Destiny City’s Star Festival began a few years ago as a quiet gesture of the city to promote goodwill and positive change in the community, though with a few new city council members--and the city’s hundredth birthday coming up, things are running a little differently this year. Destiny City has had its fair share of run ins with negative groups, property destruction, missing people--there’s a lot of negativity in the undercurrent, and this is the start of a new tradition.

Promoting goodwill towards each other and pride in the city and all its communities, the Destiny City Star Festival is focused on the bigger picture. We all wish for a better world--so why not make that wish a reality?

The city has set up numerous events to promote a little bit of fun while pushing towards making the city a better place. The Town Square is buzzing with activity; the City has given out permits for stalls to sell wares, promote programs, or recruit volunteers for various citywide ventures. Colorful decorations hang not only on official buildings, but local stores and residential houses as well.

If you’ve ever wanted to help the city flourish--and make a little magic--now’s a good time to get involved!

This year we've prepared some RPs and prompts that everyone will be able to participate in! More information can be found in the Ticket Opportunities list in the next post! Even if you're not interested in any of our super cool prizes, we hope a little roleplay might be enough to get everyone involved!

Roleplay opportunities will only be open from now until ~9pm EST on July 7th. The raffle will be rolled after a ticket list is compiled and winners will have 72 hours to contact the shop mule, The Space Cauldron, with their preference list. Anyone who does not respond within 72 hours will forfeit their slot.

We have some significant changes from our previous raffles, so please make sure you read over everything!

While the majority of our events are designed to be playable by a wide variety of factions, we understand that not every group may have access to all plots. For players with characters that cannot participate due to IC or OOC reasons, or players with no characters at all, you are allowed to play a disposable. Please see our information on disposables a few posts down!

Ticket Opportunities

Tickets can only be earned through Event Roleplays or Event Prompts, so you must be active in the shop if you are interested in participating in the raffle! Each ORP or game will have specific instructions, so please make sure to read the rules when you are signing up! The shop will be hosting both an ORP and prompts this year. Links to everything will be kept in this post, and all prompts will be listed here as well!

This year, there is a ticket cap! You can participate in writing for as many ORPs, Mini Games, or prompts as you like, but no player can claim more than five tickets towards the raffle. If you want to write for a prompt for requirements, or just for fun, that’s fine! But this year we are limiting each player to five tickets only. There will be plenty of opportunities to earn tickets, with a variety of events and prompts--this way, everyone has a chance to pick and choose what they want to participate in instead of trying to force themselves to respond to everything to earn raffle tickets!

To claim a ticket, you will need to fill out the following code and post it in this thread!

I AM CLAIMING A TICKET
Link to thread: [link to the thread you are claiming for; if you are responding to a prompt, make sure you indicate which prompt you are responding to either in this form or the thread!]

ORPs

While each shop run ORP will have its own rules, a few general things are important to keep in mind! While players can include as many of their official characters as they want, you can only earn one raffle ticket per ORP. This means, regardless of how many characters you play, you can only earn one raffle ticket. All events will be run for civilians only, so there will be no powering up! To earn a raffle ticket, you must write at least 500 words, though if you have multiple characters this can be spread out across them. You still need to write 500 words for a character if you are using a roleplay as a growth requirement for them!

Open Events:

A Midsummer Night

Closed Events:

N/A

Prompts

Each Prompt may only be counted towards a raffle ticket once per player. This means that if you respond to the same prompt with multiple characters, only the first one will count for a raffle ticket. We will make a small announcement any time a new prompt is put up, so check back here regularly to see if there's anything new you are interested in writing! All prompt responses must be posted in the Mini-Event subforum and can be written as a solo, a regular, or a battle (if applicable!). These should be labelled [Event-S], [Event-R], or [Event-B]. If you roleplay a disposable, these will not count towards any growth requirements for them, but if you are roleplaying with someone who has a disposable, it can still count for growth for your official character. More information on disposables can be found in the next post! To receive a raffle ticket for a prompt, you must write at least five hundred words and should include the prompt either in your first post or in the code you post in this thread to claim a ticket. The roleplay does not have to be finished in order to claim a ticket, but it will need to be finished before it can be used for growth requirements. While these events are written so that you only need a civilian to participate, you can play a powered character if it seems feasible!

