Swimming - Ever since she was a little girl, Becca has loved the water. Back then, she and her older cousins had always packed up and gone to the beach on summer weekends. That had been before her mother's new job though, and before all the moves across the country had made visiting family too much trouble. Nowadays she gets in as much swimming as she can and finds it a calming reprieve from all the many stresses she places on herself, even if it does make her a little homesick for family if she dwells on it overmuch. It certainly helps that she can file it away as exercise if there's ever any doubt that she could be spending her time elsewhere.
Reading - As much time as she devotes to studying, it might be a little hard to believe she'd spend her free time on a book, but she adores stories nonetheless. She dabbles in many different genres, and even picks up the occasional how-to book if there's some skill she wants to give a try, but her real guilty pleasure is in romance novels. Most of them are terribly cheesy and embarrassing, but she just can't get enough of them.
Puzzles - Rebecca is also fond of puzzles of all kinds, from handheld to online games to simply spoken riddles. They keep her mind spinning, and there's something a little exhilarating about seeing a challenge and solving it without help. She does get frustrated when those solutions don't come to her as quickly as she feels they should, but even if it has to be set aside for a bit, she doesn't give up on finding the answer.
Virtues:
Ambitious - Determined to succeed in life no matter what she has to do, Rebecca puts her all into her studies and tries her best to impress those above her. As far as she's concerned, it's not enough to just be good at something (and really, everyone accepted to Romano's is good anyway), she needs to stand out and excel at it. For now, she has her eyes set on an Advanced Diploma.
Loyal - Earn Rebecca's respect and you have a staunch ally for the rest of your life, assuming of course that you don't make the mistake of betraying her somewhere along the way. Having gone long periods of her life without close friends, she cherishes the ones she manages to make and does her best to keep them happy, no matter how far she might have to go to do so.
Flaws:
Insecure - Eager to find approval and acceptance from others but unsure exactly what she needs to do to achieve it, Rebecca strives to meet all expectations and struggles with the near-constant thought that she is not good enough. Depending on whose attention she most wants at the time, her opinions and goals may even shift in attempt to make herself look better in their eyes.
Time Bomb - Rebecca bottles up negative emotions and grudges and pushes them to the back of her mind without properly working through them because she feels she has to keep up a certain image of herself. Inevitably, over time, they build up to a breaking point, causing volatile outbursts of anger or tears depending on the situation. She is often absolutely mortified after the fact, which really just sets the stage for another future buildup and continues the cycle.
Lieutenant Weapon: A little drink umbrella Captain Weapon: A normal umbrella, not lethal but good for whacking and poking and even a tiny bit of shielding if opened mid-fight General Weapon: An umbrella with a sword sheathed within the handle. The umbrella itself now has a sturdier framework and can withstand more hits if used as a makeshift shield.
