This is a text-based experience, just for fun, not heavy role playing or stressful winning/losing although I will offer small prizes to each adventurer, and slightly bigger prizes to adventurers who complete a quest!
Your first post will tell me who your character is.
You can use your own user name and avatar, or get as fanciful and detailed as you like. This will be a fantasy adventure, so come prepared to meet challenges, find treasures, and have fun!
Who are you, adventurer? (you can use your avatar's name or you can choose a different name) Optional: add details like what you look like and skills and stuff you have (including magic). Just be aware that what you add here is totally optional and may have limited impact on the game. This is just for light fun. Optional: Add a token for your character. It should be no larger than 100x100 (I may make one using your current avatar if you don't make one). You can also choose a smaller image from a Gaia item, like a companion.
Examples:
Quote:
I am JoyRose.
This is enough. Just roll a d8 and we'll start off!
Quote:
I am Leaf Whisper, the elven mage. I am about the same height as a human with long blond hair tied up in complex braids, a sturdy cloak, a bow and arrows, and an ability to make fire with my magic. I wander a fantasy realm looking for adventure, innocents to save, and treasure to acquire to my greedy soul's content. I have a particular hatred of water.
You can get as elaborate as you like. Have fun!
The Adventure Begins!
You are in the Central City where all adventures in Weldro begin, because roads lead out of it in all directions. So you wander into Tempting Tavern to see what’s new on the bulletin board.
The Arch Wizard Archibald has posted a notice there offering rewards for the following ingredients for a potion he is making:
Fresh Honey Musk Ox Fur Oil of Wild Oregano Seven Morning Glory Blossoms Three Pegasus Tail Hairs Two Magpie Feathers
In which area would you like to go looking first? You may choose, or let a d8 choose for you.
1 Terrible Tundra to the North 2 Chantilly Faire to the North-East 3 Horror Mountain to the East 4 Glory Garden to the South-East 5 Strawberry Fields to the South 6 Roiling River to the South-West 7 Fantastic Forest to the West 8 Kaolin Keep to the North-West
If you get confused, feel free to ask me questions to clarify. The idea here is for us to have fun!
Uses power of magic, natures' magic to help her friends, and herself, for defense, or to make healing potions, more of a healer ^.^ heart
Height~ 5ft 6 weight average, very strong, has a familier, a clever little fox hehe, he helps her, sniff out trouble, or new friends =) friendly, but wise , can be trusted biggrin has her own bag of tricks xd
A few days ago Darkerdemons (Dark) was a dragon. For some strange reason their menacing horns and long reptilian tail have been replaced with soft fuzzy bunny ears and a pom-pom puff. Must be affected by some sort of Easter jinx. On the plus side, Dark is less likely to scare all the animals away.
The former dragon is currently striding along the road that leads to Chantilly Faire.
Traveling into the rising sun, the quiet road seems permeated with a sense of foreboding. Even the bright blue sky above can't eradicate the shadows of the forest to either side as trees crowd the road. Off to the north you hear a sound like the gnashing of teeth and ripping of flesh. Something is feasting, and it's not feasting on you. Are you a hunter? Or do you continue down the road? Or do you venture to the south of the road where the forest seems like it is thinning out a bit. You can roll a d6 to see if you notice the foot path leading in that direction (you see it if you roll more than 1 or 2).

I venture South of the road, where the forest sems to be thinning out, =) ok I roll the 6sided die ^^ not much of a hunter xd
oops , *hopes the other direction will not be too dangerous * she thinks!

Humming a dragony song in his new bunny suit, Drake strides along the road with the confidence born of many successful encounters with others. A cold wind blows from the north, ruffling his tail. From the south something growls a challenge, but is it aimed at the wind or at Drake? And what will Drake do next: turn to face into the wind, turn to face the challenger, or continue on the road to Chantilly Faire?

Flora and her little fox wander off the road into a trackless wilderness where the trees gradually thin out and the land slopes down to a small river. The fox seems unafraid of the water, sure swimming across would be no problem. Or of course, you could turn back toward the mountain to follow the river to its source, or swim downstream.

*Flora takes her chances, and decides to walk around, turn back* , a river is not a good place to swim in lol the rapids eek my foxes will follow, they alert me of strangers, danger ^^ funny enough, her pet does scout across the river, she keeps walking though, she'd meet it smile

Dark pauses on the road, cocking their head and listening intently. He glances up the road towards Chantilly Faire. The former dragon hoped to find some cure for bunny-ism quickly; however, he hated running from a challenge. Dark steps off the road, choosing to investigate the challenger.

Faine had always been an adventurer at heart, yearning to see the endless skies and explore the open seas. So, when the Arch Wizard posted his quest, they immediately took the opportunity to test their mettle in the wilds.
Appearance: Faine is a wolf-beastman with red eyes and long, white hair with blackened ends. Strange markings adorn their face, which is usually covered by either a blindfold or a mask. They are quite tall and sturdily built. Skills: Relying more on their physical ability than any magic, Faine has enhanced speed, strength, smelling, and hearing. As a close-combatant, they tend to improvise with weapony and use the environment to their benefit. Still, they carry around a simple spellbook for "lifestyle magic" and to help identify any needed herbs. Personality: A bit impulsive, Faine is the type to speak and act before they think. This has resulted in quite a few fights--but they are generally quite accepting of others. The only thing more important to them than the call of adventure is the call of their stomach--Faine is a great cook and an even better eater!
They gather the needed supplies before heading out of Central City to...the Fantastic Forest.
