Well ********. This wasn't good in the slightest. A General Sovereign was the absolute lasts thing any of them needed right now. And go figure, they had to get the crazy one.
The grip on his sword tightened as he moved closer to the group. "He's insane." He murmured to Ganymede as he watched Valhalla. "Sorry. But he is."

Apatite's eyes immediately went to the chain coming at her; she tilted her head, watching—and seemed only slightly surprised when the black collar appeared around her neck and tethered her in place. "Oh, my," she purred; she seemed smug, and almost like she was enjoying it. "Hey, handsome. You been stalkin' my diary?"
She reached a hand to try and tug at the chain, but it was unrelenting.
It didn't even seem to bother her, though. Her eyes were dangerous, and locked onto Gevaudan. "—Don't I know you from somewhere? I oughta be flattered to have caught your eye, but you know what?"
Her mood shifted, suddenly. "You're actually just kinda pissing me off."
She wanted to tear his throat out. She wanted to see these halls drenched in Senshi blood. Wanted all these knights bowing—to her. Pledging themselves to Metallia. She wanted her hands around his scrawny little neck, but the more she tugged, the more stuck she felt.
The angrier she got.
She looked at Valhalla. "—And who the hell do you think you are? You wanna talk? How about you start talkin' to whatever got you worship, because I'm about to send you to meet him!"
She curled her arm backwards in an arc and laughed—a twisted, cynical giggle, and threw one chakram straight towards him. She summoned her second one to her still open hand and chucked that one at Gevaudan. Both weapons out of her hand, she wrapped both hands around the chain and tugged, clawing frantically and trying to bend the links with strength alone. When that didn't seem to work, she started clawing at the band around her neck.
She was keenly aware of a Princess, but she seemed all talk, herself.
Maybe she was praying to her God.

Gevuadan
He gawked as she mentioned her diary, as if pleased he had her chained up and knowing a bit too personally what she was insinuating he was up to. Flushed at that very idea, he then froze, eye wide, as she hinted at knowing him. A cold sweat broke out as he choked back a sound.
While tooting his horn about who he was might have gotten him some satisfaction, NOW didn't exactly seem the best time and place. If he was taken, if he was caught, they would just think he was a knight. Giving the news to his ex-superior that he had jumped ship and was a knight attacking their castle was not something he wanted her to know. If she was pissed now at him, it would go to a non-invented number if she knew all that.
And her glare had killed his vocal chords for a moment as he just took a deep, hard swallow. It took a lot to not drop down to one knee and apologize to his previous superior for upsetting her. His hands tightened on the chain as he felt that cold fear against him, squeezing him, as his one eye stared at her hoping she wouldn't speak his old name.
What mattered was that she was restrained, but that didn't keep her arms from freely moving, and she tossed her weapons out to him and Valhalla. He could dodge. He probably would have made it too for such a direct attack, but that would break the spell too quickly and then she would have the advantage.
Instead, he cursed and gritted his teeth as he slightly turned, taking the hit to his side and elbows, holding tightly through the searing, blinding pain as the weapon cut into his uniform and flesh.
"DO SOMETHING! I WON'T HAVE HER LIKE THIS FOR LONG! KILL HER!" He cried out. If they couldn't even kill a General Queen, they wouldn't be able to touch Metallia. They had to get there.
They had to get to that chamber.
They had to make it.
Everything felt hot and his body shook as the deep gas now gushed out and started to pour down under his uniform down his thigh and leg and soaked into the red fabric. How he wished he had his old weapon. He might have stood a chance then.

Valhalla of Jupiter
Valhalla was very aware of the fact that he had no magic, no real weapon to use, and his summon was missing, possibly killed by General Queen Laurelite almost a year ago. He might not be much of a fighter, or even know how to fight very well, or even want to fight, but he was a knight, and he swore to protect the Earth and all those who lived there. If that meant fighting in order to do that, then he would.
“You were the one responsible for kidnapping knights and senshi last year, weren’t you?” he asked lowly, anger and sadness seeping into his voice as he remembered what happened during that horrible time. And not just to him, but to everyone involved. Knights, senshi, and Negaverse officers who, like Gevaudan and Hawara, realized that this was not the Negaverse they wanted to serve.
Ganymede was angry. He could hear it in her voice as she yelled at him for not thinking before he did anything. She was wrong. He did think about what he wanted to do. He thought about her, about their family, and about a world where Chaos could one day take over. She was wrong in thinking that he wasn’t planning on fighting. Valhalla preferred talking of course, but even he knew this was not the time nor place.
Gevaudan’s attack seemed to be holding for the moment, but there was little time between him attacking and the General Queen Apatite attacking back.
Valhalla saw the chakram thrown at him and Gevaudan and, with the speed of a baseball pitcher dodging a line drive back to the mound, he twisted away in time for the blade to only slice across his armored shoulder. He didn’t have time to assess the damage or cry out in pain, because while Gevaudan held onto his chain, Valhalla lunged forward to throw a punch at the General Queen, hopefully before she had time to recall her weapons.