Current Prompts:

Quote:
The Wishing Tree (1): In Town Square, there is a beautiful tree with spreading branches. It is tall, but the lowest branches are easily reached. The city has decorated the tree with small, starlike ornaments and glistening lights. Thick leaves and beautiful purple flowers dangle from the branches, along with a myriad of different colored papers with handwritten wishes. Next to the tree is a stack of blank paper with twine attached, and a handwritten sign that explains:

Write your wish on a sheet of paper and tie it to the tree. Take one wish off the tree and do your best to grant it. When you have granted the wish, bury the paper in the park.

The papers are biodegradable and filled with seeds. There are no rules for wishing, but you are encouraged to wish for something vague enough that it can be interpreted in many ways so that it can be granted; you do not write your name on it, but it is encouraged to write something that doesn’t wish for self gain, but rather something that can make the world a better place. Some wishes dangling from the tree already include things like “I wish there wasn’t so much litter in the park,” “I wish someone would clean the graffiti off the old historic buildings,” and “I wish there were more volunteers at the shelter.”

If you choose to use the Wishing Tree, what do you wish for? If your wish is private, you may write it on the paper and choose a spot in the park and bury it yourself instead of hanging it on the tree.

Quote:
The Wishing Tree (2) : Your wish is only said to come true if you grant the wish of someone else; when you write your wish, you must also take one off of the tree and do your best to grant it. What wish do you pull off, and how do you intend to ‘grant’ it? Do you work with someone else to grant this wish, or do you work alone? You may get approval from another player to use the wish their character hung up, but no names are attached so your character may not ever know who wrote it!

Quote:
There are many parties and celebrations going across town; for whatever reason, you are in a part of town where live music is playing and everyone is dancing all around. You lock eyes with someone in the crowd and, in all the movement, the crowd winds up pushing you together. Whether intentional or accidental, you get one dance together before you are separated. Was this person someone you know or a complete stranger and, did you want the dance or did you try to escape it? --Will you ever find each other again afterwards?

Quote:
True to its name, this time of year is unnaturally clear and it’s incredibly easy to see the stars. They sparkle with more colors and vibrancy than usual. Sometimes you can see odd lights, but everything is so far away it's hard to tell what's real and what's an illusion, but it's a magical and overwhelming sensation all the same. Every year there is a meteor shower at this time, and this year is no different; the sky is full of shooting stars, so now's the perfect opportunity to find a dark place to watch the stars and make a wish! Whatever wish you make, you wind up having the most surreal dream of it being granted. What did you wish for--and what direction did your dream take? What happens when you wake up to reality?

Quote:
Destiny City has installed a Reservoir that is finally ready for the public to use, only five minutes outside of the eastern side of town; it used to be quite a distance to travel to the nearest beach, but during construction Destiny City has modified the lake's shoreline to mimic sandy ocean beach fronts. If you want the summer experience, you can head over there to check it out! Bonfires, picnics, parties, and sand castles seem to be everywhere, but now's the best time to enjoy the water! It's cool and clear and full of fresh water fish! The only thing is...the sand squeaks when you walk on it. Is that normal?

Quote:
To any explorers visiting the new Reservoir, they may find that just a bit away from the sandy water are a set of caves. Some of these connect back to the lake, but others rapidly plunge into darkness. It wouldn't be hard to get lost in here, but thankfully there are some very odd lights to help guide you out. If you turn off your light down some of these dark paths, you may find yourself surrounded by glowing pastel lights. A closer inspection reveals that you seem to be looking at some sort of glowing caterpillars. No internet search seems to yield what they are, and if you take them out of the cave they seem to shrivel up almost immediately. What’s going on here?

