Each one serves the important purpose of hosting pokemon battles and tournaments where trainers can test their strength and bond with their pokemon in battles as well as contests! All are welcome to come and prove their might in the stadium, but be wary no battle is easy.

Are you ready to test your mettle in Leoconoe District's Tag Team Tournament? Then come right up and show us what you're made of! In this tournament participants will be entering in teams of two. You are not alone in this tournament meaning you must work together with your partner if you hope to win. The more participants we receive the greater the prizes for everyone! So join us in this most exciting Tag Team Tournament!

If you'd like to participate in the Tag Team Tournament then there are two ways of doing it. You can either RP your character coming up to the Registration Booth and filling up a register form OR you can have your character register using their PokeGear (this can be done from anywhere). Regardless of how you decide to register, you MUST fill out the form below and include it in your RP post. If you would like to register for the tournament, but don't have a partner to register with then you may write "Random" in the Registered Partner section. Once the registration closes, the players who registered without a partner will have their partner randomize from other players who do not have partners.

X⇒ LOCATION : Lotto Booth XXXXXXXXXX⇒ WITH : Iris It was really rewarding to see his friend smile so brightly before taking the Lapras plush from him. She looked really pleased with it. Her reaction filled Silvano with a mixture of warmth and delight. It was extremely gratifying knowing that he could make her this happy. "You're welcome." He smiled back at her, almost smug with satisfaction. "But what's wrong with feeling spoiled?" He asked her, mock-seriously before going to check his phone. He barely knew the meaning of being spoiled. It was always a pleasure to be given really nice things, but something told him that his friend might not have been quite as use to it. Not that it was a problem. As long as she was his friend, she'd probably only continue to be spoiled.
After checking his latest text, Silvano wasted no time telling Iris what it was about. He felt about as surprised as she was that there was going to be a tag-team tournament. It sounded like something they couldn't miss. "Indeed." Silvano nodded back at his friend. "It sounds pretty interesting." He then commented before asking Iris to be his partner. Silvano didn't take his eyes off the Flygon when he gave her a moment to think over her answer. He was dead set on Iris being his partner, especially since she had won the last tournament, which made her a valuable ally. So in his head, he was already working out a way to make her say yes. However, he wouldn't have to. Iris had already agreed to being on a team with him. Suddenly, there was a glint of tenacious satisfaction in the Salamence's eye. "That's correct! We'll be the strongest team -- and together we will take first place." He told Iris, mirroring her same display of determination and enthusiasm. The idea of winning was absolutely euphoric. "I have no doubt we can do this." With that Silvano began to take off for the stadium. Though, before he could take another step, he sensed Iris move closer to him before he felt her take his hand. A light hue dusted the boy's face as he looked back at Iris in silence as they walked. He was hesitant to believe that she had decided to hold hands with him. Was she not worried that one of their peers might see them? What if rumors started? Trying to push that thought aside, Silvano inwardly told himself not to worry about the others. Wasn't walking hand in hand suppose to be the proper thing to do with a friend anyway? Correct?
Once at the stadium, Silvano had led Iris on over to a booth that their peers were beginning to crowd around. Getting the booth attendant's attention, the Salamence received two pieces of paper from her. They were sign-up sheets for the tournament. Turning back to his friend, Iris, he passed her one of the sheets. "Once you fill this out, hand it back to the attendant." He told her, before passing her a pencil as well. Quickly, he began to scrawl out the information necessary for signing up for the tournament. After he had completed it, he waited for Iris to complete her'e before handing his in. He was still slightly distracted.

Iris followed beside Silvano as they made their way to the near the stadium. It was something about lugging her plushies with her that made the trip a little more fun but also added the the risk of just getting lost or slipping. Because of that Iris interlinked her arm with Silvano until they made it to the booth. The two had already decided on being partners. Once they had both signed, all they had to do was wait for the tourney to start and it would their climb to the top. Silvano was agreeing with her about them winning the event as a team.
Iris waited in line as Silvano was filling out the form. He was handed one and gave her another. As he was writing down stuff, so was she. Iris smiled when she finished and handed the paper to the attendant.
"Ready." she chirped.

