She just scowled at several of the shadowy types that whispered in the halls as she eased out of their way. Not originally of her Weyr. So they were probably from there. And had those sorry excuses for-
Oooh you know you shouldn't think that, my love! What if someone hears it? Erinaeth's silky voice trilled.
Ah, shaddup! And don't you go yappin' your trap either!
Arlii wrapped her shawl around her shoulders more tightly, wanting to just make it outside without having any confrontations. Which seemed difficult these days. Everyone was on edge or awaiting word of what had occurred at Trine Weyr. And what that b*****d Keller had in mind now. The shaffing man just irritated her to no end! Worse, to her shame, she'd believed him at one point.
Do not blame yourself. We were weak minded. But not now. Or again. Oooh~ You should have heard... well okay not HEARD, but seen the images this little cousin was sharing with me last night!
Oh great. Her dragon was talking with wher's still. The Crimsonrider sighed heavily. And success! She was outside. And in the fresh air. "What've I told you, Eri?" She said aloud, a curl to her lips briefly appearing. Stretching her arms out, Arlii continued along a pathway that kept her mostly outside as she headed towards a space large enough for dragons to land and take off from. Erinaeth was, of course, already waiting.
To not trust the little cousins. But my love! They have such juicy tidbits to share with me! The Crimson snorted softly as her rider approached, lowering her head to nudge Arlii affectionately. Where do we go today? I am kind of hungry.
Arlii patted Eri's snout lovingly, giving her bonded a thoughtful look. It was a little cool out, but not too bad. "Then we should go soak up some sunshine from the fields up top." She pointed towards the clifftop where the herds were kept. Erinaeth rumbled her approval, lowering herself and offering a leg to assist her rider. Once secure, she spread her wings with a pleasant bugle and leaped off the edge.
I think that is a grand idea! Erinaeth let the wind from the ocean catch her wings and carry her up, towards the clifftop. She passed above it, elating in the feeling of flying as her rider laughed before angling in to spiral lazily down.
Just don't gorge. Only two herdbeasts for now.
Fiiiine~ Landing, Erinaeth allowed Arlii to dismount before slinking off to startle the herdbeasts even more and find the best one. Arlii just moved off to sit comfortably in the sun and watch her dragon.

Alaiath was antsy to hunt at malvern for the first time since their transfer, a new place and a new taste of herdbeast. Come Mine, let’s go while the sun is high and the day warm! Yes, yes, just let me finish this line. So saying, Carwyn finished off the sonnet she’d been composing, she reviewed her work with a frown, something wasn't quite right-- Ah well, I’ll let my mind rest while you’re hunting and come back to it with fresh eyes. She went to the weyrledge took in the breathtaking view of the ocean, would such a wonder ever grow old? And clipped herself into the riding straps of an antsy Alaiath. Capella gave a chirp from the bed, she would continue with her nap until Alaiath had killed and then join in the spoils. Carwyn grinned at the little green and Alaiath sent Cappy a happy trill before leaping from their weyr to reach the grasslands above the cliff face.
Alaiath observed the herds and noticed a crimson already eyeing the beasts, Hello there-a fine day to hunt isn’t it? She circled down slowly, settling a small distance away to deposit Carwyn safely on the ground. Carwyn dismounted and looked at the crimson Alaiath was watching, she still wasn’t sure what to make of the atypicals. This crimson didn’t seem like an unhealthy burden on the wherhold, but then she’d heard most were sickly when they were weyrlings and required the most resources then. Carwyn just sighed and looked for a nice knoll to sit on, with any luck she could avoid the crimsons rider and any awkward conversation that may arise; she tended to avoid situations she wasn’t sure how to handle, but Alaiath on the other hand was happy to be friends with every- and anyone.

When the Crimson had spotted the one she wanted, Erinaeth struck - or pounced - claiming her prize as the rest of the herd squealed and went as far from her as possible. Of course the arrival of the other dragon didn't give them much hope. Erinaeth paused in her feeding, twisting her head to glance at the Green. It's a beautiful day to hunt! Have you come to join me? She grabbed her herdbeast and moved slightly out of the way so that the Green could make her own kill.
Arlii had watched the green pair fly in, quietly observing them and not doing anything that would draw attention to herself. These new folk of Malvren were hard to judge. Was this one a believer of that bastards words? Or someone that just wanted to maintain what little bit of their home they were able to?
Oh darling, be kind, won't you? Erinaeth chided her rider.
Rolling her eyes, Arlii stretched her arms out above her head before standing and seeking out the other rider. Might as well get introductions and first meetings out of the way. Before Eri decided to do it for her. It didn't take the Crimsonrider long to find the other rider, and she gave a slight wave in greeting. "How's it goin'? I hope your Green doesn't mind having Eri here too." Alethryia I am sooo so sorry it has taken me so long to get to this D:
