Upon arriving from the portal, an attendant was already waiting for the students, a Clans member dressed in an assortment of simple black robes and ornate jewelry. The room they were in was dark, dimly lit, though the ceilings seemed to be painted in various hues from muted purples to brilliant crimsons. The smell of incense wafted from an unknown location, sweet and at the same time, oddly nostalgic.
"You are now at the Clan of Death." They nodded. "There is very little that we ask of you as students, more that you simply respect our ways, and our teachings. Honour the priestesses that help guide our Clans, though you should see very little of them. You will be given temporary sleeping quarters, but starting tomorrow, you will begin the first of your classes and training field exercises. You will have free time to explore various areas after your studies. Is there anything else you would like to know?" OOC - Your student now has clearance to various areas in the Clan of Death! The first of note is the dorm rooms, where students can go to interact with any other students in this subforum/ clan - Next, if students wish to explore the area/ break into PRPS/ their own ORPs, there are designated areas they can visit. - After 24 hours of exploring around, the CLASSROOMS and TRAINING FIELDS will open up, which students can also explore as well. TRAINING field exercises can be taken DAILY (you can choose one out of all the training field exercises per OOC DAY/ 24 hours), classes will be updated approx every 24 OOC hours by a GM, with homework to complete for points. - Once again, all rules are here if you have any questions on how things operate. - BE SURE to read the general information on the Isle of Death so you have a good idea of the setting! All information here is OOC knowledge, for now. - If your student is exiting this thread/ ANY threads, be sure to note it with an ENTER and EXIT post. Feel free to post a reaction in this one before EXITING.

((ENTERING ACE))
Aleator Amaana was a stark contrast to the realm of death as he would soon find out. Ace was dressed in all sorts of gold trimming and despite his dark suit, it was not enough to conceal the boil 'loud' disposition. Still, even with as obnoxious of attire as HE was wearing, he still remained quiet and well-mannered. Just like daddy taught him.
Honor the priestesses was the biggest rule. Got it. Though he was nervous at the idea of choking up in front of a bunch of wise, noble ghouls, Ace had a few tricks up his sleeves for playing the whole.. halp me card. Haha.. card. Get it?
Quietly he waited for any interesting Halloween denizens to tag along with. This would be one righteous ride.

He meandered on into the place as if he owned it (but not really) with his Familiar perched on the shoulder both of them looking around curiously at their new surroundings as they got acclimated to everything. There was just so much to take in and apparently do. There was but a small pause as he paid attention to the 'Host' of this particular area and then seemed thoughtful.
Was there anything he wanted to know?
"...Is it alright for our Familiars to be out in the open or should they be tucked away?" He asked toward the Attendant. Just to make sure. As much as he loathed to be without Endzela ... if he had to pack her away he would.
Endzela let out a soft dismayed sound.

(( Entering)) Hel was eager to immerse herself into something new and different, and theses Isles where to say the least, certainly exotic. The reaper took in the environment and the horsemen, and found herself easily admiring their appearances. There was just so much to take in, and she found herself…eager to see and learn more. As ready as she was though, she didn’t forget at all the promise she had just made Shun, and thus waited for Mitsu before she went anywhere. Seemed the Lycan was going to be her shadow for their time here. Hel noted the others who here as well. A demon of sorts and then…was that…one of Freya’s boil toys? Oh. It was. Great. Ignored. Anything having a connection to her sister at the moment was whole heartedly unwelcomed.

Kettil caught sight of...what he recalled to be Freya's sister from a picture once shared with him over HIM but...
...Wait something was off. Please hold.
Please hold while the brain hamsters turned in their wheel and tried to figure out the Hel-Puzzle before him. Needless to say he couldn't quite figure out what was off by her appearance cause he didn't ...know her well enough.
Or at all.
Still he was friendly and smile at her a bit. Endzela observed the ghoul in question and tilted her head toward her Reaper murmuring a soft, "Ket, sometimes you are too friendly."
"..Not possible, so what if I want smile at 'Two-tone', there is no harm in that," He snorted softly in a low tone to his Familiar. Like it or not Hel now had a nickname forever in Ket's mind.

SUDDENLY, PONIES. Israfel was giddy as he arrived, pretty much doing as he had in the auditorium, vibrating in sheer excitement. As the horsemen came into view? His blue eye lit up with joy. To him they looked amazing. Sure clothes were a bit drag but JEWELRY. He liked jewelry. They said something out honor and exploring. He'd do a lot of exploring. Looking at other who filed in- Boil. Boil in a suit. Suit suit suit. "Hi." He chirped, wiggling his way over. "Hi Hi, I am Israfel, you don't look familiar are you a new student? This places is pretty I like you suit and what's your name?" He paused, "Oh oh are you excited about the ponies?"

