    Bio:
This tribe is bases it's power on pure strength. Panthera is a very hunter gatherer style tribe, letting the men that display strength go on hunts, while the women are to gather herbs. They live in the mountains of Vale, only coming down when there are things that are needed. The believe in the purity of body, meaning if you lose a body part, you become useless, and you are ejected from the tribe. The main feature of this tribe is that all members are faunus of what is considered greater cats. For example, they are lions, tigers, leopards, jaguars, and cougars.

The tribe believes in using eugenics to attempt to make themselves stronger. This does not mean that they are creating children in labs, but instead they are trying to mix different big cats together to make "Stronger" pairs. Sometimes this is successful, others it is not. They are nomadic as their defense mechanism against Grimm.

    Current Tribe Leaders:
XxMark Anikó, head of the Panthera tribe. He is a lion faunus with the faunus features of a mane, ears, and claws. He leads most of the hunts.
XxStephanie Anikó, wife of Mark, Alpha female. She is a jaguar faunus with ears, tail, and claws. She is more Agile, so she is in charge of foraging, however, that will not stop her from ripping your eyes out.

    Notable Tribe Members:
XxIma Maguire (40 years old), Mother of Ivory Maguire . She is a Lion Faunus, with the strength to rip open grim with her claws. Her ears and tail show that she is a force to be reckoned with. She is a Beta
XxBardhyl Maguire (43 years old), Father of Ivory Maguire. He is a snow leopard faunus with a tail and balancing feats. He is an Omega who was paired with a woman of strength to create strong, agile child. However, when Ivory was born, he was agile, androgynous boy, who was labeled as an Omega by the tribe.
XxXxIvory Maguire (17), oldest son of Bardhyl and Ima. He is a snow leopard faunus with Snow leopard ears, a tail, and amazing balancing feats. When he was young, he was attacked by an Ursa, and thanks to his semblence, he was saved, however, this didn't save him from injury. He was sent to Vale, the tribe leader wanting him to become stronger, but then he lost his hand at beacon, he was outcast from his tribe.
XxRajat Maguire (16), a Snow Leopard faunus, and second son of Bardhyl and Ima. He was more successful than Ivory, being a hulk of snow Leopard. He is not only strong like his mother, but agile like his father. He rips things apart with his claws, but his only noticeable feature is his tail.

Bio: The Lugarian tribe was once a prosperous and self economical group of dog related faunus. They were once 39 in number, from children to elderly. The used to live off the land, foraging for survival, and would keep into their own numbers. Outsiders were never accepted, nor were any sort of outsider help, no matter when things through the year were through thick or thin. They would believe in peace over fighting, and believed firmly in family and serenity. Their serenity was so tranquilly deep, that they were naive of the outside world past their protective walls. Most of all, they were faulted with closed-minded traditions and rules, to a point it was close to atheism towards the darker sources of the world. Grimm.

Grimm were considered to be nothing more then vile, blasphemic creatures, only created to play tricks on the mind. They would certainly see them should any venture out, but were completely unwilling to acknowledge they were there. It of course resulted to the deaths of more than a few tribesman, and for each dearly beloved dead, they would mourn their deaths by either hanging their tails off the walls (if they were lucky to find them,) or etching their initials into a stone each member was required to carry. These stones were given to each newborn, their can symbol upon its round exteriors. They found them to be solution of protection against grimm (naive that they actually don't work.)
Their naivety met its match the day the son of the fifth tribe's leader had done the most awful. Going against their very beliefs by dragging a grimm into their beloved camp. The son met with permanent exile, and it was at first the simplest solution. It was chaos, as a few minutes of the son leaving the tribe, their downfall was met by an onrushing horde of Beowolves, with their only purpose to set their alpha free. The very same Beowolf the son was foolish enough to capture. At the aftermath of it all, the Lugarian were destroyed, all but one member, the exiled son responsible. The exiled was found by a man (who was later on to be discovered as the headmaster of Beacon academy) and taken into custody. Last known sources are unsure of the ex-members whereabouts. Little did they know he was closer then it appeared....

