Because Florence Court is a safe space for all senshi and knights, there are a few rules to follow to make sure
everyone stays safe and happy. While you will not be kicked out for a first or second offense, you will be subjected to Finn Derouen's Good Cop routine, and also Nick Wellington's Tell Me About It Cop routine.
If you are being followed by Chaos, do not bring them back to the house. While this is undeniably a scary situation and you're right to feel scared, this would be better handled by calling Babylon at 757-521-5236, or hitting the distress button on your senshi phone, or doing an all-call on your knight signet. Only in extenuating circumstances should you lead Chaos towards Florence Court.
Do not transform in the house. While it is tempting to henshin up in a known safe space, it puts people at risk; the forces of Chaos might be stupid, but they don't hold the Idiot Ball 100% of the time, and acting like they do puts the safety of everyone at Florence Court in danger. Ask Nick, Tallulah, or Finn about recommended safe henshining spots.
Do not tell Chaos where you live. If they express interest in purifying, but don't know where they'd live or that they'd be taken care of, you can discuss Florence Court in general terms. Do not give them the address, or show them the place.
Do not microwave tin foil. That's just irresponsible.
Pets are allowed. You're responsible for cleaning up after your pets in all situations, though.
Clean up after yourself in communal areas. You're a grown adult, come on.

'Sweat equity' is the main way senshi or knights in need can pay rent. What this entails is, you perform a certain number of hours of work for FloCo and that's your rent for the month. You can definitely pay rent in the more traditional cash method, but this is preferred.
Examples of 'sweat equity' work are: patrolling with new senshi, doing work on Florence Court property, cooking for other residents who might suck at it, and watching the door. Different jobs will be found for different senshi. For instance, Nick Wellington's 'sweat equity' is generally handling day-to-day landlord things with Finn Derouen, but he also helps paint walls, spackle holes, and install toilets. So, once your character's all set up, you can chat out what your character's rent would be!
Sweat equity is meant to give your character plot hooks. A resident assigned to work on Florence Court property could meet people at the Home Depot, or do threads with others with that assignment where they deal with installing cable jacks or something equally silly. You definitely don't have to pay an ~rp tax for having your character live at Florence Court. That'd be stupid.

Florence Court has built-in services available to the newly-purified or awakened. This is a good way for characters who don't necessarily want to live at Florence Court to get involved!
