PROMPT RPS: CREATING YOUR OWN ORP/ PRP

- Before you create your own ORP or PRP, you need to CHOOSE A SETTING.
- Select ONE of the prompts/settings provided in this thread below. This is where your student will be ICly for that RP. Prompts may change weekly, or even a new one to be discovered may be added randomly. Title your rp [ PROMPT LOCATION HERE ] [ORP OR PRP] - PLAYERS HERE. Now, when you walk around the location, you may discover things as according to the prompt. Follow the prompt rules, everything else is at your own pace.
- EXAMPLE: I choose "The Jade Pavilion" prompt as my setting. Now, I can create the prp/orp with whomever I talked to and put my students into the setting. Other characters can also arrive or walk with my student. Once we get there, at our own pace, we can begin rolling mechanics to "spot" while in that setting, as according to the prompt I read. You can roll as many times as the prompt gives you, rp it out accordingly. These rolls are "active events" that are happen in the setting that your student can ICly discover and puzzle out for themselves.
- There is a also plotting thread for your chars to meet up with each other HERE
- GMS may or may not be busy, but if you would like to have the CHANCE at a random GM encounter in your PRP/ ORP, mark your thread with a [!] so we know!
- Please do not MAKE more than 3 prps/orps (though you can join as many as invited) until you have finished them all (marked as FIN)

The Library

General setting: The library, like all other structures in the Isle consists of one large open room. Ornate paintings decorate the 'skylight' of the library structure, the ceiling is dome shaped. It is rather dim, other than sparse, yellow lighting, though the walls are crammed full of books. Most of them seem like logs actually, simply stating a simple date. Upon opening the books, they are entirely unreadable, simply filled to the brim with a series of four digit numbers and scrawl in an entirely different language.

OOC: EVENT ROLLS AND PROMPT MECHANICS:

- When your student has arrived in this setting, you can CHOOSE to roll a 100-sided dice at any point in time. You can only do this twice per RP you make. Match your dice roll to the results below for a prompt/ small reaction that your student may discover. RP out results accordingly.

1-20: You pick up a book, and notice that it has the number1999 on it. Oddly enough, when you open the book up, inside instead of random scrawls, are also strange diagrams. You don't really understand what they mean, as they all the circles in the diagrams are covered in unusual glyph markings. (see below for horsemen point prompt)
- Horsemen point prompt! You also see something glint next to you, but is it just a trick of the light? Roll a 6-sided dice. If odd you obtain one horsemen point! You can only redeem a max of two from all prompt prps/orps your student is in per OOC 24 hours. You can redeem these here and here!
21 - 40: You take a closer look at the ceiling of the impossibly high library and notice that the paintings, around the corners, take a more morbid sort of tone, as the figures in the paintings seem to shed their skins and turn into skeletons. Okay then....
41 - 60: You notice a clansmember scouring the archives, his arms full of books. He has several books that actually have letters on them, though they simply state "The Teachings of the Path of Death. Boring.
61 - 80: You see a Clans member, entirely covered in a black cloak walk past you: one of the Clans priestesses. She seems to be in a hurry though.
81- 100: You notice at the far end of the library there is a sealed passageway. However, the door seems to be firmly shut, and in fact, made out of solid stone.

The Temple of Guidance

General Setting:
It is absolutely silent inside the Temple of Guidance. It is a very large, domed expanse, and you note that quite a bit of attention to detail and architecture has been put into creating this temple. You see several priestesses pass by, on the way to a room in the far end, where several more are bowed in prayer. A few Clans members seem irrate that you are even in here...

1-20: You look at the two large statues placed at the entrance of the temple: both of them two cloaked figures with outstretched wings, very similar to the general appearance of the Priestesses.
21 - 40: You notice a strange smell in the center of the room: in a large pyre is what smells sweet and gentle: incense. However, smelling it for a long period of time makes you dizzy, and the room swim.
41 - 60: You notice that there are candles littered all around the room, and they are lighted in an odd, indiscernible pattern.
61 - 80: You hear a Clans member chanting as he drapes an ornate, jeweled necklace over the pyre in the center. "All paths lead to the same end", "All souls require guidance"... the muttering goes on and on.
81- 100: One of the priestesses, in fact, the one leading a procession forward, turns around to look at you for a second, just a brief second, before walking away.

THE Forges

General setting: Deep, deep down, near the very base of the Clan settlement is a staircase that leads even lower, made of iron instead of marble. It leads to a giant, cavernous opening underneath where all the weapons and metals are forged and restructured. The area seems very mildly occupied though, mostly by Clans members who are working away, though the noise is very loud, the consistent clink of metal against metal.

1-20: You notice all around you, just on the ground, lying there, pieces and pieces of untamed rare and precious stones and metals, just ripe for the taking. Its too bad a Clans member is watching you...
21 - 40: You see a few weapons lying around, swords, sparse amounts of armour, but most of the crafting seems to be centered around making ornate jewelry. All jewelry is interestingly enough, very organic shaped.
41 - 60: The few swords you see lying around seem to have been made ages ago, many of them dusted and unpolished. You do notice a very unique weapon though, a long black scythe, still glinting in the light as if just newly made. It reminds you of an Heir's weapon... (IF YOU HAVE NOT ENCOUNTERED AISA, then the last clause is void).
61 - 80: You hear two clans members talking with each other, the conversation is not heated quite yet, but they seem to be at a dispute with something involving "only a week's time will tell"
81- 100: There is suddenly a loud ringing noise. All clans member suddenly stop what they are doing and kneel on the ground, in prayer. A few minutes later another chime, and they continue to work again.