      History:
None still living know the start of the conflict with the butterflies, only that it was fought and those who fought for them. Led by their then leader Timere, the moths had fought a valiant battle against the cruel butterflies for the bountiful land that could not hold both of them. Both sides were roughly even matched, but under the leadership of Timere the moths felt emboldened and that victory was only a matter of time. All their hopes had rested on him; the one who personally led every battle even if he was not always the last to leave. They fought ruthlessly with a one for all mentality; if a few could be sacrificed to save the many then it was done. Wounded were not cared for during a battle as they were expected to fight till they drew their last breaths, and were left behind if necessary. Victory was their goal at all costs; each death was meant to have meaning once they claimed the promised land. Any dissent among the ranks was quickly removed one way or the other, and unlike the butterflies the males primarily fought. The women and children were left in the safety of their bases in order to ensure there would be more troops if needed in the future. And that there would be a generation left standing once they won. No elderly were spared from battle; all others would fight, even children once they were old enough. Though as the war progressed, single women were also brought into the war as well to bolster their ranks. They looked to have a chance of victory, capitalizing on the butterflies all for one nature... even if it only provided them a narrow advantage. However, that all changed in the Battle of the Oak. Amidst the battle and bloodshed, Grimm had found their way into the battle and Timere was lost in the fighting against Grimm and Butterfly. Demoralized and their general slain, the moths had retreated the field to try and regroup. They were not given the time they needed to recover, as there was no successor or moth equal in battle and strategy to Timere. From then on the butterflies won battle after battle...Until eventually the moths were forced to flee from the promised land into the more treacherous wetlands. The stories curse those who had ran when Timere fell, believing that if they had just pushed forward then and held to the man they may have won. Alas, that was not how history came to be and Timere's death signaled the beginning of the end of the war. Yet his war strategies still lived on.

The moths had to flee deep into the wetlands to escape the butterflies who were as intent to exterminate them as the moths had been for them. There were many losses but Timere's teaching remained forefront in the mind of every moth. They traveled at a brutal rate and sent squads of moths behind to delay the butterflies and mislead them. Those sent almost never returned. Anyone who could not keep up was left behind, and the weakest amongst them would be used to draw Grimm away when they were attacked and outnumbered. It was survival of the fittest, and they were doing their best to keep their tribe alive at all costs with his teachings in mind. Many would-be leaders sprang up during this time, but their reigns were always short; each tried to imitate the courage and intellect of Timere, and each failed in turn for over reaching their bounds. All that kept them from splitting and being preyed upon to the last was their hatred of the butterflies who did this to them and the memory of Timere. Eventually, it proved too dangerous for the butterflies to follow after them and they only had to contend with the wild life, terrain, and the ever abundant Grimm. Still, many were lost to the wetlands... until they finally found a defensible enough place that they made a stand in this deadly land. A place that would become their new home... fought for with blood, sweat and the lives of many a moth.

Life in the wetlands was not an easy one when they first claimed it, nor was it now. With how flooded the land was and all the dangers that lurked in the water, they had to adapt to make it habitable for them. Though they had the advantage of flight and wings, they could not fly forever. So they would construct a wooden village high enough above the water that even when it flooded they would be safe from the water, something they had suffered too many losses from in the past. They did not make it much higher than that as a few attempts had found them susceptible to being toppled in the water by the stronger Grimm who also inhabited this region. The moths had grown to be nocturnal in this hostile environment as the most dangerous of creatures would stalk the wetland at night. They needed to be to ensure they would be prepared for a nightly attack, of which was not a rare occurrence for them. That is not to say all of them were as such; the population was divided into a diurnal and nocturnal one to take advantage of both times of day while always being prepared. Both shared similar roles, but the dangers would be different. Which one a moth came to be was determined at birth by the eldest of the village; those who had proved too strong, wise, or cunning for the wetlands to claim as another victim.

