> Personality: Uneasy of the world and unsure of himself, Endymion hides insecurities behind an icy scowl. He is a pessimist at heart, oftentimes finding himself trying to avoid interactions and anything he has no control over. Truth be told, he is very shy, but attempts at masking this "flaw" with an air of unapproachability. If someone is afraid of him or thinks he is probably a jerk without having to converse with him, he counts it as a win in the world of social interaction. However, this attitude about others has only left him to grow in bitterness and, despite what he may say, loneliness. End likes others a lot more than he lets on, but allows fear of outcome misdirect his thinking process. He is currently attempting to close the world off behind lock and key, having developed a paranoia mostly instigated by Gaians, and fears attachment.
> Likes: Despite the opposition he may put up to the idea, Endymion doesn't actually dislike travel. In fact, he really likes it! He likes seeing new sights, coming across the oddities Nix finds, and learning new things. He even gets to meet new people! N-Not that that last one is a good thing... Endymion enjoys his solitude, observing nature, and holding on to a sense of security, but his flighty nature makes these instances almost impossible to experience when he is constantly afraid that something is going to jump out at him at any moment.
> Dislikes: End can put up with a lot, and many of his dislikes can be handled without an excessive amount of grumpiness (that is, more than the usual amount). While End may like traveling, he does not appreciate the fact that he tends to have to carry the baggage. Literally. He also dislikes when idiocy keeps piling up on top of moronic behavior; there is only so far an idiot ball can roll before Endymion can take no more. He tends to dislike electric-types, but this prejudice mainly stems from a scarf that Nix makes him wear when it gets cold.
> Other Quirks: He is oddly quite self-conscious, more about things he's known about for longer than any new developments (such as personal features as opposed to newly-acquired family). He tends to push away the things he likes more than those he doesn't. He also highly despises the color red, but as more of an odd phobia than anything else, and his fear of blood. > Personality: Eccentric, even for his profession, Nix has made it his life's ambition to discover and learn of anything that strikes the world as even partially strange. He leaps at the opportunity to find something new or rare. Always on the move at the smallest hint of a bizarre occurrence, it's almost as though he doesn't understand the concept of slowing down. He is stubborn and can oftentimes even be considered dense with his single-mindedness. His inability to multitask is profound, and he can seem like a klutz. Despite the flaws, he is a very friendly fellow with quite a sense of humor -- sometimes it is difficult to tell when he truly is being absent-minded or if he's made a joke out of a situation.
> Likes: Nix has an abnormal fondness for researching, and it is not limited to only science, either. He enjoys reading, and although he is not what one would consider a "bookworm," he can come rather close. He likes travel and exercise, but can become absorbed in his thoughts so much that he can fail to notice when traveling companions don't share his attitude of it. Nix likes light-hearted atmospheres in conversations as well as relaxation time with a cup of tea.
> Dislikes: Obviously, he dislikes when his work is either interrupted or precluded! He basically lives for the job he's barely even got a grasp on, and when he is hampered from being able to enjoy it, he is not a happy camper. > Endymion < Endymion never felt he really fit in with the other pokémon of the wild, and was quick to shun any opportunity he had to grow from experience and interaction. He never learned to be social, sticking with the awkwardness that came with the territory. With his avoidance of encounters of any kind, he also never learned to adequately fight, or even to defend himself. Any tricks he learned was from faraway observation, something he was able to do more readily when he came into contact with Nix.

Starting on the lower rung of his profession, Nix quickly rose to professor's aide with his eye for detail and a knack for observation. His imagination had a tendency to seep into his reports, only seeming to get worse with time as he grew more comfortable with his role. While not currently officially under any specific professor (due to none of them wanting anything to do with the crazy, though they won't admit it), he's still a valuable asset enough to keep on-call. However, his reports have become even more senile-sounding lately. Wonder what that's all about..?

 Alexis - Although noticeably meek, End was (somehow) given the impression that she was a very good battler, manipulating strategy to her benefit. Due to this, and the fact that she has the uncanny ability to practically read his mind, he's actually quite terrified of her.

