Human Characters Tayah Name: Tayah Age: 21 Gender: Female Info:Tayah is a sweet young woman, just setting out on her way in life, she's friendly and likeable and often talks to herself, or Nova, when she thinks she's alone. She left her parents home and is settled into one of her own. She has great plans of breeding Mokai of all types but is still a little naive on the business side of things. She adores Mokai and is a little wary of fighters because she doesn't like to see them getting hurt. She doesn't think much about Ferals but she leaves a large plate full of food outside her door every night just in case any wandering creature is in need. She has recently received her first Mokai in the shape of a rather stunted Pet, his previous owner hadn't taken very good care of him and he'd gotten sick, rather than take him to get treated he sold him instead, luckily for the little male Tayah was the first to respond to the ad and she took him home, the little creature stealing her heart in minutes. Nova, as she named him, got better and is now happy and healthy, if a little wary of strangers. RoleplaysTayah and Dearel Katori Name: Katori

Katori is a very practical man, he treats his Mokai well but at the same time, knows what they are for. The only Mokai Katori dislikes are culls and Ferals. Too often he has had food and other things stolen by these wandering Mokai and it angers him. He paid good money for his things so he does't like giving freebies. Mira is his second fighter, his first dying in an illegal fight just before he bought her, this has made him wary of the illegal fights and he trains Mira hard to keep her in top shape. He's fairly approachable and has a wide friend base in the fighting community, he's known to buy a round of drinks for his buddies after his Mokai has won a fight.
Katori only raises fighters but he's not cruel, should a cull be born to a litter then he will sell it once it's weaned from it's mother but beyond that he doesn't appear to care about it's future. He likes to fool himself that the unfortunate Cull will be looked after, since Someone was willing to pay for it. He will put Mira in with culls, to fight, sometimes if he feels she's lacking but in general he thinks that the best way to train a fighter is to fight properly, rather than just shove them with a cull and let the fighter gain confidence by beating it up. Mira certainly doesn't need the confidence boost that it gives young Mokai. If his Mokai get injured or sick he would be the sort of owner that, despite his 'gruff' attitude towards them, would stay up all night, treating it, talking to it and making sure it was okay.
He recently obtained a new fighter, a male he named Thowra. He's training him up to replace Mira, since he suspects Mira is tiring of fighting. He's thinking of taking her out of fighting for a while. (in his lucid moments anyway)

Nova  Name: Nova Gender: Male Type: Pet Obtained: Newbie raffle Stages: UncertOwner: Tayah Family: None yet. History:Nova was born to an intense pet breeder who didn't care much about the health of his Mokai, his mother, a small little thing was bred to a much larger Mokai, his father being almost forced into the decision since he didn't want the small female to disappear like all the females had done before that hadn't given the breeder pups to sell. Nova's mother died shortly after her pups were born, leaving the breeder to throw Nova and his sister in with another nursing female. Nova was always small even from the start where his sister had been large. Where Nova was always nervous, between being bullied by other pups and being so small, his sister was outgoing and tempermental. Nova and his sister were bought by a rather gruff, burly man but had taken a shine to the way Nova's sister behaved thinking that for a Pet, she had spunk and maybe could breed some fighters out of her. Nova wouldn't leave her side and neither would his sister let anyone take her without her brother, so the two found themselves in a new home. They were taken care of quite well until the day his sister turned on the man, she had always been unpredictable but the man had tried to take her food up before she had finished and she'd bitten him. Nova never saw her again after that, first she vanished and then Nova was given away. His new owner wasn't so pleasant. He was barely fed and in the end, got sick and was sold to Tayah for far more than he was probably worth at the time but Tayah wasn't about to leave him behind. Under Tayah's care Nova got stronger and stronger, he wasn't going to get bigger than he was but he wasn't skinny anymore, he is currently very happy being the only Mokai Tayah owns right now and is enjoying a happy life and being pampered finally. PersonalityNova is a very nervous Mokai, he's not a coward as such but he won't often fight for what he believes in either. He grew up bullied and made the bottom of the pecking order of everything and as such is always cautious whenever he is outside of Tayah's home. Only in there is he 100% comfortable and truly happy. He adores pups no matter what and will always roll over and let them play with him. It