Hobbies:
Digital Art
Heather has been drawing since she was in elementary school, keeping the stacks and stacks of old note and sketchbooks in her room. As she grew older, however, she moved from traditional art to digital art. She feels that it gives her more freedom in her work since if she makes a mistake it is easier to fix or to undo. Just press a button and it never happened. It also allows her to use textures and patterns that she wouldn't be able to create otherwise with the use of overlays and masking settings. Whenever Heather has a feeling that she needs to work through, be it good or bad, she sits down with her laptop and tablet and goes to work, drawing her feelings until she has it figured out.

Wicca
Wicca itself isn't so much of a hobby as much as a lifestyle, but the work she does to help her practice is a hobby. When she goes out, she keeps a watchful eye out for items that might help her in her practice, such as agate coasters that can be used as offering plates, or marble serving bowls that she can use as chalices. Even things like herbs and materials that she's never seen before and wants to try in spellwork. Another way that this manifests as a hobby outside of her official practice is that she is always looking for crafts that she can merge with her faith. For instance, on Pinterest, she might see a decorative spring wreath. Heather would modify it to include silk flowers that are sacred to Ostara and incorporate specific colored ribbons and even beads to imbue it with magic. She loves to use this hobby to hand-make gifts for loved ones based on her faith. If someone that she knows is going through a rough time, she may make them a necklace with rose quartz beads to heal their hearts, or a fluorite pendant to help filter out all the bad energy that they have swirling around them.

Coffee
It doesn't sound like much of a hobby until you realize that Heather often goes out of her way to find unique blends of coffee and analyze their flavor. Yeah. Analyze. It's not just about enjoying a cup of coffee for her. She knows exactly what flavors she can expect from what beans and how roasting changes that flavor. She can tell if a brew is rich and smoky or earthy and acidic. Beyond just black coffee, Heather also likes to experiment with creamers and flavorings. She is a royal terror at coffee shops, ordering complicated drinks and sending them back if they are not 100% correct. She even has a little old espresso machine that her mother found and gave to her on the counter in the kitchen. She loves to host coffee tastings with this machine in her mother's kitchen, splurging on fancy roasts and making elaborate drinks for friends and family. Even Max get's a little something, though it's usually very cool hot chocolate with the same flavorings as the older people in the room. She shares this love of coffee with everyone that she loves, often meeting people at the door with a hot cup of love!


Virtues:
Dutiful
When Heather has something that she needs to be doing, she does it. No questions asked. Maybe it was her upbringing that helped her to do this, after all, she was and remains every inch a mother and father to her baby brother. She learned responsibility from an early age, her mother always being worn down from having to work took jobs just to put food on the table. Out of undying love for her mother, she took on the mantle of parent and gave her baby brother the emotional attention that their real mother could not. This carries over to her everyday life as she always does exactly what is expected of her without question. This is handy as a worker and a student, of course, but this also makes her a very dependable friend. When she makes a promise to someone, she keeps it and follows through as best she can. If a friend needs her then if she can swing it, she'll be there.

Friendly
Heather has almost never met a stranger. Just friends that she hasn't gotten to know yet! Whether it's in line at the check out counter or on the bus across town, Heather will strike up a conversation with anyone at all and try to make friends. This has made her extremely easy to get along with and finds herself moving easily in and out of many different social groups. People also find it very easy to trust her and tend to let their guards slip around her. She has also found this trait to be very handy in solving disputes between people because she has a knack of keeping tensions low and the emotional climate friendly.

Optimistic
The glass is always half full. Always. And if someone says otherwise, well then at least there is some water, right?! Heather is always painfully optimistic, and no one can make her otherwise. Really, it's a way to stay sane. Heather has had a bit of a hard go, but even in the darkest night, she can manage to find the stars. This has helped her keep her calm in situations where other sights have broken down when then mom is at work and baby brother is crying for food. At least Heather has something to feed him, even if it isn't haute cuisine. And enough for herself too! And there is always coffee drinks for dessert! If the schoolwork is getting too hard, then well hey, she's gotten this far, right? How hard can another chapter be? Another semester? Another year? It's raining outside, but without rain, nothing would grow! And once the rain stops (and it always stops eventually) then the world smells and feels so fresh. Heather stays sane by keeping an eye on the brighter side of life.