Niara was a little nervous about coming so far out from the academy. But it was a new place to see like the day she came to the academy! With Mitus in her arms in his own little winter wear, she made her way up to the registration boards at the stadium. Though she figured she would also try to find a new friend to add to the team. Mitus could only do so much on his own but they had to try. We can really try, Mitus! We just need to prepare! She gave her young friend a bright and happy smile before they made her way to the boards to register.
With registration done, she had to figure out where she could go to find a new friend. Maybe someone nearby knew? Or maybe a local? She wasn't sure which she should start with. Though she was more busy spacing out over the thought. So much so, she hadn't even noticed Iris and Tony in the area as she went to hand her registration form in.

Marco spent the whole walk over to the stadium wearing a red face. As they decided to head to the registration booth when they were in the lottery game earlier, Maria had grabbed his hand. This wasn't the first time that he held hands with a girl before, but he was more conscious about the act than his previous experiences. He felt nervous like he was a robot or something so his movements were strict. Luckily, the actual trip didn't take too long and Marco was able to temporarily forget about his heated face once he saw the stadium. His eyes lit up and a smile appeared on his face; the stadium was huge! This stadium was about the same size as the one in the Lamia district, but there were definitely some differences in design and style. His heart started racing a little faster and he squeezed Maria's hand in anticipation. "Wow, this tournament looks like it'll be a lot of fun," Marco commented, but this was mostly to himself since he was remembering his previous experience with a tournament. The Lamia District's Little Cup tournament had been a huge event for him due to everything that occurred in each battle. Facing against Feya was what allowed him to really enjoy the tournament. She was so focused and determined to win that she had drawn out his competitive spirit. His battle with Tera had finally allowed him to express his feelings of wanting a friend and he was able to confess those feelings to Tera; he had made his first real friend. His following battles against Iris and the red-haired girl (Kirsi) taught that he still had a lot to learn about battles and himself. They were strong trainers and the fact they made it to the top was clear to him; he had to reach that place too and maybe today would be that day.
He was feeling a lot less nervous now so he turned to Maria with a smile. "Let's go sign up, everyone's probably entering," he then started guiding them towards the registration booth. He had nearly forgotten that he was holding her hand. There were some people in front of them so Marco tried to take a peek to see how long it would take them to sign up. They should still have plenty of time, but Marco was just a excited and he wanted to sign up right away. If he was thinking more carefully then he would realize that he could just sign up using his PokeGear instead of going to the registration booth. However, the black-haired boy's mind was a little clouded right now as he thought about the tournament and wondered who he would be facing in battle.
X⇒ LOCATION : Lotto Booth XXXXXXXXXX⇒ WITH : Iris, Niara, Maria, Marco Hearing Iris tell him that she was ready, Silvano gave her a nod before handing in his completed registration form just as she had done. They were now all set. The last thing they had to do now was wait until the tournament was due to begin. Though, Silvano had no idea when that was going to be and just what he and Iris would do to pass the time. "I guess all there is do now is wait." Silvano told Iris, taking a step away from the booth. "Though, I have no idea what we should do in the meantime." Falling silent, began to contemplate his options. He thought about maybe taking Iris over to the skating rink, but was hesitant about doing any skating. It was something he had never tired before and was sure it wouldn't go well. As he thought about this more, Silvano's thoughts were suddenly interrupted when he spotted a familiar face walk by him and Iris. It was Niara and she had Midus with her too, wearing a little outfit to keep the pokemon warm.
A thin smile appearing on his face, Silvano decided he and Iris should go say hello. "Looks like Niara is signing up for the tournament, as well. How about we go say hello." Silvano told Iris, figuring it had been awhile since the three of them had talked. Unsure of Iris' decision, Silvnao had headed on over to greet his childhood friend. "It's good to see you again, Niara. How have you been?" Silvano greeted the light-haried girl, offering her a friendly smile. "I didn't think you'd be interested in the tournament. But I'm glad to see you and Midus are willing to give it a shot."He told his friend, feeling really curious as to why Niara had decided to sign up.
Waiting on Niara's response, Silvano's gaze began to scan his surroundings, looking to see if he recognized anyone else who was signing up. There were a lot of unfamiliar faces hanging around the area, so Silvano was quickly loosing interest. That is until he did spot someone familiar. Stiffening, Silvano's breath hitched in his throat when he spotted Maria and Marco walking up to the sign-up booth together. It was as if all emotion had suddenly drained from the Salamence's face as he got unsettlingly quit. While it was already off putting to see those two hanging together -- much like how they did back at the train station -- it was even worse now that they were holding hands. Inexplicably, Silvano felt a wealth of bitter animosity rising up inside him. Although Silvano couldn't identify what he was feeling all of a sudden, it was pure jealousy. Bitting his lip, Silvano couldn't take his seething glare off the two. Just why was HE being so close to Maria. She wasn't his friend. She was Silvano's close friend, and she probably already knew just how much it bothered him seeing those two together. Was Maria doing this on purpose? Or was it Marco trying to get under his skin? Considering how much they didn't like each other, it was possible that this little stunt was completely intentional.
Turning away from Iris and Niara, Silvano clenched his fists closed tight before taking off without a word to either of his friends. At this point in time, Silvano was completely tunneled visioned, only focusing on his enemy rather than anything else around him. It didn't take him long to march his way over to his fellow classmates.
Stepping out in front of Maria and Marco, Silvano had stopped them before they could even reach the tournament sign-up booth. Both his hands were clenched at his sides, and his eyes, filled with rare, were locked on the Charizard. "You..." Silvano growled as he pointed at Marco accusingly. "You have no right to be with her." The taller boy snapped, making sure his point was loud and clear. "She's my close friend and she doesn't need to be around someone as disgraceful as you." Falling silent a moment, Silvano's mind raced to think of some way he could get the Charizard to promise that he'd stay away from Maria. The Salamence thought of threatening the other boy in some way, maybe exclaim that his father would have the other boy expelled. But then a new idea had come to the forefront his Silvano's mind. A much better idea. He'd challenge Marco to pokemon battle and embarrassed him in front of the other students right here and now.
"Marco, if I beat you in a pokemon battle, you will promise me to stay away from Maria." Silvano declared his challenge aloud. He didn't have any terms in mind for if he lost the battle, but it hardly mattered. He knew he was going to win. There was no way Marco's pokemon were stronger than his. "Now hurry up and choose your pokemon!" Narrowing his eyes at the other boy, he wasn't about to let Marco go anywhere without a battle. They had already locked eyes.

