Hey all you roleplayers, and welcome to WTNC's Official Revival Thread!
Here is where ALL ideas for any new plots, characters, and dieas will be posted! Please put in your input, because we need it! I'll be sending an announcement about the renovation and revival, because we need everyone on board here. Personally, I am in favor of a complete renovation. I mean, everything wiped and started anew. I'll clean out all threads and repost popular ones, and cats will be killed off or put up for adoption. I think it might be easiest, but that's just my thoughts.
Please help! WTNC must reclaim it's fame as one of the most active and popular Warriors guilds! 8D

Question: Would all characters be killed or put up for adoption, or would just the ones that aren't wanted anymore/have been abandoned by their role-players?

I'm so glad the guild is going to be revived! So I agree that we should find out what cats are and aren't active and then kill off or put up the inactive ones for adoption. Maybe we should look at all the cats in each clan, PM members, and then make a list of what cats are active and what cats aren't. And then a list of what inactive ones are up for adoption and what ones are being killed off. However, I've been thinking and, seeing that we'll probably have lots of cats up for adoption, maybe the limit for how many cats someone can have should be changed or maybe just gotten rid of? Maybe just allow members to determine how many cats they can keep up with? Just an idea, so we don't have dozens of cats up for adoption.
I think we should try to pick up maybe where we left off with the clans? Or maybe do a small timeskip of like a few days? That way not many drastic changes have to be made rank-wise (unless high-ranked cats have gone inactive)? Though I like the idea of making new threads and deleting old ones, but maybe we just wouldn't have such a huge timeskip in the roleplay? But, if we do the complete renovation I have the same question as Ember regarding the cats with active members and whether they too would be killed off or not.
As for ideas for the new series I'd be willing to help you come up with one/plan it out. I have a few ideas floating around in my head that we could use. Honestly, I'm willing to help in anyway possible! Just let me know what you want me to do, Leo! I just want to help get this guild active again!
However, I will not be online this Tuesday until this coming Saturday. My school is taking us on a trip to Disney so I won't have internet access or a computer. So no posts for me during that time period. But as soon as I come back I'll be ready to help!

I agree that we need to Revive the guild, however I don't think we should wipe out all the threads. Put them in the Library that was created, so that those who wish to go back and go over old posts can do so. I personally like going back through the story. Also, many people get new ideas from past experiences so keeping them there might revive some ideas as well.
Well, that's just my opinion on things.

@Ember: Only the characters that were volunteered for adoption or abandoned by their roleplayers. I apologize that that wasn't clear. ( :
@Trixie & Gray: Yesyesyes, that's what I meant. I enjoy re-reading the posts as well, so we'll add to the library we have or create a new one (pre-renovation). Does that clear things up?

And yay! I'm really hoping to have an even better summer than 2010- without the BreezClan explosion! xD
Okay. I'm going to rephrase what I said in my last post, for everyone.
MY IDEA
is, like I said, to recycle all threads and re-create new ones, but they won't be deleted- simply moved into a library for reference and coding and such. They won't be locked or anything, but there aren't supposed to be any posts in there.
Also, this could act as a new start- a lot of people have given up characters, Timber especially. And I want to keep her characters as close as she had them herself- I don't want to adopt them out to anyone who will abuse them. And that's if we decide to adopt them out. However, if we wipe the slate down, it could be an opportunity to rework characters. If people have too many, there is an option to put them up for adoptiong or kill them of, thus having a new start. And of course, you can keep old characters as well.
Anyway, I have to go for now, so if there are any questions- I didn't have time to fully elaborate- please just post them, and I'll answer them the best I can!

I'd be giving up quite a few of my characters, as I think of it.
This seems like a great good idea C:
But the one character I will not give up is... Blackflame
Ofcourse, this renovation seems great, a fresh, clean new start.
I'm quite excited, I believe this'll be great.

That's exactly what I want for WTNC. A fresh, clean, new start. Personally, I wasn't nearly experienced enough to run my own guild when i founded this. And it's just gotten so huge, bigger than I could have imagined. But now, I may still be busy, but I can get a handle on things now. I want to serve you as the Captain I should be. So, my goal is to really clean up te mess I've made for myself and this guild, clean everything up, and try to fix some of the things members have been complaining about.
Anyway. For right now, I really want you to post ANY AND ALL complaints you have EVER had about this guild. I reallyreallyreally want to know, so I can fix it. ANYTHING. Please don't feel that you need to be shy about it for courtesy- this is your guys's guild, and I want to do my best to fix it. So, pleasepleaseplease tell me! I haven't recieved hardly any complain PMs, and that's what I'm here for.
Once I get a handle on what everyone thinks needs to be fixed, I can get moving on it. I want everyone's input on what I'm doing- what I'll try to do it post goals for that day or week, and what I'd like you as members to do is look it over and tell me your thoughts. Whether it works or doesn't. Whether it needs to be simplified or elaborated. Get my drift?
Alrighty. My goal is to start in the beginning of May, and I'll work on it as much as I can, around my school and drill team and 4-H schedule. I'm also planning on revamping the crew list- those who are willing to put the time and effort into this guild. Honestly, I don't want to give crew positions out to those who won't donate their time to help. And I'm not at all meaning to sound rude! Dx

I posted a cat a longggg time ago and she still hasnt been accepeted. Mabye not a complaint but a comment is, when you post in the profile aproval thread it takes a while to get he/she approved X3

Well, we could begin starting off on a Prophecy, suggestions, and like you said, complaints are good, it'll be able to where we can fix our mistakes we've made in the past/ we might make in the future, and lead us on brighter.
I think we need some more authority, things went downhill when you weren't around enough, and Timber wasn't on to help us, thats what i've noticed, I observed the activity, and I found it sad once it went down.
Also, maybe we could have activities like we used to when we were smaller?
I remember You, Timber, Meaty, Gray, and I, all searching for items scattered across the boards.
How 'bout we do something diffrent than that?
Like art contests, writing contests, photo contests.
You know, stuff that'll bring it back up, make it more active.
Also, i've noticed the timeline hasn't been updated, well, not timeline. The calender, but I know that's just because of you being busy, but it's still something you should know.
Bringing this up, I don't think we should have 'demons' and such in our roleplay, and I mean this in the situation of Forsaken, trust me. I REALLY enjoyed Forsaken, but I kindof found it alittle weird and offtopic, straining along the lines of unrealistic and, actually, quite strange. I still enjoy Forsaken whenever I read about him, and I have nothing against Trixie, nor any other members of this guild (Seeing as i'm more mature and fair forgiving now)
Hm, I can think of more, if you want me too, extra suggestions and such that may help.

@Thistle: Thank you very much! All duly noted. And I definitely agree with the too-fantastical characters. They provide for good entertainment, yes, but my hopes for this roleplay is to become more realistic.
