Mσяσѕє Medical Research Facility (MMRF) was once a remote pharmaceutical research and manufacturing plant. It was built on top of an older dust mine. For many decades it was a place people worked for a few months then went home, but eventually began to allow permanent residence after it grew to a size that made permanent habitation comfortable. It became its own municipality owned by Mσяσѕє Medical and was known as one of the healthiest places to live.
╔═════════════════════════════════════════════════▨✥▨═════════════════════════════════════════════════╗ The tablet in the female officer's hands chipped and she frowned slightly looking down at it. Her eyes moved across the screen, likely reading some sort of message that came in. "It seems three others will be joining you. Sasselia Argenia, Xanthe Shaw and Ylva Rosenberg." It didn't seem like the officer was going to explain why they were joining last minute. The military ran on a need-to-know basis. Soldiers didn't ask questions, they just followed orders. After the newcomers arrived and answering Rin's questions, the group were lead out to the snowmobiles. They would find packs stapped to each one with insulated tents for the cold, rations kits (10), kerosene lamps and thermopacks(10) that would keep them warm once activated.
As the group travelled across the frozen wasteland, those who had never been to Atlas before would find themselves in awe. Unlike with all the trees and mountains of Vale, they could see for miles. Packs of Sabyrs running in the distance and Megolaith lumbering along. Black specks in the sky that might be birds or might be Griffon. All too far away to pick up the group's aura. One thing was clear, reclaiming this land wasn't going to be easy.
As the sun was setting the group would find themselves unusually exhausted. Even though they didn't fight any Grimm and had been riding instead of walking, the freezing temperatures ate away at their aura. They couldn't go to sleep yet though. Finding a strand of trees, the group stopped for the night. Setting up camp in the deep snow was a struggle, and once it was complete someone needed to keep watch.
While everyone slumbered, Narx sat outside. The soft crunch of snow would alert him first. Between the trees, a Grimm emerged. If he had been paying attention in class he might recognize it as a Sabyrs. Then there was another...and another...

The trip was exhausting. They didn't even really have to do much, but the riding itself was a new thing and took a toll on the body. After they had setup camp in a small group of trees he found himself the odd man out. He had just finished his ration and was now sitting outside by a tree with his hammer beside him. Unlike others, his aura was strong and kept him plenty warm due to his reserves. Which is likely why he was picked. "Still wish I was sleeping..." he would say to himself when he noticed the sound of snow crunching. Was someone taking a leak? No, he heard more crunching sounds and finally noticed the grimm. It was cat like. One of the ones they studied, but to be honest, he hadn't paid much attention to as he never expected to be in Atlas. Big mistake.
"AYYYOOOOOOO!!! GRIMM ALERT!" he shouted as loud as he could. He switfly was up and behind the tree. The trees were all bare and there weren't too many of them to play around. He'd have to hold off best he could until the others woke. He'd give out a few more hollers to alert those still asleep. He would slowly back into the trees towards the tents.

Profile: Profile Weapon: Gravityflux (Glaive/shotgun/double axes) gaia_angelleft Action: pursuing gaia_angelright ~~~------~~~-----~~~------~~~~~~------~~~-----~~~------~~~ This place they were all going to was unknown. This Morose was something Sasselia had wished she had read back in the library in Beacon. Some books were left untouched at times, given her Eidetic memory, but this was a rare occasion she had wished to have actually put some eyes on. A shame. Some knowledge on the aspect of this could have been useful or providable. The plus side to all of this was the fact that seeing Atlas on a first look basis was a beauty to behold. She could have kept her eyes on such scenery as much as she were able, had none of them been on a mission. Once the land could be claimed, possibly... Used to warmer climate, aura was something she was thankful for possessing. Wearing the layers of clothing added that extra touch of relief, which made things more comfortable to enjoy everything around her. Such strangeness, considering all the wild grimm out and about, acting as if this was more of a peaceful drive through a preservation more than anything else. Saddening how reality had other plans in store to remind her otherwise. "I wish things were this peaceful more often..." That was never going to happen, so much as the grimm existed. Rin's earlier questions still remained in her mind as it were. Thus she had awaited until they reached heir destination, hopping off the vehicle, all while fixing her hair a little. When she had spotted Rin, she had approached the fox, once he was off he vehicle he was diving, smiling politely his way. "I-I am sorry I w-was unable to answer straightaway.. My fighting style is mid range, with air maneuverability, a-and tactical ..or first aid support. S-sorry for the delay.." Fleeing after her apology, Sasselia was feeling the tiredness kicking in, bringing her to a soft yawn, which she had tried to hide behind her gloves. Rather grateful for the camp to be prepared and set up, she had done all she was able to help (if she was allowed,) Had she been unable to help at all, she had spent as much time as she were able to stand keep a her observing all about. "So lovely in this night..." Her enhanced observancy to terrain helped for taking in the cold, but sadly she had also went to have a nap in order to rest up a little, hoping for the exhaustion to go for a little.
