First Met:X At home. Thoughts:X 'She's equally as ambitious as me and knows how to take care of herself. She gave me my first pokemon, a weak zubat I'm sure she didn't want. We both want to become strong trainers so that we can locate our missing sisters. Though, I regret that I don't have a very good relationship with her.'

Its almost as if she knows it irritates me when she calls me Silvano instead.'
Notes:X Silvano wants to build a better relationship with Maria, although it's his supercilious attitude and negative disposition towards Pokemon that keeps her away. She knows exactly what sort of person he is and will probably always be.

First Met:X During one of the many business meetings arranged between their fathers. Thoughts:X 'Niara has been my friend for as long as I can remember. She was quiet at first, but then began to open up and became a lot more outgoing and darring around me. She was the first to suggest venturing outside while our fathers talked! Whenever our fathers got together at fancy hotels -- or even each others' homes -- to discuss buisness opertunities and investments, Niara and I got to spend more time together and in turn it strengthened our relationship. Honestly, I think deep down, Niara's more courageous than me. Its a little tough to believe me, I know, since she tends to shy away from others she's not familiar with, which is usually evident whenever we're in a large group. I care for her a lot and I hope I can continue to look for her while at the Academy.'
Notes:XThey became fast friends and staved boredom off together. Their families have a close partnership, and so they've also got future plans for the two. Fortunately, Silvano and Niara will have some plans of their own.

Thoughts:X 'Faye and I come from the same city, but strangely enough, I didn't get a chance to meet her until we were a little older. I guess its not too surprising when she and I didn't see our own city much. We would spend time togehter while our fathers talked, and we ended up becoming quite close. She's one of the Rhoades, a renowned family rich with talent and beauty. I can't lie, Faye is as pretty as she is talented and I unequivocally respect her on both fronts. I plan to spend a lot of time around her at the Academy. Maybe if I'm lucky, I might learn something from her.'

First Met:X Café Salvatore, after her brother, Masaki, pushed Iris to make some friends. Thoughts:X 'I find myself hanging around Iris more often than not. She has a sort of sanguine personality that draws you in. I have to admit, before meeting Iris, I had a lot of doubts about Pokemon and slowly she seems to be changing my mind -- much to my dismay. I don't exactly know what it is about Iris, but she keeps me in a good spirits. It's tough being my usual cynical self around her. Though, I absolutely cannot stand seeing her around my enemies. She's perhaps a bit too friendly towards them. Regardless, I intend to keep her as a close friend and will continue to keep an eye on her.'
Notes:X He thinks very highly of Iris, who like Maria, got him to like pokemon a little bit more. He ended up giving her his cherry soda stained jacket as well as a few push dolls (Laprus and Flygon). He enjoys hanging out with Iris and wants to see her become more outgoing and less shy towards others.

If he hadn't of found me in the forest and stuck by my side, who knows what would have happened to me. I owe Nirav and his pokemon a lot. He's a hard worker and can be independent -- helping out his family on the islands. I hold a lot of respect for that. So far, Nirav is the only guy I consider my friend.'
Notes:X They have become pin-pals and stayed in touch through out the summer. They would vent to each other about their hardships through their letters. Silvano also expressed interest in visiting the Sevii Islands someday. He let Nirav keep his old jacket, since Nirav didn't have any coats to keep him warm during the colder months and also wanted it to remind him of their friendship.

I'll show him. I'll build the strongest pokemon team imaginable and run him into the ground. He'll be forced to admit that I'm right.' ]
Notes:X There will be a fierce rivalry between these two and will likely have many battles over the years. Marco seems to understand Silvano's true character.

Skylar also seems to share a similar mindset as me; a sort of realist outlook. If possible, I'd like to better get to know her, that is, if she'd let me. She seems very distrusting of others -- me included.'
Notes:X She seems like a smart and respectable person and has a similar background as Silvano. She seems to hate the idea of friendship for some reason and wants to be alone. For this reason, Silvano is unsure if he wants to make the effort to get to know her, especially when he's not sure what he could gain from her.