Quote:
Entire parts of town are trussed up in banners and stars to commemorate the holiday. You can find them dangling from lampposts, walls, trees--paper stars are everywhere. While this has become common in the past few days, what’s uncommon is how some of them seem to glow at night. While passing through town, more stars seem to light up, guiding you down some strange path. There is an unnatural pull to them, a lull deep in your chest that something just meant for you is waiting at the end. When the path of stars end, what do you find? Someone? Something you lost? The answer to some question you’ve been asking yourself for some time? The stars eventually lose their glow and do not light back up again; any examination yields that they seem to be normal paper.

Quote:
With the prevalence for star based shenanigans, it seems an overenthusiastic participant has taken to placing stickers on the foreheads of any animal they can find. A number of cats, dogs, rodents--anything they could get their hands on--is now donning a shimmery star sticker in the center of their foreheads. The cats almost perfectly resemble Mauvians; they have no aura, and no ability to speak, but that doesn’t mean the average person knows it. Good Samaritans have taken to trying to peel the stickers off of their foreheads--which is generally appreciated, unless they accidentally find a Mauvian. But then, most of the people who know about Mauvians are powered; do they know them well enough to tell the difference between them and an unfortunate cat? And how are Mauvians responding to these unwilling imposters?

Quote:
Destiny City is passing out 'Wishmaker' Buttons; there are many local charities that have set up booths. If you have a passion for change, all you have to do is keep your eyes peeled and you're guaranteed to find someone raising money for a cause near to your heart. In return for donations, a character will receive a 'Wishmaker' button. There doesn't seem to be anything particularly magical about the button--but the moment it's attached to your shirt things suddenly take a turn for the best. You notice, for the rest of the day, everything seems to be going your way. You might not win the lottery, but maybe you got a call you were waiting for, an opportunity fell in your lap, or maybe things just seem to finally be lining up. The magic only lasts for one day, so you'd better make the best of it!

Special Event Prompts:

Special Event Prompts will lead up to an associated ORP; while you can complete these prompts at any point in time during the span of the event, ICly they will all occur before the associated ORP.

Quote:
Firework displays are common this time of year, especially for the duration of the festival. By all accounts, the fireworks lighting up the sky seemed perfectly ordinary--until, suddenly, a light flashes so brightly that it immediately blinds everyone who was watching. For those staring directly at the explosion, they may find that their vision takes 2-3 days to return; for those who caught only a glimpse of it or were further away, they may still be affected with less severe vision loss. (Please see tomorrow's prompt for more information on vision recovery! You may respond to this prompt at any point in time or backdate, but this event will always have ICly occurred on the night of June 20th) To anyone who viewed the firework, it was unlike any other firework before; it was a beautiful array of colors and was accompanied with a loud boom and a strange gust of wind. Destiny City has reported that it was not an approved display but do not have further information on the firework’s origin.

Quote:
Flowers are blooming at an incredible place across the city and sometimes barren patches of grass can be overrun with flowers overnight. There have been heavy showers and a high pollen count but there doesn’t appear to be any other explanation. It is not uncommon to find trees with nearly double the leaves they usually have, with vines twisting up houses, flowers covering the front yard, or local fruits to have doubled in size. There doesn’t seem to be any negative effects to this; scientists are questioning climate change.

Quote:
To anyone who found themselves suffering from temporary vision loss as a result of the firework, it seems that the worst cases seem are reported to have faded after three days--though anyone who caught a glimpse of the firework may notice a strange shadow out of the corner of their eye. No matter what you do, you cannot get any closer or make out any details, but without fail the shadow seems to appear regularly throughout the day.

Quote:
In the warm summer nights, little glowing lights begin to bob and dart through the city. Fireflies are mating, so this isn't uncommon in itself; in the past few days you've probably seen hundreds of fireflies. What makes these lights so unique is that they seem to change color; you might see an orange one, a green one, a red one. They flicker randomly, and something just seems off with them. If you come into contact with one, you will find yourself with a strange electric jolt. They cannot be caught, and will flicker away if you pursue too aggressively. What are they, and what are they doing? --And where are they going? No matter how quickly you chase them, they always seem to disappear before you can find any answers.

