Destiny City Media is aching for some interviews following the Bat Attack; after bats attacked the Fall Festival, newspapers, news stations, and local bloggers are trying to speak to everyone in sight. They're looking for interviews, pictures, anything they can get their hands on! Are you interested in sharing your story? Your character has been invited to answer a few basic questions--where were they when the bats attacked, what happened, and how do they feel about the safety of Destiny City now? Your character can give an interview for any media they want. Or, maybe, you are the one conducting the interview!

Rebecca had half convinced herself to pretend it had never happened. Maybe that was a side effect of working so hard deciding on a cover story to tell her mom about where she'd been when it all had happened, really, because she'd been going over the what-if's while she worked on her homework for what had to be hours now.

There had been too much on her plate to go to the Festival at all, of course. Or maybe she'd gone and the crowds had been too much for her, too overwhelming, and she'd left soon after, before the bats had come. Maybe she'd been there, looking through booths for souvenirs when people had started screaming, and maybe she'd been able to take shelter there and avoid all the horrible creatures. Maybe...Maybe she hadn't been bitten at all.

Becca tapped her pencil against her desk, frowning at her laptop screen. It certainly would have been nice if any of those what if's had the right of things, but she couldn't lie to herself about it, not after going through all those troubling symptoms. There was still so much no one seemed to know about the Vampire Sickness, as everyone was taking to calling it. Everyone who'd been bit had a similar story about what it had done to them, how hard it had been to be out in sunlight, but so far no doctors had come forward with definite answers about how it had happened and if it was really gone without consequences now the symptoms had worn off.

Sighing, she reached over to the touch pad, moving the cursor over to hit a different tab on her browser. The forum she'd found lit up the screen, thread after thread of people sharing their experiences from the Festival. They were all just as confused as she was, she guessed. Or maybe being a vampire for a day just gave them all something in common. The topic at the topic was asking for more stories, though. A quick click and questions were laid out like an interview in progress. She considered them a long moment, then copied them all onto a notepad before going to make a quick and anonymous account for the page.

Account made, basic questions copied and pasted into a new thread, moment to share her story granted. It wasn't like her homework was getting done anyway.

Where were you when the bats attacked? I was at the Festival, looking for a stand to buy something to snack on. The crowds were so thick that it was hard getting anywhere, and I must have been right in the middle of the worst of it when they came.

What happened? People panicked. I panicked. There was a lot of running, screaming, trying to fight them away from us. I managed to avoid a lot of it just by laying low, but in the end one of them bit me. The Vampire Sickness...I guess I see why we all decided to call it that, after experiencing it. Light hurt my eyes and sunlight in particular almost seemed to burn. I was so tired and cold and hungry. It was horrible.

How do you feel about the safety of Destiny City? I'm beginning to have my doubts about how safe it is here. I think...Someone needs to do something. But I guess I still don't know what they could.
