Darkerdemons JoyRose Mama Noezal nods in acknowledgement as he leaves. Once in the open air, bustling with busy folk, Dark soon realizes that anything and everything is on sale here at Chantilly Faire. Roll a d6 to see what of the items he remembers from the list he sees first for sale: 1 - Fresh Honey 2 - Musk Ox Fur 3 - Oil of Wild Oregano 4 - Morning Glory Blossoms 5 - Pegasus Tail Hairs 6 - Magpie Feathers Something shimmers in the breeze and catches Dark’s attention as he passes a stall. He steps back, searching the items on display for what caught his eye. His gaze settles on the platinum strands the vendor has elegantly entwined in their hair. Several slim rectangular boxes on the table also contain the platinum strands. “Hello. Are those Pegasus Tail Hairs by any chance?” Dark inquires. The lovely elf tosses her sparkling braids to catch the sunlight and smiles. "Yes they are. And so worth the price!" However, the price she quotes is more than the bunny has in his pocket.

JoyRose Watching their friend slump unconscious in Faine's arms, their eyes widened in surprise, then slowly narrowed in anger, glancing at each other for support, eventually having come to the same conclusion as Faine, that two trolls could best one small, if cunning, beastman. Edit: to draw Ishnia here if you still want to play. No pressure, just fun! Faine smirked as they watched the trolls begin to get serious. Fights were only fun if both sides were into it, afterall. Without waiting for either troll to act first, Faine darted towards the closer one, claws extended.
ooc: haha, no worries! saved me the time to find it myself! and ty kindly for the gift

The trolls started forward to meet Faine's charge. Roll a d6: 1 = Faine's claws swipe empty air while the closer troll lands a solid thwack on our hero, leaving an injury (but not to worry too much, as you can take up to three injuries before passing out). 2 = Faine's claws scratch the troll, but the troll fights back, injuring our hero (see above). 3 = Faine misses and so does the troll. 4 = Faine's claws sink into the troll, who tries to back away but it's hard with claws stuck in you. The other troll approaches. 5 = Faine notices a newcomer behind the trolls trying to bite the one further from Faine. The troll misses while Faine is distracted. 6 = Faine's claws land a telling blow on the troll, and they both bound off into the forest as fast as they can to escape.

JoyRose Darkerdemons Gaia ate my quote notice and renamed me. blaugh Wish there was an easy way to mass quote users. BetterGaia extension has an option in the forums, but if I remember correctly, it doesn’t work in guilds. I’m good with whatever you end up deciding. Would love to finish the activity in the games subforum. I'm SURE that was my typo. I'm so sorry. But glad you're continuing with us! So everyone seems ok with just continuing on for now, and maybe starting a new adventure in the June event. That said, prizes are going out for "up to this point" and I'll "unlink" the steps up to the last one taken. Yay sounds fun thanks Joy heart good morning ^^

JoyRose Esme's path takes her into the Fantastic Forest, where she will meet who know what fantastic creatures? Esme stumbles and looks to see a tree root, large and gnarled, responsible for her fall. She curses aloud and swings her foot back, preparining to kick the tree. She hears rustling and the roots are gone. Confused, Esme looks up to find an old tree ent smiling at her. He introduces himself as Henri and apologizes for tripping her. He goes on to say he was reaching for a drink at an underground spring. He tells her he has been searching for his friend, Jacques, a wood sprite. Jacques had kept Henri company for hundreds of years and without him, Henri felt bereft. Esme promised to walk with Henri but, she could not see wood sprites. Henri told her Jacques would appear once he saw Henri. A gnome saw him bathing in a pond near it’s home and carried him off. Henri chased after them but, the gnome traveled underground and Henri didn’t know where they went. Esme felt a breeze and looked at the ent’s lower branches. There, sitting cross-legged and smiling from ear to ear, was a magnanimous wood sprite. The two friends celebrated their reunion and when the gnome popped out from behind a mushroom, Henri tried to crush him with a familiar root foot. Henri chased after the gnome as the wood sprite held onto his branch. Esme pondered which direction she would take next. @ Joy: you edited next to my name 1-3 ~4, meaning you fou found my journies to the south, northeast and northwest, right? So long as I visit a location and talk about my travels, I collect an item?

Without counting, Dark knows he doesn’t carry that much currency around with him. “If someone was looking to trade for the tail hairs, what kind of items would you accept?”

JoyRose Terrance_Nicolas_Bogard Terry thought, "Well that time I hit him, but he still chooses to ignore me." Then Terry decides to try and bite the troll on the leg to get his attention. Roll a d4. If you roll a 1, you stumbled on a rock, falling flat on your face, and he still doesn't even seem to notice, but now you have one injury. If you roll a 2, you stumbled, injuring yourself, but he hears you and turns to you, a little startled. If you roll 3, you bite a mighty bite, but did so little damage the troll ignores it, continuing to advance on his original quarry, dragging you with him. On a 4 you hurt him and he turns to face this new opponent. Terry succeeded in biting the troll, but still he ignored it and now Terry was being dragged someplace.

Ishnia ["Faine's claws swipe empty air while the closer troll lands a solid thwack on our hero, leaving an injury (but not to worry too much, as you can take up to three injuries before passing out)."] (faine i stg...)
More embarrassed than injured, Faine jumped back, clutching at her wound.
(OOC: My apologies - work got kinda crazy these past couple of weeks and I'm a bit behind on things) The closer troll roars in triumph and approaches for another attack. If Faine runs away, roll a d4: 1 = Faine slips and falls, taking another injury from the charging troll. 2-4 = Faine runs away successfully, eluding the trolls, leaving them far behind. If Faine stays to fight, roll a d6: 1 = Faine's claws swipe empty air while the closer troll lands a solid thwack on our hero, leaving an injury (but not to worry too much, as you can take up to three injuries before passing out). 2 = Faine's claws scratch the troll, but the troll fights back, injuring our hero (see above). 3 = Faine misses and so does the troll. 4 = Faine's claws sink into the troll, who tries to back away but it's hard with claws stuck in you. One troll has viciously clubbed their opponent, who retreated and clutched her wound.

Esme collected her second item: Morning Glory blossoms (the only other items I saw her collect were strawberries, although those are not actually on the Archwizard's list, but who doesn't like strawberries? (to be edited: rolled a four) Faine's claws sink into the troll, who tries to back away but it's hard with claws stuck in you. The other troll approaches. Using the troll's backwards momentum against them, Faine angles their body, using it as a shield against the approaching troll.
