Ḉhαrαctєr Đєαth ℞ules ┏━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━◎✥◎━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━┓ Ḉhαrαctєr Đєαth This topic will cover everything regarding Ḉhαrαctєr Đєαth. We have this topic here as there are many concerns around this topic and some details that you might otherwise miss. Most of this topic will be on the subject of post reallocation. When one of your RPCs (Role Play Characters) dies you are allowed to reallocate the posts. This must be done in accordance to the specified Character Reallocation Guidelines listed below the general rules.
℞ules 1. Resurrection ▬ You can bring someone back from the brink of death, but not death itself unless approved by a crew. Resuscitation is allowed, but it must be done within "minutes."
2. No Kill Policy ▬ Nobody is allowed to just kill your RPC off without your consent, or the consent of the crew. In general we will not be allowing others to kill your RPC off. We would rather you barely escape to live another day, but if you do something horrendously stupid we reserve the right to not only allow RPC death, but to mandate it.
3. Hiatus ▬ You are allowed to take your RPCs out of the role play temporarily while on hiatus. If you do this they will not die as long as we know you are planning on coming back. If you up and leave without telling anyone we reserve the right to kill your characters off. Please get permission from the majority of your team if you wish for your RPCs to stay on the team while you are gone as we also reserve the right to remove inactive RPCs from teams.
Ḉhαrαctєr Rєαllσcαtíσn GuídєlínєsThese guidelines are in place to prevent unfair reallocation of posts. When in doubt always ask a crew member. 1. Ḉhαrαctєr Đєαth ▬ If your character has been killed off the crew must be informed. Please try and get this information to us as soon as possible.
2. Rєαllσcαtíσn Límít ▬ You will be allowed to reallocate all posts from your late (dead) RPC, but you can only do so between events/missions/class threads. This means you cannot add your posts halfway through a mission and must wait for that mission to be complete.
3. Tímmíng & Plαnnєd Fíghts ▬ You are not allowed to allocate posts right before an event or planned fight. If a fight is planned or logically anticipated (judged by the crew's discretion) then you must wait until after the fight has taken place to allocate the posts. This is to prevent someone from picking a fight then dumping posts to barely win. This also applies to events. You are to try and allocate posts 3 days before any event or fight. We will be slightly more lenient for events if you ask crew if it is okay to allocate points before an event that is less than 3 days away. If you get permission of the opponents in the fight we will obviously allow it.
4. RPC Rєtírєmєnt ▬ You are allowed to permanently retire any of your characters (and for any reason), but you will never be allowed to use that character again. In order to do this you must send a message to crew that includes: a. Name of RPC being Retired. b. The explanation on why they are being retired (role-play explanation might include that they had family to take care of in a far off kingdom). c. Send a link to their profile, where the profile's heading has been updated with the words "Permanently Retired." It will be processed and removed.
5. RPC transfer▬ You are allowed to permanently transfer your characters to another person within certain circumstances. When a character is permanently transferred you get all of their posts back for reallocation, but you will never be allowed to use that character again. The person who you are transferring it to gets the character at a post count of 0. In order to do this you must send a message to crew that includes:
a. Name of RPC being transferred
b. The explanation on why they are being transferred (ooc).
c. Send a link to their profile.
d. Gaia name of the person you are transferring the profile to.
6. NPC Cσnvєrsíσn ▬ If you like you may give the crew permission to use your RPC as an NPC. You still get all the posts back as we will. We will set that NPC at a default level. We generally want your permission for this, but if we decide your reason for retiring them is inadequate then we reserve the right to use them as an NPC in order to have them die off in a more logical manner. We will role play as that character to achieve the desired effect.
7. Tímєσut ▬ If you permanently retire a character or convert them to an NPC you will be barred from making a new profile for 1 month unless this would leave you with no characters. If you have no other RPCs then you will be allowed to create a new one.
8. Applícαtíσn ▬ You must post one of these αpplícαtíσns every time you reallocate points to a RPC. You will post it in this very topic. This is just for posts that are coming from a dead RPC to an active one. We will use the history of posts here to keep track of every post allocation so make sure to not post anything in this thread other than the application. Direct questions directly to crew via Discord. You will find the αpplícαtíσn below. Try to allocate points slowly to characters, or to at least try and wait to boost them until it makes sense within the role play for realism.

█ IRP Explanation ▬ It was determined not long after Jules' training with a rifle that it was a bit of a legal nightmare to unwillingly enroll a student for combat training when they had not been properly informed or allowed a say in this enrollment. For that reason, Jules returned to MTI to work from his personal lab. While he would continue to produce gadgets for the betterment of hunters, he adamantly refused to return to the field. He also did his best to make sure Ignicis and her squad had all the gear and gizmos they might need for their missions, The same for team DARK.