Her slumber could have went for the longest time until full rest, but the sound of Narx calling out for a grimm alert had her waking up with a startled gasp. "Wh-what...." Rubbing her eyes, she had quickly snagged her weapon, before running sleepishly out of the tent. The first thing she had taken notice of was Narx in the trees, snapping from her sleepish daze. Sabyrs!!! Sasselia remembered them well from class, only now seeing one of these for the first time ever " On my way!" Going through the snow, she remained at her own distance from the sabyrs, changing her glaive to duo-shotgun mode. Quickly loading her guns with a fire dust bullet in each, followed by regular bullets, she aimed forward towards the sabyrs, beginning to fire off shots at them. Taking careful aims as she could however, she began on timing herself, as each ricochet of the guns firing itself could cause her if she fired too quickly. "Quick! I'll distract them as best as I can! Keep going!"
█ *NAME ▬ Gravity Entrapment █ *AURA COLOR ▬ Royal Blue █ *DESCRIPTION Sasselia's semblance is a gravity and anti-gravity element by way of glyphs. She is able to flip the gravitational pull within the area of her glyphs to either lift things and allow them to float, or make things heavier, by way of making the gravitational pull increase in weight. It is a perfect semblance for trapping Grimm and enemies, though in order to make the glyphs, she must make physical contact with either her hand or her weapon, which allows her to channel her semblance through her bullets or glaive. When her glyphs are laid onto the battlefield, it takes one post for the glyph to be set: the glyphs white on first appearance. The glyph is activated the moment it turns dark blue in colour. Starting at level 0, she can make up to four glyphs, that are 5 meters (15ft) in diameter. Each level, the number of glyphs she can make, and set are increased but the sizes remain the same. Her glyphs are not invincible, as they can be taken down by humans a level or more stronger than her, or by those who exceed the 600-pound limit. The pressure of weight for each level is shown: - Level 0 - 150lb - Level 1 - 300lb - Level 2 - 450lb - Level 3 - 600lb
█ *LEVEL 0 ▬ (0-99 posts) The glyphs are a diameter 15ft wide.(5 meters)
Sasselia is able to lay out four traps that last for four posts, unless broken early on. There is a two post cool down once all her glyphs have been fired out. She cannot shoot out all glyphs in one go, but able to fire up to half the number of glyphs at a time.
The glyphs can either: Gravity: Bring down 150 lbs worth of pressure onto objects or enemies. (Cannot hold anyone or objects over 150 lbs) Anti-gravity: Lift objects, grimm, or people up to 15 meters up in the air within the circumference. When the semblance count ends, the person in the trap slowly descends near the end of the count. She is able to keep the glyphs apart from each other by up to 20 meters.
█ *DRAWBACKS ▬ Nerve paralysis kickback on a art of her body. It is a rigid type of paralysis that makes her immovable for 2 posts when it kicks in. This takes effect after every semblance usage for two posts. ▬ When using glyphs, she must use her weapon as a beacon, or fire a bullet with her semblance channeled onto it to help her point and aim her glyphs for summoning. ▬ The glyphs cannot be moved when created until level 3. ▬ She cannot move objects exceedingly over 600 pounds. ▬ Her glyphs can be neutralized or destroyed by any enemy exceeding 600 pounds, or by enemies one level above herself. --- Sasselia has to choose the effect on whether there is going to be gravity or antigravity set in the glyph before firing. ------- To break her glyphs, those above her current level can easily use their aura to break the glyph. Those on Sasselia's level or lower, it takes 2 posts of focusing aura to break the effects effects. Those with enhanced, or above average strength in skill have a more high resistance.
