[TRIGGER WARNING: Torture/Interrogation. Inhumane Brainwashing. Proceed with extreme caution.]SIU:
Lucien was placed inside of a metal cell with smooth walls, 4 levels below the earth in Norcrest's main SIU base. The only distinct feature was the cut outline of a door that had been shut tight from the outside and 5 fist size impressions in the wall high up. Protected flood lights built into the ceiling illuminated every inch of the cell, bright enough to even show the faintly claw marks that lined every wall and a dull discolored area in a corner that could have been blood.
On the floor was a sleeping bag, a basin and one change of clothing. Yet the most distinct feature of the room was that it was cold, very cold but not quite freezing.
Lucien had been dump on the sleeping bag after being heavily sedated and outfitted with an experimental collar made of a thick gunshot colored metal. Something similar was placed around his waist, ankles and wrists all touching skin.
The claw wounds he received had been stitched up at the hospital and barely received any care after he had his talk with (title) Kae. They only change his wet clothing for the old SIU subject clothing, drop him into the cell and waited.
In another room three researchers looked at light and fire meta in one room, a cambion in a second and a muse in the third. All sedated and waiting with a similiar set up and modified collar and restraints.

Lucian stirred a bit, a sharp exhale of visible breath as his body instinctively curled up for warm, shivering. It was cold, something he hated, something he avoided at all costs being a weakness of his. He'd have been trying to keep count of how long he'd been in the cold, but that was hard to tell having just woken up. Who knows how long he'd been there, forcing his tired eyes open, dark circles already forming under them as he looked fairly sick by now. The smallest whimper escaped his lips as he closed his eyes again. He thought the nightmare would be over after his last run in with Kae, as he had confessed they were at fault for the murder of Criel's leader, something they would surely use to back their claims. He sighed, wishing he wasn't so alone in all this. He could suddenly hear someone yelling in the distance. Was that... Leukos?.. no. Couldn't be. Why would he be here of all places. He also heard crying, a child. He tried to look up, his body so weak it almost hurt to move. He opened his mouth to speak but only a raspy noise came out, barely even an audible word as his throat felt raw.Melody was sobbing to herself in her cell, curled up in a sitting position against the wall in the corner. "Maraaa..." she cried out softly, her face red and full of tears.The sound of Melody's cries finally reached him as his eyes snapped open and he started to look around the room. A cell. Why was he here? This wasn't his room. This looked like... a cell. No. He bolted up from the floor, catching sound of Melody's cries, he ran up to the door. "MELODY!" he screamed out. "MELODY, WHERE ARE YOU!? ARE YOU OKAY!?!?"Melody looked up suddenly at Luekos' voice as she scrambled to her feet and moving toward the sound, limping a bit as her leg was bandaged, still injured from the bullet that shot her just a little under a week ago. "Leukos!!" she cried out. "..I'm scared!""Did they hurt you!?""I think I'm okay.. but they put a collar on me.. and other ones on me too." she answered, tears overwhelming her face again. "What's happening, Leukos? Why are we here?" she asked through quiet sobs."...I...I don't know. But I won't let them hurt you, Melody. Okay? I'm right here." he made bold promises, even though he knew he was in no position to say it. "This is a misunderstanding.. Kae will come soon..." he reassured.

"So...have either of you played Pokemon? Do you remember the part when you attack and it goes "highly effective"? Well Lulu seems to be that unfortunate pokemon" a female research said looking at the readout from the collar curiously.
"Lulu...really? It's Lucien. And what the hell" the second researcher turned and looked at the reading and whistled. "Damn....it's not even that cold. Come on the kids are doing fine at that temp. Dr Dras ...look at this "
"It's patient #1 not Lucien or .....Lulu. Same applies for the smaller meta. This is for your own protection " the older man muttered moving closer to the screen and frowned never noticing the look of concern on the faces of the other two. "Raise the temperature 8 degrees see if he evens out. " there was a look of faint concern in his gaze but none of it actually was for Lucien. "We will start now any ways, it doesn't matter if they are fully concious anyways "

Your collars will be raise up to your lowest setting (level 1) while continual refusal will be met out with pain. " the next direction were tailored for each specific cell, recorded in advance.