Quote:
The shadow is unavoidable and seems to be appearing with more frequency--only, now, sighting it is accompanied with an explainable wave of anxiety and stress. It plagues you, and then--finally, for just a moment--the shadow is in front of you and you can make out the details: someone important to you, that you’ve lost. Maybe it’s someone you haven’t seen in a long time and lost contact with, someone who has passed, or someone you just can’t quite place but feel connected to--you see them, clearly, in front of you. You cannot touch them, and you can only make out one word that they say. They will not respond to anything you do or say; when you blink, they are gone. The shadow does not appear afterwards, but you feel a residual presence as flickering anxiety throughout the day.

You can also win a ticket if you both participate in a Mini Game and write a 500 word solo based on your results from the Mini-Game. You can only claim one raffle ticket per mini-game, so even if you write solos for all of your characters, you can only claim one ticket. Please see the Mini-Game threads for more information on how this works!

Disposables

If you don't have a character in the shop yet, that's okay! Players may use a quest character or a character they create on the spot to participate in event only roleplays and prompts. You can only roleplay your character in the Mini-Event subforum. When setting up a new thread, you must put an asterisk next to your character's name to indicate that they are not officially won. For example, you might write a solo based off of a prompt and it would be titled [Event Solo] Title [Name*]. If you are participating in an ORP, the rules may be different so please read each thread accordingly!

If you are a new member of the shop and do not have a character in the shop and want to respond to a prompt by writing either a solo or roleplay, please fill out the following form and put it in a spoiler in your first post! Even if you have filled it out for other events or threads, you must include this in every new thread you are involved in.

Character’s name:
Age:
Appearance:
Personality Traits: (list 2-4 virtues and an equal number of flaws; these can be one word descriptions of each trait and do not need explanation)

Remember, your character must be unawakened and human, and should be a fairly believable character. If you have questions about what might be acceptable, please contact a member of our moderator staff for answers! You can also PM the shop mule The Space Cauldron and we'll get back to you as soon as possible!

If you already have a character in the shop, you should not play a disposable unless all your characters are either unplayable or cannot participate. For example, if you have a character who is currently in the hospital and could not believably be involved in anything, you could play a temporary disposable. If you only have a full-youma and cannot justify them putting on a civilian glamour to participate or the prompts do not in any way relate to them, or if you have a Mauvian who does not have a civilian glamour, you can play a disposable instead--however, you must PM the shop mule to give us a brief explanation as well as provide the character form in your PM. We just want to make sure everything checks out, so this will be a quick approval and is just to make things easier on us!

Playing a disposable in this event does not mean they will die! You can quest for these characters at a later point in time, if you so choose! Remember, if the character has not been officially won and arted, none of your RPs will count towards their growth, but you are still eligible for prizes or RP related rewards! Playing a disposable during this event does not guarantee that you will receive your character, but it's a good opportunity to get your feet wet!

Quote:
Glass Wind Chime - Multicolored glass shards carefully tied together dangle from an ornate metal hanger.
Sometimes when the wind blows and you hear the laughter of someone you miss; the first time you hear this, it reminds you of a time in your life when you were happy and at peace. It immediately relaxes and refreshes you. The wind chime will only have a magical effect once. Afterwards, it will simply function as a lovely wind chime. It might not have any magic, but it's a nice memento!

Colorful Sparkler - A sparkler that appears ordinary at first glance and has a dark wooden base and a colorful tip.
When lit, the sparkler can light up a moderately sized room as if it is daylight. The sparkler cannot catch anything on fire and occasionally shoots out harmless, colorful little bursts of light that mimics a small firework. The sparkler is completely silent and once it extinguishes it exposes a beautiful golden core. The core always takes a unique shape; whatever material it is seems to coil and melt from the internal heat of the sparkler. It does not have any magical properties afterwards, but the core can be fastened into a charm and kept as a memento!

