This is where you stand, on the side of Order, peace, protection and justice. Not everyone on our side may share the same goals and ideals, but above all most of us wish to free the Earth and its citizens from the evil presence of those who wish to harm it. We all have a shared enemy who seeks the destruction or enslavement of everything we hold dear.

But you are not alone.

You have awakened as a Sailor Senshi by one of our Guardians. You now have the power of magic at your disposal, which is drawn from the celestial body for which you are named. We all seem to know this by instinct. When you first start out, I encourage you to seek out others and learn from teaming up with them or tag along with them and learn in the safety of others. Find a friend in someone else - spar, chat, discover.

I know not all of you are interested in joining with others - for those loners, like I myself once was, I want to encourage you to be safe. While you now have powers, you are still vulnerable. Unnecessary risks simply aren't needed. Each and every one of us is still a player in a war and to lose even a single one of you to inexperience would be a tragedy.

As you learn, fight and explore the lengths of your abilities, you will be rewarded. There is always a light at the end of the tunnel. Always remember who you are and what you stand for. As a senshi there more than a few things you need to know- First among those is that a little research will tell you that ‘senshi’ is a word in Japanese (戦士) that means "soldier", "warrior", "guardian", or "fighter.” You are, by choice or not, one of the few people on Earth who has what is best understood as ‘magic’. You are also one of the guardians of the universe (stars, planets, asteroids and all) against forces powered by Chaos. The news in Destiny city has reported on this shadow war between unknown persons with speed, strength and abilities greater than that of any regular person. You are a part of it, and there is no going back. You can choose to never transform, to break your pen, but it is hoped that you will accept this new responsibility and help the others out there who are fighting for life, safety and the hope of peace.

Every person on the planet has a ‘starseed.’ If animals other than cats do is unknown to me. This is like a soul, for purposes of quick understanding. Some starseeds are connected to the power of worlds, and awakened these become Senshi. Others are connected to locations, and these become knights. It is through affecting your starseed that a Guardian Cat unlocked your powers. It is through your starseed that our enemies, Chaos, can corrupt you. Guard your starseed, seated in your chest, from others touch and influence.

Chaos collects starseeds, able to reach magically into the chest to draw them out of the body. If this is done violently then death is immediate. If it is done with more finesse and care, then the victim’s body lapses into coma and wastes to death. Chaos agents can also funnel their black power into another’s starseed. This is excruciatingly painful, and the possible endgame of which not wholly understood, but it may lead to your death and the creation of something other than human. -- Eternal Sailor Thraen

Guardian Cats are our advisors and trusted companions. They are insightful and trustworthy, having our best interests at heart. While some may be more helpful than others, Guardian Cats are able to awaken those whose starseeds are ready for power and strengthen those already in the war. You were awakened by one such cat.

They all possess a shining star upon their foreheads and can speak with us in our own language. They are usually a wealth of information and can answer questions myself, my sources or other senshi around you may not be able to. It is usually a blessing to have a Guardian Cat by your side. If you are ever alone, they can provide most excellent company. -- Eternal Sailor Kallichore

Guardian cats are actually the reincarnated starseed/souls of a race called Mauvians. Demonym informing then- there is a homeworld called Mau out in space somewhere like you bear the name of a world/asteroid/planetoid/constellation/etc in space. Mauvians cannot travel back to Mau, they haven’t pinpointed the signal/song of it correctly yet, despite the fact that they have cellphones and can modify ours. Mauvians awaken and affect starseeds in order to strengthen senshi in two ways- either through the modification of the magitech of your henshin pen, or directly through touching their star against the starseed place of your chest and focussing their power there to unlock it.

Some guardian cats stick to specific people or teams, while others roam and help any they find. You are not less of a senshi for not having a personal Mauvian, nor is anyone who does have one more important. They are a great deal less in number than the senshi, a condition the reason of which is currently unknown. Whether it was ever the case that every senshi, or every team had a Mauvian is unknown. There are countless stars and asteroids already- and if each had a senshi protecting it, one world full of trillions of cats would still be hard pressed to provide each and every one with a companion.

Some Mauvians can adopt a person-like, bipedal form with ears and tail that leaks energy aura like a beacon. What determines the ability to do this is unknown as the development process that determines when a senshi is ready to become a super senshi or an eternal. Whether this is their ‘true form’, that of being a cat is, or whether the idea of one or the other being ‘true’ being hogwash and they have always naturally had all of the above is unknown. Recently, one among them made use of a small meteorite to power a transformation into a humanoid-senshicat. More research to come, hopefully.