Lucian could feel it getting slightly warmer as voice came over the intercom explaining that he needed to do as they said or met with pain. He continued to lay there curled up for the moment, thinking. 'What... what would Zaku do about now...' he was thinking, trying to find a better route, trying to stay optimistic. The collars were at level 1, so they could use abilities.... well, it was worth a shot. Lucian began to use magnetism to start messing with the electronics of the inhibitors, focusing on the heart monitor if there was one. Hoping he could get it to read lower, or flicker, or maybe even stop. At this point, he was just desperate to get them to possibly raise to temperature more. Anything to garner more power at this point.

Leukos glared in the direction of the intercom. They wanted powers... well, forget that! He took a step back from the door enough to get a stance and began to punch the outline of the door. Not that he was even remotely strong enough to do any damage, it honestly just made him feel better to take his frustration out on the door. He could hear faint whispers as his breath quicken in uneasiness. He didn't have music, and that was going to start being a problem eventually, but right now, he was fully focused on hitting the door repeatedly, not even dignifying their stupid demands with a response.

Melody took a step back onto her bad leg and winced a little as they explained what would happen now. Her face full of worry as she flinched when the command came. She inhaled shakily, trying to concentrate as best she could, putting her hands together hesitantly. She paused for a couple seconds before exhaling a bit and spreading her hands apart to make a few wires entangling her fingers, they were thin and only a few of them. She stood there waiting for some kind of further instruction, too scared to try to disobey them. She knew she wasn't strong enough to save herself, so it was just better to do what she was told for now.

"Uhh...the readings are flickering?" The female researcher muttered, looking toward the screen showing Lucien then down at the read out that weren't changing number just acting as if they were having a bit of interference.
"Zap room 1 and 2. 2nd command to room 3" the voice said absently, watching Melody on the screen with interest instead.

Lucian opened his mouth, a raspy noise of pain as the device emitted an electrical shock. Curling up from the pain as he closed his eyes tightly. As the pain subsided, he gave an angry grimace, forcing himself to a shaky stand. Well, that didn't work. He may not have many tricks up his sleeve, but he didn't exactly want to be very compliant either. Glaring at the door, he lifted his hand to bring into view a glowing middle finger. "Bite me, assholes." he commented softly.

Leukos yelped as the sudden electrical shock shot through his body. He gritted his teeth from the pain, dropping to one knee. He waited it out even though it hurt so much. Only three seconds, not bad. He grinned and forced himself to stand again and started in on punching the door again. He was determined to keep going, too angry to even think of letting them have anything of his now.

Melody hesitated and slowly put her hands back together, the strings seeming to fade away as she released their form. She stood there frowning as she looked around the cell while wiping her tears on her sleeve a moment. The room felt lonely as she just really wanted to see Mara again. Tears were building up again as she bit her lip, trying not to get too emotional again.

The second researcher snickered "Well he did it in less time that we thought he would. Must faster than his son too.. "
"...are we really supposed to be doing this again? I mean I thought we weren't experimenting on metas...and he look pretty pissed off"
"It's under the exception for Bounty and renegade members. Now just keep working. This is only the start of the long days ahead of us, the the end you won't have to fear them" he muttered with irritation.

Lucian just glared even harder as now the other glowing middle finger accompanied the first. Just standing there with two glowing middle fingers as he started trying to well up fire, his body temperature rising slightly as he shifted his weight shakily from the cold, the warm only lasting a few seconds before dying down again in his weakened state.

Leukos winced hard as she shock came again, half way through humming loudly in pain as he clenched his teeth hard. Now dropping to both knees with a quicken shaky breath. He glared again and forced himself back to a stand again, reaching back with everything he had to continue punching the door. Letting the anger fill him again, he just kept punching, maybe there was a starting dent? He wasn't sure, he just wanted to keep doing it, as she skin on his knuckles was starting to cut from the impacts.

Melody frowned, looking around once more before she nodded slowly and put her hands together again, creating the same wires again. She didn't understand why they kept asking her to do it, but for now, it seemed okay. They were asking something kind of simple, but there was worry in her mind that maybe they'd ask something she couldn't do, getting nervous as she stood there with wires interlaced through her fingertips like a cats cradle. She looked around again looking for a camera or something.

