Stretching her limbs out as she walked, it was obvious that Brie was in a slightly better mood than yesterday. No, her injury wasn't gone, but she had regained more of her hearing, enough so that she could actually hear what people said, if she listened close enough.
With her, she had Alex, and the good doctor, Sho. Both of whom, in all their time together, she had begun to warm up to more.
Rounding the corner, she quickly back peddled when coming across an unwanted guest. "Undying." She mouthed to both boys, while looking to find something, anything to use against it. In the end, the only thing she found, was the stale beer she had in her bag. Without further thought, she chucked it at the creature.
It was enough to do some damage, but by then it had been alerted to their presence, and Brie paid the price. HP: 47 DMG: 2 Mob HP: 8/10

Sho was casually following after Brie. Yesterday before he had fallen asleep, he had taken his own efforts to relocate his own shoulder after its untimely dislocation. It was a pain staking process, with far more pain than a regular person might be able to handle, causing the good doctor to hiss in his own pain. He couldn't leave it as it was, knowing that the problem might never be solved without his own intervention. They had no hospitals, no x-rays, no system to treat the worst of the injuries any longer. And it had worked. Today, while not yet completely mobile, allowed Shouichi to move his arm. It was completely immobile as yesterday would have it.
He caught Brie's whispered warning, taking the time to look around his surroundings as well. Since there was nothing.. they would have to rely on their bodies again, wouldn't they?
He sauntered around the corner after Brie was attacked, but assured that she had landed a hit -- Sho decided to employ another kick towards it's side of the body before he was thrown away from the attack.
Alex was slowly following after Sho and Brie, seeing that unlike the other two, his cracked ribs were well...still cracked. He would be easy to wind and unable to take many hits if he wanted to survive.
Brie's whispered warning made him blink, taking out the net weapon he was given and looking at it.
"Got it!" He used the net to throw over on the creature and hold it in place. "Someone mind doing the final blow here?"

Rook might have been running from an entirely different undead that he encountered along the way. Fortunately he was almost positive that he had lost it over time, which involved a hell of a lot of running. However, just as he rounded the next corner, he decided now was a good time to check and decided to look behind him for any signs of the creature and that left him absolutely no time to avoid the other undead beast before he crashed right into it.

Between the three of them, they managed to deal a fair amount of damage to it, and it was nearly 'dead'. When Alex asked for one of them to finish it after having trapped it under the net, none received the chance, as someone else came crashing in and toppled over the monster.
Not sure how to react to what happened, Brie merely stood their, blinking in disbelief. Finally, when she regained her senses, she pointed at the boy in an accusing manner. "YOU!" She shouted. They had met him once before, when they had asked each other questions, and she had also heard him over the radio.
"Of course you'd be the one to run in and fall on a undying."

Sho was ready to jump in, but another person beat him to the punch..? A person, they could see.. Sho quickly recognized the person, from yesterday's interviews. And he was also on the radio, wasn't he?
When Rook finally regained his balance and surroundings, Shouichi was there with Brie, and this time, Alex. He didn't need any words since his facial expression said it all, looking down with a condescending smile.
Of course you would be the idiot that crashes into a monster, wouldn't you?
"Good Job." Why didn't his face match his words, one would wonder why...

To say he was stunned from his most recent encounter was an understatement. Fortunately there was these good people here to snap him out of his stupor.
"Why are you saying it like an accusation?" He demanded, picking himself up off the ground and gripped--what the hell was this? A potato? "Its not my fault that there happened to be something right around the corner, I was kind of busy running for my life, thank yo--ugh!" It was only just then that he realized who he was talking to. "Why do I keep running into you lot?"

Both she and Sho met Rook when they were together. She didn't, however, know that Alex had met him. So everyone here was at least somewhat familiar with each other. Staying close to both Alex and Sho, her brow furrowed at the other boy's question. "We'll leave that to your imagination. If you have the brain to do it." No, she was still not fond of Rook. Less than so, actually.
At his other question, Brie merely snorted. "You didn't run into us. You ran into that." She answered, jabbing her thumb towards the undying left unmoving on the ground. "Remember?"

Haaaah? When Alex pulled him back into his protective arms, the doctor looked somewhat disgusted. Alex was acting like Rook might steal them away, which was highly unlikely considering the good doctor's ability to fend for himself. Besides, Rook looked absolutely harmless (for the most part).
Shoving Alex away, letting him realize that he was not a child or a female like Brie but an adequately grown man who wouldn't hesitate to increase Alex;s fractured ribs with the necessary provocation- he straightened himself out, and walked over crouch down to examine the monster's remains from a short distance away.
Besides, Sho vaguely liked Rook. If not for his good instincts, his impudence, and even his amusement factor. Looking back at the crew, he mentioned, "You were quite useful." And by useful, Sho actually meant a fraction of usefulness. Which was better than being negative in the end..
"Ow, Sho!" Alex whined, moving to stand behind Brie and wrap his arms around her shoulders. If Sho wanted to talk to 'that' one, then he was free to do so!
On the flip side, Alex rested his chin on the top of Brie's beanie covered hair and smile. "How you doing Rook, how come you are on our side of the hood?" You know, turf rules and all.
