On a black desk is a small beige book made from hard paper and a kind of cardboard. On the front is an orange emblem resembling a smiling sun, something very child like. It has the word "NOTEBOOK" printed on the cover in a dark brown color. Just inside the book, you can see that it has an odd kind of binding which allows pages to be inserted into the book at any given time. There aren't very many pages as of yet, but from what there is, it can be seen that each of the pages looks different sometimes depending on his mood when he writes. The ink is in various colors of oranges and reds, at times even black, but only on the rare occasion. Beside the notebook sits a snowglobe with a sun and moon that twirl together when it's wound up. The snowglobe emits a music box tune of "You are my Sunshine".

He really has no gauge when it comes to being considerate as he tends to just speak his mind. At this point, his honesty may become a bit brutal and his lack of understanding others don't help either. ...Impulsive// Lucian is impulsive like his mother. Never taught that things should be planned through in advanced, he tends to live in the moment. He's prone to changing his objectives on a whim without any thought or prior notice. This can also get him into trouble as he pretty much does whatever he wants without thinking about the consequences of his actions. ...Feminine Pushover// When it comes to women, Lucian has absolutely no spine. Since his accident with his sister that left her permanently blind, Lucian has become increasingly afraid of girls and will usually give them whatever they want until he has enough time to slink away to hide. He so afraid of hurting girls, that there is practically no boundary to what a girl could convince him to do. However, the more physical contact he has with a girl, the more scared he begins to become. ...Gullible// If told that "gullible" was written on the ceiling, he would look up only to realize he'd been standing outside the whole time. Lucian is horribly gullible, also another affect of being disconnected from others. He can never tell if someone is lying to him, being sarcastic, or just being honest.

Mental powers don't work well on him, and he can at least tell right away when someone is trying to manipulate him through mental attacks. However, because of his feminine push over flaw, he is extremely susceptible to being influenced by females and subconsciously does not resist mental attacks from girls. [14]

Darkness>> He is especially weak to darkness and dark-type attacks. The sun can't shine on a cloudy day. [12] Water>> He's not especially fond of being doused in water and even more so about being completely submerged in water as he cannot swim due to a traumatic childhood experience.[18/30] Cold>> Being in a position where his body temperature begins to drop, Lucian will start to become very weak and possibly sick. Warm>> Lucian is actually quite warm to the touch all the time. He prefers it that way. When he's happy, his body temperature rises. He won't burn anyone outright if you touch him, it's just significantly warm for a person.

Leukos stared down at the ground as he shuffled his feet slightly, standing in the Main Building, waiting for his father to show up. It had been so long, he almost forgot what he looked like, what he sounded like. Leukos missed him dearly and even more so missed his mother. Leukos fiddled with the photo in his hand, staring at it intently, his eyes narrowed in deep thought.
“Hey kiddo, you’re gonna get wrinkles thinking that hard.” Lucian joked as he approached the small boy. His smile was soft but excited. “It’s been a while, hasn’t it?”
Despite being being intent on his thoughts about the subjects of the photo, it was easily broken by the voice of his father. “Daddy!” he exclaimed and a smile swept over his face, running to hug him.
Lucian chuckled at Leukos’ enthusiasm, though he was just as happy to be reunited with his son. “Sorry it took so long.” He apologized then his eye caught something, whatever Leukos had been holding. “What do you got there?” he asked, raising an eyebrow in curiosity.
Leukos hesitated then handed the photo over to Lucian. “I found this when I was walking around the sanctuary. Who are they?” Leukos stared at Lucian with concern and anticipation for any kind of answer.
Lucian’s face softened lovingly as he saw the picture of his mother but then it dropped into a grim frown as he noticed Rasiel was also in the picture. He sighed, then offered a hand to Leukos. “Let’s walk to our new house. I’ll explain on the way.”
Leukos nodded and took his hand, walking with him. He was relieved that he might actually get a real answer, maybe even find out if they were Melody’s parents.
“The girl in the picture is my mother. So your grandmother. Her name was Alice. She died a long time ago, before you were born. Alice was killed by the man in the picture now known as Rasiel the Killer. He disappeared and no one has seen him since.” Lucian tensed up, “I’ve been searching for him, the man that killed my mother. He will pay for what he did. Alice wasn’t the only one either. He is dangerous, and he’s killed so many people. Be thankful that Rhun has protected you in my absence, and that now there is a sanctuary to protect us all from people like him.” As they reached the house, he unlocked the door and paused, looking to Leukos. Lucian handed the photo back to him. “Why were you so interested in them?”