Greetings aside the team was immediately told to join another mission, it's not that Xanthe needed the rest but she had been looking forward to getting out of the cold for a bit. Perhaps this constant aura usage was good in the long term, she had been told to use her semblance more as part of her training perhaps this could just fall under that. Not that she had used her semblance more, but that was another issue. She kept the same supplies as the trip to Kingslock, more out of ease than any sort of forward planning and then joined Sass on the snowmobiles. She was keen to give it a go though before she started to work out how to actually go, she casually marked hers with an X before passing the knife to Ylva, there was just something about the act that resonated with her. She glanced around to make sure the rest of her team was there before gunning it, if there was one positive about Atlas it was that the barren snowy landscape offered very little by way of obstacles to smash into. The trip provided some time to reflect on Kinglock, not that there was much to think about, communication was key. Before she knew it they were there.
Xanthe helped with setting up the tents, Sass went off to talk to another member of the mission squad. "What was that about?" Having not heard his request to know their fighting styles from having too much fun piloting the machine. She climbed inside their tent in a desperate bid to get warm. One ration later, she was asleep, her arms wrapped around her spear so the tip didn't go through the side of the tent. She awoke with the sounds of shouting and was outside in time to see Sass blast the first of the grimm. Dog like creatures stalking between the trees, if she had studied more she might have known the name of them. An argument could be made that knowing the name of them didn't matter which she would happily had after the fight. "Dog, on your left!" She ran past Sass and stuck her spear into a monster that had been preparing to pounce, grazing it's side as it dodged away. "You keep shooting, I'll cover your back. Shout out if there's trouble." She thrust her weapon towards an approaching dog, catching it's side and tearing out a chunk of flesh as she withdrew the barbed edge, far from a fatal blow as the creature seemed to be partially frozen. It didn't seem wise to just leave Sass, she was making a target out of herself by shooting.

The desert native was pleased her human companion had taken the greeting so well, and as they were up, she merely shook herself of the snow. It was a rush to get on the strange machines, that was for sure."Thank you...I don't know how either...But, we shall try,"She said accepting the knife to mark the vehicle with her rune and giving it back to Xanthe, before they had to get on a mobile each and "drive" (in Ylva's case, try not to crash/run into anyone)."I'll have to answer that later,"the wolf thought with a sigh at the fox-boy's inquiry.
~~Timeskip to Morose~~
More akin with scorching sun and sands for miles, the freezing tundra was not ideal when combined with learning to drive this strange machine, she had no time to think of anything else; other than noting the helpfulness of the thermal clothing they'd been given before the Fort. She had not seen the Grimm in the distance, but heard them."That will be trouble later,"she thought for certain. Being no stranger to Grimm in the wilds, tundras or sands, they were all the same to her. It would be evening or close to it by the time they'd make it to Morose and would waste no time (after almost crashing) to help set up tents and a fire if possible. Looking to Xanthe as Sass walked off, she had guessed."Fox asked of fighting styles,"She answered simply before joining the shark faunus in tent."We should keep alert,"Ylva thought and she did just that, ears twitching as she closed her eyes to meditate, only getting a soup later on.
She had not realized she had drifted until there was a shout. Even then, she would grab Ulv Lofte as well as her bag of dust. Biting her cheek to keep from activating her semblance early, she would go out to join her comrades. But she would not be one to do ranged/long-ranged battle, no. She was going to the front; as her faunus nocturnal vision allowed her to see at the enemy. Slashing Ulv Lofte at the sabertooth feline (the smallest roughly 6'5" head to ground)."Heads up,"She warned as she was met with one at this time to challenge her trying to get it away from the rest as best she could. Not caring for her goggles, and her focus on the one before her as other people took on others around her, those within ten feet of her would be blinded by said sienna light."This is not good,"Ylva thought as she would utilize her skill in blind fighting, her ears twitching like crazy as she would strike at the dazed tiger Grimm; her hearing painting her the picture she needed of her surroundings.

