Paris was going to be a good knight he told himself. Get in, get out, and do his job. It just so happened that his job was fighting objective evil. Heck, and he wasn't even sure if chaos was evil or just some lie. But when it came to being a good knight, he was bound to at least go out, and not let someone he didn't know fall victim to whatever it was that chaos had in store. Usually it was chasing off small youma. Sometimes, it was tracking down chaos agents and trying to fight them to get them to leave the area. This was once such night. However, when he jumped down, ready to get into his stuttering line of threat, his voice died in his throat when he saw it wasn't a negaverse agent, but a senshi. One his own age it looked like. "Um." She was still chaos though. "Oh right! So um- you- you shouldn't be here!" He pointed at her. "This isn't a place for Chaos like you."

Hydra didn't like patrolling alone, if only because she took comfort in the makeshift team that'd been brought together by the general who'd brought her into the Negaverse. And she liked having someone there to watch her back, help her out if she got into a pinch. For the most part, she felt somewhat comfortable in her ability to defend herself.
She'd run off two or three senshi by herself and she felt like that was an accomplishment considering how small and young she was.
And the fact that her inexperience showed from time to time...
She still didn't understand the aura thing very well and that's what allowed Paris to get so close to her. She shrieked in response, twisting on heels she'd yet to manage and nearly fell over as they wobbled beneath her.
"Shut up! You don't belong her!" She shot back, cheeks red from her stumble as she pointed a gloved finger at him accusingly.

Paris felt bad. He hadn't meant to scare her and have her falling over. "Oh my gosh I'm sor-" Wait no. She was chaos and negaverse because she had that whole... hole in her chest! Yeah! He shouldn't feel sorry, (he did anyway), and he certainly didn't have to apologize, (he felt like he needed to). "I- I'm not the one running around killing people!" He defended himself. "ANd I'm a knight! We're MADE for this!" A finger pointed at her. "Senshi are the ones from space you know. But the corrupt ones just hurt and um-" He shook. "D-d-d-d-don't make me fight you!"

Hydra's annoyance appeared to soften when he stumbled and stuttered over his words and she bit her lip as she looked at him. He seemed out of his element, a lot like she felt most days.
"Shut up! I don't kill people. What are you, stupid?" She shook her head, long turquoise hair fluttering behind her. "Knight? Like middle ages knight? For the love of - get a clue due. That's ancient history." If she knew much about the past and the silver millennium then she would have realized she made a double pun.
"You're making a lot of assumptions," she huffed, stomping forward so she could get in his space. "You're the one assaulting me. I haven't done anything! Take your opinion and shove it - "

Paris's face scrunched up at the insult. He was hardly dumb, he knew exactly what he said and meant and augh. He'd not even attacked her. Not yet anyway. So from a legal standpoint, assault wasn't the right word, harass yes but not assault. She was the stupid one obviously. "You DO!" countered. "Stealing energy kills. I've seen it!" Well, not entirely. Heard mostly. He just saw the after effects. "Negas are knights- were anyway. Just like a senshi is a senshi. History doesn't change what they are." He lifted the skull in hand, fingers pressing into the jaw. "And it's not assault until I make physical contact with you." He hissed at her, getting angry at just how wrong the corrupt senshi was. "Li-like, like this!" The jaw opened and a smoke began to billow out, Paris immediately trying to hold his breath and cover his mouth with his free sleeve. His eyes might burn, but he figured this senshi needed to take him seriously. Nuxaz Open jaw on skull releases noxious gas, effects for a while, smells like death and hurts/irritates

"God you're really dense." She muttered to herself more than to him. "Energy draining doesn't kill unless you're an idiot." She sounded so matter-of-fact as she talked. "Who are you even getting information from because they sound clueless."
Not that she really had much better info herself.
"You're spouting nonsense. Save yourself some embarrassment and get lost already!" Hydra would've been content if this night just ended with him stalking off and her going a different direction.
She hadn't even drained anyone!
"Fine, not assaulting but you're sure trying to bully me!" She shrieked back at him. The weird fumes from the skull hit her senses hard and fast. Everything smelled like rotting flesh and disease and her head spun.
Coughing, she stumbled back and tried to cover her face with her hands.

Paris was no less fortunate than Hydra, as the gas that came from the skull was just as bad for her as it was for him. The smell burned his sinuses and eyes, and he could feel vomit rise up his throat with how intense it was. It was the literal worst and he often wondered why he bothered trying. It would just end up like this- painful and pointless. "'M NOT A BULLY!" He did hear that insult though, which just made Paris feel like he'd failed somehow. He really had. The girl hadn't been doing wrong per say and well- well. He had just attacked. With gas. That hurt. He'd become the bully. Eyes watering, Paris closed the jaws of the skull, coughing and wheezing while his eyes tried to clear from the irritation. "I hate magic. Why do we even have it..."

Her eyes stung, watering from the noxious gas even as she stumbled away from him. She caught her hair under her heel and tripped, collapsing on the ground in a heap with a cry. Long turquoise strands fanned around her, falling across her small body while she lay there for a moment daze.
"For the love of - " she cursed, throwing her hair out of her face and splaying her hands behind her. "You just attacked me! How does that not make you a bully?!" She sounded horribly distraught. Even more so as she had to shove her hair out of her way so that she could stand.
"You know what, you should just go. Get lost!" She shook her head, huffing with her hand curled into fists. "Because if you don't like magic you're not going to like mine and my tolerance is at it's breaking point."

Paris coughed more, hand lifted in surrender. He didn't mean to but he had. He was the worst. "I'm just doing what I'm told to- It's not like I want to do this!" The yell sent him into another coughing fit that burned his lungs. "I'm sorry okay. I just-" He was on his feet, edging away. When it looked like she'd back up her claim- he started to run away. He just wanted to be a good knight, do his job. So why then, was it so hard to be 'the good guy'?

Little Hydra was so fed up with everything. It'd been a long month of jerk after jerk coming up to her and spouting nonsense, telling her that she was wrong and evil and going to hell just for existing. She was about ready to put her fist through the wall, if she thought it was something that she wouldn't regret.
Her anger was beginning to simmer instead of boil when Paris seemed to take her threat serious and started to back away. It spiked however as his words hit her and she scowled in response.
"Well maybe whomever you're listening to is wrong!" She shouted after him, trying to keep herself calm enough not to stomp after him and slap him and his stupid skull.
"GO!" She screamed at him, turning on her heel as she crossed her arms over her torso so she wouldn't have to look at him anymore. If she did, she'd probably lose it and she just didn't have the energy for that right now.