The registration booth was only a couple of steps ahead. Registration for the tournament was bound to close soon so Marco was thankful that they were able to make it on time. The black-haired boy smiled as he ready to step forward and sign up with his partner, Maria, but his smile disappeared when they were stopped by a very angry looking Silvano. Marco didn't understand what was happening, but the animosity coming from the stuck up rich boy surprised him; he temporarily stopped. Silvano pointed at him, a rude gesture since they were often told to not point at people, but his classmate probably did not care at that moment. Marco didn't know what he had done so he remained quiet as he tried to figure out why he was being threaten. The boy was used to confrontations since he experienced them a lot from the kids that picked on him back in Celestic Town. However, Silvano's approach was different because he was coming at him with anger while his bullies normally approached him the intention of making fun of him. Marco squeezed Maria's hand since he was feeling nervous. When Silvano finally stated his reason, Marco was actually shocked, he didn't want him to hang out with Maria. The nervous feeling was replaced with a new feeling, perhaps anger?
Marco stepped forward not feeling nervous, but he was definitely confused and ticked off. "What's your problem? She's my friend too," the black-haired boy responded clearly upset about how Silvano was acting. Marco did falter a little when he realized that he boldly declared Maria his friend; it was still a little embarrassing of him to say he had friends since he had been without them for so long. He released Maria's hand as he stepped forward and towards Silvano to match him. "You don't control me and you don't control her either." Marco continued, but then Silvano challenged him to a Pokemon battle. At the mention of a battle, his Pokemon quickly joined his side. They had been watching the interaction closely in case there was any danger placed on their friend. However, once the word of a Pokemon battle were shouted, they knew that they could step in because battles were their territory. Marco did not hesitate, he knew what he needed to do so he locked eyes with Silvano, he could not afford to run from his battle. "I accept Silvano and if I beat you in battle then you will leave us alone," He wasn't going to let a dangerous guy like Silvano get near Maria, she was his friend and he would protect his friends. Murkrow flew forward and placed himself in front of Marco. The dark-haired boy smiled at his Pokemon and then glared at Silvano. "I choose Murkrow. If you've chosen your Pokemon then let's start!"
The people around the stadium and the registration booth watched the events unfold. Several of them looked at each other confused, were these children really going to battle out here? The parents looked concern while the kids and even some teenagers looked pumped to watch a battle. They didn't hear the whole conversation, but all the crowd needed to know was that there were two boys who were battling over a girl. The scene before them was like watching a soap opera which made it immediately enticing for several of the people present. Thus the people gave Marco and Silvano proper room for their battle. Nonetheless, there were some people who watched with concern, wasn't a battle in a populated area dangerous?