There are both Chaos-corrupted and Order aligned Mauvians. There is also one Mirror-world Guardian. They are as varied in personality as any ‘people’. Some retain qualities and enjoy activities associated with regular house cats, but do not assume that all of them are ‘just like cats.’ They are a sentient race, just like humans. -- Eternal Sailor Thraen

The Mirror-world Guardian is Zirconia, unique in her own right. She is a cat of long and lilac fur and has an unusual deep purple crescent moon on her forehead instead of a star. She has a connection to a universe parallel to our own. Her ability to return to that world is, sadly, severed, but she is incredibly intelligent and can provide insights to things which other cats native to our world cannot. She knows much of the history of the Dark Mirror Court (and the Parallel Court before it), which will be outlined in a later section. -- Eternal Sailor Kallichore

Each guardian cat is unique unto themselves, but most have an affinity for technology. Mau was a highly advanced civilization, if the technology of your pens and phones is any indication. It would stand to reason that the Mauvian mind far exceeds the capacity of the average human. In particular, I have a strong desire to create and build. If you should ever come across technology on your planets or the Moon, I would be very interested in seeing it. If you have ideas on something you might like built, please do not be afraid to contact me. I am here to serve my senshi!

All guardian cats have access to a subspace pocket where they may store small things, or pull them as they need them. They can manifest henshin pens and senshi cell phones, as well as other small items as they wish.

Nearly all guardians start as normal cats. Their method of awakening is unknown at the current time, but this awakening can happen at any time in their life, either instantaneously or more gradually. It is at awakening that the signature star shape appears on the forehead. Guardians who serve Order have light colored stars on their foreheads. Those who serve Chaos can be distinguished by their dark colored stars. Guardians are precious creatures... it would be worth the time spent to convince one of them to join our side through purification, freeing them from the darkness of Chaos.

All Order aligned guardians have access to a Head Quarters under Destiny Tower. It is a place of refuge for us, where we are shielded and safe from the outside world. Its rather small, however, and most prefer the freedom of living elsewhere. HQ is where the computers that hold the database of Senshi and Negaverse is housed. -- Guardian Ash

"Youma" is our word for the monsters appearing around the city. You may have seen them on the 6 O'Clock news. They do not appear to have much mind of their own and seem to be singularly focused on destruction. They come in a wide variety of forms but are vulnerable to attack. They sometimes attack civilians. You are encouraged to practice your fighting skills on youma, but only if you feel confident enough to be safe. While they may not have much going on upstairs, youma are still very much a threat.

Despite what the news may depict, senshi have nothing to do with Youma.

Some Negaverse Agents carry youma with them, either on their person or following close by. These Agents seem to have greater control of these youma, but how or why is unknown. Either way, taking on an Agent in addition to any youma nearby is tantamount to suicide. If you see a Negaverse Agent with a youma, I implore you to seek assistance in defeating them. Do not engage these individuals by yourself. -- Eternal Sailor Kallichore

Youma were once humans turned into monsters. The Negaverse is able to turn their own officers into youma, but we don’t know for certain how they can do this. Some youma are intelligent enough to hold conversations with you. Beat them down before they can. -- Eternal Sailor Tsui

These are unfortunate souls who have been corrupted by the evil of the Negaverse. They are dark versions of themselves with Chaos in their hearts.

It is not known how the process of corruption begins or ends or why it happens, but Corrupted Senshi pose as much of a danger, if not more, than any other Chaos agent. They bare odd energy signatures of many of them have holes in their heads and chests, exposing their starseeds. They wear black where we wear white and they are soldiers of the side of evil. They wield magic as we do and have ranks just as we do.

There is an oddity among the Corrupted, and she is known as Alkaid. Kurma, a strange man with the powers of the cosmos flowing through him, described her as “a lost soul”. When I encountered her, she looked like a shattered porcelain doll and her signature was chaotic and wild - completely unlike anything I had ever seen. I do not know exactly how she came to be in this state, but she bore the wings of a Corrupted Eternal. I have seen other Corrupted Eternal Senshi and they do not look or feel like Alkaid. She is incredibly dangerous - avoid her if at all possible. I do not know what she is capable of.

It seems as though the Negaverse is determined to bolster its ranks by any means necessary. Be wary of senshi who wear black. Some of them may have been someone you knew, but do not let yourself lose hope. There is always a light at the end of the tunnel, no matter how dark it is. -- Eternal Sailor Kallichore

The Dark Mirror Court is an unfortunate recent addition to the forces of Chaos led by someone I once called idol and friend.

The one called Ares leads her group of senshi she calls Dark Mirrors. These senshi also wear black but swear allegiance to Ares herself. Their energy is dark but unique, and they have the ability to flit through mirrors. They seem to have gained this trait from Ares.

Ares gave herself to darkness and corrupted those around her, remnants of the court she once led. They are baptized through a mirror and come out the other side as a strange version of their former selves. They also wield magic as we do. Their goal may very well be to corrupt every senshi they can find to bolster their ranks, but it's not entirely certain. Whether or not they are at odds with the Negaverse is unknown.

Be wary of Dark Mirror senshi. They may be someone you once knew who has no memory of you. I hope this never happens to anyone you know and love.

They call themselves the Guard, and their power levels are different than a regular senshi’s scout-super-eternal. The exacts of this are not known, or what it means of their powers. They are associated with a barrier location called the Surrounding, and some demarcation of that is an Outpost. The Outposts are ostensibly the individual locations belonging to the zodiacs, described as ‘a building on the edge of nowhere’ in one case. The Surrounding ‘surrounds’ the Sol solar system, as a giant rainbow path. Why, and what for is not known. Chronos, another senshi, doesn't rule a planet or a star, she rules the Zodiac guard on the Surrounding. She is their ruling princess, with the power of a Royal to be detailed in a later section.

In order to be able to travel to the Surrounding, it is necessary to get a the green disc charm from one of the Zodiacs that attaches to the senshi cellphone and effects its phone-home magic in some way. It requires the mental visualization of the rainbow road in space to work. -- Eternal Sailor Thraen

The following is an account from Eternal Sailor Athene of an eclipse that happened in October, 2013 which culminated in the appearance and defeat of an alien queen:

Last October the Mayor together with City Hall decided to put on a few eclipse-viewing parties to celebrate the lunar eclipse. I attended the one being held around Main Street, I can't say I was there doing anything special, but the city was pretty festive.

Things were pretty normal until the moment of actual eclipse but at that point these weird winged rabbit-like creatures suddenly appeared, one of them touched me on the forehead before disappearing but given how they were kind of here and then gone I thought that I was imagining things until one of my team mates messaged me to say that she had also seen the flying rabbit things.

A few days after the eclipse I was on the way to meet with my team mates for a joint patrol when I caught someone close to me being viciously attacked by her double. I moved to intervene but was in turn attacked by my own double, luckily my team mates were nearby and between us we were able to defeat both clones (I think that they were being referred to as Shades), but my double had the exact same abilities as me and was able to use at least my basic and super level magic against us.

Later on during that week a request for help was sent out on behalf of Princess Iris and I responded it. It turned out that she too had one of those Shades and again it could use her magic. However although the thing attacked us its primary focus appeared to be the Princess and on the few occasions where it was able to get to the Princess directly it ignored us until we intervened to get it away from her.

The source behind the Shades appeared to be their Queen, Queen Finsternis and she and the remaining Shades tried her level best to kill all of us. The battle was both a long one and a hard one, particular as the Shade Queen was extremely powerful and not only had her own magic but could also use a number of different senshi attacks against us, two of which I recognised as being that belong to those of my own team mates. Also in addition to using magic - both her own as well as stolen magic attacks, she was able to summon and use a variety of Nega-weapons of varying levels.

Queen Finsternis' goal appears to have been to take over but with the help of both the Negaverse and Dark Mirror we were able to thwart her goal and with her defeat the eclipse finally ended and no more Shades have been seen since.

It's hard to say if the flying rabbits are linked with the Shades especially as their appearance was so fleeting - at least in my case - however I must note that the Shade Queen Finsternis is probably the most powerful opponent that I have faced since becoming a senshi - even stronger than the clone of Princess Iris was - and if the Negaverse and Dark Mirror had decided against aiding us then I'm not sure that we would have managed to defeat her. -- Eternal Sailor Athene

Order Boot Camp: Run by Eternal Sailor Gunn

Order Boot Camp is a monthly event which, canonically, occurs on the third Saturday of every month. Every month, OBC covers a different topic, from general physical fitness to point-of-injury first aid to general urban combat principles. Sign-ups/flyers go out on the 25th of every month. OBC encourages teamwork, trust, and information sharing between members of Order. It should not, under any circumstances, be discussed with Chaos.

Florence Court is an Order-based housing initiative. It is a living situation where the characters within it can trust all their neighbors are of Order alignment. Apartments from studio to two-bedroom are available. Rent is paid in 'sweat equity' or, upon request, cash, and is often about half what one could expect to pay for the space. The basement is communal space, and can be used for any civilian-form meetings people would like to use it for. Like OBC, it should not be discussed with anyone of the Chaos persuasion.
