█Relation ▬ The relation between Bolortsetseg (Bo) and Garnet can be seen as a Mutual Parasitism; Mentor/Pupil and/or the protector of its host. █Communication ▬ Bo communicates through the nervous system, creating a telepathic link between parasite and host; even though the parasite rests as a red crystal within Garnet's eye socket. █Appearance ▬ To Garnet, Bolortsetseg looks like a tall and regal (almost androgynous) being that dawns a mask who stands about 6'8" and broadsword. █NATURAL ABILITIES █Primary Talent ▬ Allure: She has a mysteriously natural magnetism that seems to draw people to and feel comfortable around her whether it be a casual glance or talking with her. █Faunus Trait/Bonus Talent ▬ Blood Diet: Though blood is not the Only thing in her diet (she does eat regular foods), it does make up much of it; providing her with much needed nutrients; much like the Vampire Finch. Though unlike the Vampire Finch, the consumption of blood also helps her aura enough to heal wounds quickly. █Other Talents ▬ Athletic: She had always been naturally athletic and good at sports after she had gotten better. ▬ Evasive Sting: With fleeting and swift steps, enemies have a hard time striking at her with their lumbering footing. █LEARNT ABILITIES █Strongest Skill ▬ Scythe Proficiency: Trained by Bo, this variation of weapon proficiency is the ability to be highly skilled in wielding any scythe as a weapon. █Weakest Skill ▬ One-sided sight: This is also known as Monocular Vision. Due to the loss of her right eye, she is partially blind and has declines in her abilities to accurately track moving objects, to judge distances, and to perceive depth, without physically turning. This means with only the one eye you has lose approximately 20% of your peripheral vision. █ ▬ The Hunger: Garnet and Bo have a need for blood at least once every 2 days, or she goes feral. She does lose control as she has an overwhelming desire for blood, acting almost in an animal-like nature in the sense of sensual seduction/mating desire, until it's satiated; then she returns to normal. Blood is how Bo feeds, so they don't feed on Garnet as heavily. When she fails to satisfy its needs, Bo resorts to feeding on the host and manipulating her to get the nutrients they desire so they don't kill their own host. Doing this is very detrimental though. After the 4th day without blood, she begins to feel weak and slow down. After the 8th day, she would be unable to move. On the 10th day, the host would die (and parasite soon after if they don’t find a host). █ ▬ Hive Mind: Occasionally, you may hear a commanding voice that you may never have met in person before. It may give you orders from time to time or try to exert control. Resistance is almost futile. (This means that a crew member can say your character is strongly compelled to do something, even if it is against their nature usually, but you can discuss how well your character can or can't resist it).
█Other Skills ▬ Deception: Through years of practice and teachings of her parents to hide/protect others, she has become skilled in telling half-truths and keeping secrets to get her out of undesirable situations and/or to get what she wants. █ ▬ Swordsmanship: Since she was five-years-old, as a child of noble birth, her father thought it imperative that in order to be an "accomplished" lady, to learn how to handle a blade, whether she used it in future or not. █ ▬ Amateur Researcher: Her knowledge and ingenuity is more than plain smarts and curiosity—it’s inspired. Driving her to experiment and push new boundaries in her search for answers concerning parasitism and Vampyrs.

█BACKGROUND ▬ Journal records by Garnet Thistledown:
It all began twenty-two years ago, that my life would take me on a journey very different from most people’s. Now, for the most part I had a rather peaceful and enjoyable childhood. In truth not very much happened, they had a normal vampire bat Mother (Chloe Tallulah) and a vampire finch father (Douglas Fintan), well as normal as a Noble family can after being evacuated from their home back in Mistral. Though it is not known to many, outside of the family, we are the last of our family. With the money and all the possessions that my parents could gather, they along with others fled from Mistral forever as it began to lose contact with the outside kingdoms. From Mistral they had traveled to the Kingdom of Vale, my sister at the time was very young (around three-years-old during the fall).
About two years later, they had me (my sister was five years old now). Born in the Vale Hospital, they told me I had almost been stillborn due to complications with the birth. I was a very sick child growing up and did not go outside very much. But my sister, whom I love very much, always trying to sneak me outside just so I could enjoy it. On those days, we would take a walk through the garden; the estate was very large and private for the most part. Though she would usually take me outside of the estate in order to explore the forest not too far from our home. Alizarin Aminah (Ali or Minnie to me) was a vampire bat like mother and both of us had the need for blood (an inherited trait for such faunuses, though it was quite taboo in Vale).