Leukos shifted uneasily, his eyes darting away. “No reason.” He forced out quickly.
Lucian opened his mouth to question him but then his eyes caught sight of something. Someone. A small girl was hiding behind a lamp post, peeking out shyly, a look of concern on her face. He looked curiously at her then back down to Leukos. Lucian sighed and waved her closer.
Leukos whipped his head to look at Melody with concern. As she approached cautiously and fell right behind Leukos to cling to his hand with her own, Leukos stood firm and looked at Lucian with determined eyes. “She’s alone… Please let her stay… I’m all she has.” He half-pleaded.
Melody peeked her head out and Lucian’s eyes widened. It all made sense now why Leukos had questioned the picture. She looked just like his mother, but the faint marking seemed to suggest a similarity of Rasiel though it was faint enough to be unsure about it. Though, it could be a pretty good assumption on who Melody’s father was. Lucian could feel tears threatening to find surface as the memories of Alice stirred violently. “Yes. Absolutely.” He answered simply, motioning for them to both enter. “What’s her name?”
“Her name is Melody. Professor Rhun watched over us together since she was born.”
Lucian took note of how close they seemed to be, nodding in response. “Well, Melody, I’ll take care of you. So know that you are safe here.” He felt uneasy about taking her in with the possibility of her being Rasiel’s daughter, but that was a chance he was willing to take. Especially to make his son happy.
“PUT ME DOWN!” Leukos screamed through a mess of tears as he struggled hard within Lucian grasp. “DON’T TOUCH ME, YOU LET HER DIE!!” he shrieked as he began to glow brighter.
Lucian hesitated, a pained expression on his face as he came close to the ground and simply dropped him, landing feet to the ground himself as he stared down at Leukos. He paused then kneeled down and hugged Leukos suddenly. “That could have been you.” He choked out, terrified of losing his son in the mess the EE had carved through the war.
Leukos shoved Lucian hard, knocking him back as he glared with an intensity that challenged the burning anger of the sun itself. “I wish it had been. I could have saved her. She didn’t deserve this.” He spoke with his voice bitter and full of spite.
“Leukos, you don’t understand! Those people would have killed you! Or worse…” his voice trailed off. “It’s why we fought to protect the future.. to protect you.”
“I don’t care about any of that!! You think I’m too young to understand what’s going on here! That you, and mom, and Andy…. You all fight to protect us. And with that comes enemies, but don’t you dare try to act like Melody is just a casualty in all this. She’s more of a family than you or anyone else has been!!” he yelled, finally letting out all the anger he kept within.
Lucian was silent as Leukos revealed how much he knew. “Luekos…” he whispered, fighting back tears. “I’ll find her.” He whispered. “The bullet… there’s a chance it didn’t kill her. If she’s still alive, they would want to keep her alive once they realize how important she could be.”
“Because she’s Rasiel’s daughter.”
Lucian’s eyes widened for a moment, then softened them again. He simply nodded, finally realizing just how smart Leukos was. “I’ll prepare to leave. I’ll get back Andy and Melody.”
Leukos glared, “I’m going too.”
Lucian glared back, “Absolutely not. You saw what they did to them, you think they’d treat you any better. You don’t have the luxury of being what they want to survive against them.”
“You don’t even know who they are,..”
“Luekos, I will not fight with you on this! I will have to talk to Rhun about all this anyway, and I will arrange for you to stay with him again until I return. That’s final.”
“What, because you think I’m too young to fight in the renegade? I’ve seen metas my age fighting on the news. I want to save her! She needs me!!”
“LEUKOS.” He shouted his name, anger rising.
Leukos narrowed his eyes then took a deep forced breath, still furious about it all as he turned and ran to house they stayed in without another word.
Lucian sighed. This was the worst, fighting with his son. But he knew Rhun will probably be just as upset to hear what happened to Melody. He dreaded it but still took out his cellphone and texted Rhun. They needed to talk. He said it was about Melody, but nothing more. He hoped this went well. He wanted to stay here at the house to make sure Leukos didn’t try anything stupid.