It is neither subtle nor untraceable as it would leave a black ring on the ground from where Ylva was. This flash bomb semblance is meant to leave those within range (including Ylva) temporarily blinded and momentarily disoriented. At each the distance with which the blinding light effects increases. *LEVEL 0 ▬ The blindness will only last for a max of two posts and in a radius of close-range (about 10 feet from her person).
Traversing through the snow on these vehicles awakened memories of not long ago for him. The clear line of sight for miles had contrasted so much from what he had been experiencing in Vale. Where you would need to exit the walls in Vale to see Grimm at all, here they were out in the open and numerous to the eye. It reminded him of why he had been confined to certain regions around their tribe, and how it had been so easy to lose much of his family to the Grimm. Thankfully, these were too far away to cause any harm or detect them for the time being. He sincerely hoped things stayed so. Having the almost serene peace of the land, despite the threatening shapes in the distance, allowed Rin to relax a bit and settle a bit more into piloting the snowmobile. He was getting the hang of it the longer they rode, and by the time the sun was setting he felt confident enough to pilot this thing; stunt or dare-devil tricks were out of the question for now. Even though no one had responded to him on the ride that he had heard of, he did not entirely mind it. It left him in a state of peace and tranquility once he was fully comfortable with piloting the vehicle. Unlike some of the others, Rin was not too burdened nor his aura too depleted. His own resistance to cold and having lived in such environments had allowed him to conserve much of his aura and energy. Though he was still tired just on the fact that they had been riding for quite some time, and while the scenery was pretty, it was mentally tiring. His lazy nature was not helpful in that regard either; as they settled he would begin to take things down from the vehicle and lazily scout for a good spot to set up.
During such time, he would be approached by a blue haired maiden of similar height to himself. She would apologize for not being able to answer straightaway, and list off a rather...lengthy and unique combat style. Rin had little clue how it all fit together, but he did his best to try to keep it in mind. Before he could even comment on it, however, she was already gone. 'That was...swift. At least someone heard me though,' Rin would think to himself. If desired, Rin would try to help the others in at least guiding them how to set up their tents/camp since he had experience in this environment. Once done with at least the guidelines, he would go to work on setting up his own small one; glad it was already an insulated tent so that meant less work for him. He kept the dust that he had attached to the vehicle on it during this, however, in case of an emergency occurring. Eating one of his rations and changing clothes, he would wrap himself up tight in warm sheets before drifting off to sleep as Narx was the one to lose the draw and need to keep watch. Back in his homeland, Rin would have dreams of playing in the snow with friends from his childhood. Rin was slowly disturbed in his sleep by shouts and the sound of battle from the outside. His dream went from the happy playing of Freikkre tribe children to being chased by Grimm, and witnessing the death of his sister and parents. He would awake bolting upright to a sitting position, heart racing and bleary eyed as his faculties struggled to awaken. At first, he wasn't aware that the shouts and sound were real; thinking them residuals from his dream. But as his senses thawed, he would realize all was not right and that they were under attack! Primarily, it was the sound of gunshots that really got him up to his feet as it did not sound too far away from where he was sleeping. Stumbling to his feet, the arctic fox faunus would unsteadily go to the flap of the tent to unseal it and peak outside. His blood ran cold when he saw what was happening; Sabyrs were attacking! Ducking back inside, he would frantically open Wakana's case; messing up and costing seconds cause of his panic before he got it open. 'I knew things were going too well,' he worried to himself as Wakana was in violin form. Rushing out of the tent, he would see people were already fighting and in the mix of things. "They're Sabyrs! Not too strong on their own, but they are quick, have a nasty bite, and usually travel in large numbers to overwhelm you!" Rin would yell out in the hopes it would help the others. He would run to his snowmobile, and as he did so begin to "pull apart" his violin at a casual glance as he was in truth opening it up into bow form. During this he would notice a flash of light from his peripheral, but he was well away from that immediate area and focused momentarily on reaching his destination. His goal was to get there to have his vehicle as a backup in case they went for him, and to have some distance from the others so once his bow was set he could start providing ranged support. Wanting to provide some support in the interim, Rin would look towards the others to see who was in danger once he reached his snowmobile. Should a Grimm seem ready to attack and take someone unawares, Rin would create a shower of sparks right in front of it to act as a distraction/daze the Grimm potentially and alert his ally to the threat. That was all he could do for the time being, and unfortunately he would only be able to do it for one person for now.