Flaws:
Stubborn
When Heather gets an idea in her head, it's damn near impossible to get it back out. This can make her impossibly optimistic in the face of all negativity, and it can also make her like a bulldog with problems. However, there is a darker side to this trait. Once Heather makes up her mind, it will take an act of God to change it. Which means that if she had decided that someone is good news or bad news, that is just that. There is nearly no changing it. This also means that if she thinks that what she is doing is right, it's going to be hard to get her to try and do something else, even if what she is doing isn't working. Heather would rather beat her head against a wall until her skull caved in than admit that she is wrong.

Quiet
For all of her stubbornness and friendly nature, Heather is very quiet about all of it. Often times, Heather prefers to keep her mouth shut and her ears open than to speak, and while this can sometimes seem like a benefit, it often means that she is overlooked and left behind. After all, how can someone know your opinion if you don't make it known? This can also make her seem rather aloof since she doesn't voice many of her opinions or emotions but rest assured. Heather has many many feelings. The good news is that once she gets to know you and she trusts you, her quietness melts away a little bit, though never totally. She will always play it very close to the vest and never tell anyone everything that she thinks. Call it a defense mechanism if you want, but she calls it caution. Letting everyone know everything isn't always the best course of action.

Overly Cautious
Are you sure this water is sanitary? It looks questionable to me! Heather always looks both ways sixteen times before she crosses the street. She always double, triple, quadruple checks things before she acts. She is overly prepared and overly worried at all times. This seems like it can be a good thing, however, it has often times lead to panicked freezing. Did I do everything that I was supposed to do? Did I forget something? What if's swirl around her mind like a whirlwind, and more often than not, this comes into direct conflict with her stubborn nature. She's on a one-track thought, but then something comes along and puts the brakes on. But she wants to keep chugging. But what if. But no keep going. This is what causes the panicked freezing over competition between her cautiousness and many of her other personality traits. For instance, if she felt a sense of duty in a place or fashion that she felt was dangerous, her over-cautious nature would be in contention with that sense of duty and cause her to freeze and she would either end up doing nothing or she would proceed with extreme caution. This extreme caution may cause mistakes and oversights to be made. As a young adult, she is working hard to over come this cautiousness, and most of the time it is limited to hesitation and over-preparing.

Sailor Scout Attack:
Moira Root Anchor
Moira calls out the name of her attack and points at a target within 5 feet. From the earth, magical roots coil around the legs of that target up to about their knees. Roots also grow up around Moira's legs to about the same height. This anchors both parties in place but it also has a secondary effect. The roots drain 10% of her target's energy and transfer it to Moira. The effects of this drain are up to character players. The energy that Moira absorbs only gives her an energy buff it does not heal wounds, nor does it numb pain. The roots last for 15 seconds if they are not broken, and after that time passes, they simply vanish without a trace. If a target is strong enough, they can break the roots. If this happens, the roots around Moira's legs vanish and she is not able to absorb any more energy. She can use this attack up to three times in a battle.


Super Sailor Scout Attack:
Moira Root Whip
Moira calls out the name of her attack and pulls from the earth a ten-foot long root whip. This new attack allows Moira to move around while she casts it, but it also allows her target to do the same. The roots drain 15% of her target's energy and transfer it to Moira. The effects of this drain are up to character players and while the whip is not meant to do any damage if the player wishes for the character to feel stinging from the strike, they may. The energy that Moira absorbs gives her an energy buff as well as numbs minor aches and pains and stops the bleeding from surface injuries. The roots last for 30 seconds if they are not broken, and after that time passes, they simply vanish without a trace. If a target is strong enough, they can break the roots. If this happens, the whip vanishes and she is not able to absorb any more energy. She can use this attack up to three times in a battle.


Eternal Sailor Attack:
Moira Root Disruption
Moira calls out the name of her attack and flings her arms out to the side. With her at the epicenter, roots coil and twist out, close to the surface of the ground. This root system disrupts the terrain around her, breaking up the ground and upending anything just sitting on top of it. This system of roots also pulls energy from the earth and brings it back to the center of the system, giving anyone at the epicenter a 20% energy buff. This buff also stops bleeding from minor injuries and numbs aches and pains. If someone is on their last legs, this may also give them a second wind. The epicenter of the root system where the buff takes effect is about five feet in diameter, and anyone standing in the space is benefited by the buff. The root system lasts for 30 seconds and then vanishes. When the roots vanish, the ground goes back to normal, but any objects like benches or trashcans that are upended stay upended. Someone can also easily chase Moira and her team out of the center of the system. If this happens, they are no longer benefited by the buff. The buff cannot distinguish between order and chaos, so if someone else takes over the center of the root system, they are buffed. She can do this twice.

