Pretending to be cool I put on my shutter shades and swag and try to walk with pants at my knees. He hip hop dances and regularly goes to places at tries to 'fit in' when other teens freestyle. He is a master of finger tutting. Okay not a master master but he actually is really good at it versus his other attempts to dance which have ended in many face plants and falls.

I can wiki that Max is a regular editor of wikipedia and as a result, has a very very interesting scattered knowledge of just flatly, random things. From celebrities born on his birthday to the current state of the black rhino, Max just knows weird facts.

AGGRESSIVELY REVIEWS. Yelper level redic. Got a new place to visit he is down for it. He will check in and give everything a critical eye. He will pretend he is the son of Roger Ebert and write pretentiously long reviews and whatnot. He loves new places and new experiences and will seek them out, even if he all by himselffffffff (ohhhhh woahhh)

Virtues:

Diligent -- YO what a nerd: Max is very much the iconic, classical, trope of a dork. Bookworm. Geek. Nerd. He's heavily invested in his books and studies and in a lack of social setting, has developed a habit of focusing extremely on tasks and subjects/materials at hand. He's a hard worker, and wants to improve on everything he does. Collecting, solving puzzles... he.. well he's very much living the dream. If that dream was to be so cliche it hurts. He knows it though. He also embraces it.

Gentle -- Talk softly, and be polite- Max is not a guy who will ever yell if he can help it. Mousey even if he is taller, the boy likes to remain off to the side, and just help and talk when he thinks it best. Sensitive he somewhat maybe, but he's not a push over. He just likes his peace and his space. He likes to treat others how he'd like to be treated and would rather spend his time with someone as quiet and non-verbal as him.

Independent -- Taking care of himself, his work, and in finding his own social interactions, Max is surprisingly good at taking initiative and taking control of situations. He enjoys working alone and thrives best when given work and told to do what he does. He has plans and he can and will do them. Max is, if anything, very suited to one day working a desk job and getting that promotion.

Flaws:

Apologetic -- He is sorry he hurt you friend do forgive him! The most often used word in his vocab is 'sorry'. It's a reaction word at this point since he.. tends to just make mistakes and has nothing else to say. He can blame himself very easily over little things, even if they're not his fault. Sorry, my bad, oh okay... Max wants approval and friendship and he really would like to be a bit more open and vocal but the boy just lacks that social upbringing, so he just deflects to saying sorry. For everything.

Shy -- Did I mention his lack of social skills? Yes. Good. Because Max is a tiny boy who would like to just not be harassed or bullied and can he please be left alone? He isn't anti-social. He actually enjoys large groups and gatherings, but he prefers to be the one to initiate conversations and interactions. He's slow to warm up, but once he has he tends to just show that he is just a boy who likes his personal space.

Yes I want to do the violence upon you what do you mean that is bad and I shouldn't -- Max, when he loses his chill, usually due to being harassed or over stimulated, LOSES HIS ******** CHILL TO THE POINT HE HAS NO CHILL. When chill is lost, Max just acts without thinking, a larger 180 from his usual tendencies. He's quite fine getting into fights at this point, and acting out. If he wasn't homeschooled, this is why he'd be in Hillworth. His lack of social skills means he's got a gap in realizing where sarcasm and joking blends into teasing and bullying which if continued, draws out a reaction. Much like an earthquake, the pressure builds until a single snap. After which he settles, and is chill after.

The knight of Paris was not always known as Paris- Once, they had been Lutetia Parisiorum, or rather, Lutetia. A knight of a forgotten city. Lutetia was the sister city to the earthen city of the same name, yet the city upon Saturn did not trade in goods or act as a crossroads for commerce. The city on Saturn was a crossroads for the dead. A place where the living would have their fallen loved ones set in the deep and expansive network of underground catacombs, all designed and dug miles into the planet's crust.

Lutetia proper was fairly modest hosting few permanent residents and more a place for refuge of the heart and soul. Temples were aplenty for prayer and mourning; Shops devoted to flowers imported, scented candles to light, food to offer, and drink to match. Reverent was the city of it's greater populace- the dead. The people were raise to respect the dead and their bond to the living, giving what they could to ease the passing of a loved one as many who they encountered felt.

However, often, they would replicate their earth counterparts in attempts to be more animated and embrace life that was not so centrally figured around the dead. Great manors and estates existed to host lavish celebrations on the outskirts of the city, yet often went unused as few guests and the city's small populace rarely had a need for them.

What might might have been a fairly simple allure of a peaceful city on the surface, what people would come for was what could not be seen. It was for the greatest tempel of the city, the one that they walked upon, ate above, slept, so near to each night. The Temple of Lutetia, or, The Great Catacombs.

The Catacombs were more than simply a burial place, they were a a place of worship to the dead, where with a guide, one might make offering to a ancestor, or seek out the body of a loved one. It was also a prison in a sense, as once a corpse was interned, it was considered a part of the temple. They were no longer one, but rather one of a greater. Just like the cauldron. It was the Knight's role to act as both the keeper of the Catacombs and it's priest. As the dead would grow in number, the catacombs would be further expanded, going further out, and deeper into the planet. The knight lived in the central and main underground temple, a figure that was respected yet not given much thought.

Now, the city has fallen to ruin upon the surface, and below, the catacombs remain undisturbed. Toxic gasses have remained trapped for several hundreads of years, making various paths now impossible, yet miraculously, nothing has caved in or broken down with age, (with the exception of corpses). Some bodies remain intact due to a natural mummification process, others look as alive as they did the day they died due to certain sealing methods.

The main temple itself is untouched. All that signals the fall and seemly abandoned wonder is the last entry of bodies being interned at the catacombs.
