While everyone was moving about, some moving in on the General Queen, he was being pulled away from her! Looking back at the one pulling him away he was going to say something, get free from her, only just as he was clearing the General Queen's range he wound up being sliced across the vest leaving a deep gash in his clothing that drew a thin line of blood from him. Hissing softly he bit down on his bottom lip.

Once clear of the General Queen's range he moved to get around her, keeping his distance, till he was behind here. Moving in he reached out and went to wrap his hands about her neck only to find they wouldn't fit due to the other knights hands there. Unable to do that he went to her head, around her temples to apply what pressure there that he could as he wondered if he could do it. He couldn't snap a neck, he wasn't sure he could even kill, but she was a danger to them all and he was not blind or stupid. He didn't want to kill, didn't like the idea of it, but he wasn't stupid enough to not realize the danger she presented to not just those here but to everyone. More so though she seems to have perhaps had some break with sanity and that made her an even bigger danger - made it where she had to...die.

Best not to think about it, best to push it to the back of his mind and he did just that. Applying as much force as he could in the hopes of helping what the other Ganymede knight was doing. "You can do this?" He asked the other, looking down at him, hoping that perhaps they could switch. "Can bring her down to your height."

Erebus, Squire of Saturn

Oh joy, they managed to make the General Queen snap even farther then what she had been. Erebus was glad that Antares was attempting to pull Venice back and it was probably the only reason that the page had only gotten hurt rather then killed. However he didn't have a lot of time to think on this as Apatite was still swinging wildly around with her chakrams. He managed to mostly block a swing with his oar so he only got a small cut on his cheek but he wasn't able to block another that got his arm and left a nice sized gash near his shoulder.

He cursed under his breath then, seeing how both Gevuadan and Venice were going for her neck, he tried to grab on to one of Apatite's arms to help stop the wild swings. "Might want to try and stop her from swinging those around!"

Captain Buffalowingnite - Fighting Ash and Mont Blonc

Buff was not, at all prepared for his swing to miss. He had been so close, and the damn senshi had not been ready for the blow coming to her when all of a sudden, it was just empty space! The force of his downward motion not meeting the intended object meant his entire body moved towards Ash. Just in time for her laser gun to explode right in his face.

He howled at the burning sensation, letting go of his club to clutch at his poor abused face as he staggered back from them. The potent burning sensation began to fade, but his face felt raw and painful. "What the hell!?" He screamed into his palms which still covered his face.

Carefully he pulled his hands away and it was obvious that he was going to need some healing after the battle. The skin on his face was red, blotchy, and in some areas, rising up as if blistering. "I am going to break every bone in your body for that!" Of course, the threat would have been a bit more, well, threatening if he had been still clutching his weapon.

Gevuadan, very short knight of Ganymeade

Gevaudan didn't usually take his height into account until something or someone pointed it out. Reaching the General Queen, he was gripping as hard as he could to either make her pass out from suffocation or to get a strong enough hold to make the necessary twist that would snap her neck.

When the other knight came behind him to try and grip and them moved to her head, he was glad for the extra manpower.

Until Venice pointed out he was standing a bit too much on the tips of his boots to be as capable as him. Flushing a beet red, he hunched his shoulders and squeezed Apaitie's neck as hard as ever, fueled by another person he wanted to snap the life out of.

"JUST SNAP HER NECK ALREADY OR PUNCH HER!" He barked, still flushed from ear to ear.

He grumbled as he held tightly. ..to your height. I'll show you my height...

Oh god...the other knight wasn't going to trade places with him...he had to go for the kill. Biting down on his lip he really hoped he could do this. Dropping his left hand to her jar, and gripping tightly, his right hand shoved hard to the left while his left hand shoved to the right side. He was intent upon trying to do what he was now being tasked with - killing. He had accepted she needed to be killed, that he could or should help. But still as he did this his eyes snapped closed.

He really hoped he could do this, that he could help, and could do something which would help a lot in this war - help to balance things. Biting down on his bottom lip as he had put as much force into the action as he could.

Apatite was not going down easily. She had slashed and sliced at every body close to her, and she had drawn blood.

But not enough.

The hand around her neck did not seem to surprise her, but instead she looked at Gevaudan coyly. There was madness in her eyes.

And then her neck snapped.

Over to Venice.

For all of his pressure, he did no damage to her. She was not breathing; she couldn't, with Gevaudan's grip. But it wasn't slowing her down at all. She didn't even seem to be trying to breathe. Which meant she was just holding her breath.

Erebus may have had an arm, but it didn't stop her. With her one free arm, she reached out and elbowed Venice, hard, in the gut, and swung her arm to try and cuff him in the face, for good measure. He may have been behind her, but she proved to be highly resilient—and flexible.

