The Junkyard distributes goods to all factions, ranging from food to weapons to stuff that is only useful if you tilt your head to the left and squint. And that might seem like all, at first, until you realize that they talk to everyone and everything, and have eyes and ears everywhere.
The Junkyard has information and resources.

All members of all factions are allowed in this ORP to ICly trade items at any time!
You can also RP to trade item with the Junkyard members. (Use the form below and RP it out!).
ALL forms submitted must be accompanied by RP!
Give time for some forms (such as info trading) to process!
This is the ONLY thread that allows item trade between characters.

First of all, IN THIS THREAD, icly RP out your character in one of these situations:
1) They have already found someone to trade, and are WAITING on them (TRADE). Both players post their rp posts using the trade (TRADE) form below. Confirm on site as necessary.
2) They are LOOKING for someone to trade with (LISTING) form. If a person quotes them, and they like the offer, quote them back rping out confirmation, and send trade. If you do not like the offer, quote them and rp a quick rejection.
3) They FIND someone who is looking to trade. (OFFER) form. If they like your trade, you do not need to rp again. Just confirm trade on minis site.
They need to quote that person. The other person they are trading with should quote back and write a quick rp saying they are trading and/or are willing (OR IN SOME CASES NOT WILLING) to make the offer.
[ Example: ]
gaia_star Steve and Bob have already agreed to trade oocly. Now they ICly rp it out. (TRADE)
gaia_star Steve is looking to trade with anyone. Steve posts looking for a trade and lists what item they have. Jim is interested. Jim quotes Steve with an offer and rps offering ICly. Steve is not interested. Listing is still up. (LISTING)

gaia_star Bob browses around and sees a few trade listings posted ICly he's interested in. He quotes them. (OFFER).
[ HOW TO USE TRADES ]:
[ Step 1 ]: Use the form below in this thread, rp it out accordingly. Post in OOC if you are making a LISTING (new trade), OFFER (quote a listing) or prearranged TRADE using the form. If you are making an OFFER please quote the person and use the trade form below.
[ Step 2 ]: Click on the minis site link offered in that person's TRADE form to start a trade. If for some reason they mislinked, you can find them HERE. Click on TRADE to start a trade with them.
[ Step 3 ]: Select what item you want to trade. If you are being offered an item, just click on HERE. If you don't like this trade, hit the RED X TO CANCEL. Once you have clicked on an item it will be offered!
[ Step 4 ]: Wait for that player to agree or cancel. Make sure the other person also rps their response. You will then need to confirm it again on site just to make sure this is the item you want!
[ Step 5 ]: DONE! You have confirmed the trade. You can check your confirmed trades to make sure it went through! ALL TRADES ARE LOGGED for RP purposes.

Occasionally in your ventures, you will stumble upon strange cards. These you must log in your journal: they will not be part of your limited minis inventory! Keep a hold upon these precious cards as redeeming in a set will grant you some nice IC buffs! Just a reminder that these cards you must log YOURSELF in the journal - they CANNOT be usable on minis site!
- You MAY obtain duplicates, which can be used in different sets of combos. When using one of a duplicate card, just remove that one, not both.
- Jokers are the special exception card. They are wild cards that can substitute ANY number. For example, if you have 1, 2, 4, 5, Joker, you can now use the joker as a 3.
- When turning in a set of these cards, make sure to use the junkyard poker form below. You will also need to briefly RP out redeeming these cards, just place them on the open poker table in the middle of the junkyard and a grubby hand will come and claim them and give you a small pill to take that is mostly harmless. Cards mut be turned in sets (see below)
- As long as you have filled in the form/ posted it below AND removed them from your journal, you may start applying the buff to your character. You can only have ONE buff active at a time! If you wish to apply a new one, the old one gets overridden so think carefully!
- Once again don't forget to log all JUNKYARD CARDS you get personally on the journal as they are NOT a site obtainable item! When you personally have enough of a set, turn them in here, and REMOVE them from your journal (the ones you turned in).
- These cards are non tradeable
ALL CARD SETS
[ Pair of cards ]: Any pair set of cards you obtain you can turn in. This will immediately heal you for 5 HP the moment you turn it in. Apply it to your character's stats and remove these cards from your journal.
[ Three of a set ]: Any three set of cards you obtain you can turn in. This will immediately heal you for 10 HP the moment you turn it in. Apply it to your character's stats and remove these cards from your journal.
[ Four of a set ]: Any four set of cards you obtain you can turn in. This will immediately heal you for 20 HP the moment you turn it in. Apply it to your character's stats and remove these cards from your journal.
[ Straight ]: Any set of consecutive cards you obtain you can turn in. Add +1 to all damage you do per battle. Apply it to your character's stats and remove these cards from your journal.
[ Full House ]: Any pair of two and set of threes you can turn in. Subtract 1 to all damage you take per post. Apply it to your character's stats and remove these cards from your journal.
[ Royal Straight ]: Must be 10 J Q K A. Add +2 to all damage you do per battle. Apply it to your character's stats and remove these cards from your journal.
[ Five of a Kind ]: Five of the SAME card. Your character can enter ANY zone despite clothing equip limitations. Apply it to your character's and remove these cards from your journal.
[ Two-Three-Three ]: Three pairs of two cards in consecutive order. Your character's HP is now 80/80. Apply it to your character's and remove these cards from your journal.
[ FULL SET OF THIRTEEN ] Are you a god? You collected all thirteen? With this you must be and NOW YOU WILL BE A GOD. Revive any dead character with your GODLY hands (OOC: Any character that has "DIED" in this event can now be revived by your touch. You can use this any time. You can only ever redeem this ONCE. Immediately destroy all cards you turned in).

