Personality:
Flexible: While he can get down to do his work Marco is not adverse to having plans change and needing to work on an alternate path. He is fine with changing plans and details provided he has some warning. Last minute or 'sudden' changes upset him yet he'll still work with them. Very rarely will a change make him reluctant enough to not change what he is doing. He can be stubborn if he knows he is right, but more often than not he'll listen and take advice into consideration.

Stoic: Marco does not like to show his emotions. He thinks in work and in casual dealings its more trouble than it's worth to share what he feels. It can help him be practical but it also can make him seem without empathy but the reality is he simply hides what he is feelings. It takes him a while to warm up to people and even then he is very terse in what he shows. If he's showing his emotions he's usually distressed or trying very hard to win someone over.

Focused: Blocking out his feelings as best he can and working under the idea that if he ignores what is going on he'll do better, Marco makes his life both easy yet complicated. Easy in the sense he gets his work done quickly and carefully, difficult in the sense that Marco ends up missing out on what happens around him. He can find himself out of the loop and needing to play social catch up with others, but he is able to keep his thoughts and work rather orderly. In blocking out the outside, he also can take in minor details at times, if trivial details.

Caring: While he puts of the stoic front and can be rather detracted from his feelings, under it all he does care about people. His work to make sure people can live healthy happy lives drives him, he genuinely wants to help people, if he's a bit poor at showing it.

Direct: His shortcomings in showing his emotions are not helped in the fact he is direct in what he says and very rarely will mince his worlds. In many ways this is good, as he'd not prone to misleading or lying, but he's going to let people know how things are. He tries to lay things now nicely at times, but only if he feels it's needed.

Pessimistic: Direct and fails to candy coat his words means he's going to say things how they are and how bad they can get. He'll mention the good, but he won't focus on it. He doesn't think getting hopes up helps but will on occasion try to be optimistic. He tries, though it doesn't really come out like he intends.

History:
Born as the 3rd son to a low ranking lord, he followed the pursuit of becoming a doctor. After said lord father's death, much of the little wealth Marco's family had went to his eldest brother. Still, Marco is fine with this. He still has some land for himself and a nice savings. Overall, he prefers his life as a traveling doctor.

Somnium


Personality:
Empathetic: Showing far more insight than Marco, Somnium is content with trying to help by simply being present and in a way, reminding Marco that showing emotions is A-okay. Simple touches are the easiest way Somnium does this though th knows occasionally people need their space.

Devoted: He sticks by Marco when depressed at loss, fear, hurt worry. The insight the guardian has with his chosen is strong in this sense and very rarely will he stray far even when told to. Somnium watches over Marco and others as best a guardian can.

Optimistic: Even if told things will end horribly, Somnium will push forward and offer a kinder thought. Reminding Marco for happier things, things they both enjoy.

Stubborn: No means maybe to this gaurdian. Pushed away he won't leave. Told no he will keep pestering. Occasional steal an herb or two from Marco's pack. He also will refuse to move sometimes, much to Marco's frustration.

Arrogant: Somnium thinks very highly of himself. Often ignoring orders and doing as he likes the guardian preens under compliments and huffs when scolded or told he's beneath something/someone.

Evasive: When in trouble, either with Marco or any other, the guardian will avoid confrontation. When people are mad with Marco, the guardian will urge Marco to leave or go for a peaceful resolution.
