`❖-;The Pokémon,Post 5 ○ Name: Terpsichore Talon ○ Pronunciation: terp-SIH-koh-ree TAA-luhn ○ Name Meaning: "She who takes pleasure in the dance" in Greek (the name of one of the nine classical muses, for dance and choir) ○ Gender: Female ○ Stage: Teen ○ Sexuality/Status: Bi / Single ○ Height: 5' 1" ○ Weight: Rather lightweight ○ Pokémon: Shroomish ○ Nature: Bold (flashy)
○ Myers-Briggs Type: ENFP (idealist type, champion role-variant) ○ Personality: While Terpsichore may have started off unsure about the world around her, she was quick to adapt to new situations that she threw herself into without thought. She handles stress with relative ease, which helped her warm up to performing for individuals that she didn't necessarily understand very well. With a penchant for grabbing the attention of passersby with her mimicry, she soon learned that performance was something she could live for. Friendly, if a bit too in-your-face, Terp can have problems realizing when she should back off. She likes to help where she can (as long as it doesn't require too much strenuous manual labor), and adores being able to make people smile. ○ Likes: Leaning towards a more social outlook, being a strange sort of social butterfly, Terpsichore loves to make friends (and sort out enemies) using what she loves to do as her weapon. Actions can always speak louder than words, and with her love for acting and the dramatic arts, she can study reactions given to her -- and from her -- with ease that most don't have. Her admiration for the human world isn't a secret, and neither is her love for their curry! ○ Dislikes: While Terpsichore's hobbies tend to be worn on her sleeves, so to speak, she is less likely to openly detest something. She finds that dislikes are a good way to build character if one is forced to do them -- even while doing so as well. Due to this, she is pretty easy-going and will not outright refuse to do something she doesn't like (she is not a spoiled actress!). She does not like much of the manual labor (lifting, moving, etc.) that the human world seems to have, as she is not the strongest in the world by far. She dislikes very salty foods, fighting (despite being a pokémon), and highly industrialized or otherwise high-tech things. ○ Other Quirks: Terpsichore's personality, in and of itself, stems from a very unusual trait quirk, though this may not be immediately evident. She tires of the life the average pokémon leads in the world of Gaia -- she doesn't even like battling! -- and instead strives to be a human being. While a life in stardom isn't considerably appealing to her either, the actress' way was the only way she felt she could fit in with the Gaians. So... did it work?
○ Approx. Level: 10 ○ Ability: Poison Heal - Poison status ailments heal 1/8 HP every turn instead of damaging while in battle.
○ Moveset: - Absorb - default move - Tackle - learned child stage - Leech Seed - learned child stage
○ Playlist: - Headlock - Imogen Heap - sp1「suns of sanctuary」 - Duel Jewel (instrumental)

`❖-;The Trainer, Post 6
○ Name: Nix Talon ○ Gender: Male ○ Age: Mid-30's ○ Sexuality/Status: Heterosexual/Single ○ Height: 5' 10" ○ Weight: Average (he travels all around creation, after all!) ○ Specie: Human ○ Occupation: Professor's aide (booted)
○ Personality: Eccentric, even for his profession, Nix has made it his life's ambition to discover and learn of anything that strikes the world as even partially strange. He leaps at the opportunity to find something new or rare. Always on the move at the smallest hint of a bizarre occurrence, it's almost as though he doesn't understand the concept of slowing down. He is stubborn and can oftentimes even be considered dense with his single-mindedness. His inability to multitask is profound, and he can seem like a klutz. Despite the flaws, he is a very friendly fellow with quite a sense of humor -- sometimes it is difficult to tell when he truly is being absent-minded or if he's made a joke out of a situation. ○ Likes: Nix has an abnormal fondness for researching, and it is not limited to only science, either. He enjoys reading, and although he is not what one would consider a "bookworm," he can come rather close. He likes travel and exercise, but can become absorbed in his thoughts so much that he can fail to notice when traveling companions don't share his attitude of it. Nix likes light-hearted atmospheres in conversations as well as relaxation time with a cup of tea. ○ Dislikes: Obviously, he dislikes when his work is either interrupted or precluded! He basically lives for the job he's barely even got a grasp on, and when he is hampered from being able to enjoy it, he is not a happy camper. This isn't to say that he is a bear about it -- he's understanding, and will take the hit with grace -- but it doesn't mean that he's happy about it. He dislikes sweet food (but likes sweet drinks), and has a fear of figs.
○ Abilities: Nope, Nix is a rather unremarkable human being. He may have talents of deduction and observation, but they are far from above-average -- he's simply open to a wider array of ideas.