Danaë was not sleeping well. How long had it been since she slept alone? She hated this, absolutely and truly. Maybe one of the others could take watch tomorrow night, and they could cuddle. In her sleep, she heard Narx. She would rose a little. Narx wasn't here, it meant that there was a threat. She would grab both of her weapons, as they stayed close to her on the bed. Her hair, was a total mess. She would come outside of the tent, and see the mess that was in front of them. One thing that made Danaë different than other faunus was her ability to see perfectly in both light and darkness. She saw her allies starting to fire, a shot gun, hurting her ears.
The owl faunus would take up into the sky. Soaring in the cold sky, her aura the only thing that kept her from freezing. She would look down, using her enhanced eyes to see how many there were.
╔═════════════════════════════════════════════════▨✥▨═════════════════════════════════════════════════╗ Narx Six Sabyrs formed an arch in front Narx, flanking him from either side while another approached from the front. For every step he took back, they stepped forward. One at a time, they would lunge forward and then jump back as if testing him. And they were fast. Narx was going to have a hard time hitting them with his large war hammer. Help would come in the form of a shotgun blast, as one of the bests and a nearby tree were suddenly set on fire. The Sabyr crumbled a second later, turning into ash, while the fire from the tree provided an eerie light. As if it was some sort of signal, the other five lunged forward.
Ylva The two Sabyrs near Ylva yowled after she activated her semblance, either in frustration or in pain. Blinded, the creatures weren't completely helpless as they were drawn to her aura. They at least knew what general direction to swipe their claws and snap their maws, but the actions were more a threat display than anything else. They did not have the talent Ylva did for fighting blind. (Feel free to post Ylva finishing off the two blinded Sabyrs)
Sass & Xanthe Sass hit one of the Sabyrs advancing on Narx, but she quickly had problems of her own. Luckily Xanthe ran to help. The first Sabyr quickly jumped out of the way of her spear. The creatures were surprisingly nimble compared to what they faced in Vale. The Saybr gave a low growl as it prepared to pounce when suddenly a shower of sparks rained down in front of it. Distracted by Rin's semblance, Xanthe was able to catch it take a chunk of out it. Sass was able to finish it off her shotgun, but 3 more were coming for them. (Xanthe may kill one and Sass two)
Rin Over by the vehicles, Rin was able to help out Sasselia and Xanthe with his semblance, allowing the shark Faunus to get a shot in on one of the Saybrs. He wasn't to be ignored by the pack though, as a soft crunch of snow to his left alerted him to an approaching Grimm. As soon as he looked towards it, it would realize it had been spotted and lunge forward.
Danae From the sky, Danae was able to see the pack and her missions members among the trees and camp. Narx appeared to be in the worse position. Even with Sass's help, he was facing off against five Saybrs working together. Rin, being the newest student and the least experience in fighting was by himself while one creature talked towards him. With a flash of blinding light, Ylva seemed to be holding her own against two, while Sass and Xanthe worked together to fend off another small group.

Narx was fortunately saved by a fiery shotgun blast from what sounded like Sass off in the distance. There were just so many of them right on his tail though. "Damn it! HEEELLP!?" shouted as he jumped behind another tree as the five Sabyrs lunged at him. He would quickly turn around and use his hammer as a shield. He knew he was weak against agility with his hefty hammer. There was no way he could defeat them without using one of his shockwave attacks and those were just so aura costly that he didn't want to waste time. He'd try to use the handle and hammer head to block any swipes or bites that came his way. But ultimately he needed to tactfully retreat until the others could help pick off the Sabyrs.
