"I can't believe I let myself get careless back there," the ghoul grumbled as she started up the path. Falling into the miasma cloud earlier certainly hadn't helped her mood. After losing her last egg, the reaper had been feeling restless and irritated, very unlike her usual self. Was it something to do with the miasma, or was she just losing her patience due to circumstances?
Whatever the reason, she couldn't let it jeopardize her mission to obtain a new egg. The idea of having a companion really appealed to her, so she wanted to do her best to obtain one of those snake eggs. Feeling her determination renew, Kari pulled herself up over the last ledge, bringing her to the summit. Pausing for a moment to catch her breath, she looked out. It was the same scenery that she'd previewed the last time she came up here, but she had to stare in awe of how calming it was to just watch the fog below lazily drift around.
Now wasn't the time for sightseeing, however. She needed to obtain an egg! And just her luck, there happened to be a single egg left in the nest. Picking it up, she pulled off her scarf and wrapped it around the egg.
"Now I just need to get you down," she murmured softly to the egg.

It seems as if the villagers now want you to collect some more eggs. Those eggs are really delicious you know, and surprisingly enough, get you into the good graces of the villagers quite fast.