Growing up with our discreet secret, we became very good at hiding half-truths and white lies from those that would not understand. Those that did also were kept quiet with confidentiality contracts before ever coming to one of the manor’s mysterious parties. So, for us it was normal for the most part. Growing up in the house of my childhood, there were certain things in the forest at we had not expected, and this is what led to our discovery of the crystal fairy statue when I was about ten. It was very strange at first and there was nothing to indicate that there could possibly be anything wrong. We had just thought that it was a statue that mother and father had brought from Mistral upon arriving in Vale. And, well, part of that was correct but we had no idea at there would be something alive within it.
My sister was naturally drawn to it, and admittedly so was I. I, being the sick creature that I was, did not dare to touch it but my sister on the other hand could not resist. Reaching out to the rose that the Crystal fairy held, my sister would experience a swift yet painless cut up on her right palm. The next couple days afterwards, my sister had acted very strangely, and I was concerned since she was usually even tempered and kind. For the next week, Minnie had been irritable and very closed-off which concerned my parents and myself. I almost thought she had gone bipolar or insane when she first told me about the imaginary friend that she had gained. It wasn't until she began to feed upon me that I had experienced a similar voice in my own mind. At first, I thought I was going insane too, but then I realized that I was not the only one hearing it; this was the voice that my sister was hearing. We kept the feeding a secret; we didn't need mother and father complaining or growing concerned. I did notice though that as the feedings continued, I began to be less sick and as such the voice grew stronger. I had also noticed that my sister seemed to be taking my place and getting sicker. This went on for quite a while And I had noticed the crystal scales as well (I guess you could call them) on my sister’s skin.
Now my sister would grow weaker and I stronger, it still shocked me when I went out in the garden that day; I was sixteen at the time. Mother and father were crying because my sister was no longer to be found; in her place in the garden where she loved to play there stood the crystalline statue with eerie similarity to my sister. I had grown more comfortable with speaking to the parasite as it's now called, the one I call Bo, and she explained what had happened. They did tell me that this too will happen to me someday, and even though I knew it I was not afraid. Whether that made me crazy or not I’m not sure.
My parents had grown more distant after my sister’s “disappearance”. They had chosen not to report it though so as not to draw more attention to ourselves then necessary; it was the right choice in the end as we are slightly isolated. Known to keep to ourselves after the fall of Mistral; we were very rarely bothered, if at all once we settled.
Once I became old enough, I began looking at places for myself so that I may do my research in peace. Before that I was doing most of my research in the library and spending much time with myself. There were many times when I could not go into the library and talk to myself without getting strange looks; and I wanted to avoid that before they could send me to an institution. Of course, I was never really alone, Bo always kept me company. It did not take long before I found the perfect place; it was a condo complex just inside the city of Vale with neighbors that kept mostly to themselves, it was perfect. That very same day I purchased a condo on the third floor at the complex with a spacious balcony and plenty of natural light. The parasite itself, as I have come to realized what it was, was much more of a mentor to me then even my own parents.---Don't get me wrong my parents taught me much, especially in the ways of business in contracts; but that was about it.---
As my relationship with Bo grew, it would seem that they had a lot to teach and their knowledge vast. It would appear that though they were not knowledgeable of other strains or ones like themselves of the crystalline gene, they did know quite a bit about themselves. I have made note as shown below:
The crystalline gene, also known as a protector gene/parasite, appear to take the form of crystals upon the host’s skin somewhere on the body. In exchange for allowing it to exist within the host, the parasite/crystalline gene would create a sort of protective barrier from the blood expelled/spilled from said host. Though if the host were to overuse the parasite’s power/special gift it would result in the host slowly turning its blood into crystalline so much so that it would begin to consume and transform the parasite’s host into a statuesque form (As seen with the fairy and my sister in the past). Although I know this, it strangely does not scare me. In fact, upon learning such facts, it spurred my curiosity and my desire to research and take note of Bo’s unique genealogy and parasitism. As I make notes in these journals, I hope to pass them on to the next host (as I make note that I am the sixty-seventh host of the first “child” of this particular parasitic gene).
Now, I knew I could not rely on my trust fund forever, so after getting my own place, I set to work looking for work. At this serendipitous moment, my only real friend since childhood, ********* Metrodora Confortola (I just called her ********* though), had plans for putting her business in motion (we were both twenty at this time). We had the business up and running within six months’ time and for a while with just myself and my friend, along with three other ladies which childcare and other experiences, it was quite successful. My first and most memorable job, was for a wealthy family whose daughter had just passed away and wanted their son, who is very close to her, to come out of his shell a bit and thought that having a “replacement sister” of sorts might help him cope with that. Little did I know that there was something much deeper going on. As I grew closer to this child, Peter, I soon learned that there Was greater unrest then first observed. So much so that I actually went to my employer and discussed in private my concerns; she had suggested that I contact the proper authorities anonymously. It took six months but Peter, who was eight at the time, would go on live a happy life with his grandparents as his legal guardians from then on (I had turned twenty-one at the time). Unfortunately, that meant my contract was terminated but, I was happy that a child would be safe.