"Ayoo over here Kitties! he taunted as he slowly backed his way to camp, blocking any attacks that came his way. He tried to back into trees to prevent them from getting a full circle around him. It was the best he could do when overwhelmed by such numbers. He had finally made it back to the line of tents and others. Hopefully they'd be able to take the Sabyrs out or break them up.
Profile: Profile Weapon: Gravityflux (Glaive/shotgun/double axes) gaia_angelleft Action: pursuing gaia_angelright ~~~------~~~-----~~~------~~~~~~------~~~-----~~~------~~~ As much as the end goal was to help Narx across the trees, despite the air being clear, shotguns were not her specialty in firing. In fact, the ricochet was tough on the wrists, but the efforts were there. To her relief, she had managed to strike one down with the shots alone, the flames of the disintegrating sabyr being a beacon in between the darkness and light. There were a lot more than she had bargained for however, but it would seem the goat man was managing to get a pathway going along the trees. Prepared to shoot more for good measure, she was unaware of the sabyrs coming in their own direction, the arriving attack of Xanthe saving her from facing the fangs of a beast upon her herself. "Th-thanks!" Then hearing Ren behind them all, the fox faunus had confirmed information for them all, the gears in her mind tuning up for strategy. She focused her attention to Xanthe once more, who told her to keep on shooting, just as the sabyr she tried to fend off had managed to make it away from the shark's spear. "Right!" Just as she was about to fire however, Sass was only received with a click. oh no... From the firing to assist Narx, she needed to reload. "Please cover! I must reload!"
The only flaw to her weapon... The needing to reload manually. Shifting the bullets from her belt, Sass reloaded as swift as she could, all while the grimm near them had distracted by.. Sparks? It was hard to tell exactly, since she was reloading the weapon up, and keeping alert around them. Choosing regular shells this time, she had to take a moment to situate herself, sending both shotguns to snap up with a loud quick once finished, just in time to melee hit the sabyr with the barrel end to back Xanthe up in return for earlier. Looking for Ylva then, she had witnessed their teammate taking out two on her own. Prepared to ask Xanthe their next objective, there seemed to be no time, given the three heading their way. What of their companions near them? Above, Sass could just see Danae in the sky, just as much as hear for Narx in the trees still. As for Rin, she tried to turn her head over the shoulder from the direction of the voice earlier, only to see he was about to have company of their own. "W-well isn't this a predicament," she softly whispered, pointing her shotgun towards the ground in front of them. Concentrating her aura, from her gun to the ground, a glyph appeared with them just outside it's circle, before pointing another one towards the direction of Rin, as far as she could go with the 2nd glyph. "I-I set a heavy trap before us. Tr-try not to step on it!" Saying this to Xanthe, she tried to shout in Rin's Direction. "If you need to gain air, please use that glyph!! It'll help you float up!!!"

Xanthe Shaw
Luckily the heads up from Ylva was enough of a warning for Xanthe to look away from the flash, she wasn't about to be blinded by the same trick twice in one day. Though a few of the sabyrs around them hadn't been as smart and were now staggering around slightly bewildered that their vision consisted of nothing but black spots. Just because she could emphasise didn't mean she wasn't happy to stab one or two in the face while they were weakened. Instead of rushing forward however she stood guard over her friend, because while a few had been stunned by the light, a good number had not. She kept her eyes on the grimm that were prowling beyond her reach as one in the corner of her vision went to lunge on Sass, she sucked in cold air as she took a step forwards into it's path then used the momentum of the beast's attack combined with a solid thrust to pierce it's bone faceplate and ram her spear into it's brain. A twist and a flick saw what remained of the beast scatter to the side without hitting her. Probably an unnecessary flourish but it beat being covered in ash. A heavy thunk from behind her alerted her to the fact that this probably wasn't the time for flourishes and indeed they were still up to their neck in it. "Thanks for the save." She took a defensive stance again as she scanned the area.
