Things had been relatively quiet at the compound of SIU, well, as quiet as they could be for a normal day. Melody had been running around passing out cookies to make everyone's day brighter, she had made them herself in the shape of hearts with pink icing.

She had approached a lot of people, guards stationed around since they worked super hard and the metas that she knew around SIU.

She had found Tri and Ree, offering them both a cookie each with a smile.

She had gone to Mara's office and placed a cookie on her desk and ran off giggling.

She gave the weird Zira girl one cookie to give to her owner. Quite puzzled about her, she shook her thoughts about all that.

She then stopped at Hexxis' room, peering in to look at Hexxis.

Hexxis had been getting better after talking with Tri again, she was eating normally again, though she still had a lot of sleepless nights, but was slowly becoming more responsive to others, though she still hadn't talked much, other than the occasional short response here and there, only ever talking to Tri almost exclusively. She still seemed to be affected internally by the past event but hadn't had any more ash appearances in a while. She had sat on the bed humming to herself, staring out into her room when she blinked and looked over to see Melody in the window of her door. Hexxis suddenly clenched her teeth furiously and jumped down from the bed and ran at the door, stopping just short of the door to glare at Melody face to face. She then punched the door angrily, denting it in lightly. Melody backed up in fear and then ran off. Hexxis watched her run away, dropping the tension in her body as Hex then turned to the camera in her room and began to wave her arms.


After she had passed out all her cookies she playfully ran around the compound, exploring new places, a bright smile on her face. Today was a good day.

"What's happening.. are we good to start?" a female voice cracked over the radio.

"I don't know." his lip twitched in annoyance.

"Just calm down.. and remember the plan. We strike at 1:30pm exactly."

He looked at his watch, that was in 30 minutes. "Got it." he confirmed, pulling binoculars up to his face as he laid on the hill in the far distance. "Are you almost done?"

"I've been done for 15 minutes now." she laughed. "Everything is in place. These idiots won't know what hit them... Operation Chaos is ready to initiate as planned."

He sighed, "Don't call it that..."

"They are in for a treat.."

"Stop."

There was an audible laugh then the radio emitted noise then fell silent.

He sighed again and kept watch on the grounds as he waited for the time to count down.

Ree blinked and looked after Melody curiously before turning to look down at the cookie she had left them. Tri was also looking as his curiously over the electric boards that were spread out on the table.
"You first?" Ree said with a grin as he flicked the cookie between his pointer and middle finger, holding on to it tightly then before it fell.

Tri smirked and put his down. "That was nice of her" he said picking up a screwdriver and gong back to work. Ree tilted his head and made a soft mrring sound. "You can have it" Tri chuckled as Ree took it along with his cookie and went back to reading the book in the sun a few feet away. Today was one of those rare restful days. He needed to go back and pick up Hexxis but was giving her time to eat before he did.

Mara eyed the cookie on her desk with a suspicious, she heard Melody had convinced herself into the kitchen and then later had been running around passing out some heart shape cookies that going form people said were good. "...hmph" looking around her office she finally reached for the cookie and inspected it closely before finally taking a bite. "..... heh" she smirks and took a sip of coffee as she moved to her computer to finish writing that report before the next meeting of the day.

Melody giggled and turned the corner toward her room and stopped at the door, knocking on it. Waiting for a moment, the door clicked open and the girl who is actually known as Melody answered it sleepily. She went to scream in surprise but the other girl covered her mouth and shoved her back into the room, moving into the room and shutting the door. "Shhhh.... Need to leave now. You are being rescued."

Andy had been writing in her journal as she sang to herself and jotted down the lyrics. She was so wrapped up in singing that she hadn't heard Kage come in. As he suddenly wrapped his arms around her, she tensed up and grabbed his arm hard, about to start into a take down mover but froze, instantly realizing who it was and let go of his arm. It was weird that her instincts had her in such a violently defensive mode sometimes, but she figured she was just a skittish person. "Kylar!" she half-scold and sighed. "One of these I'm going to end up hurting you on accident..." she warned and the caught sight of the box. "What's that?" she inquired, leaving forward slightly to close her journal and turn her head to give him her full attention, smiling.