        RPC's:
        - Members of this tribe are divided at birth between being day dwellers or night dwellers.
        - Until the coming of age trial, each child is merely called Nocturnus (night dweller) or Dirunas (day dweller) Puer (child). They are given a name once they pass their trial. Those who died during their trials or in protecting their tribe were called Honoratus Mortus (honored dead).
        - The language they use in terms of naming tribe members is Latin.
        - Tribe members are expected to put the good of the tribe above all else, including their own lives. They are constantly drilled since young not to fear death but defeat; victory must be obtained at all costs. They are also taught about the butterflies to instill the hated early, because the usual butterfly would kill a moth without mercy. Just like a moth would to a butterfly.
        - The tribe has had no contact with anyone save Grimm and the butterfly tribe (their eternal enemy).
        - All moths start out with wings as a feature and flight for their faunus trait. The only exception is if their wings were non functional from birth or due to a permanent injury.

          Current Tribe Leaders:
            Xx Callidus Animo (Male)
            Xx Feroces Viribus (Male)
            Xx Prudens Militaris (Female)

          Notable Tribe Members:

-Their greatest leader whose death led to the moths decline.
            Xx Miserorum Venunum
            - An outcast within his own clan due to him being a living message of what the butterflies are capable of.
            Xx

          Affiliations:
            XxRhopalocera tribe (Eternal Enemy)

Bio: If you stood atop the mountainous cliffs at the furthest northern point of continental Sanus and looked west across the sea, your eyes would behold the untamed and unnamed continent in the far distance. But between that continent and Sanus rests an island chain with much smaller islands around it on occasion. This island chain is 'The Tipped Spear'. And it is the home of The Nassirian Tribe. Originally, the Tribe was known as "The Golzar Clan", a tribe of purely bat Faunus who called the cliff islands their home. Using gliders that harnessed the powerful sea winds around the tipped spear, the Golzar Clan would travel between islands never drawing near the deep dark waters that surrounded their home on all sides. They were content to live there in isolation... Until a tragedy befell the world at large. The Great Exodus, as the newcomers called it. The era when the kingdoms of men attempted to isolate all of Faunus kind on the island nation of Menagerie. Due to their isolation, the Golzar encountered no humans, but during a great storm, several sea-faring ships with Faunus from Atlas who were bound for Menagerie washed up on their shores. Finding these refugees to be in desperate need, the Golzar refused to turn them away. Welcoming these outsiders to the island, the current leader of the Golzar clan, Behrouz Narissian Golzar, taught these newcomers the ways of the islands, and in turn... the newly formed Tribe was given his name. It would be decades before the clan encountered outsiders again during the Great war where Mistral and Atlas fought Vale and Vacuo. During that time, Soldiers of Vale used the easternmost tip of the tipped spear as a waystation for monitoring the seas and skies north of Vale in case of an impending invasion. At this time, The Narissian Tribe began to form trade relations with Vale, and after the war was over, those relations became official. With the islanders offering up rare and unique minerals and produce only found on the tipped spear, in return for unique technologies from the mainland. These trade relations have held, even as other nations have fallen to the Grimm, due in large part to the unique wind-riding abilities of the Narissian tribesmen, who are able to spot incoming sea Grimm from miles and miles away. Due to this fact, The Narissian Tribe continues to live in relative peace and harmony, using geography and wind-riding to keep the Grimm far from their shores, while occasionally sending their prodigal children to the mainland to train at Beacon...

Bio:A tribe of Arctic Foxes Faunus that used to reside in the continent of Solitas. This tribe has foundations almost as old as the earliest human settlers. As the kingdom grew and the Grimm attacks lessened, some members of the tribe wanted to get protection from the humans, but this was declined by the old Tribe Leader, thus beginning the hermit-like lifestyle of the tribe. The tribe trains it's young to fight at an early age, and then a series of specializations as they grow older. Most of the tribe members will have a focused role within the tribe once they're an adult, and this can range from a hunter, a guardian, a gatherer, clothes-weaver, etc. As the Leaders have changed, so does the philosophy of seclusion, the tribe has since then opened up, letting their young ones go to various places around the world to get more experience that they can share back with the tribe. As the kingdom fell and the continent abandoned, the tribe had no choice but to go to the protection of Vale. Around half of them decided to stay, stating that they'll try to hold down until the one's who leave are able to take their home back. Now they reside in the continent of Sanus, under the eye of Vale.