Geography Moira's geography spanned the whole gamut, ranging from arid desert to frigid tundra.

Jotha Tundra
YO-thah
Enjoys half of the year in pitch back night and half of the year in an unyielding day. This polar cap is situated at the bottom axis of the planet and is home to very few people. At night, the sky is lit up by a Borealis.

Eowardumm Plains
EE-oh-wahr-dum
The temperate zone of Moira, and the most densely populated of the planet. this region actually describes several chains of island-line continents on either side of the equator.

Umomand Deserts
you-MAHM-und
Arid desert land dotted with fertile oasis'. This land-mass' population is concentrated around these oasis', though farmland would often spiderweb out and irrigate when needed.


Climate
Jotha Tundra

During the Long Night, temperatures can reach as low as 100 degrees Moiran (celcius). Things aren't much better during the Long Day, still sinking as low as 60 degrees Moiran below zero. During the Long Night, the weather tends to be very wet, including freezing rains, snowfall, and even sleet and hail in some cases. The weather is more temperate comparatively speaking during the Long Day.

Eowardumm Plains
EE-oh-wahr-dum
The plains enjoyed four seasons a year, with snow in the winter, rain in the spring, heat in the summer, and chills in the fall. The growing season is longest here, so the agriculture is truly booming in this region of the planet.

Umomand Deserts
you-MAHM-und
Naturally unfarmable, but can be tamed. During the day the temperatures can reach 120 degrees Moiran and at night only cooling off to about 70. Sandstorms are a danger in this region, often times blacking out the sun. These storms can last anywhere from 1 to 4 hours. However, these storms only happen once every few months.


Fauna

Most fauna in this region resides in the freezing oceans.
Nihlan nee-LAHN. A fish with white flesh and lightly oceanic flavor. Caught in the wild by families to feed themselves and grown in responsible fisheries to ship across the planet.
Delanduil del-AN-doo-eel. A crustacean prized for its sweet meat. These animals are impossible to breed in hatcheries, so they need to be caught. They are prized because only so many are caught in a year to maintain a healthy population.

Eowardumm Plains
EE-oh-wahr-dum
Along with having the most people, the Eowardum Plains also has the most variety of fauna.
Floror FLOR-or. A rather crazed and extremely stupid farmyard bird. They have to be kept separated from the other animals because they will fight anything and everything that the encounter that is not another Floror. They are also unable to self-regulate when they eat and so they will literally do so until their stomachs burst. Their meat, however, is cheap and their feathers make excellent insulation for blankets and coats.
Tinaindil tin-AIN-dil. A large bovine creature raised for its meat and hide. Placid and slow moving, they graze on whatever flora they are near. The flavor of their meat is directly affected by what they eat, so the purer sweet grass a Tinaindil can graze on, the better and more expensive the meat. The hide is used to make clothing, textiles, and even tools in some cases. They can grow to be about the size of a fully grown Moiran and are often times used to pull carts and farming equipment.
Delulas dee-LOO-las. Kept for it's warm and soft wool instead of it's meat, this animal often times doubles as a family pet. If shorn twice a year -- once at the beginning of spring and once at the end of summer -- a family can live from the resulting wool. A spring shearing produces wool that was used to keep the Delulas warm in the winter and can be used to create insulating garments and heat-resistant cloth. A summer shearing will yield a wool that was grown to wick heat away from the body and can be used to make summer garments.
Ralith RAL-ith. A small wild canid. This creature is nocturn and hunts small livestock like Floror. It is not uncommon for a farmer to wake up and see three or four slaughtered birds in the morning because he didn't secure the coop up well enough. They are forever the bane of all livestock caregivers.

