•°o.O A Bit of History O.o°•

Arlii was born into a group of traveling nomads that consisted of about thirty individuals in all. Not very large compared to some of the other caravans but they met up with other nomads frequently along their route. Her mother, Arlin, was part of a caravan from the North that traveled around an established route from Hold to Hold. It was on one such stop that Arlin happened across a handsome brownrider. She'd been on the road with the caravan for a while and felt like indulging herself in a nice evening that had no real strings attached. And the brownrider was willing. So she had herself a nice happy night while her caravan was staying at the Hold to sell some of the goods they had for trading purposes. The next morning, she had a flower and a necklace from the rider left on a pillow. But he was nowhere to be found. And several weeks later, she discovered she was pregnant.

Raising children while constantly being on the road was nothing new to the caravan. They all pitched in to help raise the young ones and Arlii herself was no exception. By five turns of age, she already knew how to help prepare the runners that would be hitched up to the carts. She also knew how to hunt small game with a slingshot and a rock. Once a little older and showing promise to be a skilled hunter one day, she was given a small bow and arrow set to practice with. Something she took to right away. In addition to archery and hunting abilities being taught, Arlii also learned how to only value what was essential and not something absolutely needed. It was also with the caravan she picked up the ability to not let anything phase her. Theirs was an unpredictable lifestyle. Holding grudges was pointless. Whining about every scrape you got was a waste.

When she was seven, almost eight turns old, the caravan passed through Malvren Hold yet again as they had many times before. Whether it be by some stroke of fate or coincidental to its extreme, the same brownrider that she was spawned from was at the Hold. And he recognized her mother. But more importantly, he recognized Arlii as his own. She was almost the spitting image of him. As of date, she was the only offspring he had, and the thought of having a child Stand was a very heady feeling. R'lav offered a deal to Arlin, stating he would take Arlii to Malvren Weyr, provide her with lessons, and see if she had the potential to Stand. If not, then come age 14, he would seek out their caravan and return the girl to them. Of course he also added in a few promises in items (such as food) the caravan was in need of as part of the deal. In the end, Arlin wanted what she felt was best for her daughter and agreed.

Arlii, however, very quickly learned her father was arrogant and proud. And was obviously where she got her attitude from. The two of them butted heads frequently. She did not like the man or the aspirations he demanded of her. Very traditional, though not many of Malvren shared his beliefs, he had high hopes for his daughter one day becoming the next Queen rider. Something Arlii laughed in his face over. Needless to say, he was not happy with this. Nor was he happy when, come age 14, Arlii stood on the Sands...but did not Impress. Of course this was alright and understandable as there had been no Queen egg on the Sands. Another turn later, however, she once again stood (no Queen egg again, ha ha!) but this time, one feisty Crimson informed her - with as much grace as was possible from being so tired and sprawled on the Sands - that she was Hers and could she please hurry it up! And thus, Arlii Impressed Erinaeth.

For turns now she had put up with her father and his constant disgusted looks that she had not been good enough to meet his standards. And then she had not Impressed a dragon better suited for her. At least Crimsons could breed, he would now say, so that would just have to be acceptable. Whatever kind and playful man her mother had told her of was gone. Finally, Arlii couldn't take it anymore. She was done with R'lav. She was going to prove she was better than what her father said. Prove that Erinaeth was the best dragon for her. Prove that just because she wasn't a Goldrider she would never be anything. So she and Erinaeth had one very important conversation, that would seal their fate. Erinaeth would be a fighter, not a breeder!

Choice made, the Crimson pair worked hard to prove themselves. To show they were not what R'lav said they were. The man was so furious he swore Arlii was not his daughter and that he would not have any sort of connections or relationship with her. Which was just fine and dandy with her! She'd shown him! They had found their place and felt confident in their abilities.

And then... the Revolution struck. Her Weyr was overrun and many fled to Trine. But she remained. Their words... their promises were almost too good to pass up. And so the Crimsonrider couldn't say no. Arlii choose to stay at Malvren, throwing her lot in with the Revolutionists. It was just yet another way she could get back at her father. And she was reluctant to admit, but he had broken through her hard work in not holding a grudge. But she just couldn't forgive him! All that she had suffered from his patronizing and high standards... perhaps that was why she had fallen prey to Keller's false painting of an ideal Pern. Decision made, Arlii and Erinaeth now found themselves trapped. They were beginning to see what everyone else had seen from the start. Keller wove fancy lies and was a dangerous man. Word of the Golden egg that was stolen from Trine shocked Arlii. Opening her eyes even more.

But Malvren was her home. Regardless of R'lav being a sharding crawler under her boot! She couldn't leave. Some part of her - perhaps it was pride - refused to run with her tail between her legs. However she was only a single Crimsonrider. She couldn't do anything on her own! Erinaeth suggested they lie low. Stay there. Do what was asked of them within reason. Until they could find the right moment to break free.

