THE 12 DAYS OF JOY It seems Halloween and Xmas are in a truce this year! To better understand how things work, Xmas and Halloween are doing a staff exchange, that is to say some of the Amityville staff have gone off to teach in the land of Joy, while Xmas staff have come over to Halloween to teach them the traditions and tidings of Xmas!
For the entire month of December, this means that all classes will be Joy themed and filled with JOY! While we can't guarantee that this means you won't get homework or detention, you'll at least get to enjoy the fresh JOY-filled snow that the professors from the land of Joy have brought with them!
DISCLAIMER: RP is continuing on normal all of December! The only difference is all our GMs have pooled together to create HOLIDAY THEMED CLASS ORPS for your students and characters to join in! There is an incentive that our artists are giving away free alt arts for joining the classes! This quasi-event is primarily revolving around GM CLASSES.

12 DAYS OF JOY RULES AND GUIDELINES
gaia_crown [ STEP 1 ] GETTING STARTED WITH HOLIDAY CLASSES. Make sure you have a student/ horsemen/ if you lack either of those two a Hunter. If you do not have an existing character you can make a quest character! Quest characters are characters that exist in Halloween that aren't students yet! Make sure you read the newbie guide before getting started! IF you have a quest thread up that's great that works fine!
gaia_crown [ STEP 2 ] SELECTING A CHARACTER TO JOIN A CLASS. You can select multiple characters if you'd like but only one can be used to claim the prizes (see below). Prizes this year will be handed out in Joy Stamps, which you can use to turn in special tickets for art and customs! The character you select does not need to be the one you get the alt art for, it's just the one you are CLAIMING PRIZES with.
- You are free to RP all the classes with one character or multiple classes with multiple characters.
- You MAY RP a Horsemen character
- You MAY RP a Hunter character as long as you already have a STUDENT or HORSEMEN character you are rping in another class! Maximum one Hunter character, must be in a golem

- Occasionally a GM will quote your character and hand you Joy stamps! You can use Joy stamps in anything listed below!
12 DAYS OF JOY PRIZE CLAIM! If a Xmas Professor rewards you in class with a Joy Stamp, you may turn it in for various prizes!
- All 12 days of joy rps are worth x2 rp points as long as you post over 600 words in that thread!
gaia_crown [ 12 Days of Joy Holiday Custom Raffle! ] We're trying something a little special this year! If you win a Joy Stamp for an existing character, you may enter in the 12 Days of Joy Holiday Raffle! You will get to pick a character, any character you own, and get them decked out on Holiday decorated outfits!. From a snow theme to candycanes to even being the spookiest and best holiday gear yet! you have full control on how you want your character to look decked out for the holidays. Best of all, this will count as official alt art. IF you'd rather prefer growth art instead, you can just post for growth, as long as it has a SMALL holiday twist, same with customs.

Whether he's trying to teach you something he REALLY NEEDS you to know, or he has decided that climbing a mountain is the most important thing he could be doing today, Van is focused and intent on getting things done. He's the type to get down on your level and stare into your eyes while he tells you things, as if that motivates instead of just creeping people out.

As an extension of that intensity, Van is also insanely competitive. That's all.

Van likes to help. He loves giving motivational speeches and slapping people on their backs in encouraging ways. He'll cheer you on when you're running a race (as long as it isn't against him), and send you a glitter-covered card once you've won. RAH. RAH. RAH. O_O

Bubbly and cheerful like most people from Christmas Town, Jubilee believes that food is the path to more Joy. She is constantly on what others might see as a sugar high, since she's always moving or talking or doing something - but that's just the way she is. She is also extremely prone to distractions, and finds it difficult to concentrate on a task for long periods of time without working on five other different things at the same time.
What do they do in Christmas Town?: Cook by day, baking instructor by night; she has a cafe in Christmas that sells everything from eggnog to baked goods to savory treats, but to spread the joy of food, she conducts baking classes for aspiring cooks in the evenings.