• Ambition is Evil: He has little compunctions about doing what he has to in order to increase his power, status and reputation —the emotions and feelings of others be damned. He is use to employing gambits to gain an upper hand over his peers. • Bad Boss: He has a tendency to treat his pokemon like tools and cares very little for their actual wellbeing —let alone feeding them because he has a habit of forgetting about them in their pokeballs. He only cares that they don’t outlive their usefulness as he will abandon them otherwise. He has a particular dislike for pokemon he perceives as being weak or useless in battle. • Big Brother Instinct: Despite his outward dislike for Artesia, he wants to look out for her as he feels it is his job as her older brother. Therefore, he doesn’t much like the idea of boys hanging around her and will make an effort to chase them off if he has to. He also doesn’t much like the idea of Sky rubbing off on her. • Bishounen: Tall, a thin frame, slightly androgynous with a pretty face. His puppeteer actually really dislikes this trope. • The Casanova:With good looks and a charming facade, he has a bit of a knack for manipulating others, particularly females. He is actually quite charismatic. • Character Development: Starting off as a cold, supercilious, entitled, aristocratic jerk hidden under the thin veneer of a stoic, cultured, well-to-do socialite, Silvano gradually begins to develops into a more empathetic and understanding individual, especially after he begins to harbour a sense of remorse when various individuals have positive influence on him. Though, he still has great difficultly accepting and admitting to his flaws; such as his extreme jealousy and vindictiveness, of which he vehemently denies. • The Chessmaster:Taught to manipulate others and with no shortage of ambition and guile, Silvano won’t shy away from using (sometimes underhanded) tactics to obtain whatever it is he desires. • Chronic Backstabbing Disorder:Silvano has a penchant for betraying people at some point in order to achieve his goals. If you work for him, hire him, or care about him, watch out — chances are he's just using you. However, that may not always be the case if he legitimately cares about a person or has fallen for them. • Consummate Liar:Seems to be good at reading others and telling them what they want to hear in addition to glorifying his own faux cause. He also has a penchant for sugar coating his words, intents, and truths. • The Corruptor: He is able talk others into taking his side if given the chance. • Don’t You Dare Pity Me!: Silvano hates the idea of being perceived as weak or helpless (even to himself) and is thus very reluctant to accept or even ask for help. It often becomes the source of conflict for him, leading to his many arguments with Maria and even Cyril who legitimately want to help. It’s also the main reason he has a very poor relationship with his sister, Artesia. Silvano does his best to hide his weaknesses and struggles — often times in denial — as he strives to maintain the outward image of a capable and independent individual. Inwardly, he absolutely detests sympathy from others as it confirms that person’s perception of a fault. It’s yet another mentality his father had instilled in him. • Even Evil Has Loved Ones:Silvano legitimately cares for those he is emotionally invested in and will stand up for them or protect them when he has to. His emotions in this regard will sometimes get the better of him, even though he usually has little empathy. His extreme jealousy is proof of such. • Crazy Jealous Guy:He can't stand seeing other guys around the girls he's taken a liking to. Thus he seems to always pick a fight with them and becomes over protective of the person he is seeing. • Faux Affably Evil: Silvano can easily put up the guise of a kind, sympathetic and reasonable person and while he is capable of forming attachments with others, those who see through his deceit will have little reason to trust him. • Hair-Trigger Temper: He eventually grows out of this trope as he gets older and learns to mask his emotions, but there are still things that will absolutely make his blood boil, even despite his best efforts to maintain the veneer of a stoic gentleman. He tends to break his calm persona in the presence of his rival, Marco, or whenever he becomes overly possessive of the one’s he’s become close to. When Cherry Soda was once poured over his head, he also couldn’t prevent himself from flying into an outburst of rage. He also tends to snap at Maria whenever she points out his personality flaws or what’s bugging him. • Has a Type: He tends to have a thing for girls who are shy, quiet, soft-spoken or unconfident in themselves. Those with bold, overbearing or flamboyant personalities he tends to stay away from. • Hidden Agenda:His manipulation and toying with the emotions of others serves a much greater purpose than what Silvano initially lets on. While most would assume it has something to do with aggrandizing himself, he actually refuses to reveal his more well-intentioned motives out of his resentment for pity. • Iconic Outfit: Silvano has a preference for wearing double breasted, black leather jackets and is usually always seen wearing them when not in his school uniform. These types of jackets are synonymous with him. He ended up giving one to Iris after discarding it when it was ruined by cherry soda. • Jerkass: For the most part, Silvano has little regard for the feelings of others and is selectively kind to those he thinks he can benefit from being around (if they aren’t already a close friend). But for those he’s completely written off, he can be a bit of a bully, outright heckling them or reminding them of their worthlessness or his resentment of them — of course not usually in the face of those he’s trying to win over. He also tends to pick on his own sister whom he thinks is incapable of ever being independent. • Jerk with a Heart of Gold: Silvano legitimately cares for his sister, Artesia, even though the two don’t have a good relationship due to each others’ perceived favouritism among their parents as well as their unfair treatment. Deep down he wants to honour Artesia’s wish to locate their missing sisters, thinking it will reunite and reconnect their family as well as serve as the basis of making amends with Artesia for having treated her so badly in the past. Though, he chooses to maintain his outward dislike for her as he cannot admit that his hatred for her was misplaced. Another example of this trope will be his decision to make Ray an exception to his loathing once he learns he could have possibly prevented the death of Ray’s sister but didn’t act on it. His remorse makes him feel indebted to the boy, although he tries to hide this from others. • Kids Are Cruel: Silvano is heartless towards his pokemon as he barely regards them as living things. He once kicked his fainted Zubat after it had lost to Maria’s Lillipup during the Lamia tournament — which is rather unforgivable. He also rarely remembers to feed or look after them and almost never lets them out of their poke balls, except for battle or when Maria or Cyril gets on his case. • Lack of Empathy:As long as he can continue to pursue his own goals unabated and unhindered, the suffering and struggles of others are hardly of his concern especially at his own hand. However, he will make exceptions for those who matter most to him, though they may still end up hurt in the process and he’ll end up regretting it later. • Last-Name Basis:Silvano has a strict preference for others to address him by his last name only. However, he’ll make exceptions for close friends, family, and those he is infatuated with. When he considers someone special to him he will prefer that person to use his first name instead of his last and will take significant offence and become indignant if this request is refused. • Manipulative b*****d:In order to provoke the response he wants, Silvano will toy with the emotions of others. He has difficulty seeing others as little more than extensions of his own will, as evident in the way he treats his pokemon as tools. His grandiose nature and inability to empathize with those who he cannot relate to makes him all the more conceited. • No So Stoic:Despite his often calm and cool demeanour, it tends to crack wide open in the presence of his rival, Marco, or whenever he sees his female friends hanging around any guys he greatly dislikes. He also won’t hide his disgust for pokemon. However he gets better at hiding his emotions as he grows older. • Pragmatic Villainy:He will sometimes go well out of his way to be kind to a person or restore relations usually in an attempt create mutual respect or spark a friendship between them, though not usually without ulterior motives. • Pride:His pride keeps him from reaching out to others for help and even more reluctant to admit he's got a problem; such as his Pokemon falling ill or disobeying him. He believes that his superiority has always been plain to see and does not usually deign to mingle or socialize with those he feels are vastly inferior to him. • The Rival: Silvano is this with Marco, whom he’s decided to become a stronger trainer than just so he can prove that pokemon are subserviant tools and that only some of them have potential. He only becomes more and more determined throughout his time at the Academy. • Royal Brat: Coming from a well-to-do, aristocratic family, Silvano tends to think of himself as being from a higher social echelon than his peers and tends to come off as entitled or spoiled. He’s never had to work for an allowance and doesn’t give second thought to throwing away an expensive jacket just because it was soaked in cherry soda. He tends to pick and choose who he deems worthy of investing his time into (usually to gain knowledge or leverage over others). Those he perceives as worthless or weak often become the target of his ire, someone he wouldn’t deign to treat kindly. • Skewed Priorities: Silvano has no interest in being a trainer, save for the perceived glory from getting good at it like some kind of passing interest in a sport. Nor does he care to explore the different regions and collect pokemon like his older siblings chose to do. He also has little interest in any facet of the pokemon world. He came to the Ordell simply because of a promise to his sister and because he wanted to follow after Maria in order to get her to like him. Though, he does find Ordell to be an interesting departure from his regular studies — much to his father’s contempt. • Social Darwinist:Silvano believes that society and humanity at large should be guided by an absolute leader in order to keep the masses’ uncontrolled emotions from ruining the elites. • Sore Loser:Inwardly, he hates losing. One time after losing a battle to his friend Maria in the Lamia tournament, he kicked his fainted pokemon out of frustration and outrage. • Stalker with a Crush: When he becomes infatuated with someone, he tends to want to be around them more than he realizes and when that someone turns down his advances he only becomes more determined to pursue that person. • The Stoic:Beyond a put-on mild mannered politeness, Silvano speaks in a reserved tone, rarely getting excited or angered. • Straw Hypocrite:He speaks a lot about empowering females, defining them as more superior than males, but given that he is something of a glorified pick-up artist, it's fair to say that these beliefs are questionable at best. • You Gotta Have Blue Hair:It’s naturally purple for whatever reason.