`❖-;Known History, Post 7
○ Terpsichore ○ It was quick, soon in life, that Terpsichore grew weary of the life the average pokémon lived -- herself included. She longed for a better life, one where she could travel to her heart's content and see all the sights the world had to offer without having to battle other pokémon for the opportunity to do so. In truth, she was quite the wuss, and she had no intention of changing this fact. Marveling at how free the Gaians tended to be, those who cut through the forest where she lived, she decided to be more like them, in the hopes she could fool them into believing that she was one of them. Practicing her personality by copying the varying emotions she could discern from the local fauna, she soon grew bold enough to venture into more developed areas, to practice her "stuff" there. Maybe they wouldn't notice...
○ Nix ○ Starting on the lower rung of his profession, Nix quickly rose to professor's aide with his eye for detail and a knack for observation. His imagination had a tendency to seep into his reports, only seeming to get worse with time as he grew more comfortable with his role. While not currently officially under any specific professor (due to none of them wanting anything to do with the crazy, though they won't admit it), he's still a valuable asset enough to keep on-call. However, his reports have become even more senile-sounding lately. Wonder what that's all about..?

○ Name: Endymion Talon ○ Stage: Teen ○ Height: 5' 9" ○ Weight: A bit heavier than average for height due to structure ○ Specie: Pokémon (Scyther) ○ Occupation: Teen ○ Relation: Terpsichore's teammate / Nix's pokémon ○ Personality Notes: Uneasy of the world and unsure of himself, Endymion hides insecurities behind an icy scowl. He is a pessimist at heart, oftentimes finding himself trying to avoid interactions and anything he has no control over. Truth be told, he is very shy, but attempts at masking this "flaw" with an air of unapproachability. If someone is afraid of him or thinks he is probably a jerk without having to converse with him, he counts it as a win in the world of social interaction. However, this attitude about others has only left him to grow in bitterness and, despite what he may say, loneliness. End likes others a lot more than he lets on, but allows fear of outcome misdirect his thinking process. He is currently attempting to close the world off behind lock and key, having developed a paranoia mostly instigated by Gaians, and fears attachment.
○ Name: Margarita Talon ○ Stage: Teen ○ Height: 5' and wiry ○ Weight: Average ○ Specie: Pokémon (Muk) ○ Occupation: Pokémon ○ Relation: Terpsichore's teammate / Nix's pokémon, Myrrh's accomplice ○ Personality Notes: There is no easy way to describe Margarita's personality. It is a random assortment of personality types and demeanors mashed together into a ball, tossed into a blender, and set to "puree" for the better part of an hour. While she may seem to have some strange mood swings at times, you are more likely to find a blending of opposing attitudes showing at once. In fact, it may just be that she's difficult to read; Nix isn't sure yet. For what it's worth, she seems to enjoy what she does, savor life, and find joy in anything she does. Anything.