Umomand Deserts

Sirorion see-ROR-ee-on. A large lizard the roams the deserts. This beast can last for weeks without water due to an internal canteen like sac that they can draw hydration from. They are largely passive creatures, but have been known to lash out should an unsuspecting passerby wander into their territory. Sometimes they are hunted for their scaled skins, but other than that they are left alone. Their meat is dry and tasteless and only eaten in extreme circumstances.
Fyriand FEAR-ee-end. A mid-sized canid creature. Scavenges but never kill its own prey. Omnivorous. Afraid of everything, and so they are easy to fend off. Large ears for detecting approaching predators. Largely nocturnal, though they may be spotted in the early morning and late evening. Instead of lashing out when cornered, this creature will just play dead. Many Moirans leave out scraps for the Fyriand that live nearby.

None. The climate is too cold to support any flora

Eowardumm Plains
EE-oh-wahr-dum
Most of the flora in this region consisted of cultivated crops, though there were a great many different species of wildflowers and ferns.
Ilpetta il-PET-uh. A grain cultivated for breads, poridgees, and fermented drinks. Often times the staple of poorer household pantries.
Damal DAHM-ahl. Starchy roots which are rather bulbous and come in a variety of colors. can be prepared in a variety of ways. Eaten raw can cause sickness, however.
Foma FOH-mah. Another root crop which grows in a conical shape and is white in color. Can be eaten raw or cooked.
Zinovia zin-OH-vee-ah. Bright violet vegetable which grows on a vine in arbors. Extremely juicy. Often times stewed into a sauce.

Umomand Deserts

Flora in this region grew in the scattered oasis where the Moirans settled.
Alysia ah-LEE-see-ah. A large fern-like plant which grows wild. When the leaves are cut off and the bark stripped away, the meat of the trunk can be stewed and eaten as a meat-substitute The fronds are often used for decoration and to provide shade.

Architecture Due to the use of geothermal energy, homes and built into the earth to make harvesting and utilizing this energy more efficient. Homes usually are buried under a hill-like mound, with home gardens on top. In the case of the Jothan Tundra, the mounds are topped with solar panels because the permafrost of the tundra is too thick and difficult to cut through to access the geothermal energy that the other regions enjoy.


Economy Barter / Trade system
Culture Agrarian. Everyone who can hold a tool either farms or creates tools and items that can make farming easier.
Social Ranking Egalitarian

Government No matter what part of the planet a Moiran was on, they could count on the regions being governed by a central parliament of citizens elected by pure democratic processes by the people. Each continent was split into regions by population and each population had a separate parliament. In cases of continent-wide decisions, the parliament would reach a consensus and then send one representative to vote on behalf of the region. In the case of a planet-wide decision, the continental parliament would come to a consensus and send a representative to vote on behalf of the continent. Each Parliamentary Representative had a term of 3 cycles and a lime of 2 terms.

Alignments ???

Regarding the Moon Kingdom Moira was consistently in good standing with the Moon Kingdom and enjoyed open trade with the people who lived there. Moira was allowed stalls at the markets of the Moon Kingdom whenever they pleased, and there were plenty of Moirans who moved there in order to set up more permanent fixtures for trade. The same thing happened with denizens of the Moon Kingdom on Moira.

Technology Blended agrarian and advanced technology. Any and all technology was devoted to the advancement of sustainable and responsible farming and agriculture.

Moiran Festival Attire -- Field Uniform -- Diplomatic Uniform


Name: Atula "Attie" Adelheide
Age of Awakening: Mid-teens
Age of Death: Unknown
Cause of Death: Unknown
Appearance: Atula was a small woman, even for Moirans who were smaller than most. She had straw-colored hair and moss-green eyes. It was, in the end, her moss-green eyes that heralded her awakening, for that color was reserved for senshi alone.
She always had either the look of a frightened doe about her, or that of a petulant child. Her build was stocky, but athletic from a childhood spent on the farm doing hard labor.

Personality: Atula, or Attie as she was known to those who loved her, was a chronic shirker of duties.
She would do whatever she needed to do in order to get out of doing what she had to do. Her father often lamented that if she spent half as much time and effort into doing what she was trying to get out of doing, then she could do anything perfectly. It wasn't that she didn't want to do the work, rather that she couldn't handle the pressure that responsibility put on her. She would rather climb trees and eat berries in the woods surrounding her family's farm than actually do any farming. Even when she was awakened as a senshi, she shirked that duty, vanishing into the woods never to be seen or heard from again the night before her induction as a senshi.