My next contract would be as a bodyguard to one scientist in particular. They've been working on something top secret and wanted my assistance in particular. I had not known that they too had some knowledge of the symbiote and their hosts. It was about ten months and then misfortune would befall the laboratory. Work was pretty steady after those two, though they never lasted longer than a couple months or so, which I preferred in all honesty.
Now at the age of twenty-two, I live comfortably with Bo, who despite not liking my work, still teaches me more than I could ever dream of. They allow me to interact with others since (as Bo has said) it is important to have a dependable source of “sustenance”; I consider them friends with a biting/feeding fetish, which suits my needs just fine and they come at my call. It had taken almost two years to cultivate and nurture, so I don’t wish to lose it. I’ve filled over five journals in observing the crystalline gene, and still have yet to meet another strain, though we could feel them, we have yet to meet. Though I hope to meet them and learn from them soon...

█PRIMARY WEAPON █ ▬ Blood Rose (see fc image) █ ▬ Blood Rose is a crystalline scythe with a crystalline blade created from her blood, using it as a quarterstaff/walking stick when not fighting. █Melee Form ▬ Red crystalline scythe with a curved blade that measures 4 feet long and 6 inches wide, 1 inch thick. █Ranged Form ▬ N/A █Other Form(s) ▬ Quarterstaff form when resting. █Ammo Type ▬ N/A █ ▬ It takes 1 post to create the blade and lasts 5 posts before the blade "retracts". █ ▬ Takes both hands to wield. █ ▬ No ranged attack.
█*NAME ▬ Crystalline Gene Evolution (aka Mask of the Red Death) █*AURA COLOR ▬ Garnet █*DESCRIPTION █ ▬ Garnet's semblance comes from her parasitic strain that alters her blood; Bo. Each level is an evolution of the parasitic semblance/gene that stacks upon the previous level(s); eventually leading to a full-body crystallization. █ ▬ The blood outside of her body crystallizes to become like a sort of natural armor defense and/or creation for a max number of posts; the number of posts needed to rest is equal to how many used (see drawbacks). █ ▬ At higher levels, she would be able to crystallize her blood into the shape of an animal that comes to mind for a certain number of posts. When her blood crystallizes into the desired creature, enough is left uncrystallized to allow the creature movement, controlled by aura (see drawbacks for how long they last). █*LEVEL 0 ▬ At level 0, when Garnet allows herself to bleed, the fluid outside of her body begins to crystallize where it is on her body, solidifying into a kind of crystalline armor piece that protects her from further harm. █ - Allowing herself to bleed for 1 post also allows her to form and secure the crystalline blade, creating her scythe until broken (look to Primary Weapon). █*LEVEL 1 ▬ At level 1, stacking with the previous level's effects, her crystallized blood armor spreads to create a spiked/jagged breastplate, arm cover and legs up to an inch past her knees. █ - At this level, she is able to create creatures up to the size of a small cat. █*LEVEL 2 ▬ At level 2, including what is listed in previous levels, a glyph appears beneath her and she gains a sort of levitation, resulting in easier and swifter mobility. █ - The evolution of levitation can be explained by what's remained of Garnet's original semblance development before gaining the Crystalline parasite; which was a form of levitation. █ - At this level, she is able to crystallize creatures up to the size of a wolf (or two small creatures). █*LEVEL 3 ▬ At level 3, along with previous levels' effects, she is fully encased in crystalline armor that has spilled from her body. █ - Furthermore, any blood that falls from her crystallizes and grows into spiked "trees" of sorts that spread out in five foot diameters; returning to blood splatter immediately after. █*DRAWBACKS ▬ It's only Her Own blood that crystallizes; she cannot crystallize/manipulate the blood of others. Too much blood loss though and she will fall into Feral state (See Faunus Features). █ ▬ She cannot use this feature for too long and/or past its limits though or risk her blood crystallizing completely; becoming a crystalline statue (see Symbiote section). █ ▬ If Bolortsetseg were to ever separate completely from its host, the host would suffer the painful crystallization of the blood and body, thus being transformed into a crystalline statue. █ ▬ It takes 1 post of bleeding to create a crystalline creature. █ ▬ Crystalline armor takes 1 post to create/dawn and lasts for up to 6 posts; 6 post rest. █*LEVEL 0 ▬ She can use her semblance 4 times before feral; 8 times before crystallized. █ - Creature Disappears after 3 posts; Needs 3 posts rest before summoned again. █*LEVEL 1 ▬ She can use her semblance 5 times before feral; 10 times before crystallized. █ - Creature Disappears after 4 posts; Needs 4 posts rest before summoned again. █*LEVEL 2 ▬ She can use her semblance 6 times before feral; 12 times before crystallized. █ - Creature Disappears after 5 posts; Needs 5 posts rest before summoned again. █*LEVEL 3 ▬ She can use her semblance 8 times before feral; 16 times before crystallized. █ - Creature Disappears after 6 posts; Needs 6 posts rest before summoned again.

Hi there, Silver! I had a moment, so I wanted to be your judge for today. Honestly, most of your profile looks absolutely stellar. A dangerous little friend you've made here. We're going to jump right into semblances because everything else was pretty clear and to the point.
• Crystal Creatures: So, level 0 has no creature. One has up to a cat, two has a wolf or two cats [roughly], did you want to include a variation on the crystal creatures in level 3? Or was that replaced by the presence of crystal trees? I feel like you still have a little leeway with your level 3, if you want to jump onto that subject. If not, then we can leave that where it is! - • I just wanted to confirm that aside from being made from crystallized blood, being mobile, and able to attack/protect, these creatures hold no special properties? This includes being able to communicate [not just controlled], relay information, or go a long distance away from her. If there are special properties you'd like to bring to light, please do so. If not, then we're golden on that front! I just need to know if there's a maximum distance the creatures can go before they just, you know, turn into blood/crystals.
Levitation: Just how high can the levitation take her? Unless it's borderline/becoming a flight capability, then that's fair game.
Use Limit: I got a little confused with your post/usage restrictions because you have three different systems going on at once. Armor takes 1 post to create, last for 6 post, then rest. This is at any level? The part I needed additional clarification on was "use her semblance x times before feral; x times before crystallized' Where exactly does the stipulation lie with this use? Is it specifically on post count, though you have fixed post counts for the armor and animals, or is this by chance between feedings? Like how she can go so many days without blood, though it can be hastened with the use of her semblance. If you could clarify, that would be wonderful.
At the moment, I cannot find anything else wrong. I, however, will give the profile another read once we talk/make changes to the currently addressed.
Sidenote: Wonderful backstory, it was a lovely read~

From Mistral they had traveled to the Kingdom of Vale, my sister at the time was young (around five-years-old during the fall).
About two years later, they had me (my sister was seven years old now).

█ ▬ She is also able to crystallize her blood into the shape of an animal that comes to mind for a certain number of posts. When her blood crystallizes into the desired creature, enough is left uncrystallized to allow the creature movement, controlled by aura (see drawbacks for how long they last). They do not possess any special powers and they can travel as far from Garnet as they desire; but stay fairly close to her person. █ - At this level, she is able to create creatures from the size of a bird/bat up to the size of a small cat. █*LEVEL 1 ▬ At level 1, stacking with the previous level's effects, her crystallized blood armor spreads to create a spiked/jagged breastplate, arm cover and legs up to an inch past her knees. █ - At this level, she is able to create creatures up to the size of a small cat like current, or to the size of a wolf. █*LEVEL 2 ▬ At level 2, including what is listed in previous levels, a glyph appears beneath her and she gains a sort of levitation, resulting in easier and swifter mobility. █ - The evolution of levitation can be explained by what's remained of Garnet's original semblance development before gaining the Crystalline parasite; which was a form of levitation to a max of 20 ft. █ - At this level, she is able to create crystallized creatures up to the size of a wolf, or up to the size of a tiger. █*LEVEL 3 ▬ At level 3, along with previous levels' effects, she is fully encased in crystalline armor that has spilled from her body. █ - At this level, she's able to create crystallized creatures from the size of a tiger, up to the size of an elephant. █*DRAWBACKS ▬ It's only Her Own blood that crystallizes; she cannot crystallize/manipulate the blood of others. Too much blood loss though and she will fall into Feral state (See Faunus Features). █ ▬ She cannot use this feature for too long or past its limits without risk of her blood crystallizing completely; becoming a crystalline statue (see Symbiote section). █ ▬ Feeding will restore the blood in her body, but won't make her able to create her armor more than the current limits set at this time. █ - Creature disappears after 6 posts after creation; Needs 6 posts rest before creating another one.
