As a resident early bird, she of course took time to wander outside of the dorms.

It was strange, this dorm thing. Probably less strange for her than most, mostly because she was used to sleeping in a shared room with her siblings. They had a decent farm house sure, but you try have six siblings two parents and a few live in farm hands crammed into one living space. There was bound to be some crossovers, you got used to sharing space. The only part that made this truly odd for her was that these people were not related to her, at all.

So the first night she found it hard to sleep, and probably would for a few nights afterwords.

She was awake and ready to go, pulling on her new uniform jacket as she stepped outside. She was not ten feet away when someone as suddenly yelling at her. Eyes wide, she listened to them talk about duties and grabbing someone else to bring with her. Nodding a little too quickly she ran back into her dorm, nearly stumbling along the way, wondering who to grab. Was anyone else awake even? The only person she knew was Shun, so he was a obvious pick for this. "Shun? You awake?" Her voice sounded a bit nervous, but from fear or excitement? "Someone just screamed at me about Equipment Management duties and told me to grab someone else to bring along." It went unsaid that she really only knew him, so she hoped he would catch on.

She waited outside while he was getting ready, rocking on her heels and humming to herself. Kody was just glad the man was awake and okay with going to the task with her.

Finally when he emerged, she met him with a smile that might seem usual to him. "Great! Uhm...." Oh, crap. Where was it? "Uhm. Hold that thought." She went ahead of him when she realized she had no idea where the heck to go! That was rather stupid of her, really.

Making her way outside she asked a more seasoned trainee to point the way, and thankfully they seemed knowledgeable and understanding her need for help. "Okay, its this way!" She said finally knowing at least a general direction, and a building color to look for. Looking back at shun, she made to grab his arm and lead the way. Nothing personal, it was just what she did before she even realized what she was doing.

She lifted her hands up, palms out, as if saying 'whoops sorry'. "Woah. no harm meant." She paused, looking curious at the expression he was making. ".... No need to shoot daggers out of your eyes at me either, okay? Im sorry i didnt mean to offend you." Kody honestly meant no harm by it, she was just a very touchy person and did grab people sometimes before she realized it. For better or for worse.

She didn't remove herself from her close proximity though, not until she started to walk forward and lead the way. Flicking her eyes over her shoulder, she made sure Shun was still there while she continued. "Hopefully we wont need to ask directions again." She was a bit embarrassed she forgot to ask in the first place even.

Though she did follow it, and see the building described to her. "I think thats it."