          The Glazeworth tribe
Bio: The Glazeworth tribe is originated in Atlas. Unable to adapt to the cold climate they were unable to modernize like the rest of the kingdom. Roughly 30 years ago they relocated to Vale in hope that the new kingdom would help them flourish.

The Glazeworth tribe is environmentally focused and they vowed to keep the streets of Vale clean. With the passage of time and war corrupting the potential lives of the Glazeworth tribe, the future of the clan was put first upon the move. With this, the history of their skills and proficiency in anything long-ranged for combat has been passed down from one clansmen to another.

In the matters of how the Glazeworth tribe works, every member is consisted of being all to close to it's tribe, before any can proceed to spread their wings. It follows it's own system of teaching the young with homeschooling, up till the age of 16, as well as keeping itself tied to the world, by cleaning nature of it's filth, becoming one of the best tribes for ensuring pollution is low through their efforts. Before any Glazeworth tribesman is able to see the world fully, they are trained in environmental studies, their history with their founding members, put into the core training of flight, Flight combat, marksmanship and long-ranged capability fighting, and basic knowledge of reading, communication, and adaptability to some fighting.
Their current troubles on modernizing is the change of environment, and for the 30 years of their move into Vale, they have been in these endeavors, learning to live among the compound areas, while slowly rearranging away from their older lifestyle. The compound areas themselves are upon small towns they have established in the outskirts, which in the long run has granted them the space needed for owning training areas for their clansmen, as well as areas for handling recycling and land fills for all the garbage in Vale. They one day wish to take all this experience, and branch out to all other places of the world, in order to keep the environment, and their parts into history, ongoing.
As a more internally compact tribe, unnecessary violence is cardinal taboo. As such, the Glazeworth have a ruling that forbids any tribes member from joining into any affiliations outside their tribe. This includes CF, any mercenary bands carrying death upon their hands, or any potential grouping that is harmful to their future. Other tribes have exception to this rule, should they provide ground reasoning. The Glazeworth are neutral in present, and loyal to noble causes.
Originated back to 90 years ago, the Glazeworth tribe may seem like a kooky, and eccentric bunch, but they possess the lineage of the skies, and the classics of combat that are bestowed generation, to generation. They are also a varied bunch, with their own tiny branches, each that have a different purpose to follow. As such, each Branch aside from the main branch, have their own specific last names as well, just as the main branch, Glazeworth, has a specific name sake. All of these tie to the founding leaders, who had assisted the 1st Glazeworth into making this tribe what it is.
Fairly small in size however, the Glazeworth is a slowly building tribe, that is possessed of odd, and specific kinds of bird faunus. More specifically: Seagull, Kookaburra,, Hummingbird, Woodpecker, and Sinchbills. Each bird group is a small, different branch of the tribe, with the Seagalia, or known as the seagull faunus, being the head branch. Each custom for the branches are as show

            Seagalia- Seagulls
-The Seagalia are the main branch leading the Glazeworth tribe. It is because of the original founding leader, Gullivan Glazeworth, being a seagull faunus himself, that each male Glazeworth is named after the founding member. Each female member must have Glazeworth as a surname, as well as a requirement of their name beginning with "G."
-The Seagalia are specialized in ranged and flight combatting, which was the original specialty of the founding member. Every Seagalia has a specialty in using guns, and are wonderful flyers. The most oddest thing that sets them apart from other branch members, is their omnivorous behavior of being able to swallow their food, and any food within one gulp. It is almost impossible for them however, to be able to spit the food back out. Such a thing as regurgitation, is a rare case. The laughter of a Glazeworth is an exact match to the animalia kingdom of seagulls. For modernizing theyre working on garbage reducement.