Zira entered Kae's room where they stayed at SIU and handed her a cookie. "A little girl in pink gave me this cookie to give to you..." she explained blandly.

"Who?" Kae seemed puzzled, the only little girl she knew about was Hexxis and she doubted that Hexxis was the one to give her a cookie. Shrugging the thought, she put took a bite and walked back to the desk strewn with papers and journals and a few pieces of small equipment as she was working on something. "Hmm..." she hummed lightly as she ate the cookie and went about her work.

Zira sat down and stared off, watching Kae and waiting for when she would be called upon to aid the doctor.

Hexxis waved her arms for a while before giving up. She went back to the door and tried to shoulder check the door hard a couple times. "TRIII!!" she yelled out, she wasn't sure if anyone could even hear her, as she punched the door again, leaving a slightly bigger dent then sighed angrily.

Count down start until Operation Candy Man is go. "Stop giving the mission weird names, you sound just like your brother." Sighing with exasperation, he kept looking down on the compound. He looked at his watch. "5 minutes. Everyone ready? You know the plan. Stick to it. I don't want this s**t getting out of hand."

"Hey! It was an accident last time!!"

"right,, sure. Okay, everyone, positions. Kate, announce the black out when you have visuals."

Tri looked up at the wall clock and glanced at Ree who was happily munching on the cookie as he read a physical book. "I am going to go get Hexxis" he said quietly seeing only a white he bobbing a nod before he left the room. Stretching his wings he headed toward Hexxis's room, realizing maybe he should have kept that last cookie and shared it between Hexxis and Ree. To late now, he can always get her one from the bakery downstairs ..or a doughnut.

Reaching he hallway he quicken his steps, hearing something strong hitting metal.

Melody must've still been dreaming, disoriented, she opened her eyes to see, Ree standing it front of her hushing her. She looked confused, scrutinizing the situation. She had no idea what was going on anymore as she stood there, her face full of confusion.

She sighed, "The whole point is me not to hurt you, silly." she jeered a bit then focused on the box again. Tres de Leche. Her face lightened into one of interest and playfulness. "I knew this would be my downfall... curse your sudden but inevitable betrayal of bring to my doorstep my only weakness in this waking world.." she spouted off poetically, being dramatic on purpose as part of some game. She smiled at him, "I certainly hope you brought forks or something... it looks delicious."

Kae had been standing over the desk comparing notes between two journals when she started to feel woozy. She opened her mouth to inquiry with Zira about what was happening, alarm barely missing its debut on her face as she seemed more concerned with that was happening. Then Kae suddenly fell to the floor.

Zira was quick to stand and moved to Kae in one swift motion. "Doctor. Are you alright?... That cookie. It can only be deduced that the odd feeling that I had about the girl was true. That was someone else."

Kae was too concerned with herself than to listen to Zira at the moment. Kae shoved her over just a bit, then held onto the side of the desk, pulling herself back, reluctant to be treated like she was weak. However, when she came to a full stand, she could barely see over the desk itself. She narrowed her eyes angrily and moved to the mirror to confirm her suspicious. She was a child, at least in body, her clothes far too baggy around her. Gritting her teeth angrily she tensed up. "Zira, find them. Now!" she commanded with fury. At this point, she had assumed someone had been pranked and she was seeping with rage over it. She did not have time for petty games, she had inventions to make and scientific journals to write. Not a playdate with whoever thought this would be a great idea. With that, just after Zira nodded and melded into the shadows, Kae moved to put on an extra set of clothes meant for Zira, though just a size too big, would have to do for now, as she moved the door and swung it open hard, and trudged down the hall.

Hexxis punched the door again. "TRII!! TRIIII!!!" she kept screaming, eventually she'd garnish someone's attention, she just hoped it was in time. The dents were bigger, but it wouldn't budge the door, she didn't exactly know why she kept doing it if it was so futile.

Tri reached Hexxis's door and frowned, wondering why no one in security had sent him a message that Hexxis was hitting at her door. "Hexxis..." he peered into the room, looking at her eyes, attempting to see if the Malice had finally surfaced.


Mara finally pressed send and moved on to the next e-mail, her eyes reading then scanning what amounted to only four sentences over and over but she couldn't focus. Exhaling quickly she leaned back in her chair and put her hand on her face, darn it...sugar rush? She rarely ate sugary things, that might be it. Just need to get up.

