Ishnia JoyRose (OOC: My apologies - work got kinda crazy these past couple of weeks and I'm a bit behind on things) The closer troll roars in triumph and approaches for another attack. If Faine runs away, roll a d4: 1 = Faine slips and falls, taking another injury from the charging troll. 2-4 = Faine runs away successfully, eluding the trolls, leaving them far behind. If Faine stays to fight, roll a d6: 1 = Faine's claws swipe empty air while the closer troll lands a solid thwack on our hero, leaving an injury (but not to worry too much, as you can take up to three injuries before passing out). 2 = Faine's claws scratch the troll, but the troll fights back, injuring our hero (see above). 3 = Faine misses and so does the troll. 4 = Faine's claws sink into the troll, who tries to back away but it's hard with claws stuck in you. The other troll approaches. 5 = Faine notices a newcomer behind the trolls trying to bite the one further from Faine. The troll misses while Faine is distracted. 6 = Faine's claws land a telling blow on the troll, and they both bound off into the forest as fast as they can to escape. (no worries, take your time! real life should always come first!) Never one to back away from the fight, Faine readies their next attack. (to be edited: rolled a four) Faine's claws sink into the troll, who tries to back away but it's hard with claws stuck in you. The other troll approaches. Using the troll's backwards momentum against them, Faine angles their body, using it as a shield against the approaching troll.
Faine successfully uses the troll beneath their claws to pin the other troll against a tree. So now one troll is wrapped up in rope, squirming ineffectively a little way off, and Faine has two trolls struggling mightily but ineffectively to escape being pinned against a tree. What is Faine's next move?

What is Faine's next move? They take a brief moment to breathe, clearing their head from the adrenaline from the fight. While always eager to fight, they were never too fond of killing. They decided to better restrain the trolls, so that they wouldn't cause trouble for any other unsuspecting travelers. And while they were at it, might as well take a quick peek into their pockets, to see if there was anything of value to nab. More as payment for their troubles rather than, uh, robbery, yes?

JoyRose Terrance_Nicolas_Bogard JoyRose Terrance_Nicolas_Bogard Terry thought, "Well that time I hit him, but he still chooses to ignore me." Then Terry decides to try and bite the troll on the leg to get his attention. Roll a d4. If you roll a 1, you stumbled on a rock, falling flat on your face, and he still doesn't even seem to notice, but now you have one injury. If you roll a 2, you stumbled, injuring yourself, but he hears you and turns to you, a little startled. If you roll 3, you bite a mighty bite, but did so little damage the troll ignores it, continuing to advance on his original quarry, dragging you with him. On a 4 you hurt him and he turns to face this new opponent. Terry succeeded in biting the troll, but still he ignored it and now Terry was being dragged someplace. (OOC: My apologies - work got kinda crazy these past couple of weeks and I'm a bit behind on things) Terry is dragged toward the other combatant the trolls are fighting. One troll has viciously clubbed their opponent, who retreated and clutched her wound. (Its okay, my wife hasn't been feeling good so I've been tending to her) Terry extended a hand, if he was able to and asked, "Are you okay?"

JoyRose Darkerdemons JoyRose The lovely elf tosses her sparkling braids to catch the sunlight and smiles. "Yes they are. And so worth the price!" However, the price she quotes is more than the bunny has in his pocket. Without counting, Dark knows he doesn’t carry that much currency around with him. “If someone was looking to trade for the tail hairs, what kind of items would you accept?” (OOC: My apologies - work got kinda crazy these past couple of weeks and I'm a bit behind on things) "An intriguing question," the elf replies thoughtfully. "I may consider it. What do you have to trade?" There are only so many promises for dragon scales that Dark can make. He chooses not to make another, at least not at this point in time. “Anything that you need done, such as physical labor?” Dark suggests.

Of course Faine would never rob anyone, at least not anyone who didn't cause trouble first. rofl Most of the trolls' belongings are shabby and of little or no value. One of them did manage to hide a gold coin in a pocket, and another has a pouch that might hold a treasure. Other than that, nothing of interest. Meanwhile, a stranger approaches, reaching a friendly hand toward Faine, saying, "Are you okay?" *Note: you have taken two injuries. The next injury will knock you out.

Terrance_Nicolas_Bogard (Its okay, my wife hasn't been feeling good so I've been tending to her) Terry extended a hand, if he was able to and asked, "Are you okay?" (I hope she's feeling better.) The opponent suddenly pins and ties up the remaining trolls, then quickly rifles through their belongings. While they don't accept the proffered hand, still cautious from of the trolls earlier, they maintain a polite expression on their face. "I'm fine, thank you for your concern. May I ask who you are? And how long you've been there?"

"Very well, a favor: there is a green tree house in the orchard to the north of the city. It needs mending of various things. If you can fix the door, replace the ladder, and patch the roof, I will give you the tail hair you desire."

Faine was a law-abiding citizen, after all. Of course. Though there isn't much of interest, Faine pockets it all anyway--who knows when the extra goods would come in handy?
Faine starts at the stranger's greeting, a bit too tired and beaten up for their usually sharp senses to notice their approach. While they don't accept the proffered hand, still cautious from of the trolls earlier, they maintain a polite expression on their face.

Q_who_am_I Q_who_am_I. Begin. Nothing happened. smile I'm sorry - this game was really supposed to end in April, and we kept it going through May, but interest seems to have tapered off, so I'm closing it. But look for more fun soon!