She found Ylva pretty quickly again, the from there looked for the others as Sass kept the wolves at bay. "Ylva! The lad." Xanthe was a little annoyed with herself for not asking the male fox his name earlier, she had been having way too much fun on the snow mobiles and been too tired after arriving at the camp. The lad would have to suffice for now. She did include a point towards his general direction as to help with who she meant. Narx seemed to be heading in their direction, not that she knew his name either, but luckily she didn't have a need to shout it out. "Nice." Xanthe was well aware of the nightmare of being heavy, unable to move due to an unforeseen weight. She wondered what was worse, Sass's trap or her semblance. She jumped back to avoid a claw swipe and counted with the flat of the blade, raising the tip suddenly intent on killing another grimm but it jumped away before she could drive the point in. "Can you get one under his pack?" She motioned towards the approaching Narx in the the hopes of slowing the group before they were overwhelmed.
Rin would find the perfect, or at least suitably effective, moment to use his semblance. Seeing one ready to pounce one of the girls in their group, he would activate a shower of sparks to surprise the beat in order for her to be able to attack it. Satisfied with the results, and having finished getting Wakana into bowform, he was about to provide more impactful cover for the others when he heard the soft crunch of snow to his left. Hoping it was just debris or something of that nature, his eyes would turn to the source to see a Sabyr had managed to slip by everyone and was headed for him. As soon as his eyes turned to the beast and realization crossed them, the Sabyr knew it had been seen and lunged for him. Doubting he could stop its attack, even if he raised his bow, Rin would dive towards the front of the snowmobile; having been to the left of it. He was unsure if he would be fast enough to avoid the beast by remaining standing and moving, so he went for the fastest movement he could think of; even if it left him prone on his stomach in the snow. Not the best position to be in but he barely had time to think right now. 'This has only saved me for but a moment, I need something to tip this in my favor,' he rationalized to himself. Remembering a trap he had set earlier on, should the grimm have crashed against or landed near the side of the snowmobile, Rin would touch the vehicle with his right hand to impart his aura into it in order to active the hard-light(cyan) dust he had strapped onto that side of it. He would have a hard-light spike protrude from the vehicle, hopefully directly into the Grimm as he scrambled to his feet to try and get into a firing position with his bow. There was no way he had enough time to switch its form again. During this, he would hear the one person who had answered him before yell about using a glyph to float. He could make it out now, as an option if he should need it. Or perhaps to use against the Grimm. Should he manage to get to such a position, he would fire an aura arrow into the creature. Assuming he had been able to avoid its grasp until now, at least.

For that brief flash that had engulfed the 10-feet around her, she was sure she was not the only one that used their other senses when sight is gone. Rolling in its dust as to cover her scent before moving on. Thinking fast, she would move out of the way of the snapping jaws and claws before swinging with Ulv Lofte's blades at the first to catch its throat when it went to pounce her. Silent and swift were her steps to go around and catch the other from behind as it tried to look for her. Sight was slow to return, but the she-wolf was used to using her ears. The sounds of battle around her was deafening but, she did hear one familiar voice; Xanthe."Which one?!"She asked as she looked from the direction of Narx and Rin before cursing and going towards the dark-haired boy had been."Damn Grimm,"the wolf thought with a growl; praying her comrades would be safe. She would be ready with Ulv Lofte to swing at and battle with any Grimm Cat that decided to intervene...

╔═════════════════════════════════════════════════▨✥▨═════════════════════════════════════════════════╗ The two Sabyrs in front of Sass were quickly flatted by her semblance. Their legs buckled and they collapsed with a yelp. Shortly after they disintegrated into ash.
Rin would hear a yelp as his hard light attack successfully pierced the side of the Sabyr. The noise would make it easy for Ylva to locate the beast. By the time he made it Sass's glyph, he would witness her finish off his attacker. He could use the floating glyph for something else though, as without aid Narx's battle was becoming increasingly desperate. Leaping forward, one of the Sabyr's managed to get their fangs locked around his hammer arm. The others took advantage by piling on and bitting at his other arm and feet.
While Danae was busy watching what was happening below, something above was watching Danae. A lone Baby Ravager crashed into her from above, locking its tiny teeth around her leg.