 Sasha - She licked his face and it stuck there... After that little mishap, he isn't left with the best impression of her. He can, however, verify that she was rather friendly, and that was nice. He'd just be begrudging about it. To summarize, he thinks she's a lovable psychopath, but is unsure if that is a good thing or not.

Margarita - Now that Rita has learned to control her overwhelming stench, Endymion has decided that she... is a handful. He finds her more than a little annoying, especially when she starts throwing things at random, but... eh, he can at least deal with the little monster.

Terpsichore - He finds her quite a bit annoying, moreso because she likes to let the world know what he's feeling despite the front he puts up. He tends to avoid her when possible because of this, but she has proven before that she isn't as much of a freeloader as he initially thought. Now if she would just give him some breathing space...

 Meadow - Her friendly nature made it easy for Endymion to slip into his more intimidating persona, but it also made him feel a bit more guilty for it. She's pretty good at manipulating the situation, but shh, don't tell End that.

 Carwyn - Despite the fact that Carwyn didn't seem to understand what personal space was, and the fact that the child found it very easy to embarrass End, the scyther couldn't actually find it in him to dislike the drapion. Now if he could just figure out if this was a boy or girl he was dealing with...

 Cascade - Very perceptive and careful about her words, while it was easy for her to pinpoint a few nerves, Endymion actually enjoyed the chat they had. They both seem to have things they would rather not talk about in too much detail, and having such similarities made things more relatable, even if Endymion still reacted in a nervous manner.

 Fluffernutter - Fluff and his trainer Julie were both very friendly, and despite the fact that End really didn't know much of anything on the area, neither of them make him feel very out of place. They were both, however, completely and entirely naive -- even enough for the scyther to admit it.

 Jayme - Timid and flighty, Jayme's shy insecurity was something that Endy picked up on right away, seeing parallels to his own thought processes. This made it easy for the scyther to understand the surface emotions, despite the causes of such reactions to remain on alien ground, making it just as easy for Endy to quickly call friend regardless of the numerous misunderstandings endured. Endymion is almost entirely oblivious to seeing the crush that Jayme has developed on him...

Nix Talon - Endymion, Margarita, and Terpsichore's trainer - End thinks that this single-minded individual needs to try paying attention to something other than his research every once in a while. Although irritated with the man most of the time, End still has respect for him; he'd just never, ever admit so.

Julie Starsonge - Fluffernutter's (previous) trainer - End had never actually interacted with a human child before this, so it was a new experience. She was excitable and full of energy, a trait he thinks her pokémon syphoned off from her.

Because Nix is more of a nomad, neither him nor anyone with him really have any place they stay at for long periods of time. Despite this, Nix still has a place he can technically call "home," though it's used more as a storage shed and pit stop than anything else. Due to this turn of events, the real "home" that the group has is merely a set of tents under an open sky, parked in a makeshift campsite, and nothing more. Also a card table, but Nix tends to try to pawn carrying that off on anyone else, the slacker. Trips into town are used to stock up on supplies about once a week, or a month for Nix to report on his finding to the professors, but staying at a hotel or anything is out of the question during these periods of time.
On the precipice of growth into a teenaged form, Endymion experienced a mental breakdown that drove him from wanting to confront the human realms of Gaia. This, unfortunately, also included the proximity to Nix in general. While Nix didn't particularly have a very stable living arrangement, always on the move, Endymion has further slipped into this realm of life. Currently, the scyther is traveling without his trainer, tagged along with the company of Terpsichore, whether he likes it or not.

Objects and materials that Endymion has gathered or was gifted, and that otherwise play a semi-important (or sentimental) role for him, will be placed here. > Mareep Wool Scarf: Endymion hates this thing with a passion, and would probably set fire to it if given the chance. Gifted to him from Nix so he didn't freeze in the snow when they first met, the scyther could already feel that it was from an electric-type and cursed the researcher for being so dense about that fact. It doesn't help that, in certain lights, it also looks slightly pink.
> Jayme's Note: A small piece of paper that Jayme the teddiursa gave to him so that they could keep in contact. The script is written very nicely and it supposedly has the address of the place Jayme works at further in town. Now if only Endy could read it...
