The nights were cold and the days were wet and everything was miserable. Paris hadn't planned to go out and well, fight people, but he felt that he had to. He'd come farther now, and there was farther to go still. Adjusting his new outfit, the squire, (such an odd title he though, a knight less Squire), was doing what he thought best- following after the signature of a chaos being. He was pretty sure it wasn't a youma otherwise he'd have fled.

Monsters were off his radar. He wanted nothing to do with them.

But for right now, he could maybe fight and protect people from chaos threats. If they were a threat. It was all morally confusing and hard. So when he got closer to the person with chaos?
"S-s-stop right t-t-there!"

He held out the skull like it was a threat.
"You s-s-should go back to-to-wherever it is you came from!" Paris was very non-threatening.

Paris for all his failings was good at one thing. Trying his best. "I- I- I-" Paris wasn't going to stop just because he'd been asked. He might have in the past but that Paris was in the past. The new Paris was a fighter. At least, he was trying to be.

"I said-" He took a step forward, the jaw on the skull clattering in his shaking hands.

"Go back to- to where ever it is you belong!" His free hand lifted just in case. He didn't want to but he would.
"This is our earth. And it's not for you!"

It sounded wrong, even if it was true.

Paris just shifted back and forth on his feet. Didn't... senshi have worlds? Couldn't they go back and just.. fix them? Live there? That was how it was supposed to work. And and-
"The negaverse isn't wrong!" He yelled at her, suddenly feel bad for not only being compared to actual murderers, but that he was defending an ideology that was, technically, correct as far as he had been lead to believe.
"Senshi aren't supposed to be here. This is earth- knights come from here, not senshi." Speaking of, he hadn't ever heard of an earth knight.

He should ask someone about that.

"You senshi have your world and are supposed to be there, protecting them. Knights and agents of the negaverse are like.. the same. We're all from earth but- we'd go an help where we're called?" He wasn't sure how it all worked but- knights are earth senshi are from space. It made sense.

"I-" He didn't know how to respond to the fact that this chaos looking senshi couldn't get to space though.

"Well not getting to space sounds like a personal problem to me! I'm not the one who won't go live or protect their home!" So there, ha! He showed her.

Even as he was backing up at the threat of it getting physical.

Parius was stubborn, and disliked being told he was wrong.

Even when he was. But the code wouldn't lie- Senshi did belong on their worlds. Negaverse agents were knights just within chaos. That... that wasn't wrong. It couldn't be. The evidence supported it.
"Well, yes! All senshi shouldn't be here. You choose to stay here. You refuse to le-"

Then he was hit.

The sudden pain flared up and with a cry of shock he opened the jaw of the skull, noxious fumes bursting forth and burning his lungs. He'd failed. This senshi was just planning on staying. On making things worse.
He'd messed up-
Again.

Coughing in the thick of the noxious fog, Paris cried out at being hit, curling inwards until he felt the blows lessen, space out. Opportunity and chance. He took it, pushing up and off the ground to dart off and grab the open jaw skull. Coughing louder, he slammed the jaw shut and started running- his eyes and lungs burned along with his body.

He'd made a mistake.
It's all he ever did after all.