Silvano could hardly recall a time when he had ever let years of inner rage and jealousy come to a head like this. In a way, it felt almost surreal, like what he was doing wasn't really happening and yet it was. None of his actions really made sense and were something he couldn't take back and certainly never would. He couldn't deign to admit being at fault or how immature he was currently being. The other boy on the receiving end would just have to learn that certain things were going to set him off. One of those key things being him hanging around Maria. In Silvano's enraged mind, Marco, a degenerate in his skewed opinion, would only influence his childhood negatively and would be nothing but detrimental to her. How could he let her hang around someone as terrible as Marco, who was known for getting into trouble?
Silvano watched in silence as Marco stepped towards him, understandably agitated now. His eyes were still locked on the dark haired boy as he made his retort. Did he really have to ask what his problem was? Wasn't it obvious enough? Silvano's eyes only narrowed. "She's not your friend and quit thinking that she is!" He snapped back, ready to throw harmful words Marco's way. The aristocratic Salamence did find it interesting that the other boy seemed to falter after making that remark of his. Perhaps Marco was starting to realize that he was only fooling himself about his friendship with Maria. Besides, how long and how often did those two hang out? It barely mattered. Silvano's anger began to ally some when he watched the other boy finally let go of Maria's hand. "I have a lot more control than you think. Do you even realize who I am?" Silvano boasted, his eleven-year-old ego clearly showing. "If I wanted to, I could have you or Maria sent away to another school. It would only take one word to my father." Silvano then continued with his hollow threat. Of course, he really didn't have that kind of control over Marco or Maria, but desperately wanted to.
Challenging Marco to a battle, Silvano noted that the other boy's pokemon were already on board with the idea. Maybe that was just the nature of pokemon for you; tools for battle and not much else. "Glad you accept."Silvano smirked, pleased that Marco had decided to oblige him. "I promise you, I won't lose. So I'll agree to your stupid terms."He then answered, knowing that even if he lost this battle, he wouldn't be leaving Marco and Maria alone. Heck, he'd try harder to keep those two apart. Reaching into his bag, Silvano dug out the Great Ball that contained his newest pokemon; Sneasel. He still didn't quite know the pokemon's strengths and weakness, but was certain it wold be strong against a fragile looking avian pokemon that Marco picked. "Go! Beat that Murkrow into the ground with your Scratch attack!" Silvano commanded as he threw his pokemon's ball, wasting no time in getting their battle underway. Appearing in a flash of light, the female pokemon let out a loud confirmative yell before charging at the Murkrow with it's right claw raised. Leaping into the air, the Snealsal brought down it's claw upon the other Dark-Type, hoping the pokemon wouldn't have a chance to escape.
Sure enough, more and more students and teenagers began to gather around the two boys locked in a battle in the most unlikely of places. They must have been interested in the commotion, on top of the fact that no one was suppose to be battling outside of the Stadium. It was absolutely dangerous to be battling among crowds of people. Thankfully, most were smart enough to clear out of the way and give the two boys space to duke it out at. This was a terrible idea on Silvano's part, made even worse when his rival choose to enable him. Sooner or later, they were bound to get caught and likely be given some heavy handed punishment for their blatant disregard.