She was not so kind to Gevaudan, who, low to the ground as he was made him the easiest target for kicking. Particularly in the groin.

For that, she was merciless, and she kicked as hard as she could, with clear intent to bring him to his knees before her.

"You think you can stop me?" she choked. She dismissed her weapons and her now free hand shot out to grab the front of Chaldene's uniform when he tried to strike her temple. She jerked the arm Erebus was holding; instead of trying to pull it away, she grabbed the front of his uniform.

And then she teleported away.

It wasn't too far—to the top of the stairs. She was gasping for breath now, between her deranged laughter. But this was more than just the magic.

This was her enjoying the fight.

"Oh, boys. So eager to get your hands all over me. I tell you, I just love it when you fall for me."

And then she threw the two she had abducted, hard, down the stairs.

Her attention went back to the ground below; immediately she targeted the ones who had targeted her. Driven by revenge, her chakrams were in her hands once more. She sucked in a large gulp of air—the only other sign that she had been affected by the Knight's harsh grip.

With no hesitation, and with all her might, she flung her chakrams back towards the group that attacked her, waited a few seconds to let them damage whoever was in the way—and then teleported back in. She was only just barely coming out of her feral rage and her movements were still fairly uncoordinated—but she was drawing blood however she could. Fists flying, nails scratching, chakrams spinning: she was a whirlwind of bloodlust and madness.

Watching the fighting the knight of Polaris finally moved to the front of the group. She's already said, when she'd joined them, she could block things which were aimed for them and now was her time to do so. She could do nothing for the two who the General Queen had dropped but she could try and block the incoming weapons.

Standing in front of Venice, Gevaudan and the rest of their party she brought up her weapon. Focusing her magic on the shield she wanted to produce she hoped it would help and keep them safe...even for a short few seconds. If it was strong enough to deflect some of the damage, or all of it, for a short bit it would help the others surely.

"Looks like we need another plan to handle her." She said her lavender eyes glancing to Gevaudan. "We can't let her live, it's us or her." She was too mad, drowning in the lust to kill them and perhaps bathe in their blood? It seemed like something this one would do. If it didn't handle the incoming weapons than perhaps the General Queen herself if she decided to come after them again - as it seemed like she'd do just that.

Magic:
  • Squire: At this point the shield she can cast will last 30 seconds. Her magic will hold back all agents of chaos that are at her level or lower. The shield itself, size wise, is five foot in radius. So it gives her the ability to protect more than two people, in case one needs treatment from someone else.

Gevuadan, the VERY SORE knight of Ganymeade

Gevaudan had tensed as he gripped as hard as he could, but as she turned and that glint was in her eyes, he couldn’t help but do what came naturally.
    He grinned.
The look in her eyes was hungry for his death, and he felt a surging sense of pride for the General Queen to want him dead and be that hard set for his destruction. She wanted to protect her castle, her people, and despite being the enemy, he too had felt that same feelings. He also knew the crazed desire for blood and death in all it's raw heat, and it just so happened he wasn't on her side anymore. That didn't mean he couldn't feel pride for the Negaverse still and a swelling appreciation for the General Queen to bless their side with her strength and loyalty.

She wanted to fight and win just as badly as he did.

In moments she lashed out, twisting and turning to do whatever dirty trick she needed to get the upper hand. He hadn't dismissed teleportation, which was why he wanted to make her black out or die before she thought of it. But before she did, she delivered a hard kick to one of the most unguarded and softest parts of his body, and he dropped like a stone to his knees with a hard, whining curse.

Hands between his legs, he watched as the purple lights of the castle flickered and twisted as his mind tried to process the blinding pain that made his stomach hurt and teeth grit tight so hard he felt he was going to break his jaw.

Curling in, he hadn't processed what was going on, until he looked up to see her call out to them before tossing the senshi and knight down to the ground. Down the – STAIRS!
    They were RIGHT THERE!

"The…" He staged up. "…The stairs!" He called out, but she was there in a flash to meet them, lashing out with blades, nail, and body to get them to fall to her.

Bleeding and sore, he knew they couldn't just keep playing with her. Cackling back, he braced himself. He was going to take that Chakram and before she could summon it back, he was going to shove it right through her skull.

"COME AT ME, APATITE!! Show me if you are half the General Queen Tanzanite!" In her crazed desire to kill, he met it with his own and threw his bleeding body at her arm, going to see if he could take that Chakram for his own. He needed something sharp for what he wanted to do, and once he threw his body into her, he gripped that arm and went to bite into that wrist of hers.