Rhun held Mirabelle’s hand, helping her step up as they stood in front of Lucian’s home. Rhun had a unsettled feeling about it but dismissed it, this was just routine by now. He still dawned the mask for now, not wanting to be hassled about the scar that ran across his face underneath just yet. He squeezed her hand lightly before letting go to knock on the door. The door slowly opened and Lucian let them inside, shifting uneasily as he saw Mirabelle and kept his distance from her.
Rhun sighed and looked to Lucian, “So what’s going on? What’s wrong with Melody?” he asked, then shifted his vision to the quiet house, the silence starting in a dread in his stomach. “Where is she?”
Mirabelle took a look around and furrowed her brows lightly. “She’s not here…?” she asked, looking concerned.
Lucian swallowed hard and looked away, “She and I got into it, she ran away. I asked Andy to go after her so I could watch Leukos and make sure he didn’t try to run off after her. Though, he did anyway. When I found him, we saw a bunch of people from some organization. They had attacked Andy. Melody was caught up in all the mess and she…. She was shot… It’s unsure whether she’s..” he paused. “They took her.” His voice lowered, straining with pain, “They took them both.”
Rhun was visibly tensing up as he listened to Lucian explain what happened, his fists clenched hard in at his sides. He suddenly grabbed Lucian by the collar, shoving him and pinning him against the wall hard. “And what the ******** did you do?! Because I see you still standing here and not going to go get her!!”
“R-rhun!!” Mira gasped in surprise, standing frozen watching them. She was pained to hear someone had captured Andy just after they were reunited again, but what might very well have been a facility just like she had been apart of, but she couldn't let that distract her from the situation at hand.
Lucian was taken back by the sudden violence, shoved against the wall. Wincing, he looked at Rhun. “I’m going to go get them. I’m sorry. Andy is with her, she’ll make sure-..”
“Andy can’t do that!! You know what they’ll do to Andy?! She’s not going to have any means to protect Melody from them!! Why the ******** do you think they were able to take her too!! You ******** idiot!!! YOU ******** IDIOT!!!” he was screaming, anger boiling over. “THIS IS YOUR FAULT!! I’LL ******** KILL YOU IF THEY HURT HER!!”
Lucian clenched his teeth, “You act like you’ve been her father her whole life, from what Leukos tells me, you weren’t exactly there for her either!! So don’t go placing all the blame on me!!” he retaliated, not wanting to be Rhun’s verbal punching bag for something he should also take responsibility for.
Rhun’s glare intensified as he let go of Lucian’s collar and took a step back. “Don’t you ******** tell me that I wasn’t there for her.. I did what I could for her. She’s everything to me… because she is my daughter.”
Lucian seemed confused as he stared at him, “So you lied about finding the egg… and so Rasiel..” he tried to piece it together but it wasn’t making sense.
Rhun clenched his teeth hard then grabbed the mask and pulled it off suddenly to stare down Lucian. “I am Rasiel.”
“Are you ******** kidding me, Rasiel?! Are you ********. KIDDING. ME!!” now he was mad, his only skin beginning to glow in anger. “You are the worst father in the world!! Pretending to not be her father but her caretaker and just… This is absolutely insane!! And you.. YOU. YOU ******** TRICKED ME!! MADE ME TAKE CARE OF YOUR ******** KID SO YOU COULD PLAY DRESS UP AND ACT LIKE NOTHING WAS WRONG?! WHILE PEOPLE LIKE US ARE FIGHTING FOR YOUR LUXURY?! YOU MAKE ME SICK, RASIEL!!”
“NO. YOU LISTEN. EVEN DESPITE TRYING TO GIVE MELODY THE BEST LIFE I COULD, AWAY FROM THE LIFE OF A KILLER’S DAUGHTER, I STILL TOOK CARE OF HER AND LEUKOS AND KEPT THEM SAFE FROM THE WAR YOU ALL KEEP FANNING THE FLAMES OF. I CARED FOR LEUKOS FOR FIVE YEARS IN YOUR ABSENSE. YOU HAD MELODY FOR TWO WEEKS. AND SHE’S POSSIBLY DEAD. SO WHO HERE IS THE WORSE FATHER, HUH?!”