Princess Ganymede
“God, damn it.”
Ganymede dodged out of the way of the flying chakram, grabbing Alexandria by the arm to take him with her. She'd been pretty close to Valhalla at the time, despite his efforts to push her away. She glanced around quickly to make sure both Gevaudan and Valhalla were okay, since they were the two who would have taken a direct hit, only to watch as Val moved in to punch Apatite.
She had to give him credit for fighting, but she really wished he would be more careful about it.
“I don't think we're going to be getting out of this so easily,” Ganymede said to Chaldene.
She was caught between two options. Leave and try to find Metallia while Apatite was distracted, or stay and help them deal with the General Queen.
On the one hand, she'd wanted to conserve her magic and save it for the fight with Metallia. On the other hand, all Apatite had to do was teleport and block her path again as soon as Ganymede tried to get around.
She felt like they were ******** no matter what she did.
“Damn it, what I wouldn't give for a sword right about now,” she muttered to herself.
Gevaudan's magic wasn't going to last for very long, which meant Apatite would soon break free and have a better chance of launching a successful attack. Which meant they had to put her out of commission and give themselves a chance to take her down before Gev's magic wore off.
“Oh, ******** it all. Searing Passion!”
Quote:
Searing Passion The enemy's focus temporarily narrows upon a single, abstract desire that manifests itself in a physical sensation, a heating of the body that grows progressively stronger throughout the duration of the attack, until the target feels as if they are burning up from the inside. They're likely to feel weak and disoriented once the attack has burned itself out.
The attack itself reaches its peak after about 45 seconds, and can only be used on a single enemy within a twenty foot radius. While it could be used twice if absolutely necessary, it is physically draining on Ganymede and would commonly only be used once during battle.

Watching what was going on, an eternals attack not seeming to do anything, Gevaudan suffering as he tried to fend off the General Queen. He watched Ganymede launch her attack as well. He didn't like this the other knight, Gevaudan was suffering and was injured, and he could do nothing magically to help. That didn't mean he couldn't do anything. maybe an act so stupid, so dangerous would throw the General Queen off and buy them time and someone could handle her - she needed to die and even he would agree with it.
He couldn't do it though...well maybe he could? Could he? Shaking his head, his grip tightening on his weapon, he moved around Erebus and went right up to her and aimed to hit her with the butt end of the duster he held. She was moving though so he might not be able to strike her in the temple as he wanted. She was busy though with the collar about her neck - so maybe he could hit her where he wanted? he was certainly putting as much force behind it as he could in the hopes of dealing whatever damage to her that he could. He hoped that Ganymede's magic would take care of the rest, along with Gavaudan magic.

Captain Buffalowingnite - Fighting Ash and Mont Blonc
To say that he was surprised when his club hit a shield and not his desired target would be an understatement. It had happened so quick that Buff had barely registered the blue toned senshi rushing in to rescue the knight. He dodged back, his chicken leg shaped club poised in his hand ready for another attack as he practically growled out his frustration. "How dare you get in my way!"
Needless to say, Buff wasn't a cool tempered fellow. Anger driven, he rounded on the mauvian senshi and Knight, club swinging again. This time he aimed for the damn senshi who dared get in the between him and his prey. "I am going knock you so far into the rift that no one will ever find you again!" He roared. His club, this time, coming down straight at Ash.

Erebus, Squire of Saturn
Erebus kept quiet as Ganymede and Gevuadan admonished Valhalla for wanting to talk to Apatite, he didn't know the older Knight so he wasn't about to say anything about what he was planning. As it was it didn't last long between the Eternal (Chaldene) joining in with his attack and the General Queen herself attacking the two Knights all ideas for talking were clearly thrown out the window.
He hopped that they had a Senshi who could heal Gevuadan after the Knight had gotten hit but for now his attention was centered on the fact that Ganymede and Valhalla both jumped in to attack, followed closely by Venice. If it wasn't for the fact that they were in the middle of a battle, he would have facepalmed at the Page attacking the General Queen but as it was indeed a battle he just darted in to swing his oar at Apatite's legs. If the Page got an exasperated look from the Squire it was understandable.
Houshi stuck as close to Metis as she could, but for a moment, she lost track of the Super Senshi in the sheer chaos of the battle. She tried to push her way through, and when she found her again, she was engaged in combat against a General. And a youma.
Why did this keep happening.
"Metis!" Houshi knew she wasn't going to be much help, and it rankled - no magic, a paper ghost for a weapon, nothing but her fierceness and determination to do something, anything at all.

Lt. Galaxite
Galaxite had been down simply to report, to file collected energy and then find Caledonite again and go home.
He had not intended to be caught up in some kind of massive battle. He found himself wringing his hands around his bow, looking for any kind of escape, any chance to get away from here -- except there was a General-Queen.
Not Laurelite, not the one who had helped save him, but a General-Queen nonetheless, and Galaxite knew in that moment he could not flee. He could not be a coward. Because a General-Queen was watching. And he could not disappoint her.
So Galaxite raised up his bow, with its silly foam ammunition, and went looking for a fight.