As they got to the stadium Maria looked around. It was just like the stadium at Lamia District. When he mentioned signing up she thought about telling him they could just do it from their PokéGear. However they were already at the stadium so it didn’t hurt to do it in person. Maria paid little mind to the fact that she holding Marco’s hand. That was until Silvano came storming over as she felt Marco squeeze her hand. Silvano certainly seemed to be in a mood. ‘What is his problem…?’ She thought. Before she could think much on it he started in on Marco.

Maria barely realized that Marco had let go of her hand as he questioned Silvano on what exactly his problem was. She was too busy trying to figure out what gave him the right to say Marco couldn’t be her friend. The nerve of him… Maria found herself getting rather upset over the Salamence’s words. “I…”The brunette went to start but between the two boys she couldn’t get a word in edge wise. “I can choose my own friends Silvano!” She retorted, her words falling on deaf ears most likely. Oh how badly she wanted to say he had no right and no say on who she could or couldn’t be friends with. However she wasn’t able to get it all out. Instead she was left with her blood boiling and her thoughts reeling. Maria was brought back to reality upon hearing the next exchange.

“Guys stop!” Maria cried out. They couldn’t battle over her. That was stupid and pointless. Unfortunately her words went on being ignored. “Pup?”(Battle?) Lillipup barked with excitement as if it was directed at her. “Lillipup no,” The Flygon looked over at her Pokémon. The pup looked up at her trainer and Espurr still tucked in her coat. She understood there was something bigger going on here. Battles however got the brown pup a little over excited. All Maria could do was watch Murkrow and Sneasel battle a senseless fight.

Iris agreed with Silvano when he said that the most they could do now was wait in the meantime for the tourney to start. Right around the time Silvano started thinking about what to do til then, Iris was doing the same. Could they drop off their won prizes and explore the district some more. She had someone mention that even during winter that this place sold Ice cream and other creamy cold confections. That has sounded lovely. Iris was pretty lost in thought until Silvano mentioned and motioned toward their common friend Niara going to sign up for the tournament."I haven't seen her in what feels like forever." Iris said glee as Silvano made the suggestion to go greet her. Iris followed beside the boy as the two greeted the girl. "Hey Hey Niara." Iris chirped after Silvano said his own greeting.
The moment was pleasure. At least Iris thought it was as the three of them stood there. However, the that ambiance did not last long as Iris had a gasp and then footsteps walking away. Iris didn't think much of it until she heard Silvano's once more. This time the tone was not calm and his words friendly. Iris approached to see an angry Silvano looking down at Marco as him and Maria appeared. Iris was stopped before she could wave to the two. It would be an understatement to say that Iris was surprised by the words the boy was saying to Marco. Suddenly Silvano was bringing out his pokemon.
"Wait a moment..." Iris said but her voice was not loud or quick enough as Marco brought his own pokemon and the the two started to battle enough.
Iris was unsure of what to do as she didn't like how and what the boys were fighting were battling their pokemon or the words Silvano said.

