. But for right now... for right now... her mind had slipped back into base survival. She kept reliving that night when chaos almost took her back over. When her beautiful pink and blue uniform reverted back to hideous brown and yellow. She remembered the way her gorgeous scepter turned to an ugly iron mace in her hands. And that would not be happening again. Not while he was still alive to stop it. And then Pendour stepped up and Lourdes' face all but crumbled. That wonderful knight from the tea party. She was... she was... defending them too? "Pendour, they're traitors," she whispered, her voice breaking as the magic of Pendour's ocarina took effect. Slowly, surely, her heart eased and the anger faded, leaving only raw, horrible fear. It took all the air out of her. All of the fire. She sunk to her knees and tried to steady her breathing and her hands. She would not cry. No matter how hot her eyes felt. She couldn't. She wouldn't. Not in front of the traitors. "They sold us out, Pendour. We lost... we lost people. How can you?" Her voice was weak in her ears and she hated it. But she felt so small now that her anger was gone. LogosDark Mirror SuperMOOD: Irritated ACTION: Talking with Murikabushi and now Ida A lot was happening. The senshi who insisted that he was so focused went from asking Logos if she wanted to be "lambs to the slaughter" to insisting that they followed a white moon senshi around. She physically recoiled at the name "sis" and allowed her expression to sour slightly. She'd hardly been able to formulate a response between his statements, and now she had to switch tracks to try and keep up. but she did her best, following his indication to the white moon senshi he was speaking about. She certainly felt powerful. That much was true. But what was she going to do with that power? And then the basic senshi was just leaving. He showed up to spout some nonsense about sleeping with aliens which seemed teribbly unsound given the situation, and now he was leaving? For a White Moon Senshi? And he came so highly recommended by Miss Acubens, too. She'd be having a word with the eternal about what happened. To ally yourself with a White Moon before a Dark Mirror... Even if Acubens had always told them to make alliances with the white moon, she had always insisted that the Court came first and to keep those alliances hidden from the negaverse. "Fine," she relented, if only to keep an eye on the clearly unfocused basic, and followed him towards Ida. "But we need to be less conspicuous. If the negaverse catches us fraternizing with the White Moon, we could be in trouble."

YmirDeep Space Senshi of SleetMOOD: Cautious. Confused. ACTION: Letting Surtur lead. Whether or not they could get their powers back, Ymir didn’t know. He had assumptions, but assumptions meant very little.
Power meant very little, too, in his experience. What good had it done him in the end, when he couldn’t even stop his uncle from forcing him into stasis? What good had it ever done him, when he had so little control over his life to begin with? Power had been wasted on him.
The same could not be said for Surtur, of course.
“The same as last time, I expect,” he said — low, not quite a whisper, but he didn’t raise his voice high enough to be heard beyond the two of them. “With time and experience. If it’s even possible now…”
There was tension brewing. More than before. More than what Ymir had experienced in that dark realm with the tar. There, everyone seemed to have a common enemy. Here, factions split into obvious groupings, and trust was hard to come by.
Ymir had no interest in those who reeked of Chaos. He had no interest in those whose first act was magic, either. They had no idea where they were, or what was in store for them here. They should conserve their energy.
Fortunately, their surroundings offered them a distraction, though not the sort Ymir favored.
Parties never ended well for him.
He did not yet release Surtur’s arm, though his grip changed — to seek comfort rather than to restrain.
“What do you think?” he asked, eyeing the distant, waving figures with suspicion.

SessrumnirKnight of JupiterMOOD: High alert and stressed like woah ACTION: Guarding Ephesus and Amarynthos with Alastor and responding to them Sessrumnir could feel the hair on the back of his neck prickle when it seemed as though there was an altercation going on between a Squire and most of the Velencians. They didn’t seem to be in range to endanger Ephesus or Amarynthos, but it was a good idea to keep an eye on them.
Others were breaking off into their own groups as well, but Sessrumnir was being cautious and staying in one place for as long as possible. At least until they needed to move.
The unrolling of a carpet and playing of a strange tune was next to catch his attention. The lights, welcome sign, decorations-- figures waving them in -- had Sessrumnir tensing once more.
He caught Alastor’s eye, a clear request for him to remain on guard.
In his opinion, the Velencians at least had one thing right: remaining in a group was a key survival tactic. The ones straying would get picked off. Which was why Sessrumnir had every intention of keeping those he was protecting close to him. EphesusPage of the MoonMOOD: Scared but intrigued ACTION: With Amarynthos, Alastor, and Sessrumnir Alastor had promised they’d be able to go home, so he nodded in agreement and stayed close to Amarynthos, while also trying to see what was going on around them. The sky was pretty, and he squeezed Amarynthos’ hand to let him know that he was listening.
He was just also distracted by… everyone else.
There were really tall people with pastel colored skin, and others with tails. Some weren’t getting along very well, and Ephesus flinched and closed his eyes when he heard people yelling at each other.
But then there was music--
“What is that?” he couldn’t help but ask as he opened his eyes again. He knew he should do exactly what Alastor and Sessrumnir had them do, but everyone else seemed to be going towards some kind of party that was set up. For them? But why? And were those people?
They were waving at them so... Ephesus did the only polite thing he could think of and lifted a shy hand to wave back.

LucastaWhite Moon MauvianMOOD: Curious. ACTION: Weaving through ankles and heading toward the party. Lucasta sighed heavily, then sighed again.
The last time she’d been involved with anything of this sort…
Well, now that she thought about it, she’d never been involved with anything of this sort, certainly nothing that resulted in her presence on an unidentifiable world, as far as she could remember. There’d been rescue missions and random events around Destiny City, but her duties were rarely, if ever, derailed by space shenanigans.
So… she sighed a third time.
There was much to be disappointed over. First, the absence of her bonded Senshi (though Lucasta could not say with certainty that this was truly disappointing, as long as it meant her Senshi was safe). Then, there seemed to be tempers flaring already, and they’d only just arrived, barely even had the chance to explore the place. That just wouldn’t do. Someone could get hurt — or worse, killed. Every death that wasn’t a Chaos death was a waste, in her opinion.
Lastly, there seemed to be a distinct lack of food.
Lucasta hadn’t yet had dinner.
But then: the fanfare and the welcome sign. There were tables in the distance, and figures waving. Lucasta did not necessarily trust that their surroundings or their apparent hosts were safe, but it seemed to her that one way to find answers (and perhaps food) would be to go where the activity was.
So she wove through ankles and, because she was a proper lady, followed the path of the red carpet that had so graciously been laid out for them.