doesn't take much to gain Nova's trust and sometimes he will stand up for himself if someone makes fun of his stutter. Mira  Name: Mira Gender: Female Type: Fighter Obtained: Christmas Gram from Buffy Stages: UncertOwner: Katori Family: None yet. History:Mira's history is very simple. She was born a fighter, she was raised, not particularly cruelly but enough to make her appreciate a good meal every day and the care given when hurt or sick. She was trained hard and she hides some scars under her silky fur. When she was well trained enough to be sold for a profit she was purchased by Katori. He is a fairly kind but practical man and expects the best from Mira, which she gives always for him, While she does adore him she has never really been a 'lap dog' kind of girl. She was trained a fighter and that's what she is, Katori has the odd scar from reminders that she is just that. She has grown into adulthood under the eye of her Human, his training is tough but Mira does it willingly. She has never forfeited a fight yet, win or lose Mira is in it to the end. She's met a few males that piqued her interest but none proved up to fighting her, or if they were, they lost because they were trying to show off. When it comes right down to it, Mira is a very practical female. PersonalityMira has a sweet face and is very pretty but don't let that fool you boys, this girl is as tough as they come. She adores her Human who is rather kind to her, she knows fighters aren't always treated well....from experience when she was being trained before Katori owned her... and loves her life as it is. Mira dreams of being the greatest fighter there is and beating all others, all the time. Her biggest flaw is that she will gloat before the fight is officially finished and can often be caught off guard. While she isn't overly aggressive towards Ferals, she can't understand why Mokai do it, at least.. not the well looked after ones. In her mind Humans are a great thing, they can take care of you when you're sick or hurt, they feed and shelter you. She feels bad for culls but she would never show it openly, rather.. if she's made to fight a cull she will often not put her all into the fight, she'd rough him up a bit but nothing that he couldn't easily recover from. When it comes to other Mokai, especially other fighters, she much prefers male company. She likes to be called pretty and she likes admirers but she won't be overly kind. She does get concerned about others when they're hurt but her concern is often masked by sarcasm and not many seem to see past that sarcastic tone. Thowra  Name: Thowra Gender: Male Type: Fighter Obtained: Christmas Gram from Vistada Stages: UncertOwner: Katori Family: None yet. History:Thowra is a recent addition to Katori's fighters. He noticed that Mira was going out for longer and longer though she always came back to train and fight when needed, all he had to do was call her and she'd come back. So far Thowra is content to be pampered since he's young and mostly under-trained so he is currently using Katori as a means to an end. He's enjoying the attention at the moment. His life was typical of a fighter bred in a regulated kennels, mostly uneventful, training most days, fights with other Mokai his own age. It was clear early on that while he was a good fighter, Thowra didn't really have what it takes to be a Great fighter and he was sold to Katori when the man was drunk and so his judgement had been impaired. He met Mira and was unimpressed, while he occasionally flirtily talks with her, he is simply not interested in the bad tempered Mokai, especially after the absence of the male that visited her while she'd been hurt. PersonalityThowra is a flirt, plain and simple. He loves a challenge and can often be very elegant with his words when a female spurns him. He's not one to interfere with couples though so if he knows a female has an interest in another that is reciprocated by the other male, he will leave well enough alone and just be a very polite and charming male. When Thowra fights ... he moves like the wind his name stands for. This isn't always a good thing but it means he is light on his feet. Sometimes he can get a little too cocky and ignore (at his peril) his rival. He is very well mannered even in a fight and while he WILL fight females, he is oh-so-very sorry about having to do so. He is also very vocal, he will flirt and taunt with whatever gender he happens to be fighting, while he is only interested in females, it's not wrong to tell another guy he's good looking right? ....or that you admire the way his muscles ripple.... and other such compliments. He IS a bit of a rogue though and finds it hard to settle with one female, he's most definitely a love 'em and leave 'em kind of guy .. unless he could have a Harem....... can has Harem pls?! .... He has a lot of love to give and if he DID settle down with one (or two, or more) females permanently then he would be a very kind and self sacrificing mate. His flirting would tone down immensely .. or if he did, it would be no more than boosting another's mood as he would be loyal to whoever takes his heart. Roleplays:
