Tsukiko is the fourth of the six children born to Midori Hoshiko and Takehiko Jirou under a bright full moon one spring. Born to a loving family, she was a playful and spirited cub; much to her siblings' displeasure at times. She showed particular interest in at a young age for adventure when she would try to follow her older siblings out into the city of Vale, getting lost at age four. Instead of heading back to the tea shop that her father ran or the bookshop that her mother owned, she walked all the way to the docks...Yukiko always found her and took her back kicking and screaming to the tea shop.
It wasn't until a year later, when her first younger sister was born, that she sort of began maturing and slipping into a big sister role, like her elder siblings. Like her siblings before her, their father taught them to defend themselves with a knowledge of how to use many styles. She had found she was primarily drawn to the ranged weaponry, more-so than melee, much like her brother. Of course now that she had a younger sister, she saw it as her duty to protect her, so she would stay home with her mother while her older sister helped with mother's bookshop. Though it was not without its challenges, she loved her oddball of a sister; not just because she was the only orange tiger faunus of them, like their paternal grandmother.
Unlike her elder siblings, three years later, she was not excited at first to be gaining another sister; in truth, she hoped for a younger brother after her many sisters. To help with the shortage on staff at each shop, she would assist after school for a few hours each day, then go upstairs to do her homework. When not working, in school or practicing with weapons, she would help keep her feisty little sister out of trouble...or help her to find trouble when they went exploring; usually in the form of messing with their elder brother, or exploring the forest.
It would seem that her family would experience peace and prosperity for years to come. When her youngest sister was three, and Tsuki was eight, with their family grown and money saved up, her parents had made the logical choice to buy an acre of land just outside of the commercial area, building a home to comfortably house their huge family. They lived there, in relative peace, and traveled to and from work.
When she was thirteen, she and her brother and father were hunting on a full moon night. She had managed to get separated. Not expecting to meet anything too dangerous, she was in a panic when she ran into a Boarbatusk! Having no weapon in her hand at that moment, she had prayed for a sword in her hand. To her surprise, she found a glowing longsword in her hand! Now, with weapon in hand, she parried the monster's charge with a dodge. This technique only needed to be done until her father and brother joined her, killing it together. She found her semblance that night.
Life was pretty much perfect, until she turned fourteen. The family was sleeping peacefully in their beds, when late into the night, Miya awoke to smoke. Alert and panicked, she woke her second youngest sister that she shared a room with and pushed her out of the window to escape. She and her siblings had watched in despair and horror as their parents disappeared behind a wall of flames. Their world was forever darkened by that night. Grieving, but determined to live, the three eldest siblings stepped up, assuming custody of the younger siblings, so they would not be separated. The loss, though devastating, only made the siblings stronger, together. Determined, and wishing to honor their parents, they worked to rebuild the house they once had and from the ashes of their home and parents, making a small garden in the back in their honor.

As she got older, she had always shown to have a gift for weapons. These two together soon would play a part in her semblance's convention in being able to create weapons from the light of the moon and stars that could take on any form of weapon at any one time. Due to the connection to moonlight, the weapons can be formed with a few unique abilities to them from the essence of the moonlight. As the semblance grows stronger, recharge posts grow shorter, her creations last longer, and eventually buff her physical weapons. █*LEVEL 0 ▬ At level zero, Miya is able to create one weapon of her choice at a time. This ability lasts for five posts. Moonlight enhances the sharpness of bladed weapons, and can imbue the weapon with a blinding light. █*LEVEL 1 ▬ At level 1, Miya is able to create two weapons from star- and moonlight, rather than one. The weapons are solid for five posts before shimmering out of existence for a while. The moonlight, as in the level before, increases the sharpness of the blades, but can enhance the accuracy of the ranged weapons her semblance allows her to create. Since it's made of light, outside forces do not hinder where it's going to go, where she fires is where it's going to go; though if it is a moving target, it will only hit where she had been aiming and not where the target had moved. █*LEVEL 2 ▬ At level 2, along with the effects of the levels before, she is now able to buff hers or others' weapons with the star- and moonlight. For example, for her rifle or her bow she is able to create ammo. This lasts for 6 posts at the maximum before a much needed cool down. █*LEVEL 3 ▬ (300-399 posts) █*DRAWBACKS ▬ Though it would only be visible/solid for as long as the moonlight and starlight was unblemished by cloud cover or storms. █BACKGROUND ▬
Tsukiko is the fourth of the six children born to Midori Hoshiko and Takehiko Jirou under a bright full moon one spring. Born to a loving family, she was a playful and spirited cub; much to her siblings' displeasure at times. She showed particular interest in at a young age for adventure when she would try to follow her older siblings out into the city of Vale, getting lost at age four. Instead of heading back to the tea shop that her father ran or the bookshop that her mother owned, she walked all the way to the docks...Yukiko always found her and took her back kicking and screaming to the tea shop.
It wasn't until a year later, when her first younger sister was born, that she sort of began maturing and slipping into a big sister role, like her elder siblings. Like her siblings before her, their father taught them to defend themselves with a knowledge of how to use many styles. She had found she was primarily drawn to the ranged weaponry, more-so than melee, much like her brother. Of course now that she had a younger sister, she saw it as her duty to protect her, so she would stay home with her mother while her older sister helped with mother's bookshop. Though it was not without its challenges, she loved her oddball of a sister; not just because she was the only orange tiger faunus of them, like their paternal grandmother.
Unlike her elder siblings, three years later, she was not excited at first to be gaining another sister; in truth, she hoped for a younger brother after her many sisters. To help with the shortage on staff at each shop, she would assist after school for a few hours each day, then go upstairs to do her homework. When not working, in school or practicing with weapons, she would help keep her feisty little sister out of trouble...or help her to find trouble when they went exploring; usually in the form of messing with their elder brother, or exploring the forest.
It would seem that her family would experience peace and prosperity for years to come. When her youngest sister was three, and Tsuki was eight, with their family grown and money saved up, her parents had made the logical choice to buy an acre of land just outside of the commercial area, building a home to comfortably house their huge family. They lived there, in relative peace, and traveled to and from work.
When she was thirteen, she and her brother and father were hunting on a full moon night. She had managed to get separated. Not expecting to meet anything too dangerous, she was in a panic when she ran into a Boarbatusk! Having no weapon in her hand at that moment, she had prayed for a sword in her hand. To her surprise, she found a glowing longsword in her hand! Now, with weapon in hand, she parried the monster's charge with a dodge. This technique only needed to be done until her father and brother joined her, killing it together. She found her semblance that night.
Life was pretty much perfect, until she turned fourteen. The family was sleeping peacefully in their beds, when late into the night, Miya awoke to smoke. Alert and panicked, she woke her second youngest sister that she shared a room with and pushed her out of the window to escape. She and her siblings had watched in despair and horror as their parents disappeared behind a wall of flames. Their world was forever darkened by that night. Grieving, but determined to live, the three eldest siblings stepped up, assuming custody of the younger siblings, so they would not be separated. The loss, though devastating, only made the siblings stronger, together. Determined, and wishing to honor their parents, they worked to rebuild the house they once had and from the ashes of their home and parents, making a small garden in the back in their honor.
Two years later, the pain subsided but never forgotten, Tsuki's focus was on school and training to be a huntress, wanting adventure and a chance to find herself. Her younger siblings start school for their choices, and almost seem like themselves. Her elder siblings work to run the tea cafe and bookshop in the commercial area of Vale. She helps on her days off of school though and whenever else she can.
Another year marks the third anniversary of her parent's passing, and her first year at Beacon. As leader of Team TRRA (Terror), the team lived up to its name (both in and out of school). It was a fun and dramatic learning experience and the bonds she made outside as well as in her team were priceless; even handling new, growing feelings. Learning to handle more...eccentric personalities than what she was used to at home, Miya had learned both patience and decision-making. Though some things have become clear, others have gotten more confusing. Their first of many missions bringing them ever closer to the dream of being hunters, she was proud of her team for their growth, but also concerned as some things got to be more...troublesome. How they handle the next year of school, well...that still remains to be seen.

█NAME ▬ Tsuki no Megami █AURA COLOR ▬ Dark Orchid █DESCRIPTION █ ▬ Ever since she was little, she had always had a strong connection with the night and the moon. As she got older, she had always shown to have a gift for weapons. These two together soon would play a part in her semblance's convention in being able to create weapons from the light of the moon and stars that could take on any form of weapon at any one time. Due to the connection to moonlight, the weapons can be formed with a few unique abilities to them from the essence of the moonlight. As the semblance grows stronger, recharge posts grow shorter, her creations last longer, and eventually buff her physical weapons. █*LEVEL 0 ▬ At level zero, Miya is able to create one weapon of her choice at a time. This ability lasts for 5 posts. Moonlight enhances the sharpness of bladed weapons, and can imbue the chosen weapon with the blinding light that makes it hard to look upon by herself and others. █*LEVEL 1 ▬ At level 1, Miya is able to create two weapons from star- and moonlight, rather than one. The weapons are solid for 5 posts before shimmering out of existence until after rest. The moonlight, as in the level before, increases the sharpness of the blades, but can enhance the accuracy of the ranged weapons her semblance allows her to create. Since it's made of light, outside forces (such as wind) do not hinder where it's going to go, where she fires is where it's going to go; though if it is a moving target, it will only hit where she had been aiming and not where the target had moved. █*LEVEL 2 ▬ At level 2, along with the effects of the levels before, she is now able to buff hers or others' weapons with the star- and moonlight. (For example, for her rifle or her bow she is able to create ammo. Or she can also enhance the sharpness of the blades on her war-fans, the radiance from the moonlight infused in the weapons themselves when it is used.) This lasts for 6 posts at the maximum before a much needed cool down. █*LEVEL 3 ▬ At level 3, along with the effects of the levels before, she can also choose to create her weapons with star-moonlight, the effect lasts for 8 posts max before having to cooldown. █*DRAWBACKS ▬ Though it would only be visible/solid for as long as the moonlight and starlight was unblemished by cloud cover or storms. Can only used at night and stronger from moonlight than from starlight. - At lvl 0: 3 post cool down/rest before using again. - At lvl 1: 3 post cool down/rest before using again. - At lvl 2: 2 post cool down/rest before using again; can only buff up to 4 weapons at a time (i.e. whether it be 1 from each on her team, two of her own and then 1 weapon for two of her team members, etc). - At lvl 3: 2 post cool down/rest before using again.