Cool Sunglasses - Incredibly fashionable sunglasses that seem like they could match any outfit.
While they serve as a functionable fashion accessory in most cases, they also have the magical ability to help locate something that has been lost or something you are currently looking for. This ability will only work once and can only be used to locate an object. (If you would like to use the sunglasses to find something else, please PM The Space Cauldron so we can work out the plot with you! A sparkling trail will appear before you while the magic is activated; it will guide you to the object you are seeking and will then extinguish once you reach it. Once the object is found, the glasses will not reactivate to help you locate anything again in the future. While they no longer have any magical properties, the sunglasses are still comfortable and useful and can be kept as a memento!

Mermaid Necklace - A hand carved pendant of varying shades of cool colors carved in the shape of a mermaid dangles from a silver chain.
The gem is beautiful and catches the light, but when the magic is activated the necklace allows the wearer to effortlessly breathe underwater for up to an hour. The sensation is strange but the wearer simply needs to continue breathing through their nose or mouth and will find that they always have enough air in their lungs. After an hour they will need to resurface and the magic will have faded from the necklace. It cannot be reactivated, but the necklace can be kept as a neat memento!

IC BATTLE RP ITEMS

These are a new type of IC RP Item that can be used in battle and are designed to give your character a one time ability. These are not limited edition and have been permanently added to our list of purchasable IC RP Items. Like other single use IC RP Items, these will only cost 1 Crown Token to purchase. There will be opportunities to win some of these during our event, though, so if you are interested, make sure you are keeping your eyes on things!

Quote:
Smoke Bomb Suppressor - A golf ball sized smoke bomb contained in a decorative bag.
When thrown against the ground the smoke bomb releases a transparent, odorless smoke that cannot be avoided. The smoke affects everyone within fifteen feet of where it was thrown and suppresses all magic for sixty seconds. It prevents all Senshi and Knight Magic, all teleportation, all summoning weapons--you still have the physical boost of your rank but any additional magical abilities cannot be accessed if you inhaled any smoke. After sixty seconds, the smoke fades and magical abilities return. This item must be approved for use in any event or ORP. Only one use per smoke bomb suppressor, but the tiny decorative bag can be kept as a memento.

Distortion Mirror - A decorative, handheld mirror.
When activated, the mirror distorts the energy signature of everyone within one hundred feet for sixty seconds. Everyone visibly appears the same, but all energy signatures are severely warped and reflected as something else. Your energy can only warp to a faction with a rank equivalent to your own; for example, a Knight’s energy signature may register as a Dark Mirror Senshi because they have the same number of ranks. However, an Order Mauvian could only reflect as a Chaos Mauvian because they do not have any other equivalent ranked factions to mimic. Your rank will always be the same; a second stage will always reflect as a second stage, however it would be possible for a Super Chibi Senshi to feel like an Ascended Super. This item must be approved for use in any event or ORP. After sixty seconds, the mirror is simply a handheld mirror but can be kept as a memento.

Shadow Gem - A strange black gem with a beautiful luster; it is roughly half the size of someone's palm.
When rubbed, this stone casts a complete shadow in a fifty foot radius for sixty seconds. No light, magical or natural, seems to be able to dispel the darkness. Energy signatures can be felt but nothing can be seen. When the magic ends, the darkness seems to be absorbed back into the gem. This item must be approved for use in any event or ORP. Each gem has only one use; afterwards, it simply a beautiful memento.

Bag of Starshine - Within a small, decorative bag is a handful of ruby red sand that shimmers like starlight.
When the user gathers the sand in their hand and hurls it at their feet, shimmering stars rupture around them and lift them slightly off the ground. The user can focus on any location within fifty feet and, like a shooting star, will glide almost instantly across a sparkling bridge to their chosen location. The sand disappears on impact and there is not enough for a second trip. This item must be approved for use in any event or ORP. While the sand disappears, the tiny decorative bag can be kept as a memento.