Name: Arlii
Nickname: n/a
Age: 27 29
Sex: Female
Sexual Orientation: Bisexual (she does not caaare~)
Rank: N/A
Faction: Revolution (... for now)

Physical Description: About 5'6" in height, she has an athletic build with muscle, mostly in her arms because of her archery practice. Her face is angled, almost sharply so, with bright sky blue eyes sizing you up. Long and straight, pale coffee brown hair is typically worn up in a ponytail with messy pieces hanging about her face. There are a few smattering of scars along her right arm where arrows have sliced into her skin. Her clothing attire typically consists of form fitting pants and tops that allow for most bodily movement while not running the risk of her arrows getting stuck in her clothes. Sturdy and durable boots are always a must have.

Personality: Very spunky and as curious as a damn cat. She is always ready and willing to jump in and do her job while making a small sidetrack to check out some rumor or interesting thing. Arlii is generally a kind hearted soul (most of the time < <;; ) and will make a great friend or ally. She is willing to give anyone a chance to prove they are trustworthy or have what it takes to be a good friend. Just don't rub her the wrong way by trying to take advantage of her or screwing her over. She can have quite the little attitude. Call her a name jokingly, and she'll joke right back with a smart a** remark. Growl or call her something obscene? She'll sock you in the face. It's best to try and stay on her good side. Should you happen to fall on her bad side, watch out. She will be an adversary to watch out for. But if you are one of her friends or a loved one, then you have yourself one very loyal and protective gal to lean on. Just be prepared for her spunky nature, which almost always consists of bounding around full of gutsy playful energy, Arlii will nine times out of ten be the first to volunteer to go on some venture into new territory. But don't mistaken this for stupidity. She won't be a daredevil, however don't be surprised to find her ready and willing to attempt something mildly dangerous. Something that won't result in loss of limbs or fatalities. A few broken bones and scraped knees is alright!

She also has quite the cocky, cheeky smart arse attitude when you rub her the wrong way. This seems to be directly linked to her stubborn nature as well. Attitude and stubbornness seem to go hand in hand most of the time. Especially if it's over something she knows she is right about. Arlii will tear you apart with her smart arsery and make sure you know you were wrong. It is highly recommended not to get on her s**t list. Those friends she does have like to argue that there is no such list and everyone is already on something of the sort from day one. Something she will deny. This particular side of her only ever really comes out when you have gone out of your way to get on her bad side however. Which for some is not hard to do. A sure fire way of doing this is to insult her or attack a friend. On the flip side, anyone that she cares for or considers a friend usually sees the much kinder version of her attitude, or the 'real' Arlii, unless they really go out of their way to piss her off. And in that case, it actually hurts her more than truly angers her. She will counter this with her cheekiness if she can, but it won't be quite as heartfelt.

A strong willed and stubborn woman. She is not one to be cowed easily or intimidated by a harsh look. And no is not always the best answer to use against her. If she believes that what she is doing or says is the better option, she will do her best to fight you until you see things her way. Or just ignore you and continue to go about her business. This does not mean she won't reluctantly agree if you are correct. she is also more gracious about yielding to someone she considers a friend as Arlii has faith in what they say since she trusts them over someone she just met. This does not, however, mean she won't give someone new a chance. Just don't expect her to drop everything and trust your word. It's also probably not too much of a surprise to hear that this gal can be protective of her friends as well. Especially since she doesn't usually make many of them. This protective side stems over into comrades as well. She is not the type to 'leave a man behind'.

Other/Talents:
☣☣☣Archery~ Something she learned at a young age to help hunt for the caravan. She is quite skilled at this when on the ground, though she's working to master archery from dragonback. This still has room for improvement, but she's not half bad.
☣☣Sketching~ Nothing extravagant, but she is able to sketch terrain very well. Though she is mostly self taught (with help from those of the caravan that knew how the sketch), she has a lot of room to possibly become a skilled mapmaker one day. If she went that route.

What are you waiting for, Arliimine? Your Erinaeth is right here!
Let us go and hear what my siblings have to say!

Name: Erinaeth
Age: 12 14
Color: Crimson

Physical Description: A little larger than is common for a Crimson, Erinaeth's wings are a bit shorter in length while her tail seems to be longer than your average dragon. Not hugely so, but it's noticeable. However she's not quite as muscular as others of her color, having a much leaner build. This makes her more agile in the air and slinky on the ground. She moves with the grace of a feline and with a hint of sass in her step. It's very rare to see her eyes any color but bright blue or green. Which accents her deep blood-red color nicely - something she can be quite vain about at times. Scattered all along her back, legs, tail, and part of her wings are a spotted pattern much like you would find on a feline in a much deeper crimson.