            Kookachuba- Kookaburra
-The kookachuba are the secondary branch from the Seagalia, that specialize in distraction, archery, and hunting technique. They are most known for with their distinctive laughing bird calls, which makes them specialists in distraction, as they are trained to throw their voices, and have been trained in the art of echo vibration. Unlike the omnivorous main branch, the Kookachuba are purely meat eaters, which help benefit their hunting techniques at young ages. Every female Kookachub are named after the first Kookachuba; Kookaria Kokobara. The males all have Kokobara for surenames, but after the respect of Kookaria's mate, every male has an "I" for their first names. The Kookaburra most wield bows and crossbow related weapons. For modernizing goals they currently are in midst of keeping shops in bounty of fresh meat by hunting in the woods.
            Woodrafalla- Woodpecker
-The Woodrafalla are axe using bird faunus, who are taught the ways of that particular weapon, and specialize in the destruction and harvesting of timber, as well as specialties with making above average speed of kicks and hand jabs. Every male Woodrafalla have the unique skill of learning entomology and herbology, while the female have the unique skill of excavating. Both male and Female are named after tress, just as the fore-founding members names had been. The first Woodrafallas were in fact twins. Willow and Rhododendron Lotus. What can set them apart from the other tribes most, is their unique style of communicating. Most Woodrafalla are mute, and are able to communicate through drum beat or tapping, almost like a morse code.
For modernization goals, they are working on the manual labor of assisting with Vale, trying to adapt to woodowrking related jobs, as well as tree cutting

            Patooshka-Potoo
The Patooshka are the most stealthy of the branches, specializing in camouflage, nocturnal combat, and are able to adapt themselves into different defensive strategies in situations. Their inability to camouflage and wield weapons with shields or daggers of no issue make them the defensemen of the Glazeworth tribe against grimm, and other foreign dangers. Their birdcall warnings to enemies carry a haunting note. Neither male nor female have any specific first names, but their surnames all possess Nightlily, after the memory of the first branch leader Sigmore Nightlilly. For their goals of modernization, this section of the tribe has been working on defense of Vale's streets, patrolling their compunded are of Vale from the harm of grimm
The patoo also help assist with composting when they are not on patrolling

            Humakogious - Hummingbird
The Humakogious are the fastest of the branches, more so detailing on their specialty of speaking to nature, following the paths of the wind, and the ability of transporting specialization. This in turn, makes them the carriers and escorts, of the Glazeworth tribes resources of food and water. It is because of their speed, that the Humakogious are all hyper focused beings, who excell mostly with hand to hand melee, and gauntlets. Female Humakogious are blessed with being naturally light on their feet, and are considered graceful dancers, after the branch founder Melody Freewind. Every member of this tribe is named after music and nature, with Freewind as their surnames. Not so great with flight and aim, they make up for it with strength, land speed, and hand to hand combat. The language of flowers are the heart of this branch. For modernization, the Humakogious are working to better the beauty of Vale's streets by floral and more botanic goals. Planting flowers where they can, and beautifying the streets for events have been their biggest benefactor.