PERMANENT ACCESSORIES

These are a special type of IC RP Item that do not expire upon use! A player will be able to win these in events or purchase them for 3 Crown Tokens! These are a permanent edition to the shop! Each character can only earn one of each item, and items are non transferable from character to character or player to player. There is no limit to how many a player can acquire, so long as they have enough characters to give them to! Please be mindful that, as a new introduction to the shop, there may be hiccups or adjustments made to this system. These items may be owned by civilians, but not all of the items may be usable by civilians. If you have questions about how a civilian may use one of the below items, please contact The Space Cauldron before purchasing one for them so we can answer any questions!

Our current Permanent Accessories include:

Quote:
Engraved Medallion - An antique medallion with some strange, foreign symbols scrawled on the back.
The magic can only be activated and used on the owner of the medallion. The medallion allows the wearer to suppress their own energy signature by one level for up to three hours a day. First stage characters will feel like civilians; while this item has little effect on Mauvians in their cat form, it will suppress their energy signature as if they were a human civilian if activated while they are in their humanoid form. Youma will have the energy signature of a human civilian.

Metallic Bracelet - An antique bracelet made of some sort of metal.
It has the ability to amplify magic usage; this must be plotted with your roleplay partner before use. You must ask for permission to use this item in events/ORPs. When activated, this bracelet allows the wearer to get an extra use out of their strongest magic (up to third stage). They can only recover magic they have ICly earned; a Super Senshi may not get an extra use out of their Eternal magic since they have not unlocked it. Senshi can recover one use of their strongest magic, and Knights may recover up to 45 seconds of their energy pool. Mauvians will recover one extra use of their laser and will not be so exhausted after using it the first time. For Negaverse characters, or characters who do not usually have magic, they will instead gain the ability to fire a concentrated laser from the bracelet while in battle. The bracelet will only have a few shots (no more than five) and the strength of the blast is dependent on the character’s rank: At first stage or lower, the blast feels like a harsh slap, at second stage the blast feels like a harsh kick, and at third stage or higher the blast feels hot enough that it may cause the sensation of burning or stun the opponent if hit. Due to the uniqueness of youma/half youma characters’ abilities and powers, before equipping them with a Metallic bracelet, please PM the mule to work out details.

Sparkling Earrings - A pair of matching earrings.
When shared between two people, one worn per person, it allows an immediate connection between their minds for up to two hours per day. These earrings allow the wearers to transfer thoughts and images, and is good for discreet communication as it cannot be tracked or monitored by anyone else. When the magic ends, the earring disappears from the shared partner and returns to the owner. The earrings must be together to recharge. The earrings can be used regardless of distance or location.

Silver Whistle - A pretty little whistle on a small chain.
When blown, the whistle can disorient all opponents within fifteen feet. The whistle can be used once per day and effects should be discussed with your RP partner before use, but can include dizziness, nausea, headaches, and temporary deafness, any of which can linger upon player desire. Anyone who is not considered hostile will not hear any noise when the whistle is blown.

While these all have a basic design, the items can have slightly varying appearances between characters to better fit aesthetics! Permanent Accessories can go on a character’s official shop art, but please make sure you work with your artist so it matches the description!

ICly these items can be acquired in different locations depending on which faction your character is in! Most commonly, Senshi can find them on their Homeworld, Knights on their Wonder, Dark Mirror Senshi in Mirrorspace, and Negaverse Agents in Negaspace/the Rift. If you have a plot where your character acquires it in a different fashion, please send a PM to The Space Cauldron to discuss it!

These items cannot be taken apart or repurposed for other means; they are all magically based and seem to be constructed of components that are hard to identify, making them impossible to replicate.