“Stop!” Mira cried out suddenly, garnering both of their attentions, “Fighting like this will do any good. She has a tracker on her, so Mira will look into where they might have taken her. Mira was recently put into the position of running Spectrum herself since the discovery of secret projects. Mira will take the position fully and do what she can to help. But you both need to put your anger aside and focus on the problem. Andy and Melody need your help. Rh-… Rasiel.. you will have to stay here at the sanctuary. You have to remain the beacon of hope and safety. If the headmaster starts getting involved, that could make this place a target for more fighting. Lucian, you need to come with Mira and we will sort out what can be done to find them and get them back.” She took a look around once more, “We need to have Leukos come with us as well.”
Lucian shut down his anger quickly at the request from Mirabelle, complying completely to her words. “He’s in the bedroom.”
Rhun was trying his best to wrangle in his anger. Mirabelle was right, they needed to focus, but he couldn’t keep his thoughts clear with the thought of what they’d do to Melody.
Mirabelle looked a bit confused, “No he’s not… Your aura is the only one Mira sees here.”
Lucian’s eyes widened as he darted for the bedroom, the window was open and a note on the bed, telling him that he was leaving to save Melody himself. Lucian’s heart sank hard as he fell to his knees.
Mirabelle moved to him and placed a hand on his shoulder. “The faster we act, the sooner we can get them all back.” She spoke softly but with determination.
Lucian tensed at her touch, then pulled his shoulder away and nodded slowly. “Please.”
Rhun sighed, they were both in the same boat now. They need to work together to get both of their children back, and Andy. Despite being the strongest member of EE, she would go down pretty easily once they broke through to her heart. Something he wanted to avoid at all costs.
Mirabelle had been sitting in a chair next to Lucian as he typed away on her laptop. It was much easier than waiting for the text-to-speech to read her what was on the screen. She had given Lucian full access under her name to use Spectrums files any way he could to find any leads into finding Andy and Melody. It had been a day or two, sleeplessly researching, thinking, planning. They were tired as Mirabelle desperately tried to stay awake.
"s**t!" Lucian cursed suddenly as Mira jolted to sit up straight. Looking quizzically in his direction, she waited for him to explain his outburst. "They took down her poster.. Her bounty is gone." he felt dread wash over him that meant she was definitely captured, and the likeliness of her being dead was at an all high. He was trying to keep his emotions in check as he pushed through the tears in his eyes and the anger in his soul.
"No. Please don't say that." She begged softly, tears in her eyes as Lucian remained silent. " Mira.. refuses to believe that..." She protested. "Check the cross reference database for transport drops. Maybe they transported her. Maybe there is still time."
Lucian lowered his head, his voice becoming cold, "I'm sorry Mira, we need to focus solely on Melody now."
"Lucian, please.."
"Mira!! Don't make me say it. Please don't make me say it.." he begged, his heart threatening the break.
"There must be a way to find out for sure."
"Mira, we can't know, I can't tell you either of them will be okay... I can't see the future!!"
Mirabelle hesitated then stood, face turned away as she looked stern and determined, "Mira can..."
"Mira, you can't even control what you see. You'll end up hurting yourself. You'll end up hurting Aiden!"
Mirabelle seemed to glare in his direction as she then ran to her bedroom, pulling open the drawer in her nightstand hard. She pulled out a bottle of high grade pain killers that she had stowed away.
"Mira don't!!!!" and shouted as he ran after her but by the time he had reached her, she had already taken a large handful stuffed into her mouth. "MIRA!!" he screamed as she took a step forward and she stumbled.
"S-SATYA!!" she shouted as her eyes began to glow. Bright enough to fill the room, after only a moment, blood began to pool up at the base of her eyes, following down her cheek. A few more moments. What seemed like a life time. Then she collapsed on the floor.
Lucian ran to catch her as she fell to the floor. "Dammit,... GOD DAMMIT!!!" he cursed loudly.
"We can't see Andy... Only Melody... She at SIU.. The second war is beginning. It starts with us. And we will foolishly accept it... " Satya spoke calmly then closed her eyes and passed out.
Lucian picked her up and place Mirabelle in the bed then returned to the laptop, beginning to research everything he could about SIU. "..let the war come then.."