Bio: The Yowlumne Tribe of Vacuo had first formed during the threat of the Great War, for purposes of trade and protection of valuable water and dust sources. Created from five Clans: The Yowlumne, The Sandford, The Rosenburg, The Maylis, and The Nuntis; consisting both faunus and humans alike, they were rather neutral until threatened to be removed from their territory due to water sources being as valuable as dust by outsiders not from Vacuo. As time passed and Grimm grew increasingly troublesome, the tribe would move their people to the undergrounds of desert caves; living a nomadic lifestyle until they would eventually come across and settle in an underground cave with a rare source of water to live by.
Though each clan is responsible for their own peoples they all look to the Alphas (tribe leaders) for final decisions if disputes are brought to them. Every child is seen as precious and the births celebrated in the normally unforgiving desert. Like their parents before them, the young children are taught the importance of water and how to use it. Though they are also brought up to learn other skills. Some learned the art of farming and using the water as such, others to hunt and gather what foods the desert provided, some create armor and weapons of simple means, some learn to create things such as the buildings they temporarily lived in. Some had taken on the role of a tailor, learning to sew clothes, curtains and even sand-sails.
The main values of the Tribe are: knowing the importance of water and why it must be protected; choosing a life skill to focus on and how each skill is important to have to work together and survive; how one comes of age; and how to use the weapons made to protect oneself and their fellow tribesman/woman.
*Market Days: A few of the older kids and adults travel in a caravan to the closest city from their current territory in order to sell their wares (things the tribespeople created) to outsiders, or non-tribespeople and buy materials they may need that they could not normally get from their environment.
*Coming-of-Age test: To be able to hunt and kill a Grimm (this does not have to be alone as the test-takers usually have to work together to take on a Grimm)..
*Views on life and death: It's a natural part of life, though one does not truly die, they are merely taking on a new form of energy. The energy that exists in all never dies, and therefore can be born again in someone or something new over time; ever ongoing, though it is not always certain what, where or when.

            Night Stalkers

            >≛ Bio
The squad was created by a warrior who possessed a weird semblance.. He was a knight who was blind and his semblance involved seeing through others such as the lies people told, and their aura in a way similar to heat vision. While non-combat in use, it had many reconnaissance and information gathering purposes. This caused him mainly to have night missions. Eventually, he came across others with similar issues of oddity. People with more abnormal semblances or who possessed weird traits in which others passed on them when it came to combat partners or help on missions. Many knights during the time loathed these people as their semblances seemed useless on the surface… He decided to create a squad-based on this. A squad based on abnormal and obscure semblances whose primary focus was recon. It took off and overtime they became successful in completing tasks and missions for Vacuo. However, they would come across an issue. The Reveley who had great power in Vacuo. To have such a powerful recon team around and not under their strict control seemed troubling. At first, they were denied eligibility to be recognized as a legal organization. Not knowing whether still being together would be seen as legal or not…the idea of masks were introduced. Each member made a mask whose shape resembled an animal and attached long hairpieces to the back to obscure their identities while together. They met at night under the stars to avoid detection and took great inspiration from the tribes of Faunus that were around.
They continued to meet in private, becoming like siblings to each other and watched each other back. They even trained and held festive events together. Of course, word came about them and a decision was going to be made. Fortunately, the decision would have to wait thanks to the occurrence of the Great War... One night, while gathering, a patrol of night stalkers was one of the first ones to catch on to the rumors. The rumors about the final offensive against Vacuo. Whether they were believed or not, history does not remember. At the end of the event, during the rebuild, the night stalkers were recognized as an official squad reaching their end goal. For those who died in the Great War they held a funeral ceremony in which all the masks of the dead were thrown into a pit fire, a tradition taken from the tribe of its founding member. The blind magical knight Chief Xcoutal Cheshire and his legacy lives on in the masks of the night stalkers and their Captains who takes the title of Xcoutal.
The Tribe went on as scheduled, continuing tradition but always had an unspoken alliance when it came to one of the main powers in Vacuo which were the Reveley. They stayed out of each other ways and while Reveley were more powerful they would say they were equal to an extent. But to the eyes of the public they seemed to be two opposing forces. One of strength, courage, and power. The other of recon, shadows, and invoking fear. This would come to an end when eventually an official alliance was created between the Night Stalkers and Reveley. The Night Stalkers were given their seat at the table but they would not be seen as Nobility. Not all of them. Only the leader of the Night Stalkers could the nobility run through. This Created the Xcoutal Nobility and changed the Night Stalker from being just a tribe of family into the personal task force of the Reveley Nobility. Some say the Night Stalkers sold out. Others feel they did what was best for Vacuo. Opinions don't matter in the grand scheme of things. Only the results.
            >≛ Tribe Philosophy:
The squad focuses on protection and rule using the night. As their name suggests, they are most activate at night and tend to be secretive of most of their work. They look for people with more obscure semblances but do pick knights who have basic ones if the application is obscure. For example, a fire affinity who focus is more on thermal manipulation would be accepted over the standard fire user who got basic fireballs. They are strict by a code and while lax, rules are to be followed or be kicked out. They keep their identity secret, as some missions they do require spying on others. They stalk the night, watching over like owls in a forest. Under the night stalkers, everyone is family. When one is hurt, we All hurt. When one bleeds, we all bleed. While helpful to all squads, missions are primary focus. If a member of another squad is hurt, we help if able. But if it can cause you to fail your goal, they must be ignored.