They weren't going to make it. He wasn't going to make it. She wanted them dead. They were in the castle of all places. She was in her way and the stairs were right there. He had to keep her away. He had to kill her. He had to do something to open a way. If he had to bleed over her to blind her, if he had to break his own teeth and shove them down her throat, if he had to stop her Chakrams with his own ribs, he would need to do just that.

He knew the Negaverse castle. He knew these people. He had bowed to Apatite before many times, taking the knee and feeling a rush of pride and envy as they had lead meetings. He knew that all and knew what he had agreed to do the moment he wanted to enter the castle against them more than anyone else here.

He couldn't deny it now - he was a Traitor.

    Saillor Remus, Senshi of Regolith

Remus, standing a short distance away from everything that was happening, watched with wide eyes and a slightly slackened jaw as the ones who had attacked the General King were, most unfortunately, subjected to a series of unquestionably unpleasant maneuvers. He winced at the elbowed gut, flinched at the swing to a face, and whistled aloud at the below the belt.

"That," Remus informed her, "was a low blow."

    A pause.

    "Literally."

The fact that the Negas could, in fact, teleport, was not something Remus had ever been subjected to, and he found himself staring - and standing, stupidly, still. He thankfully had the force of mind to let out a little yelp and try and dodge the chakram that came whizzing towards them all, but the blade still sliced across his upper arm, leaving a line of red in its wake.

"You," said Remus, rather approvingly, his arm stinging painfully, "Are one badass chick."

He darted forward and tried to kick her in the leg as hard as he could.

"Badass, but batshit, just so you know."

He knew they could teleport, had known it when he got into this. Negaverse agents, at least high ranking ones, could teleport and that was a huge advantage they had. He hadn't been expecting her to make it out of the assault on her person, he should have though. She was a General Queen for a reason - right? Surely she could take a beating, especially when she seemed half rabid, and she had proven she could.

Twisting and turning she had gotten free and sent two the ground and than before he knew it she had a hold of him and another - a knight. He wasn't expecting to be teleported, ever, it was a very uncomfortable and somewhat nauseating feeling as they arrived above a set of stairs - oh s**t. Before he could do anything he was falling. Bracing for impact, hands moving to cover his face, he hit the ground - hard.

Gasping he lay there breathing hard as he tried to fight away the pain enough to move. He needed to move he needed to help. They had to handle her - right? Or maybe not...that knight, the white and red one, had mentioned stairs and going down - right? They were on stairs and they went down. Lifting his head enough to see that she seemed busy, very busy, he turned and crawled down the stairs. "Come." He called out weakly, in the hopes the knight who had been thrown down with him was alive and able to move - even if it was just to crawl and flop down the steps like he was doing. What more damage could he do to himself? He likely had something sprained, maybe broken, there could be twisted things but he didn't care. They were close...so close - right?

Bending over, his knees bending as well as his mid section, he had not been expecting that. He should have expected something, and perhaps he did, but not to be elbowed or as hard as he was. She hadn't been breathing! How the hell had she the strength for that when she had been holding her breath? Thankfully he'd dropped almost instantly so missed being cuffed in the face. But being hit when he was already cut and bleeding in his mid section - painful. Pain radiated from his mid section but he looked up when she grabbed two people and vanished.

Forcing himself to straighten up he stared at where Erebus had been a moment ago. He wanted to, and would have, called out for him but then she reappeared, both eternal and squire in hand, and dropped them...down the stairs.

Breaking away from the group he went running after the two, he had to see if they were ok...especially Erebus.

it seemed the eternal was moving and alive and mumbling about stairs and going down, and was flopping down the stairs like a goldfish out of water. Down the stairs...wait...hadn't Gevaudan mentioned going down stairs? He had - right? he hadn't misheard or misunderstood. That meant they were close!

Hurrying to help Chaldene down to the bottom of the steps he raced back up to get Erebus. "Close...down stairs we go."

Ganymede watched Apatite's descent into insanity (b***h was totally crazy) and her counterattack on their struggling group with a mix of horror and, surprisingly, a bolt of confidence. The further she went off her rocker, Ganymede thought, the sloppier and more careless she was going to be, which was good for them. Ganymede had no delusions that they could actually disarm Apatite the traditional way, given how easy it was for Apatite to summon her weapons back, but they could overwhelm her and throw her off guard.

They'd been so close already. They just needed a little more luck on their side.

Quickly, Ganymede tried to devise some sort of a plan. Naturally she questioned herself the whole time, unsure if she was even any good at it, but she figured there was no harm in trying. They were probably ******** either way. Best to try something than stand around doing nothing.

“You,” she said to Delphi, “keep doing that shield thing as much as you're able. Conserve it when you can. Only use it the block her weapons.”