"Well then...." the researcher said staring wide-eyed at Lucien, relieved the readings were now normal instead of shutting off infrequently. She grimaced as she raised the time of the electricity and pressed the button. Happy that the volume was mute
"Oh come on kid" the other researcher muttered as he also raised the time and pressed the button.
Dras smiled faintly at Melody's compliance, the would be easier to train than the other two if she keeps it up. First to test their endurance .with in ability or stubbornness

Lucian double over in pain, as he forced the glow across his body as bright as he could, not ready to give in just yet, but the pain was really getting to him. He didn't want to remind himself about how he had failed the interrogation test they had all gone through to train for this kind of situation. Andy passed with flying collars surprisingly, and even Kira did exceptionally better than he did. In fact, he was the first to break and he felt guilty about that, feeling like a weak link. Now more so than ever as he just kept trying to push himself through the pain.

Leukos screamed out this time, dropping to his hands and knees as the current was only getting longer and longer. Though, he forced himself to withstand it, he had to. Pushing himself back up to a stand, he started into punching the door again, the dent getting slightly bigger as he focused his attack on the same spot as hard as he could manage, his fists hurting and even bleeding, he still wasn't going to give up. "I'm.. going to save you!!" he screamed out, punching even harder than before.

Melody gasped as she heard Leukos scream out. "L-leukos!!" she called back to him with concern as she broke the wires, making them disappear as she moved to the wall where she was confident Leukos was on the other side of, putting her hands against the wall. "Leukos!!!" she called out again, scared.

"Come on just give up already" she muttered as she reluctantly raised the time again.
"....The kid is not stopping..." there was a hint of worry in his voice as he looked up at the lead researcher.
"Give him 30 seconds and repeat the instruction if he doesn't do it just keeping going up by 20 each time until he does it or passes out. We don't have the time for this. Same for patient 1. " he muttered frowning when Melody ran for the walls. Maybe they should have used cells that were further away but a lot of those were faulty anyways.

Lucian fell to the ground, curling up as the pain only increased in time. His glow died down and he just laid there on the ground, refusing to move for the moment. He was trying not to give in, but it was only getting harder with the pain, the cold, and the limited use of abilities. He had pretty much run out of ideas and just allowed himself a bit of time to think of something new or debate on giving up.

Leukos screamed out again, but he refused to let himself fall this time as he just kept punching. His determination and bullheadedness was really shining through. His punches much weaker now that he had been punching at the door for quite a few minutes now, his knuckles bloody and raw. He refused, whispers beginning to creep in at the edges, he couldn't afford to lose now, he had to keep going somehow, break out some way. He felt another shock, and another, increasing the time until he collapsed to the ground and there was nothing but pain now. Tears in his eyes as his body simply couldn't handle it anymore, "...melody..... i'm.... i'm going to save you...." he whispered as his vision blurred and he passed out.

"L-leukos! .... " she could hear him screaming as tears overwhelmed her face, he wasn't responding to her, only screaming as fear rose in her chest. She shakily put her hands together and created strings that only lasted a couple seconds then faded, she couldn't keep control of her power long in the emotional state she was in, as her wires were weak and barely visible. She choked back a sob, still complying with the requests until Leukos went silent. "L-leukos?..... Leukos!!!" she yelled out, and pounded her fist against the wall, just trying to elicit any kind of response from him, but nothing came.

"He's down.... but still awake. continue? " she muttered guiltily. "of course. harden your hearts. you only have to look at the news to see the reason why"
"And......the kid is out" the researcher frowned leaning back in his chair to look at the unconscious body of the cambion.... meta. He almost felt guilt, almost. It was hard enough just not trying to think of them as children but as something worse..each a malice carrier that worked
"Start it up again when he wake, actually no... lower the power and when he moves to normal sleep have the vrecording play and mild electric shocks. I want them to have that as the only thing they ever dream about" there was a sigh, definitely it was a bad idea having them in adjacent rooms. That would be something he will correct the next day, he didn't need to have Melody getting distracted, like now. He pressed a button and leaned back too

An electrical current ran through the devices suddenly for 3 seconds and she shrieked at the pain, not expecting it. She began to sob loudly, panic setting in as Leukos was no longer responding and now they were shocking her. The command came again as she cried, trying to produce the strings but couldn't, a glint from metal but faded quickly. Her face was wet with an unbroken stream of tears as her hands were shaking from fear.

Lucian heard the shriek, a small girl at least. He pushed himself from the ground very slowly, moving to the wall as rested his back against it, wincing from the pain of the burns from his last punishment. He took a deep breath and began to concentrate on another ability. His powers weak to sustain as he was also exhausted.

