Personality:

Confident - She is a self start with good motivation. Carries herself with an air of dignity and doesn't put up with crap if she can help it.
Blunt - She tells it like it is consistantly. She is also very loyal.
Capable - Having had to do everything on your own makes your skills get better quickly.
Conniving - when pushed she can put her mind to work to make your life miserable if you deserve it. She is quite intelligent but not mean until driven to it.
Quiet - Prefers books over people usually but latches onto close friends

History: Zyura was born to parents were were in a word rather useless. She has had to work hard for what she has from day one and is thus eager to improve herself. She ran away from home earlier than recommended and has been striving to thrive ever since. She is finally getting to a point where she can choose a profession and has chosen to study magic for the prestige and never being helpless in a situation again. She grew up with her friend Syaa close by, sometimes staying with him and his family. He is her best friend and like her a non typical hybrid. She thought that when they grew up their friendship might grow into more but fate had other ideas.

Class Choice
After much thought on the process Zyura felt very good about her decision to become a four elements monk. She had studied as much as she could and she had been able to find a teacher. Now it would be further hard work to better herself but she was not afraid. She was secure with her support system and this was all for the good. She would be able to wield actual magic one day and would no longer be defenseless. She was not the best physical fighter compared to a lot of people but she had a decently powerful mind when she put herself too it. She had been told she had a good strong heart too and that at least counted for something. She was eager to dig her teeth into the material and practice and continued to drag her books around with her everywhere, one would think that that alone would make her stronger. She smiled at the thought and patted her book hoard. They were like old friends and she would have to get a place one day specifically to hold them all, she could never bring herself to sell or give them away. They were all hers. Maybe she should have been a librarian. Now that would have been funny. She probably wouldn't have let anyone check out the precious tombs. They would have to do all their reading in situ. Zyura laughed to herself, on her way to a street cafe to read again. Usually her server shook his head bemusedly, brought her her favorite beverage, coffee with cream and asked her exactly how many times she had read the books and how many times more she would read the exact same books. To which she replied, at least once more for sure and grinned spicily up at him.