You may bribe the junkyard jokers for information that may help you prepare in the future with on-site (minis site) items. The best quality items to bribe are tagged as "Junkyard". You can also try bribing without items, but the information may be very, very, false. Pay to win folks, pay to win.
A small booth has been set up with a hooded sort of fellow. He seems like the silent type, though he does have a nickname as the Information Joker, get it, like broker, but with a J. Knowledge is advantage after all!
Make sure to use the correct form below if you wish to bribe for information. You may use any item you own (that is on the minis site) but that item MUST be traded to the "Junkyard" account. In addition, use the form to RP.
When the trade has been accepted, the information will be privately pmed to you. Treat it ICly fo your character. Your character may DECIDE whether to keep the information to themselves or share it with others/their group.

These Junkyard people sure had a racket going, Bing noted, eyeing up several interesting objects in the nearby junkpiles that he didn't dare try to take. He needed these people, if not on his good side, then to at least not think him a thief.
And there it was ahead. An Information booth, like this was some kind of freaking carnival, and behind it, a rag-wrapped individual known as the Information Joker.
He bellied up to the booth, fished the cash he'd managed to scavenge out of his pockets, and laid the bundle on top of the counter.
"Heard you can make parting with this worth my while." he stated simply, pushing the bundle toward the broker. With the scarf obscuring the Joker's features, it was hard to gauge his expression. Bing didn't know if this guy wanted flattery, or, since he'd bothered setting up a booth, he viewed these bribes as a simple business transaction. Either way, information, any information was so precious a commodity, Bing considered the cash a necessary investment. However, a small voice in the back of his head kept listing what that money could have bought him had the world not gone to s**t. Bing told it to can it, and waited for the Joker's response.

Adelaide had to hand it to them: they sure knew how to really take a theme and run with it. Almost cuter than those Umbrella folks. But they were a wild card--probably pun intended--and she never did like the junkyard even if it had a plethora of resources. Something about scrapheaps and breathing tetanus.
"Let's hope they both make it worth our while, sweet thing," the older woman added with a wink to Bing as she slapped her wires on the counter. Noting the amount of cash, she gave a low whistle. "Damn shame."

Oh, this lady. Bing gave her an appraising glance. He'd seen her around the Prison, but hadn't talked to her before. He normally didn't go for the older women, but he did like her attitude. Sweet thing indeed...
"Ain't it though." he agreed. "Good bottle of wine right there, or the biggest damn bowl of poutine ever made."
Since she was talking his offer up, he decided to return the favor. He squinted at her pile of wires.
"Good bit of metal there. What's that, mostly copper? Stuff sells well if you aren't using it for electricity. Nice find. Shame to see it go."

"This? Eh." Adelaide gave a one armed shrug, feigning modesty judging by the grin. "Don't know, maybe? Better be for all the trouble I had scavenging it. We got running power anyway, who needs an extra bit like this? I doubt you could force it into the system." Not that she had any background as an electrician--it was more that seeing as they were clearly living the nights of the living dead, nothing could be so easy.

Yvonne was very familiar with the junkyard as a place. Part of being a sanitation worker was being friendly with others that shared your profession. Before the start of what was basically the apocalypse she'd been to the junkyard several times a week.
Now, she hadn't been there in almost a month. It was a dangerous trip to make all the way from the apartments. Recently, however, she'd heard rumors that the junkyard was where you went when you wanted information. What kind of information was unclear, but when it was the dammed zombie invasion knowing anything new was helpful...
So she cannibalized an old TV set for wires and set out (the set itself being much too heavy, not to mention pointless, to haul out there). He found the "Joker's" ragtag boot easily enough and approached cautiously, laying her offering on the counter.
"I was told you had information to trade." She said shortly, nudging the wire across the counter. "I'd like to know anything you can tell me."

Clutching the wires, the young man strode across the junkyard, keeping a quick pace. Best not to be away from the yard for too long, in case something went down with the Undying. Never really knew what would happen in this place.
He'd gotten lucky enough to find some old, partially corroding wires. Lengths not quite large enough to be used on the fence, but enough to salvage for... well, for someone. These Joker people, apparently.
Daryn made his way to the 'information booth', he sat the wires on the counter. "I believe this is something you're looking for. If I can get any sort of information for it..."

Rufus had gotten a hot tip that someone was willing to trade him a potato for the water he'd been holding out. Hook, line, and sinker, he led them over to the Junkyard with a sweet smile and a look that meant nothing but good intentions.
"You're saving a life, here! A very attractive life." He winked.
Monica had not really needed the extra prodding. She was feeling thirst bubble up in her throat - when had it gotten so dry? They were in Canada, and near the coast, too, not...not a desert or anything. Anyway, the guy was looking pitiful enough already that she fished her potato out of her backpack. It was a mutually beneficial trade, right? So she followed him over with a bounce in her steps, smiling as they went.
She giggled at his antics, though. "It's just a potato, man! I...haven't even cooked it." That was probably a good thing. The prisons had electricity, at least, so this guy could handle that part himself. She hoped. Monica was not a great cook, as fond as she was of the simple joy of eating. "Here you go!"