Melody shrieked again as another electrical current ran through the devices, this time for 5 seconds. "Leukos! Help!!" she was crying out loudly, falling to her knees and sitting down in the middle of the room as she cried. The command had come again and she tried once more, but this time, nothing happened at all. Immense panic and dread set in as she was now coming to expect the pain from disobedience despite her efforts to at least keep trying. She cried even louder, curling up her knees to her chest, wrapping her arms around them as she sobbed, just anticipating the next wave of pain.

Lucian was shocked for 3 seconds, as he was beginning to notice the pattern, planning accordingly. He'd only have so much time to enact his plan before the pain would become too much again. He heard her scream once more and he clenched his teeth, feeling a wave of adrenaline as he focused with everything he had on the other ability. His body was tensing up and his heart rate was climbing rapidly. After a few seconds, we even started give himself a nosebleed with as hard he was trying to use the ability. He imagined her voice, where it was. trying to draw it closer. As close as possible.

Melody screamed out again as the time of the electrical current increased to 10 seconds. Tensing up and staying seated on the ground, just crying now. She didn't even try to make the strings again, it was no use. "I want to go home!!" she cried out loudly. "Mara! Leukos!... somebody... anybody.." her voice became softer as if giving up hope now that she'd ever get out. Too scared to move as felt so alone and she sobbed quietly to herself.

Lucian screamed out as his was shocked for 5 seconds, though he scream didn't end when the current did. He threw his head back against the wall, risking every bit of power he could have for that day on his psionics. Concentrating on Melody as blood ran down his nose, his mind feeling like it was being split open as he concentrated on nothing else. He screamed out once more, giving it all he had, as Melody's form faded from the room she was in and began to appear slowly in front of Lucian until her form was solid again. Exhausted and no power or energy left, he still pushed himself toward her, grabbing and pulling her into a tight hug. "..melody... I'm so sorry.." he whispered, knowing fully well they were not going to like what he just did. He hadn't even considered what they might do to her, but only accepting that he'd likely only feel the punishment for every command he wouldn't be able to fulfill now, having nothing left to give them. Tears were filling his eyes as he placed a hand against the back of her head and just held onto her for dear life and she just continued crying. "...this is all my fault.. i'm sorry.. that I got you into this mess... i'm so sorry."

"What?! I lost her! she disappeared. Quickly. Check on the co-"
"She's here! She's over here! Look! " the researcher stood waving her hands frantically as she motioned to the mute screen.
"Mine is still where he fell.." the researcher muttered leaning back to glance at the other screen and whistled. "Damn... how did he do that at such high resistance?"
Teeth clenched as he stared down at the screen. "Full inhibition on collars and call it in. Then I want one of you to move Melody to another cell away from Leukos." he turned away and moved to call Asriel as his two assistants blinked and looked at each other in alarm as they rushed to do it.Never thinking that that power at such a low chance could be harmful to them, Lucien able to teleport someone without even seeing them..... like a certain murdered politician was moved out from his safe place in Criel all the way across the continent to be killed by one of their own.
"Hello?... What" muttered the voice that answered as he walked through one of the corridors
"Problem. Patient 1 might be stronger than we thought. I don't feel comfortable continuing the the experiment that we spoke of, not after watching him teleport one of the children to his cell. a windowless sealed cell." he muttered as his two assistants scurried around, talking with others as all the collars were placed back on high inhibition.
Asriel stopped cold, eyes widening in fear. "Teleport?! Damn it! Is he contained?!" he blinked and turned around hurrying.
"They are taking their shots now" he said looking at one of the screens as one of the indention in the ceiling opened and the tip of a muzzle could only be seen before two darts went flying toward each subject."Should we terminate?"
"Ye-...No. Not yet. Put a second collar one him. We'll try the old fashion way." he stopped, staring at the protoype suit and one of the new people who offered to take control of one after the other their last two people resigned. "Now getting information is imperative " he muttered and hanged up. Looking at the pilot "Are Ree and Hexxis still at that cabin? "
He gave a one shoulder shrug. "Contacts watching the house haven't said other wise since the signal stopped. So I guess so. Are we finally deploying? " the lazy look turned into excitement leaning into the bloodthirsty.
"Not just yet. A few more hours. we might have a problem here. Just want to be sure"
"Are they down?" he called lowering the phone and moving to look at the screen.