Bio: The Ailbhe clan is a notoriously reclusive family of faunus who pride themselves as hunters and fighters. Due to their lack of trust for outsiders to their clan, the family spent the majority of their history nestled in a fertile valley between mountains where they raise their own cattle, crops and build their own weapons. Originally they were a simple people, taking great pride in their strength and often raiding coastal cities and villages, challenging their strongest residents and taking them as mates. Through this process the clan eventually began taking in strong hunters with more to offer, expanding their horizons with technology and academia. As time went on they began to search for places to settle for a permanent space for their growing family and eventually nestled in their valley.
For all their advancements in raising giant cattle, enormous crop plots and even home schooling, the Ailbhe clan never abandoned their pride in strength and still enjoyed hunting as a sport as well as necessity. The strongest among the clan acted as the leader, most recently the longest reigning leader has been Freja Ailbhe, the red horned rhino, famed for killing a nevermore with her bare hands. For nearly forty years she has expanded the clan's horizons by encouraging more trade and attempting to (somewhat) convince her clan to interact with outsiders and lend the clan's might in any effort that gets them closer to their homeland valley in Mistral.

              History:
The Rhopalocera Tribe is a tribe of butterfly Faunus living secluded from the rest of the world. As such, they are strangers of modern technology. While quite advanced in medicinal herbs and procedures, they live by the old customs and rituals set by the very first of their kind. The butterflies culture revolves around honor and integrity. They praise honor, valor, and vigor above all else and frown upon cruelty, selfishness, and disgrace. They believe in the innocence and beauty of the world they have been blessed with and as such, they believe in protecting its purity. They are fierce and ruthless when they need to defend themselves or protect their home, but at their core they are a peaceful people ready to spread love and kindness wherever they can. The Tribe is lead by its five elders, praised as the noblest, strongest, and wisest of them all. All of their elders are women, and each has to prove their strength in a series of trials to prove the capability. They are the most esteemed warriors of the tribe, but they can be challenged by others if members feel they have been unjust. The elders fight hard to keep their respected titles and above all, to ensure the prosper of their beloved Tribe. Women are trained from a very young age to be elite, fiece warriors, never to be mistaken or underestimated for their delicate elegance or mesmerizing beauty. They protect their people and defend their homeland with grace. Meanwhile, men are trained in the other arts of their tribe: blacksmithing and healing. While they have no modern technology, it hasn't stopped them from advancing in these skills. The butterflies are known for their beautifully crafted weapons, lovely as they are lethal. They are also known for their vast knowledge of herbs and their healing properties and are vastly skilled in the delicate precision of medical procedures. While their trials are very different, girls and boys alike participate in their first trial at the tender age of ten. If they are successful in passing their trial, they get the insignia of Rhopalocera tattooed upon their body as a show of pride and respect. For the male children, they begin their apprenticeships in their chosen trade, be it medicine or blacksmithing. For the girls, they are gifted with their first weapon and are taken on by a mentor who will continue to train them and hone them into elite warriors. If the child fails, they are not cast aside, but trained and disciplined further until the succeed. As they advance, they face a new trial each year. Each success helps them to progress and move through the ranks.