X⇒ LOCATION : ... XXXXXXXXXX⇒ WITH : ... Blending in with the others on the dance floor, Silvano was genuinely having a good time for once. He had quickly forgotten why he was ever upset in the first place which had been his main reason for coming to the Halloween party to begin with. Feeling pretty confident in himself, Silvano's gaze turned to the others at the side of the room as he stopped dancing. It seemed as though the room had become even more filled with people than when he had last checked. Although that thought alone was somewhat intimidating, at least gave him some more options when it came to picking someone to perhaps dance with.
Shifting his gaze around the room, Silvano soon spotted someone familiar, wearing a green and red dress that he distinctly remembered. It was Iris, and the mere sight of her confounded him. What was she doing here? Wasn't she busy getting lost in the mansion? Maybe she was done with it? Perhaps she would also be willing to speak to him now? Though interestingly, she wasn't alone. There appeared to be a girl in a white dress-like uniform standing beside her. For some reason she seemed really familiar to Silvano but he couldn't initially tell how since her costume sort of disguised her. Curiosity getting the better of him, Silvano decided to head on over to the two girls.
"Iris, what are you doing here?" Silvano initially asked his green-haired friend upon stopping in front of her table she was seated at. "Maybe now you'll be willing to speak to me." He then added indignantly before shifting his attention to the girl beside her. Studying her face a moment, it quickly dawned on him who she was. "Nira... is that you?" He asked, his voice sounding incredulous. "I haven't seen you in a long time. I missed you." He admitted openly, giving the light-haired girl a warm smile. "We really need to catch up with each other sometime, but for now, how about we enjoy this party." Falling silent for a moment, Silvano then looked at both girl for a moment, lost in thought. "I'm thinking of heading back out onto the dance floor, would either of you like to join me?" Inwardly, Silvano knew that both girls were probably a little shy to dance, but he figured he'd ask then anyway. Maybe they'd be willing to if it was with him.
Turning his back to them, Silvano then began to make his way back to the dance floor, hopefully one or both girl would follow