He knew what Marcus was going to do, or he was afraid imagining what it was going to be. Eli ran after his friend from the stalls of games and fun, but the crowd was making it difficult to keep following him. He could bring out Poochyena but he left her muffler at the lodge and it was colder than she would be used to. He stopped and took a moment to look around at all the faces, but Marcus wasn't there,"Oh no..." He pushed his hair back in disbelief, he wouldn't be there with Marcus to stop him. He and Kirsi had already gotten in trouble a few weeks ago, if it happened again...,"Okay...okay...first calm breaths...calm...crap it's cold out here..."deep calming breaths in this weather didn't feel very calming, like he ate an icicle. He could see the stadium from here looking around. Maybe Marcus would find the girls there? Knowing Koru she would run just to check it out. He turned and ran to the stadium.
Almost like he was hoping to find something he saw familiar faces, Maria and Iris watching Silvano and the Marco guy battling. He ran up and stopped at Maria's side, switching his focus between the girls and the guys battling it out,"Hey Maria what's going on here? This isn't for the tournament is it?" Probably not a bad assumption, getting a little training in before the main competition, but they seemed really mad at each other. It was even stranger to see Marco having a glare similar to his own.,

Location: Leoconoe Stadium - Registration booth
There was no more time for words. Silvano summoned his Pokemon which was a Pokemon that Marco had not seen before. The black-haired boy, who was currently wearing a beanie, took out his PokeGear to scan Murkrow's blue opponent. "Sneasel the Sharp Claw Pokemon. Sneasel scales trees by punching its hooked claws into bark. It seeks out unguarded nests and steals Eggs for food while its parents are away." The pokemon seemed to be cunning yet hold a savage disposition considering they liked to steal eggs from unguarded nests. Somehow this Pokemon seemed to fit Silvano very well, they could both be very cruel. Sneasel was a Dark- and Ice-type Pokemon and Marco thought it was a little ironic that his Murkrow was a Dark- and Flying-type Pokemon, but clearly one of them had a disadvantage. Marco was not a slacker in his Pokemon Battle class, the type chart had been drilled into his head by mister Reyes' class and he knew that Ice-type moves were super effective against Flying-type Pokemon. In this case, his Murkrow could be in trouble if Sneasel knew any Ice-type attacks. He didn't know if Silvano had any actual battle skills which meant that anything could happen at this moment. However, Silvano did not waste any time to start as he ordered his Sneasel to use Scratch attack.
"Murkrow counter with Peck!" Marco countered Silvano's attack with his own as his avian Pokemon charged forward. The two Dark-type Pokemon met mid-air as their attacks clashed against each other. The impact of their attack caused a small shockwave to happen, mostly just wind being pushed out in all directions. Marco glared at Silvano who was looked equally or even more upset than him. The two boys stared each other down, they were young and their emotions controlled their every action; perhaps a battle between them was always meant to happen considering how opposite their opinions were from each other. If not about then Maria then perhaps they would be arguing about something else -anything else- and the results would have been the same. The two boys really did not like each other and maybe this first battle between them was the start of many more to come. Maybe they would fight over Iris next or perhaps Skylar; anything goes at this point.
Meanwhile, Murkrow and Sneasel were hot at each other's trails. The two Pokemon continued to exchange blows with a Peck or Scratch attack. Murkrow could soar into the sky to escape Sneasel's reach and dive down when he needed to attack. However, the Sneasel was clever and it could leap into the air several feet. The two Pokemon seemed to be pretty evenly matched as they moved about the "battlefield". The crowd of people that were gathered watched the fight, but even they were starting to back away whenever the Pokemon got too close. Pokemon Battles were no joke, there needed to be a good field large enough for the Pokemon to move without any worries. When Pokemon battled they did not hold back and depending on the attack, they could seriously hurt anyone that was close to them. This battle between the two boys was immature and dangerous, but at the same time they were still kids and this certainly prove that.
The commotion caused from the battle reached his ears. He would be lying if he said that he wasn't upset at the two boys who were the source of this trouble. Since the announcement of the tournament, the dark-haired man had been stationed at the registration booth. He smiled whenever he saw a young face entering the tournament; this was a beginner's tournament after all. This tournament was targeted for the young students who wished to test their battle skills against fellow schoolmates. It was a fascinating sight to see a person grow right before your eyes and it was during moments like a Pokemon Battle that trainers grew the most. At least that was his opinion which was why he was more than happy to wear a fake mustache and sunglasses while working at the registration booth. He didn't want any of his students recognizing him because he wanted to see their honest expressions when entering the tournament.
His disguise seemed to have worked for the most part since the students had yet to recognize him. Everything was going smoothly until he noticed that the registration booth became empty and that the crowd that was once present was no more. It seemed that everyone's attention was drawn to somewhere else. Almost like a sixth sense, he felt the upcoming battle and once he heard the sounds of attacks and the gasps of random people from the crowd he stood up. Walking out from the booth, he stepped towards this street battle. Much to his surprise, he saw two students from the Academy which he knew well enough and sighed somehow not as surprised anymore. He walked up to the battle and noticed some other students present. He happened to overhear one of the students asking if this was part of the tournament. "No, mister Abney. This is not part of the tournament. Your classmates are just causing a lot of ruckus." He patted the young boy's head, "please watch over the girls for me. I gotta give those boys a stern talking to." Antonio removed his mustache and sunglasses to reveal his identity to the students present. He smiled at them and then head into the battle.
"Stop the Pokemon and do be gentle," Antonio spoke to the Net Ball that he pulled out of his pocket before he tossed it into the air to summon his Pokemon. From inside the ball emerged an insectoid with red metallic exoskeleton. He had giant claws for hands and in an instant he closed the gap between him and the two Dark-type Pokemon that were fighting. Using his claws he grabbed Murkrow by his beak and grabbed Sneasel by her claw which prevented the Pokemon from using their moves. Scizor was an intimidating Pokemon and surely Murkrow and Sneasel would be able to feel the difference in their strength. Antonio approached the boys with a stern look on his face. "You two are in big trouble. You're causing a ruckus and placing people in danger by battling out in the open without a proper battlefield or referee." He crossed his arms and waiting for the boys to explain themselves.

