These rabbits are looking for a new lease on life and are in need of a new home <3
The previous owners have quit Gaia entirely (or in the case of one, were blacklisted) and rather than collect dust the shop has decided to rehome them.
We do not make a habit of taking pets away, and in fact there's no shop policy to. The only time this might occur is if someone has announced they are quitting Gaia entirely and remain gone for two years or more; or if they are blacklisted for very grave offenses.
Please do not worry about your rabbits being taken away. That is not something we ever want to do.
Though you may choose to give your rabbits back to the shop, in which case we can find them a new home if you like. And as always you're free to gift your rabbits away. heart
Please see the posts below for the various ways you can win a bun!

Oh, What's in a Name? (click on their images for their large uncert)
The name of the game is to rename! Can you come up with a good name for these three?
Give it a shot! You can try for all of them, but may only win one. Opens: NOW Closes: Nov. 9th, around noon CST
FORMS
For the Tawny Doe:
"Your name is a golden bell hung in my heart." Doe's Name: Meaning:
You're the youngest male of a very prestigious litter. Your parli? The Captain of Owsla. Your marli? Althea, the Flemish Giant and currently the only doe in the Owsla. (My very own bun <3)
That makes you one of the biggest (weighing in at a pound or two heavier than a husky, regular warren rabbit) and most-watched buns on the Down. Both your parents expected so much from you, and so far they've been disappointed by all of their kits. Think you might give them something to be proud of? Or are you going to continue your poor (and kinda mean) marli's dismay?
Opens: NOW Closes: Nov. 9th, around noon CST
Frith and Inle`! What am I going to do? Buck's name: Personality: What direction would you head this buck in?
We Are Family! (click on their images for their larger uncert)
Your job here is to tell me how you'd plan on your rabbit fitting into its family structure. Even if that plan is "not at all". Give me a name, personality, and what your plans are; you're the offspring of the Captain of Owsla, after all!
Opens: NOW Closes: Nov. 9th, around noon CST
The Mother An older marli, the doe had a litter with Cocklebur (the current Captain of Owsla). Tell me more about her and how she sees her children. Please note that she has others besides the ones here.
The Marli's Form
Oh, these children of mine! Marli's name: Personality: How she views her family: What now?
(Don't have an uncert for this guy)
One of the sons, now all grown up. What does Frith have in store for you, son of the Owsla?
The Rusati's Form (rusati is Lapine for "brother")
Sonuva Gun! Buck's name: Personality: How he views his family: What now?
(Don't have an uncert for this guy)
One of the sons, now all grown up. What does Frith have in store for you, son of the Owsla?
The Tarli's Form (tarli is Lapine for "buck" or male, so is 'parli', but parli tends to also mean "father")
At least one ear is standing at attention, sir! Buck's name: Personality: How he views his family: What now?
What's his name?: Comosum (Scientific name for spider plant)
And what happened to him? Comosum stared down the hill to the woods; woods he once knew, once traveled through, once lived in. He recalled the fear that consumed him every day, the thrill of escaping and the fear it was into another jet of jaws. He thought he was a part of those woods, free from everything. He was wrong, for the woods did not truly shelter him. Bad luck fell upon in in one morning, a dog came bounding into the woods with a blood chilling bay.
That dog tore into him but he tore right back. It wasn’t big, but no matter what his teeth did damage. Comosum fought hard and then with a bite to its noes the dog fled away. Wounded and bleeding he got up and moved to his stolen hollow. He slept fitfully, and woke with a bad dream in his minds eyes. Blearily he had wondered to find good grass; unbeknown to him he edged closer to the warren that had sprung up and was often the talk of the hlessi, when they happened to stumble across each other.
The buck got closer and closer, and found a dandelion. Surprised he started eating it; no often did thee grow in the woods. The warren rabbits had spotted him, knew where he was; and were watching. An Owsla slunk forward, and in reaching distant he leaped upon Comosum, aiming to send the male packing. Dreams of the dog still played in his mind and he turned toward to the Owsla and in no time had the buck running back to the warren with newly done ears. This woke him, and he looked around and saw the rabbits stared at him wide eyed; and but one male. A very large male indeed stepped forward and hopped around Comosum.
When the inspection was done, the male nodded. “Welcome home Owsla.” That was all he said, all that needed to be said for the other warren rabbits came down and suddenly for the first time since his maril, he was being groomed. The pain eased and he felt his tired muscles relax. Burrs and things he could not reach were taken from his fur; and just like that he was accepted into the warren. The Owsla had been hard at first; they had not trusted him, but Comosum had worked hard to gain it. Now only a few look at him and frown; or call him a hlessi. To Comosum it did not matter. He had a home, for the first time in his life. His wounds healed and left their mark, but he was not saddened by the fact.
It was a badge to say how far he had come to find his home. Now he looked back toward the warren, a maril was taking out a group of kits for the first time. Their noses twitched and wiggled and the shied against their mother’s side. This was most certainly home, and what he had ever longed to do. He would give his life to protect this. That the marils trusted the Owsla enough to bring out their litter so young. He would protect this, would protect his home; from anything and everything. Bounding to the doe he greeted her and looked to her kittens. He bumped his nose against the most skittish of them. “Don’t be afraid, Owsla and Frith watch over you.”
((ooc: I love skunks!!~))

"What is a king to a god? What is a god to a nonbeliever?"
I have a question, do you want us to post all of our forms in ONE post? Or put them in different posts?
Doesn't matter <3 With the dice game in here I'm gonna have to go digging for everything anyway xD

Xe, just a head's up that this shop has naming rules, since we try to stick to the author's material in the book as much as possible x3
Currently the naming rules are that it has to be either a plant, animal, or something the rabbit would be able to see and know. It can also be a word in Lapine, which is the rabbit lexicon.
So, the name Robin would be possible. (I think there's already a rabbit by that name?) So would Bat, come to think of it xD
But not any 'made up' names, or humanish names.
(Unless the rabbit is an escaped pet, and that has to be approved by staff due to hlessi issues and the like ._. )
"What is a king to a god? What is a god to a nonbeliever?"
Ok and on the topic of naming, could be use a human name for the Owsla bunny if we gave it a backstory since it's a contest and thus will be read and approved by staff anyway?

Yes, if your name makes sense with your entry it should be fine :3