So two new students appeared, both of which Ace couldn't recognize- wait, that split-colored ghoul he DID recognize from the trials on skelevision. That would mean that she was from Amityville. Funny, he recalled she had a lot more feathers than that. Best not to ask, he presumed.
Speaking of feathers, the other boil who'd arrived was just enough of a stranger for Ace to avoid. What could he possibly say to the boil? Nice accessory? Surely the owl didn't deserve a remark like that.
Ace was unsure whether conversing so casually amongst the other students was allowed but if it involved talk of the clans and trials, maybe he could get away with it. Approaching Hel, the demon gave the valk a polite gesture with a slight bow before raising both his eyebrows to show his impression. "You were a participant during the trials, weren't you? I can't forget a face~"
But just as he'd gotten a chance to speak to the ghoul, a ghoulish creature started frantically addressing him with a ferocity that even made ACE nervous here in these 'hallowed' halls. "Thanks I get my suits pressed often, never ever wear hand-me-downs," he said in an attempt to ease off the siren's interest (though it would likely backfire) before finally offering his name. "I'm 'Ace.' I'm intending on enrolling at Amityville sometime after this expedition."

The realm of death seemed a bit...lackluster and drab for Mei's tastes. In her mind they needed just a taaaddd more color or..or something. But she made no motion to say anything about it. It was what she chose and you could never judge a book by its cover.
She was just excited to be here.
The petite Jiang Shi looked about at those who had already arrived. So many new people to meet. So little time to converse though it seemed. Perhaps during down time she could track some of them down and shoot the breeze with them.
Fiddling with the ends of her sleeves, she glanced towards the attendant. There were no questions that came to mind for her to ask so she mainly stayed silent for the most part.

Surprisingly, Imryn found herself liking the overall look of the place. It was dark, plenty of places to hide out or sneak around, though she had a feeling that they would not like it very much if she were to go snooping around and poking into places. Listening politely to the attendant, she just nodded her head a little at the appropriate points and kept her mouth shut. She was certain that these priestesses, if she even saw any of them, would be too busy to pay much attention to her but having decided to be a well behaved representative, she'd play the part as be respectful while here.
Taking a quick glance around the room,so far there wasn't anyone that she recognized from he school... but it seemed that they were just starting to arrive, and there was bound to be more on their way. Not that she knew many others as it was. And who knew, maybe she'd get to know a few people a little better while she was here. So far she was content just to float in a little corner of the room and people watch for the time being.

Reiko stepped through the portal, and her attention was immediately focused on the attendant. The dark-haired ghoul listened closely to the directions, nodding to herself. She was sure she could do that. Unless, of course, what she considered to be polite was rude ot the Horsemen...oh, she hadn't considered that, but what was the likelihood that their culture had a completely reversed or even partially reversed system of courtesy? Probably more likely than she wanted to think about.
She looked over the class and bit her lip. Well, at least Mei was here, that was good. She walked over to the Jiang Shi.
"Mei? It is good to see you again. I'm glad I know someone in this class." She smiled at the other ghoul. "I know the class is Jewelrymaking...but what do you suppose we'll be making?"

It was indeed, a fast way backfire as Israfel seemed only more interested. "Oh I know. Dry cleaning is expensive but if one wants to keep their clothes orderly it's very much needed. And hand me downs... augh. It's bad when they don't fit. I used have to wear my sister's dresses and they never fit because I never grew chests like them." It was casual conversation for him, that was, rapid fire conversation. "And it is nice to meet you Ace! I am excited! We are on the pony islands! Can you believe that?" He looked over to the others appearing and Hel- Hel. Wings drooped as he gave a small nod to her. "Hi Hel." He saw the other student and smiled at them as well. He looked familiar but not? Odd.

It took Draven an instant to decide that he liked this place. Sure, he had not seem much of it at this point, but so far, he liked it.
He listened quietly to what the Attendant told them. Everything seemed fairly straightforward, respect the local culture mostly, and he knew he could handle that. He had a hundred questions, too, but knew most of them were simple things that would probably be answered if he waited. He would learn what his room looked like when he got there, he would know how to find the classroom when he found it.
So, for now, Draven stood back with a silly grin and took in his surroundings. This was certainly an adventure.

The ghoul's face lit up as a familiar face approached her. Even though they had just met, Mei still felt a sense of friendship between her and the exchange student named Reiko. There was just something about her that made Mei want to pinch her cheeks. "Reiko!" She smiled and gave the other ghoul a hug. "Glad you made it without any problems." Looking about, she bit her bottom lip slightly. "Hmmm, well. Maybe we'll be making some sort of fancy enchanted jewelry? Like something that can change your shape or something that can make you like ten feet tall. Now THAT I would like to see."

He'd noted the one boil that had been here before him but had said nothing to him at the moment and it seemed as if the two were willing to just not really acknowledge each other at this time. Perhaps sometime later they will ... do ~*~THINGS~*~ but for now it was just taking note of the other.
As far as the one that smiled at him went ... He smiled back and even offered a bit of a friendly wave. Kettil was nothing if not friendly or at least sociable.

((entering)) Looking over the room with a keen, critical eye, Sabine decided that the Death Clan needed better interior decorators. This place just screamed of old lady. At least it didn't smell like pet pee. Yet. One of the reaper's was already asking about their familiar. Rolling her eyes as the attendant went on about respect, and teachings, and ugggh priestesses, the vampire began to seriously wonder if she should have taken the social risk of coming on this trip. At least, unlike the DeSanguine Academy, there were boils here. And...Sabine sighed and shook her head, tsking as she approached Hel, "Hey, freaka, lookit you rocking the dual tone. I like it, it's fabulous, but I think you're a bit turned around. This is the Death Island, freaka, fat camp was the second one." Putting a perfectly meanie-cured nail to her lip in faux surprise, she continued, "Did I say fat camp? I meant Famine."
