Durza had mentioned it was a good day to scavenge, so he'd gone to the front Office to do so. He blindly grabbed hold of a bag as he headed out. Naturally he didn't want his district to run out of supplies, as he lived there, and a coffee bean a morning wasn't the same as a meal. He made sure his umbrella was secured at his hip as he left.

As good a day as any, at least. Far as she was concerned, scavenging was a hazard and a hassle...but what must be done, must be done. Besides, it wasn't like she had anything else to do for half the day, so why not go and try her chances with the outside world full of the dead, undying, and who knows what else was out there now. With a huff and a small smile at whoever was closest to where all the bags were being kept, Mel grabbed a bag and headed out.
She spotted one other person headed out, and she jogged to catch up to him. "Mind if I join you?" she asked casually. It was Durza, if she remembered his name right. Cool guy with a mohawk. She didn't really do a whole lot of socializing but she was familiar with the residents of Clearview, even if it was only by face.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF MY CHARACTER Petit, 5'5" and 114lbs. She is rather fair skinned with relatively soft facial features (compared to her parents) and curiously blue-green eyes. Her hair is a light shade of caramel brown and is naturally wavy, an asset she's rather proud of. [ ref ]

Here comes Grant, his tacky printed shirt gleaming in the sun like some nightmarish dazzler from the wrestling days of old (frankly, he's surprised it still fits)! Hanging off the end of his umbrella is a bag that he grabbed at random before heading out.
With a big friendly wave, he approaches the others. "How's the pickin's out there?"

Though her umbrella count had been less than desirable by those young higher ups, her days adventure had not been for naught. And in fact, she felt a little more than able to go out on another run outside... even though she probably wasn't actually going to run or anything. But getting supplies didn't seem like it would be needing to. Or... well, hopefully.
Juliette grabbed a bag (maybe more) on her way out, of course with her own umbrella as per protocol. Already there seemed to be a group outside. "Oh, hello dears." She smiled.

There was quite a little group starting to gather. Micah grabbed one of the curb shopping bags from the office and joined them. It was unclear whether he was actually scowling, or just had resting bitchface; he didn't clear the matter up, remaining silent.

Durza led the group out to hunt through the other buildings in their faction's territory. "Alright guys, check everywhere there might be food. Look for batteries, we'll need a lot of them," he advised as he headed out of their 'base'.
Durza led the way to a building they hadn't ransacked yet. He picks up a small bottle of water as they enter in. It might come in use later, who knows?

It was a bigger group than she was used to, but safety in numbers dictated that was a good thing.
Mel followed Durza's lead, smiling at the others but not quite getting a chance to say much before he gave out vague instructions. It was a good thing, having someone lead; granted, food was obvious. Batteries, too. She ducked toward a side room and found a stack of untouched Aero Bars, ready for nabbing.
"I got food!" she called as she nabbed them and dropped them into her bag before jogging back to the group. "Lucky find, they were out in the open," she said with a huff. "I got a good feeling about this place!"

If Grant had to guess, this place used to be a convenience store of some sort, or maybe the former resident was a stoner because he just hit the jackpot: Beautiful, fluffy, and possibly slightly melted Aero bars. This, he decides, has made the trip worth it already for Aero bars are only kind of the best and the fact they were never available in the US was a goddamned travesty.
He quietly stashes the goodies in his bag and continues to forage, maybe he'll find something else tasty.

Some people, it seemed, liked to feel in charge. Micah shoved a wedged door out of the way and picked through the wreckage of what looked like someone's office. There wasn't much usable, and the room smelled bad. However, there was a half-shredded backpack in one corner, and in a pocket that was still zipped, Micah found a pack of batteries, with several still inside.
"Got some," he said as he moved back to join the group, dropping the batteries into his bag.

Spotting a tattered bag on the ground he bent down. Then went halfway under the table to shift through it. Tattered paper, nothing new...oh...oh hold up. He smirked.

He pulled out five Aero bars and stood. "And Zelda is going to praise us..." dropping those in the bag he stood. Then ducked back under to see if there was more. Finding nothing he blinked as he thought he saw, Malice. "Ma---OW CRAP!!!"
He had jolted and slipped, smacking his head on the table as he did so. Slinking back out he rubbed his skull before sitting off to the side. "Ya'll have fun, eh. I think I just hurt myself."
He still looked around for his prized friend...he knew that jet black sneaker anywhere.

Juliette was just tickled pink that Fluffles had decided to join them in their scavenging, and he was apparently so good at hunting too. As she passed by him in the little area they had been lead to, he got a small pat on his shoulders for his good work. (The others were doing a stellar job as well, of course).
"Oh, a small bottle of water," It wasn't much. Barely for one person perhaps but it was at least something. Perhaps she could give it to Duchess Dirtypaws.

Along with the Aero bars, Grant finds juice boxes -- a small trove of the damned things, even, like an unopened pack of them or something. It's a shame they probably aren't made with real juice or he'd try to ferment them into wine, but at least they can be shared with the complex.