[[First Post]] Apparently some humans were causing a scene near a dome where said tournament was going to take place. Thanks to her good eyesight, Fong the mienfoo noticed the gathering of crowd as she and her partner were quickly approaching the place as fast as they can—or atleast it was true for the latter’s case. Fong barely moved any muscle on her from her position on top of her partner’s head, but she did exert most of her strength to her arms and paws in order to prevent herself from falling off to the cold hard ground. Fong barely paid attention to the commotion because she had little to no interest in human and their silly conflict. The only think that perfectly caught her attention at the moment was the upcoming tournament which her partner had signed her up for. It would be a great opportunity to test her skills against other pokemon and see how much she had improved in the past several months. The corner of her mouth visibly lifted in a smirk without her realizing.
“I’m late, I’m late, I’m late, I’m late!” Oblivious to the commotion going on, Xiatian was running down the walk path while shouting repeatedly in worry. Oh, please, please, please tell her this was the right place! She doubted she had much time left to retrace her steps and take several different turns from before, because that would mean she would be truly late to the tournament and would be automatically disqualified for it. NO WAY! Fong, her pokemon partner, was looking forward to this tournament ever since it had been announced and the pigtailed girl had made sure to complete the registration through her pokegear, so they wouldn’t have to get in a very long line at the booth. She had hoped they could sit down and relax a bit at the dorm before the tournament started; however, due to her own carelessness, she spent too much time on exploring the district and only realized the time when her partner pointed it out. Another valuable lesson learned, but please don’t let the consequence be too harsh!
Running past the commotion, Xiatian headed over to the doors of the dorm and stood there bending forward with hands on her knees and breathing hard. “Puff…puff…I…we…puff..finally…puff…here…hah….” In response, Fong silently gave her partner a thumb up and then procceded to jump down onto the girl's backpack and zip it open. Digging through the stuff, the mienfoo grabbed a handful of candies and then ate them one at a time as she waited.