“You,” she said to Antares, “you have no obligation to listen to me, so feel free to ignore me if you want, but we can't disengage. There is nowhere for us to go. Try to distract her. Break her focus. If you can get close enough without putting yourself in too much danger, try to break one of her arms.”

GEV!” she called, and she didn't care if Apatite heard because Gev was right there. It would only take seconds for him to follow through. “PULL HER ARMS OUT OF JOINT OR BREAK THEM!”

b***h couldn't throw her weapons around if she couldn't use her arms.

Val,” she said, and she looked at her husband seriously. “I want you to come with me.”

Ganymede threw herself into a full out run toward whatever stairs she could find. She just had to make it down. They just had to keep going. They just had to find Metallia and end this. They could do it. Apatite could teleport all she wanted. She could throw her chakrams around if that's what got her off, but they had enough people on their side to deal with her. Ganymede was sure about that.

And even if she was wrong, she could die knowing she'd given it her best.

    Valhalla of Jupiter

When Valhalla had jumped in to attack Apatite, he hadn’t expected everyone else to do the same. He realized they were assuming just as much risk as he was in fighting her, but he didn’t want them hurt.

Apatite retaliated and Valhalla let out a cry of pain as he was knocked back from her weapons. He could feel the heat of blood from the cut on his side, and knew the deep gouge in his breastplate would leave a nasty bruise, but thankfully kept him from being cut right through.

He stumbled back a bit, watching in surprise as the already injured Gevuadan tried to attack Apatite by locking his arms around her neck. Others jumped in as well, and Valhalla felt his face pale at the thought of them getting seriously injured.

Still, killing her hadn’t been what he had in mind. Subduing her, yes, but what was killing her going to do?

Okay, so she was a little crazy, and obviously a huge threat, but Valhalla was still against it!

Even though he wanted to, he didn’t have time to call out to the others to maybe reconsider. Apatite was out to kill them, and that was very obvious with how she lunged for them once more. He felt the blade whip past him, and he held his arms up to protect his face, the blade catching hard against the bracer protecting his forearm.

“s**t,” he hissed, watching in horror as Chaldene and Erebus were taken and then thrown from the stairs.

    The stairs…

Valhalla whipped wildly around to look for Ganymede, whom he heard calling out to the others on what they should do. He was already in motion when she told him to go with her, heading towards the stairs and hoping the others would be okay. They were already willing to sacrifice everything in order to try and take out Metallia, and this might be their only chance to ever do that.

They had to take the risk. He hoped the others would understand that they had to try, now. Even if he wanted to stop and make sure the others who'd been hurt were okay, he couldn't.

If they didn't make it to Metallia in under an hour, then all of this was pointless.

"Do you feel anything?" he called to Ganymede, still unable to feel auras for himself, so he was running blindly, if not on her direction. "Is she here?"

Nodding her head to the orders given by Ganymede the squire had let her shield fall, when she needed to. It wouldn't hold long against a General Queen and she wouldn't waste her magic. She didn't know how much she had, how strong it would be, or for how long it would last. She had never really used her magic especially to it's full extent.

She hoped she could use it more and help handle the General Queen. For now though her weapon was banished, she could resummon as needed, and she moved into try and retrain the crazy General Queen. If this b***h was going to claw at people and b***h fight than Delphi was down for it. Her coat came off, let to fall on the floor, and the squire of Polaris moved in to go for the face and stomp on feet. While hoping, and trying, to avoid those weapons of hers. "Someone needs to seriously put you in a padded room." She hissed out, an accent which normally wasn't there was making it's presence known as she spoke, as she lost her cool and calm exterior. She wasn't about to fly off the handle like Ms. Batshit though.

    Erebus, Squire of Saturn

He had managed to grab on to one of her arms like he had planed but unfortunately no one else had grabbed her other arm. Apatite acted so fast that Erebus had no time to do anything as she was knocking Venice and Gevuadan way with some well placed blows and he certainly didn't have time to react when instead of forcing him away she pulled him closer. The teleport made his head spin which was only added to when the General Queen tossed Chaldene and himself down the stairs.

He managed to bring his arms up around his head as he tumbled down the stairs so he thankfully didn't take any head wounds. This did leave the rest of him open for it though so he would not be surprised if later he found his body covered in bruises. When he landed on the bottom it took him a moment or two before he opened his eyes thanks to the world spinning but between his brain screaming to not lay so defenseless during a battle with crazy Negaversers and Gevuadan mentioning the stairs, he managed it. He shifted so he was on his elbows by the time Venice got to him, having landed face down, and gave him a pained smile. "At least that trip got us closer?" He said with a wince as he got up with the Page's help then down the stairs the rest of the way they went to meet up with the Eternal.

"Sounds like we're about to have more back up." He said in reference to Ganymede and Valhalla trying to join them.