Family: Theodemire "Theo" Adelheide: Attie's father who raised her and her host of little siblings largely on his own, his wife having died in childbirth with the last of the Adelheide brood. He was a man of dedication and duty, working from before sunrise to long after sunset on the farm. When Attie awakened as a senshi, he was riddled with pride that Moira had chosen his daughter to serve, and fear that she would fail to rise to the occasion to which she was being called. His fear, it seemed, was warranted.

Provincia "Vinny" Adelheide: Attie's mother. Perhaps too indulgent of a woman, and often blamed as the source of Attie's chronic shirking. She would allow Attie to hide in the kitchen with her well into what would have been considered adulthood. She coddled Attie, and by the time she realized her mistake it was too late. She simply loved her daughter too much to allow her to suffer, and then was too soft to force her to grow up. She died in childbirth.

Kystrel "Kyss" Adelheide: The second born of the Adelheide brood. She was two years younger than Attie and sought to be everything that her sister could not be. She was as dedicated as her father, often putting her own health at risk for the sake of the fark her family had kept for generations. Her and Attie were constantly at each other's throats, with Kyss feeling, and perhaps rightfully so, that Attie was childish and weak. When Attie awakened it only deepened Kyss' resentment.

Addalynda "Lynda" Adelheide: Lynda was born a year after Kyss. She sought to split the difference between her two older sisters. She worked the land of her family with love and dedication, but also knew when to stop and take care of herself. She also had aspirations outside of the farm, and with Attie awakening as a senshi in her early teens and subsequently going missing, and then Kyss taking over the form, Lynda was free to pursue her passion for textiles and move to the Moiran capital to try her hand at fashion.
She was moderately successful, earning herself a descent living.

Odelin "Oddie" Adelheide: The first male born to Theo and Vinny. He was all of the buff and brawn that the farm needed, often times referred to as the Adelheide Tinaindil. Once his mother died, he latched on to Attie for female attention, as Kyss was too busy running hrself into the ground and Lynda was honing her seamstress skills on her off time. He always knew were to find Attie when she was shirking her duties, and would often drag her back to the farm, bodily if needed. As an adult, he grew to be nearly impossible dimensions for a Moiran, and continued living on and working the farmland for Kyss and her family once she took over. He was singularly devastated when Attie went missing, and never gave up hope that she'd come home.

Reginar "Reggie" Adelheide: The youngest of the Adelheide brood. He never did quite shake the responsibility of his mother's death, carrying that mantle until his untimely death as a young adult. While still living, he was a deeply sad child, and was often mistaken as a mute for his lack of speech. Oddie tried needlessly to help his brother, but in the end he too gave up on Reggie, leaving him to his sorrow. Otherwise, he was largely ignored by the rest of his family. Neighbors say that was what killed him in the end. Lack of affection.

Note: I have used the most recent past incarnation of Moira simply because it was easier to make dolls this way. However, Moiran Senshi vary in appearance and sex.

From Left to Right
The first incarnation of the Moiran uniform was simple, with textiles and dyes found on the planet. The senshi's main duty was to maintain the agricultural flow on Moira itself. The senshi was also expected to work to improve agriculture and come up with new ways to incorporate agriculture with conservation. Because of this, they were expected to be experts in every ecosystem on Moira and what was necessary to maintain natural order within those ecosystems. The senshi was called when there were emergencies within ecosystems, such as natural disasters, accidental over-farming, or intentional tampering with the natural order.

♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ Ellena Beauchamp: Heather's mother. She had Heather, her older sister Elliot, and her younger brother Max by the same man with whom she has an on again off again relationship. Under normal cirucmstances, Heather's mother is a very reliable woman, but when "That Man" is in town, she becomes irresponsible, unreliable, and flaky. Lucky, he hasn't been around since Max was born, and Heather's mother has been the rock of the family since.

● ● ● ● "That Man": While technically the father of Heather and her siblings, Heather refuses to acknowledge that.
She never learned his name, never cared to, and couldn't pick him out of a line up with a gun to her head. When he is around, he turns her mother into an irresponsible teenager. Heather hasn't seen him since Max was born and that's fine by her.


♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ Maxwell Beauchamp: Heather's little brother. He thinks that Heather and Elliot are the coolest people ever, and would follow them to the ends of the earth.