`❖-;Acquaintances, Post 11
○ Pokémon ○ Sprites link directly to the corresponding Pokékid's profile page.
Endymion - He makes for good mimicry practice, even though he tends to be a bit of a stick in the mud about it. She tends to get easily annoyed at his nervous stuttering, but he makes for a good practice on "patience" as well, in that respect. Terp is currently looking out for him so he doesn't do anything stupid on his own, when he stormed off from Nix's camp. First Seen: Pokémon (Both) || Last Seen: Teen (Both)
Margarita - Terp believes Margarita is a little too "advanced" for her at this point in time. The grimer is difficult to read, and more than a little selfish! They don't always see eye-to-eye, what with how obnoxious the grimer always acts, but Terp has made it a personal mission to get along and be good friends with Rita. First Seen: Pokémon (Both) || Last Seen: Child (Both)
Sasha - She still owes Sasha for some dango! While she may be in self-proclaimed debt, Terp really liked Sasha, and was amazed by her accurate type-tasting skills! Who knew pokémon could create new abilities like that? First Seen: Teen (Sasha) / Pokémon (Terpsichore) || Last Seen: Teen (Sasha) / Child (Terpsichore)
Alexis - Very friendly, Terpsichore liked that about Lexi right off the bat. She seemed pretty protective, in a sense of the word, and very responsible! All very good traits that Terpsichore wants to strive for as well! First Seen: Teen (Alexis) / Pokémon (Terpsichore) || Last Seen: Teen (Alexis) / Child (Terpsichore)
Meadow - And Meadow thought she adored Terpsichore! To the shroomish, the miltank may be the nicest person in the world! And she didn't take offense when Terp strutted her stuff! Though she was rather saddened that she couldn't go home with Meadow... "Yes, you can keep me! D:" First Seen: Teen (Meadow) / Pokémon (Terpsichore) || Last Seen: Teen (Meadow) / Child (Terpsichore)
Eilam - Terp was surprised to note that the god of all pokémon was just your average, intelligent poké-child, and a rather friendly one at that! To top it all off, he was pretty fun to tease, but she's going to blame that fact on Dea's instigation! He is very matter-of-fact and takes responsibility like the best of them, and Terpsichore couldn't help but feel a touch of envy about it all towards her friend. Until she realized they were practically cousins, Terp also had a small crush on Eilam. First Seen: Child (Both) || Last Seen: Teen (Eilam) / Child (Terpsichore)
Kaida - If this little eevee didn't have the most imagination in such a tiny body, Terpsichore wouldn't know what a good example was! Kaida was super friendly and greatly enthusiastic, and these traits easily transferred to the shroomish-girl and got her to play along. Eventually, they plan to explore some crystal caves! First Seen: Pokémon (Kaida) / Child (Terpsichore) || Last Seen: Pokémon (Kaida) / Child (Terpsichore)
Lucinda - While she didn't get the opportunity to speak with Lucy in person, she learned a lot from second-hand knowledge via Lucy's teammate, Eilam. Terpsichore wants to try to get her own teammates to meet her and learn the value of meditation, but she's not sure how feasible that would be... First Seen: Child (Both) || Last Seen: Child (Both)
Karma - While their first meeting went a little unconventional, Terpsichore was determined to right any wrong she had done, despite the fact that Karma didn't really remember the shroomish. Terp discovered a way to help with the ditto's memory issues, however, so hopefully they can stay friends this time! First Seen: Pokémon (Karma) / Child (Terpsichore) || Last Seen: Child (Both)
Cascade - Meeting in progress First Seen: Teen (Cascade) / Child (Terpsichore) || Last Seen: Teen (Cascade) / Child (Terpsichore)
Lilly - Meeting in progress First Seen: Teen (Lilly) / Child (Terpsichore) || Last Seen: Teen (Lilly) / Child (Terpsichore)
Honey - Meeting in progress First Seen: Teen (Honey) / Child (Terpsichore) || Last Seen: Teen (Honey) / Child (Terpsichore)
Myrrh - Meeting in progress First Seen: Child (Both) || Last Seen: Child (Both)
Ilmari - Meeting in progress First Seen: Teen (Both) || Last Seen: Teen (Both)
Lightning - Meeting in progress First Seen: Child (Lightning) / Teen (Terpsichore) || Last Seen: Child (Lightning) / Teen (Terpsichore)
Jayme - Meeting in progress First Seen: Teen (Both) || Last Seen: Teen (Both)
○ Other Acquaintances ○ Nix Talon - Terpsichore, Endymion, and Margarita's trainer - Finally, a human that she can travel with without a need to battle other pokémon or be trapped in a tiny ball! While Terpsichore is grateful of him for that as well as the ability to travel all over the land, she also finds him to be a rather interesting man. She believes it is because of him that she was able to transform into a poké-human in the first place, so she cannot begin to thank him enough! First Seen: Pokémon || Last Seen: Child
Deanna Longabaugh - Eilam, Lucinda, and Lightning's trainer - Truly a marvel of what a trainer of a poké-kid ought to be! While she still maintains the air of the trainer she was to her transformed pokémon, Terpsichore was amazed by how well her maternal instincts kicked in when Eilam transformed into the state he stands today, and later Lucinda and Lightning as well. Why couldn't Nix do that? *huff* First Seen: Child || Last Seen: Child
Grayson Willows - Karma's trainer - Terpsichore was kind of... really afraid of the scientist, to be honest. It was at this point that the shroomish realized how terrified she was about laboratories and becoming a guinea pig. Unfortunately, due to this, she didn't get a good idea of the man himself outside of what he did for a living, despite his disinterest in studying the poké-children in the room at the time. `❖-;Tour of the Home, Post 12
Because Nix is more of a nomad, neither him nor anyone with him really have any place they stay at for long periods of time. Despite this, Nix still has a place he can technically call "home," though it's used more as a storage shed and pit stop than anything else. Due to this turn of events, the real "home" that the group has is merely a set of tents under an open sky, parked in a makeshift campsite, and nothing more. Also a card table, but Nix tends to try to pawn carrying that off on anyone else, the slacker. Trips into town are used to stock up on supplies about once a week, or a month for Nix to report on his finding to the professors, but staying at a hotel or anything is out of the question during these periods of time.
Since Endymion's growth into a more teenaged form, Terpsichore has found her preferred home to be out of her reach. Taking on the responsibility for making sure the antisocial, self-secluding scyther doesn't get into more trouble than he can handle, she struck out and is now stuck to shadowing him. She still lives a mostly-nomadic lifestyle, but her traveling entourage has become much, much smaller.

`❖-;Gifts & Belongings, Post 13
Throughout Terpsichore's travels, she has picked up a few items here and there. Most of them are useful, while others tend towards the more sentimental end of the spectrum. All of the items have their rightful place with her, though some are more prominently present:
○ Backpack: Quickly taking to a life in the great outdoors, the shroomish carries most of her belongings in a hiker's backpack. She loves this rather unremarkable-looking device, particularly now that she can actually use it with the arms she's grown since evolving into a child. It is mostly empty, but Terp isn't above helping others out by carrying things that aren't her's to keep within the pockets.
○ Hand Lotion: Due to the fact that Terpsichore is one of the few individuals in Nix's party that will (or can) help set up and dismantle a campsite, she has a tendency of working her hands raw. Deanna was kind enough to provide her with this solution, and it has become an invaluable asset in Terpsichore's travels.
○ Notepad: While most of the pages are empty as of yet, Terpsichore hopes to fill the spiral-bound tablet with helpful notes as she observes them, in order to become a better person (and human!). She will oftentimes filter through Nix's own notepad for ideas and to copy down some notes that she finds could be useful.