Gunaditonite, Disposable General
Fear flickered in Guna's eyes when he noticed his opponent summon her magic. At first, he expected something offensive and tried to defend, but when the senshi's supposed attack was a buff, he realized his mistake. To be caught so off-guard left him an open target and he took a hard fall when he was swept under his ankles. The spear he had bounced out of his hand and rolled way, leaving Guna a mess.
As stated before, he was nothing without his weapon.
In a panic, he tried to scuttle over toward his weapon and get it in time. But by the looks of it and the distance it had taken, it seemed there wasn't any.

Sessrumnir of Jupiter
Sessrumnir didn’t even realize a General had locked their eyes onto him to fight until he heard the swish of the tonfa blades. He jumped out of the way in time to avoid any serious damage, but still managed to sustain a cut across his arm.
He hissed in pain as he spun around, readying his weapon to attack when he heard the voice of a senshi he recognized and the call of an attack he was quite familiar with.
“Thanks,” he called to Metis, grateful that she offered a distraction so he could lunge forward for a left hook aimed at the General’s (Aurostibite) face.
Sessrumnir waited until he followed through with his punch, hit or miss, before glancing over his shoulder to see the Jupiter page (Houshi Ryokan) stepping into the scene as well.
“Might want to stay back,” he called to her, but gave her a quick thumbs up, anyway. It was not often that he saw other Jupiter knights, other than his brother.

Lieutenant Blazite (disposable
He had just been in the castle turning in the energy he'd gathered earlier that evening, he was proud of how well he was doing. The praise from his Captain was something he sought out, so he didn't fail in completing his few duties, and it was why when he saw the fighting going on he summoned his weapon - a stuffed Blazkin and dove into the fray. He knew the weapon was useless but he felt like throwing it at someone, maybe bounce it off a face or head and distract someone long enough to punch them in the face? he was hopeful to be able to do something, that his Captain would hear and be proud of him.
So much was going on all around him though he didn't think they'd find out...oh well, then he'd do this for himself!

Captain Jet
”What the ********…” Captain Jet sputtered as he raced into the open area where a fight between invading senshi and knights and the Negaverse officers had broken out. How did they find a way in??
Jet felt his still cut and bruised face darken with anger. In the week that he and the other officers had been captured, had someone given information that lead to this? Was there a traitor or someone who wasn’t able to keep their mouth shut amongst them?
He pulled both of his knives from subspace to grasp in his hands… which was still a little awkward seeing as that his broken arm was still in a cast, a sling holding it in place across his chest. He was feeling a little better from after being rescued, but still had several weeks to go before his ribs and arm healed completely.
But despite being injured, he was willing to risk life and limb if it meant protecting the ******** off,” he hissed at Aquamarine when he heard the other try and get him to hand over one of his knives. No way! These were his knives! It wasn’t his fault Aquamarine only got one!

Captain Aquamarine
“Seriously, Jet, don't be a ******** idiot,” Aquamarine said. “I know that's really ******** hard for you sometimes, but under the circumstances you should probably try to manage it. You can't even move your ******** arm. Give me the ******** knife or I'll take it from you by force.”
He was being mean by calling Jet's intelligence into question and, as usual, he didn't give a damn. The fact was that Jet couldn't use one of his arms. That was unavoidable no matter how you looked at the situation. Jet was just being stupid and stubborn. As per usual. He just couldn't stand the fact that he was injured and couldn't get all murder-happy with some Senshi.
Tough luck, Jet. Time to get a new hobby.
That didn't mean Aquamarine wasn't concerned about the situation at all. He could only continue to wonder how the forces of Order managed to make their way in. As far as Aquamarine was aware, it'd never been done before. He always assumed it couldn't be done, and now they were faced with this bullshit.
He really should have stayed back at the apartment tonight.
“Alright then. Let's make some ******** plans,” he said, still eyeing Jet in case Jet continued to refuse to hand over one of his knives. “Because this has already gone to hell and something tells me it's only just started. How about this? We stay here and survey the situation. We keep out of it until it's ******** necessary to get involved. Then you stay behind me, and I keep your a** from getting hurt. Sucks to be you, but you can't afford any more medical bills.”

"One of these days, we're staying home." He hissed at Ganymede. "All of us. I'll ******** tie us to the couch if I ******** half to." Alexandria made a mental note that Valhalla got Velcro and chains.
He was gonna regret this, he knew that much. It was just a matter of how much. But now wasn't the time to worry about that. He had things to do. Thrusting his key front of him, pointing it in Apatite's direction, he gave it a twist. Alex really hoped this worked.

By thrusting his key into the air (think of it as aiming the key for a keyhole only he can see) and twisting it, Alexandria can distract his opponent with an outpouring of knowledge and trivia. At this stage, he can only use knowledge that he, personally, knows and the effects last 15-30 seconds and produce a mild disorientation and/or headache in one person only.