Personality:
This is one Crimson that loves to have a good time. She will be the one attempting to stick her head in the door of the dinning hall if there is some sort of celebration going on within so she can 'participate'. Or be up front and center (as close to center anyways) at any festivities held at the Weyr. Erinaeth loves being present at any sort of party where there is music being played and laughter ringing all around. This Crimson very much enjoys the exciting atmosphere that always seems to accompany these sort of events. And the smells are always delicious! Not that food is the only thing she thinks about or anything. There are also all the people and other dragons to talk to! And she does so enjoy talking with other dragons. She has a very outgoing sort of personality that typically flares up brightest during such times as exciting events.

Not one of her biggest or most apparent traits, but Erinaeth does have a feisty side to her. Especially during Flights. She's got some spirit in her, though it tends to get buried under her lack of confidence. But not always. When she's in an exceptionally good mood (as is her rider) Erinaeth will grow sassy and playful. If she's upset or her temper is rising, a little spunk will be thrown into the mix, making her difficult to work with. When she Rises, Erinaeth will be sure to give the males chasing something to really chase. She'll tease, sass, and play with them. Though she never actually cares who catches her. Whoever is best for her will clearly be the winner, so why should she choose? However Erinaeth will take into account her rider's feelings. If her rider truly dislikes one of the males, Erinaeth will be sure to avoid that one.

Like her rider, Erinaeth wants to be the best Crimson dragon she can be. She is not power hungry nor does she want to be the best of the best. But she does want to be a good leader. Be a proud example of a Crimson. She works just as hard as her rider does to appear strong and reliable. She won't give up easily on a task that is difficult, like mastering a swift aerial maneuver that could come in handy one day. But neither is she so ambitious as to not ask for assistance when needed. Nor will she go so far as to manipulate another dragon and their rider to further her position as a good Crimson. If she is going to prove she is a good leader, she will earn it the hard way and know she deserves it. This ambitious side of Erinaeth also applies to her desire to also see the Weyr shine brightly and thrive.

If there is one thing that rivals her outgoing nature, it's Erinaeth's unfortunate disease of being a 'gossip whore'. She loves to gossip. Always enjoying knowing what's going on, who the latest green to Rise was, what rider's may be interested in Hers. Or maybe it's what wher snuck into the dinning hall this time and scared half the people within the building! Erinaeth doesn't care what the news is, she just loves to hear it. Though if it's exceptionally juicy information, she'll pass it along to Arlii to find in her memories again on another day. She will also give almost as much as she receives in gossip. However she will never say anything really personal about her rider. Or something she feels could be used against her. Of course, this does not include her rider's latest flirting or how she got the crap scared out of her and shrieked like a wherry! The downside to her love of gossip is that she can be annoying and a pest at times when she wants to know something. She may divulge in a little bit of persistence to try and get you to enlighten her with what you know. But Erinaeth won't take it so far as to truly piss off a fellow dragon to the point of snapping at her.

When it comes to waiting for something to happen, Erinaeth can be a little impatient. She is not a fan for sitting still or just laying out, basking in the sunlight. She's a very active creature and loves being out doing something. Whether that be flying, walking around from place to place with her rider, or trying to catch up on all the gossip. She'll pester Arlii to get moving so they can go about doing whatever tasks need to be done for the day. And when this Crimson knows there is some really juicy gossip available, she'll be bouncing around and hurry to find whoever holds the most information. Or typically has the best gossip (another thing she tells her rider, so she can remember who to go back to again). This trait has subsided slightly as she's gotten a little older, but not by much. Surprisingly, her impatience does not show up during Flights. Flights are one of the few moments in time she likes things to last longer and not end so quickly. More time to play with and tease the males!

Kind of a branch off trait derived from her impatience, Erinaeth can be reckless. If her impatience gets the better of her, she'll take risks and jump into things she shouldn't be so hasty to attempt. A prime example of this being jumping between. Erinaeth has been known for jumping between before she fully has the image of 'where' implanted in her mind. Something that Arlii reigns her in hard for. She's gotten much more careful about this now, but that doesn't keep her from trying other stuff. Like trying to maneuver herself like the agile greens when she's too large to successfully twist or turn like them. In addition, she will encourage her rider at times to step up and let them take on a task that is better suited for other dragons, such as scouting out new terrain on their own that would usually be the duty of the Wings. Or flying dangerously low to the ground for the exhilaration.

Size: Above Average - This dragon is a bit larger than average for its colour but not starkly so.
Build: Slim - This dragon is notably slimmer than an average dragon of its colour, but not so small that you could mistake it for another colour by size alone.
