¢σσкιηg :: Not often getting the time to dedicate too much of her time to this specific love of hers, Sonja has done what she could to help her and the kids she had watched over fed well enough to survive on a day-to-day basis. And that often mean't cooking the food they could steal or scrounge up. Being one of the many eldest kids, this bubblegum brawler took it upon herself to learn how to properly prepare a meal from studying chefs from back windows and even doing the casual dish-washing in exchange for a recipe. What had become a chore, soon became a love of hers to improve her own cooking skills and culinary artwork.
'¢нιℓℓιηg' :: Whether it's lounging somewhere comfy or just hanging out with close friends, Sonja is totally down for it! Being a former gang leader had its perks but she was always so busy that down-time was nearly impossible to have so don't be surprised to see her taking advantage of any free time she has to simply take a breather and relax~
ѕєωιηg :: With the odd nickname the 'Mother of the East Side', it shouldn't honestly be surprising that Sonja knew how to sew at a rather early stage of her life. Money wasn't free-flowing enough for her to afford new clothes so she did all that she could to keep the clothes on her back as well as the others that she watched over time. Sonja wasn't about to let anyone under her wing to go out in the cold when she can repair it to keep her people warm!

Sonja is a product of the streets. Left to much of her own devices at the ripe young age of 10. Learning her limits and how to keep herself alive on the mean city streets were something through a trial-and-error process that crossed many years. Soon, she found she wasn't alone.
Many other kids, like her, had been cast aside to the elements to fend for themselves and she wasn't about to let the 'elite' of the world let them fade away. Sonja, the ever under-dogging leader, rallied the small group and built a sector of her own. Making her borders clear and well-known was vital to their survival.
But not always through violence. That's just what those 'snoots' would have wanted of them. To cannibalize themselves. No, she knew better. She and several others that roamed the streets for their own separate groups kept a well-fortified bond of information, resources and protection.
Sure, the occasional power-struggle from outside parties popped up but it was often squished down. Life was... Alright.
Til they came...
The wisps of shadows that plagued the city around ever turn and corner were nothing new. Sonja would stare them down and make her own noises back at them.
The older she became, the more she knew the growling and snarling weren't going to work anymore. They were growing in number and it was starting to break the heavy wall she had built over the years. She had kept herself safe behind it but not for long...
Much of 'her part' of the city had been kept reasonable safe or so she had thought. She had gotten word of an eminent presence that was slowly threatening the borders of her 'territory'. It had opened an entirely new can of worms.
Sonja had thought most of the city to be fine. In a general sense, at least. Recruiters of some sort of organization had offered forth information of those close to her and had warned of something coming... Something that would threaten the small number of people she had held close to her. That had stuck to her side like glue. People that she considered 'family.'
It didn't take her long to make up her mind. 'Where do I sign up?'
After all, this was her home. And she wasn't about to give it up to some spooks!

Always needing to be the tiny voice in the back of her head... Apart from the 'tiny' part. Li makes sure that he is heard and heeded lest he be the constant reminder of the grim truth of what could be if she 'fail.' And it could be anything! A spar, a quiz, walking down the sidewalk!
Sometimes he can't help it. Li feels like he needs to keep her safe. Always. He will chide her from time to time and can even be down-right cruel but Sonja brushes it off. He just means well as he always tells her and he does!
He knows if not for the stern advice he often gives, she would have 'bit the dust' long ago.

Walls, ceilings, and floors are plain cement. Some aspects of the basement floor indicate it may have once been a 𝔪𝔢𝔡𝔦𝔢𝔳𝔞𝔩 𝔡𝔲𝔫𝔤𝔢𝔬𝔫 that was refurbished a long time ago. Random iron rings attached to walls, the occasional barred door, possible instruments of torture, and suspicious bloodstains are things than may sometimes be found in the basement.

-One playlist created by you for anything related to the shop. This can be your character, events, and other people's characters as well. Each must have a different theme. (max 5 points per year this way). Playlists can be added to your journals or shared to other people's journals/ messages for them to add (10 track minimum). Should be made on youtube and/or spotify. - One piece of fanart drawn OR commissioned by you for anything related to the shop. (max 5 points per year this way) - One complete RP; (you must have written at least 600 words in that RP for it to count as a point.) - One complete classroom RP; (you must have written at least 600 words in that RP for it to count as a point.) - One complete homework assignment for a class that assigned it. -----NOTE: For 'homework' that involves growing a minipet from a class, you must do an RP or solo (of at least 600 words) involving that pet to get a point. Merely growing the minipet does not count! - One complete battle, with just rolls (600 word count not required) - Five minipets grown to their final stage. (You get one point for every five minipets; you can claim a maximum of 5 points per year this way.) - One complete solo, at least 600 words long