Winning Procedures

After the tickets have been compiled into a list, rolling will begin July 7th! This will be done publicly, in this thread, and winners will have 72 hours to send a preference list to the shop mule, The Space Cauldron. If a winner does not contact the mule by that time, the they will forfeit their slot and another winner will be rolled! Once a player is rolled, all of their tickets will be pulled from the ticket list; you can only be rolled once! If you are rolled, you may give your slot to a friend only if they are not already on the winners list. Swapping positions with another player on the list is permitted.

If you have questions about claiming tickets or other Raffle procedures, please PM In the Name of the Mule and we will get back to you as soon as possible!

Mini-Games

This year we have a few mini-games to participate in! You can find information about each Mini-Game in their respective threads! While you cannot win raffle tickets from participation alone, if you write 500 words (either as a solo or RPing within the thread) based on the Mini-Game and your scores for any character, you can claim one ticket. Complete instructions and details are in the Mini Game threads, so please check these out!

So if you aren't playing for tickets, what are you playing for?

Participation in the Mini-Events can earn you IC RP Items! You can select either our current Event IC RP items or any of our permanent IC RP items! You can only win one of these items doing this method, so if you win in one mini-game you cannot win in another! If the mini-games have unique prizes that cannot be earned anywhere else (such as the necklaces in the Scavenger hunt) you can still participate to win them ICly but you will forfeit the OOC item prize, which will be rolled to go to someone else.

Mini-Games:

Destiny City Scavenger Hunt - (Entries Close June 29th)
Stargazing [CYOA] - (6/20 on; new prompts every ~24 hours)

More to be announced as the event goes on!

Individual Participation Rewards

Sometimes luck isn’t on anyone’s side; we are introducing a new option that rewards participation without any competitive nature! For every five roleplays or solos that reach 500 words, a player can claim one IC RP item--from our regular pool of one time use IC Items, from our current Limited Edition IC RP Item Pool, or any item from a previous Limited Edition IC RP Item Pool (with the exception of any items that were given out as special/exclusive rewards in certain RPs). You cannot claim an IC RP Item or any Item that was winnable in a player run event, however you have access to any IC RP Item given out in a similar staff run event.

You can claim up to three one time use IC RP Items through this method! However, if you participate in ten roleplays or solos that reach 500 words, you will have the option to claim one permanent accessory in place of one IC RP Item! This means, if you do fifteen roleplays or solos, you could claim two one time use IC RP Items and one permanent accessory, or you could claim three one time use IC RP Items.

These roleplays or solos can come from ORPs, prompts, or mini games; you can repeat prompts to count for this! These roleplays do not have to be finished before the month ends, but we will be keeping our eyes on roleplays to make sure they are moving forward; we want to reward players for their activity, but if roleplays are being started and only played to word count without actually finishing, this will negatively impact how we choose to release more permanent accessories to the shop. Please try to finish all of the roleplays you start!

To claim these RP Items (one time use items or permanent accessories) you will need to use the following form and post in this thread:

I would like to turn in (#) roleplays for an IC RP Item!
link
Trading for: (Which item are you claiming?)
Giving to: (Which of your characters will be obtaining this? (This is only necessary if claiming for a permanent accessory!)

Please also remember to edit your claim into your IC RP Item Log thread post!

If you are claiming an item based on your participation, you cannot gift this item to anyone else! This is for you, and you alone!

Star Charms

In order to commemorate Destiny City's first annual Star Fest, Destiny City has been handing out Free Star Charms! ICly these are being distributed from participating businesses and vendor stalls, from volunteers at historical landmarks, and during local events. Your character may also be ICly given one or find them while out and about. OOCly, your character may obtain one star charm for each roleplay/solo they participate in where you write at least 500 words for them; while you do not have to have your character receiving or finding one of these charms on screen in the roleplay, the roleplay you are using to claim the charm should mention the charm at least once. There is no limit to how many charms a player or character may obtain, but each character can only obtain one per roleplay. ICly these are collectible and OOCly they can be kept as souvenirs in character journals; they do not have any known magical properties. You can claim a star charm for your character and later give it away to another character.

There are charms in seven colors for character to collect!
