Name: Nekoda "Kody" Ross Age: 17 Gender: Female Height: 5'3" Hair color: Aqua Blue Eye Color: Raspberry Pink Body Build: Lean but with muscle from years of farm work. Personality: Hard Working- Growing up on a farm is not all fun and games. Even with six siblings, they were all raised to appreciate what a good hard days work could bring both physically and mentally knowing your work would prolong your families existence as well as help feed their country. She is not afraid to get down and get her hands dirty. Stubborn- Being raised with so many siblings means you need to be bold, loud and be firm in your beliefs to even get anything across. Once she sets her heart to something good luck changing her mind, you might as well be talking to a brick wall. Kind- Through all her calloused fingers and hard headed ways, she actually is a kind soul. She loves to help, and enjoys feeling like she did something good that day. Optimistic- Grass is greener on the other side, glass is half full, Etc! She tries to be happy for herself and for others, the world needs a little more sunshine. This doesn't mean she wont ever look at things in a dark matter, more than she defaults to the 'super happy sunshine' most of the time. In your Face- Approachable, or she will approach you. She is in no way shy, so if she wants to talk with you about something she will. Sometimes she can come off as brash.
History: Kody grew up in a farming community, between Trost and Shiganshina. They were still a good days distance away (by horseback) but those two cities were the closest ones to their location. The farm itself was quite a large size, and was tended to by Kody, her six siblings, their father, and a few farm aids who lived with them off and on working the fields for their room and board. These days her mother was confined to the house, cleaning and cooking for their huge family.
Kody was the third born, having elder siblings to look up to and younger siblings to be bunching bags and teach the ropes. She only has one other sister, and she is the youngest at the age of 12.
The farm itself they tended was mostly for crops they sold to the cities folks. Sometimes they had someone request crops they would bring to them when ready, but usually during the summer months they had a stand to sell their wares in the shopping district. Down the road was a farm who mostly raised cattle, and a little further was one for other animals such as pork and chicken. They ended up working together, which was why they called it a community. Her family helped raise crops for their animals, and in return they received fertile soil for their plants in bucket loads. Even during the winter, when it was the hardest for them, the ranches down the road would accept their help and pay them in return. It was a system that worked well for them.
Kody's father had a passion for horses, something that he passed on to his children. When Kody wasn't helping in the fields she was usually with the horses. They bred a few horses every year, not too many to over work their beloved animals. One of the tasks was training them to be ridden and sold, or to help in the fields. She heard rumors that some of their horses even ended up in the military, but she was unsure.
Kody so far is the only one to enlist into the military, and part of her still feels bad for her selfish reasons for doing so. She wanted to get out of her farm life. While she loves her family, she has a bit of a spirit to wander and was not content staying on her farm for the remainder of her days.

People Alive: Sherry Ross - Mother, strict woman. Runs her household like a well oiled machine but i love her to bits... i guess she has to though, being a family of eight is not easy. Richard Ross - Father. Dad is very hard working and a bit quiet, lets mom talk a lot for him. The only time he really shows softness that i have seen is when he is around the horses. He enjoys talking to them while brushing their coats. Richard "Richy" Ross Jr - Eldest brother whom will one day inherit the farm. Takes things way too seriously and honestly can be a bit of a jerk. (Older Twin to Leo) Leo RossSecond older brother, very laid back. Its like Richard ( who was born a whole two minutes before Leo) took all the leadership and hard working qualities while Leo took the lazy ones. Leo is the one who usually takes the cart to market as a result. Eric Ross First younger sibling. He tries hard but is a bit clumsy, and tends to be grumpy because of it. He doesnt like others helping him. Charles "Charlie" Ross My last brother, and the youngest of them. He is very loud and obnoxious, i can only dread what he will be like as an Adult. Nina Ross- Youngest sibling and my only sister. She is still young and naive, and enjoys to help mother around the house. She is almost the exact opposite of me in that aspect. I much rather being outside getting my hands dirty to laid back clothing making. Elliot Lindstrom Ells is a childhood friend! He is a bit lazy, okay a LOT lazy, and a bit grumpy at times. But thats fine, i pester him enough that i hope one day he will actually try to work without my goading him. Sebastian Schneider Met through Ells, they are very similar in personality in terms of work ethics. Its okay eventually i will rub off on them both. Shun Kuroda He is about as stubborn as i am (almost), and a bit grouchy at times, but i don't mind him.

New beginnings, bitter feelings Stunned silence is what met her words, six sets of judgmental eyes staring down at the simple piece of paper she offered them with a slew of mixture emotions. She watched them closely, seeing as their first reactions will likely judge how they took this she. Unfortunately, two that mattered most ... looked the most angry.
Not not angry, ashamed.
"Nekoda how could you-" "Your shaming everyone in this family-" "What are you going to do with your life-" "What about that nice boy down the road, he seemed interested-"
The questions continued on and on. All she remained was quiet, knowing this was how they would take it.
Her family ran a decent sized farm, starting small and growing as the years pressed on and more hands were able to care for it. She knew her family wanted her to stay in this life, as they figured she would being how GOOD she was at it. They had been making hints for years that the cattle rancher family down the road, their son, seemed interested in Kody and continuing on their line of work.
She felt like her parents had planned her whole life in front of her.
"Mom, Dad." Kody's voice was in no way a whisper, but in her household you had to raise your voice to its limits to get a word in edgewise. "MOM. DAD." She literally screamed, face turning red with the effort as she attempted to grab their attention. She was greeted with stunned looks, but they all went silent with her exclamation.
"You have more than enough help for the farm." Her Magenta eyes passed over her brothers pointedly. "Richy loves the farm, and as the eldest it is his to claim if he wants it. I have never been interested in Gus. He smells weird and is bad with the cattle." She wouldn't be surprised if the family business down the road went to their younger son, Phil. He was good with animals.
Still they watched, her fathers eyes not narrowed as much while her mothers were practically slits. "Now see her young la-"
"MOM i dont want to live like this!" She was trying to be good, trying to be polite. Kody was not one to censor how she felt, so words started to come out like a flood gate opening. "I love you guys, and i love farm life." She started with, her family relaxing as if she was about to say this was some elaborate prank. "....But i cant stay here. The thought of staying in one place, never seeing what he beyond the farms and trails and our farm stand for my entire life makes me ill. I want to see what is out there, and the only way i saw myself able to was to join the military. I think i would be good at it." She obviously had the stamina and muscle tone for it, she was lean. She even passed the blood-letting test with flying colors.
"Its done already anyways. I am of age to join, and i have already signed the paperwork."
She hoped to leave that last part off, for the very reason that just occurred. The look in her families eyes would haunt her, the look of hopelessness. "..Ill be fine, ma." She called out as her mother reached out and grabbed her into a forceful hug. Probably to hide the look on her face, her mom always was an open book.
"...You're not welcome here." The words whispered in her ear caused her world to shatter.
"Now- Sherry." Her father said, as her mother pushed Kody away forcefully.
"No, she chose her path. Go, grab your things... and get out."