Taking a deep breath she barely felt as her chair straighten as the same amount of weight that had been pushed against it lessen. Exhaling she lowered her hands and stared at her desk, now half a foot below her head instead of the usually foot or so and a half. "What... the heck..." the younger voice that escaped her lips sent a chill through her as she pushed away form her desk and slide to the ground.

As her feet hit the ground, a few seconds later so did her pants. She let out a yelp and pulled it back up quickly, even if there was no one else in the room.Her face slowly turned red as she unbuckled her belt and went as far as she could go. Not very tight but now there was no danger of it falling off her waist easily. "Kae.. Damn it Kae! " Fear shot through her. Kid.. turning into a kid wasn't there something horrible horrible wrong with that other than the obvious? she couldn't remember!

Crouching down she rolled up her sleeves then her pant legs as she shuffled forward in overgrown shoes...remembering the time when she used to borrow her parent's shoes. She was going to kill Kae, how dare she use them all for one of her experiments! Walking into the hallway she headed toward the guest rooms she had lent Kae and her bodyguard, pulling out her phone with some difficulty she messaged Tri and quite a few others. Who knows how far this had gone?

Ree shook his head, feeling light headed as he moved away from the sun. Rolling to his feet he nearly fell over the next moment. Gasping he pushed himself to one hand and lowered his head afraid. Something was wrong.... but he couldn't sense what it was though, it was affecting his cells but he couldn't "see". Another wave of dizziness hit him and he dropped his head ...needed to call Tri or someone. Side-effect from over using his ability?

A sudden respite made him look up warily...he felt.... odd. Pushing himself up his shirt suddenly slide down and he was left with baggy sleeves and shirt over a more slender frame. Even his wings were fitting up through the holes he made in his shirt for them. "........." Oh ... oh no. He was reverting?! Hunting down his phone he tried to call Tri, Tri only went to Hexxis right? he should still be near by.

Ring ring... answer! "Someone help me! " "What the hell " "Come on! this is a joke right? right?! "

Ree glanced out the window, wings bristled in fear as he saw....other kids in baggy clothing outside milling..trying to move around with some decency. Moments later he he felt his phone ring as security sent him a message to give to Mara... people were turning into children. "Oh .......sh**" okay it wasn't him........... it wasn't only him.Sending back a quick text to ask if security had been changed he struggling with his clothing he managed to get his jacket off and wander off in an oversized t-shirt and pants he had rolled up to his knees. Going for 6'0 to somewhere around 4'7 was not easy.

Andy nodded with a smile as she moved to the box and started cutting slices. Part of her was surprised they let her around sharp object with how scared people seemed to be of her. As she made plates with cake on them, she started singing the song she had been writing, the words coming to her so easily like she had performed the song a thousand times. As she finished, she held out a plate to him. "I'm glad you're back.. Its kinda boring just being stuck here in the compound all day." she commented as once he took the plate, she started eating her slice.

Kae was storming down the hallway towards Mara's office, assuming her either the culprit of such a cruel prank or at least knew who did it. "Yes, Zira, find that girl you spoke of and bring her to me. I will deal with her." she commanded to nothing at all. As she made her way into a more populated area and she took in the sight of panic as it became very apparent she was not the only one. Kae pulled out her phone and cursed as there was no signal at all. "You're kidding me.... What the bloody ******** hell is going on here.."

Hexxis halted her action mid-punch as Tri said her name. She looked up at him, looking a little distressed but it was hard to tell. "That girl does not belong here!" she spoke suddenly with slight anger. "Tri, please let me out." she half-demanded through her monotone voice, her face flickering with sternness, determined to do something about the girl that had been in her window earlier.

"Lucian, let's go dark.'

"Roger that." Lucian leapt up from the ground and took off running for the wall surrounding the facility, he thrust his wings hard to give him enough momentum to scale over it easily. Running straight through the front doors.

*Michael, direct me.*

Lucian started to run in the direction towards where Kate would be, meeting him at the point where Melody stayed. He kept moving, knowing that if he had to fight, there was a chance he wouldn't win if his opponent happened to be female. It was a risk but he was willing to take it.