The Tribe planted its roots deep within a lush forest in Vale. The forest itself is surrounded by treacherous and dangerous wetlands that are near impossible to survive in. The true promise land was the beautiful greenery that they had claimed as their home hudnreds of years ago. They defend their borders diligently and ruthlessly from their mortal enemy, the moths of Tiner. The beginnings of this merciless war has been lost to the ages. No one remembers much of how it started, only how it progressed and ultimately, how it ended. Countless battles were fought and heavy losses were taken on both sides. Fields of wildflowers were left littered with bodies, lush grasses stained crimson. For years the rival tribes seemed to be at a stale mate. Neither moths nor butterflies had taken a lead. With every victory there was a more gruesome defeat. With every step forward, there were two steps back. The moths had a distinct advantage, due to a mindset the butterflies found barbaric. While the moths were willing to sacrifice lives to ensure victory for the tribe, the Butterflies had a more all for one nature. No life was worth sacrificing and they fought to ensure the safety of each and every tribe member to the best of their ability. These ideals of honor and integrity, were things they believed the moths could never understand. Each life had meaning and purpose beyond death. Each life was worth saving. Those that died for the sake of the tribe were honored with heavy hearts. The butterflies risked their lives further to collect the fallen warriors of their tribe, to bring them home and return their bodies to the earth and their spirits to the sky in an old and beloved death ritual. So why no one knew why the war initially started, it wasn't hard to guess with the vast differences between the races. With every skirmish, every ambush, every battle, it became more and more clear that there was no room for peace. The moths were brutal barbarians, sadistic and cruel in their ways. The Rhopalocera Tribe would never choose to affiliate with them and were sworn to protect their homeland from what they saw as a devious culture. Not that it would matter, for hatred ran deep on both sides and a chance for peace would never come. Too many lives had been lost. Too many hearts had been broken. The pain ran too deep and old grudges were not so easily forgotten.

It was The Battle if the Oak that really changed the tides for the butterflies. It was a vicious, bloody fight and they lost more lives in that single battle than in the past five years of the war itself. The negativity of the battle, the heartbreak of watching loved ones fall around you, it drew the grim to the battlefield. Amongst their fighting, they found themselves ambushed by the showdow creatures called grimm. It was in that moment that they were forced to drop their feud and turn their weapons against the beasts instead. Rhosyn, the oldest and strongest of the elders was renowned as the only reason the Rhopalocera Tribe made it out of the raging battle at all. She fought bravely, taking to the frontlines calling out orders as she dove head first into battle. They lost many while warding off the grim, but many were saved because of her selflessness. The injuries she sustained in the bloodshed were lethal. Not even their most talented healers could save her. She passed later that night, after leading her people back to the safety of their homelands. It was a devastating loss for the butterflies. The grieved her loss and honored her sacrifice. Fear and panic was beginning to spread through a people that were often so bright and optimistic. How were they supposed to go on with out her? How were they to defeat the moths without her skill and guidance. However, in the moment that darkness had seemed to swoop in and nearly devour them... the tides turned. For it wasn't just Rhosyn to pass in the battle, but another great leader. Timere of the Tiner tribe also fell that night, and without their leader, the moths battle tactics quickly fell apart. It wasn't long after that the butterflies defeated their enemy, pushing them back into the wetlands once and for all. They celebrated their victory with a grand ceremony, crowning a new Elder to take Rhosyn's place. It was Aiyana that helped the other elders lead the butterflies through these final battles, and she that helped the Tribe to settle in after such a long and bloody war. Though, even in the victory there was not complete security. The moths were persistent, buzzing around the edges of their territory, stealing their rations and supplies. There were ambushes and small skirmishes, but the butterflies held the upper hand now. They defend their homeland with the same fierceness they always have but have since settled into a relative peace where they have been allowed to once again rejoice in some of their more tender and beautiful ceremonies and rituals. They lived harmoniously within their forest for years to come, but as the presence of grim became a rising threat, the elders knew they must make changes in order to keep their home and their people safe. It was with the warning if a stranger, a man they'd found at the brink of death surrounded by grim near their borders that the first decrees were made. Butterfly warriors who had come of age would be put through a new trial, one that would test skill and tenacity alike. Those that passed would be sent to Beacon Academy, to learn the ways of the huntress and become more capable in fending off the grim so that one day they could return and defend their home.
