It hurt to breathe. It hurt to move. Broken ribs were nothing to joke about and yet, they still demanded that he did work for them? Wow. He could only smile grimly as he felt his insides were practically held together by loose bandages. But he had a weapon and he had a mission.
Brie and Sho joined him on their hunt and he grimaced again when he saw what they were facing.

Brie followed Alex and Sho, almost in a daze. The constant ringing sound in her ear was nearly driving her mad, as was the constant ache she had that throbbed through her entire head.
She could just barely make out what people said if they spoke up loud enough, but that didn't help much for when they came across undying. Unable to hear its approach, and unaware of its presence entirely, she loosed a shriek when hit her from behind.

"Looks pleasant, doesn't it?" Sho still managed a grin despite their grim circumstances. All of them had been injured to an extent.
When it rose up to hit Brie again from behind when she had already been attacked, Sho jumped in front of her to take the damage. He flinched as it lashed out at his already affected arm, sending him back a few feet from the force of the throw.
Brie took a hit, and Alex gritted his teeth. The infected was scary, and if they weren't careful, they'd be infected as well! The net hit the arm of the creature and Alex was at least pleased by that.
He grimaced at Sho though and made a face.
"Can't you like dissect...it or something?"

Thankful for Sho's help, Brie stayed close to the two, now really wishing she had a weapon with her. When they were in a large group, that was one thing. Just the three of them alone was unnerving.
Luckily, Alex managed to do some damage to the creature, but she was unable to do much against it herself, as she sustained yet another blow from the creature when making a failed attempt to hit it.
Things were looking a bit grim for them.

"Haha, that sounds hella fun." His fingers made a 'come here' motion to beckon it over in his excitement, and took care to push up his glasses. An opaque shine, and then it cleared quickly to reveal his gleaming eyes taking on a look that didn't bode well.. "Y'think October would let me in if I brought an undead on a leash with me?"
Of course though, they had to defeat it first and beat it into submission. Since he was unable to use his arm, punching it was out of the question. But kicking it was not as it headed towards him after hitting Brie. He treated it to a drop kick, and effectively sent it flying a short distance.
"No." Alex wheezed. "I wouldn't even let you in!" Brie didn't need nightmares of Sho and a undead on a leash. That was just too much.
And if they weren't living Walking Dead, Alex might've thought Sho could've pulled it off.
Alex smacked the undead again, aiming for some sort of arm part and hitting successfully.
The eerie thing was that they didn't react to pain.....

If Brie could have heard Sho's grand idea of wanting to take this thing back with them, he probably would have received a look of horror. Luckily, she remained blissfully oblvious to the thought.
Relieved to see that they were slowly whittling away at it, it soon faded when it started advancing towards her again. Loosing another squeak in terror, she smacked the creature back in haste to get away from it.

Alex might have thought it was creepy. But Sho reveled in the questions that it raised; the type of anatomy and physiology they would have. Did they have anything resembling a heart, nervous system, or a mind beyond hunger? Clearly from the way they all moved after the grenade towards that wail, made Sho realize they may have obeyed something higher. But to successfully get his hands on one to slice it open- the doctor couldn't get enough. Even as he took his own damage, he still successfully hit the monster.
This creation of monstrosity couldn't have been created with the limits of human kind, Sho imagined. Then who created it? And Sho would have to meet this person one day.
Even if Brie couldn't hear him, she could see the excitement on his face. He was dying of excitement to get his hands on it.
No Sho. No you couldn't take it home. No you cannot dissect it...WHAT IF INFECTED YOU...!??!?
Alex wondered if Sho thought about these things. He hit the monster again, trying to draw its attack away from the man and woman he was with.

By the time the undead came back around to her, they had done so much damage to it that all it took was one last push from Brie to knock it back and 'kill' it. When she was sure it wasn't getting up again, the girl heaved a large sigh of relief, still unaware of the conversation that had been going back and forth between both Sho and Alex. Probably for the best..

There was visible disappointment on Sho's face when it disappeared with Brie's attack. Tch. He had it pegged for stronger than that.
